The Confessions singer opened up to WSJ. Magazine on Monday about his health regimen and diet, and revealed something very interesting: he doesn’t eat on Wednesdays! Like, not at ALL! The R&B crooner has chosen to avoid food entirely every single time Wednesday comes around on the calendar, and judging by his hot bod, well, it seems like it’s been serving him pretty well! LOLz!

He explained the thought process behind it to the mag during their chat. As part of that revelations, he gave a hat tip to his grandmother, who he said practiced the same fasting schedule during her life:

“I fast, not for religious purposes, but it’s something my grandmother practiced. I fast on Wednesdays. I typically try to start around 11 p.m. the previous day, then go the entire day on Wednesday just drinking water.”

Wow!

Like we said, it’s been working for him. We couldn’t imagine going a whole day without food, but then again, we don’t have the body that he does! LOLz! On the other six days of the week, the singer is equally disciplined, too. The Yeah! performer revealed his morning workout plan and how he gets his body ready for every day:

“I don’t like to eat breakfast before I’ve worked out or done something physical [like] taking a walk, stretching or doing yoga, sitting in the sun and raising my body’s natural heat levels. Then I eat. Normally, my workout regimen starts either walking or with certain knee activations and reverse walking that I do to really engage my quads, my knees and glutes. Other than that, swimming is a really good thing to get me going, and bike riding. Weightlifting, I don’t do a lot of that.”

He also gives his mind a workout, too! The lithe A-lister concluded:

“I try to wake up early enough to have a moment of reflection. Some days I may grab a book and read to stimulate my mind. I may sit quietly and meditate. One thing that is a frequent practice is yoga. It really does help to activate my organs and get my mind moving in the right direction — as Tony Robbins would say, ‘make my move,’ you know what I mean?”

Over two decades after first joining the world of entertainment management — at the surprisingly young age of 19 — the infamous entrepreneur is finally hanging it up. In a lengthy Instagram post on Monday, captioned “23 years”, the 42-year-old went down memory lane through his entire career before announcing he’d made the decision to retire. He wrote in a carousel of images:

“23 years. That’s how long I have been a music manager. 23 years ago a 19 year old kid started managing an artist named Cato in Atlanta, GA and my journey began. Along the way I have had so many experiences I could never have dreamt of. I have been blessed to have had a ‘Forrest Gump’-like life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys of some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has ever seen. I’m constantly pinching myself and asking ‘how did I get here?’ And after 23 years this chapter as a music manager has come to an end.”

He went on to explain how music management consumed his life 24/7 — and for a while he “loved it” — but now he’s ready to focus more on his kids after his “personal life took some hits”. But just because he’s disappearing from the management scene doesn’t mean he’s gone for good. He explained he’ll be continuing his role as the CEO of his company HYBE America:

“In this next chapter I have been honored to join as a board member of Hybe and serve as the CEO of Hybe America. My brilliant partner these past 3 years, Chairman Bang, has a vision I truly believe in. But even beyond that he has become a true friend who understands where I must be in my life these days. And that is a father first, a CEO second, and a manager no more.”

Scooter added how he felt he’d been heading toward retirement for a couple years now, saying it was God’s plan for him. Innerestingly he says doesn’t regret any of the time he spent as a manager. In particular, he said he still supports ALL his past clients and is cheering on “every single one of them”:

“I have nothing but love for those I have worked with over the years, and as we develop a different working relationship, I will always be in their corner to consult and support them whether it be directly or from afar. Every client I have had the privilege of working with has changed my life, and I know many of them are just beginning to see the success they deserve. I will cheer for every single one of them.”

No regrets, huh? Of course, the record exec has been mired in controversy ever since he bought Taylor Swift‘s discography masters — allegedly right out from under her. And when he name dropped all his current and past clients with to thank them for all their work and time over the years, every big name he collaborated, he notably left her name off the list.

He reflected on his work with artists like Andrew Watt, Lil Dicky, Tori Kelly, J Balvin, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Steve Angello, Carly Rae Jepsen, PSY, Quavo, Kanye West, YG, The Kid LAROI, Dan+Shay, Asher Roth, and Usher. He also threw out the names of Demi Lovato and the Zac Brown Band, but it wasn’t until he started in on the successes of Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber did he really show his pride. The music pro said it had been an honor watching them grow up into the “legends they are today”:

“There will never be a day where I don’t take great pride and honor in what we accomplished together. The same can be said for so many I have had the pleasure of once being called “manager”.”

Scooter didn’t forget to address the elephant in the room, though! At least indirectly. He took a moment to reflect on how he says he’s always taken “the high road” when “attacked.” He wrote:

“There has been a lot said about what is happening in our company… and in my career. When we had success I smiled, and when we were attacked I always tried to take the high road. But for the last 3 years I have begin to feel that taking the high road has created confusion and ambiguity as to who we are.”

So Taylor “attacked” him, is what he’s saying? And he’s the better person for taking the high road, but also he now thinks taking the high road was a mistake? Hmm…

The record executive said his colleagues will now be the ones taking over the management positions while he oversees this new era diving into primarily K-Pop, new artists, new investments, and his family. Wrapping up his statement, he said:

“So yes, it’s been 23 your ears. And yes, this chapter has come to an end. But the great Berry Gordy once told me ‘young man, it never ends the way you wanted, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.’ That wisdom has proven to be correct. I never saw how this chapter would end, hell, I never even saw it happening. But it did. And I will cherish every moment of it. I made my plan… but it turns out I like God’s plan better. Cheers!”

Confirmed Attendees

In this category, Anna Wintour leads the charge as the head chairperson, as she does every year. Duh! LOLz. Alongside her as co-chairs are Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Bad Bunny, and Jennifer Lopez. Honorary co-chairs include Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew. So, they’ll all be in attendance.

Also confirmed to be in attendance are Zendaya’s Challengers co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor. That’ll be steamy! And YES, hawt momma Rihanna is expected to serve looks as well! We can’t WAIT for that!

Rumored Guests

Here is where the bulk of the names are, as everything is still up in the air with rumors and reports and claims about the guest list. Starting off this set of rumored attendees, we have Kendall Jenner. It was previously said earlier this month that she’s the ONLY KarJenner invited this year, but Deuxmoi reported Kylie also made the list. And Kim Kardashian DID just change her hair again, like how she did before wearing Marilyn Monroe‘s dress at the 2022 Met. So, maybe she’ll be there too?!

Other rumored guests include Met regulars Gisele Bündchen and Cara Delevingne, as well as Sarah Paulson, Uma Thurman, and Olivia Rodrigo. Sydney Sweeney has said she’s going to try to make it work in her schedule, while Lily Gladstone and Ayo Edebiri reportedly received their first ever invites. Barry Keoghan is also expected to return after making his Met debut last year!

We’ve also heard Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are rumored to be there. Anna has even reportedly gone so far as to personally approve Lauren’s outfit because of her “poor taste.” Ouch!!

In addition to reporting Kylie would be in attendance, Deuxmoi also shared that Irina Shayk, Usher, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Emily Ratajkowski, and Jack Harlow could all be there. Taylor Russell has also reportedly been having fittings, so we could expect to see here there — and that means perhaps an appearance from love interest Harry Styles, too! Spicy!!

Skipping Out

Billy Porter will NOT be in attendance this year. He told E! News that his mother recently passed away and he’s still grieving her loss, which we totally get. So sad. And… maybe he’ll also be AWOL because of his pointed recent comments aimed at Anna! Just saying!

Met regular Jared Leto is currently on tour with his band 30 Seconds to Mars, so he won’t be able to go, it seems. And sadly, the same may reportedly betrue for Taylor Swift, though we’ve seen conflicting reports! TMZ reported that she and BF Travis Kelce will NOT be making it this year as she preps for the European leg of her Eras Tour, but Page Six says Tay WILL be there. They’re just unclear about Trav…  Hmmm…

Banned Forever

FINALLY, the people who for SURE won’t be there include… Donald Trump and Tim Gunn. Anna said she would never invite the former president while on James Corden‘s old talk show, so that’s going to remain a mainstay. And Tim, like Billy, once made some nasty comments about the Vogue editor-in-chief. So, it would seem he’s out forever. Womp, womp!

Why the hell did Diddy spend a “crazy” couple days with an underage Justin Bieber??

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that s**t has REALLY been hitting the fan for the embattled rapper. On Monday, both his Beverly Hills and Miami homes were raided by the feds amid sex trafficking and sexual misconduct allegations. And now, the rabbit hole just keeps getting deeper.

Over the past few days, creepy old footage resurfaced shedding light on a totally inappropriate 48 hours a young J.B. spent with Diddy for reasons unknown. In the clip, Justin — who was just 15 at the time — stood next to Diddy, who explained what was going down. He said:

“Have you ever seen the movie 48 Hours? Right now he’s having 48 hours with Diddy. Him and his boy, they’re having the times of their lives.”

Um, what?? The Bad Boy For Life rapper continued:

“Where we’re hanging out and what we’re doing, we can’t really disclose. But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”

RED FLAG RED FLAG RED FLAG!!! That sounds so creepy! Why was J.B. with him for two days? Why couldn’t Diddy “disclose” what they were doing?? He added:

“I have been given custody of him. He’s signed to Usher — I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album, I did Usher’s first album. I don’t have legal guardianship of [Justin], but for the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re going to go full buck, full crazy.”

Justin then added, “We’re going crazy.” You can see the clip (below):

We’re sorry, but WHAT THE F**K?! Why the hell does a (then) 40-year-old man want to hang out with a 15-year-old?? Especially one who’s completely unrelated to him?? Please, make it make sense. And the Usher stuff? Also SO creepy! Especially in the wake of the resurfaced Howard Stern clip in which Usher said he saw “wild” and “crazy” stuff at Diddy’s mansion when he was underage. And those aren’t even the only two examples of weird activity with minors, FWIW. Diddy was also recently accused of raping a 17-year-old girl!!

On X (Twitter), users raised their eyebrows to the roof:

“What 40 year old wants to ‘hang out’ with a 15 year old? Unless, of course, it’s your child or a close relative.”

“Where is JB’s mother? She is responsible for her 15 year old son.”

“I’ve been thinking it for weeks. Poor Justin.”

“it’s super creepy seeing all these videos of Diddy that’s coming out, but what’s really concerning is.. Diddy might be just the tip of the ice berg. How many more Diddy’s are still protected in the industry? How many more kids have been groomed?”

Of course, Diddy is all over the headlines after the feds raided his homes in Beverly Hills and Miami this week. Unsettling sex trafficking allegations have been flying around related to the raids, which were led by the Department of Homeland Security. And now, new (old) s**t is hitting the fan!

The Confessions crooner is getting a ton of social media attention right now after an interview he did with radio shock jock Howard Stern way back in August of 2016 just resurfaced. In that clip, pulled from the long-lasting Howard Stern Radio Show, Usher talks very subtly and carefully about living with Sean Combs back when the R&B superstar was up-and-coming at just 14 years old!

Usher told Howard how he was sent to the so-called “Puffy Flavor Camp” at Diddy’s New York mansion in the early ’90s to “see the lifestyle” that was common in the music biz. But once Usher got there and settled into Diddy’s crib, he recalled seeing “very curious things taking place.” With a pained look on his face, Usher asked the radio shock jock:

“Do you understand what that’s like?”

Stern responded as you might expect the shock jock to respond:

“The place was filled with chicks and orgying nonstop, right?”

But Usher, who is now 45, pulled back on that. He claimed:

“Not really. I got a chance to see some things … I don’t know if I could indulge and even understand what I was looking at.”

Uhhh… that’s creepy?! And again, without speaking specifically about what he saw, the U Got It Bad singer offered more cryptic comments about his time spent living with the Bad Boy Records boss:

“It was pretty wild. It was crazy. There were very curious things taking place and I didn’t necessarily understand it.”

Yeesh…

Then, when Stern asked Usher whether he would ever send his own kids to the so-called “Puffy Flavor Camp,” the singer loudly exclaimed:

“Hell no!”

FYI, this wasn’t even the first time Usher spoke up about Diddy and sex. Waaaaay back in 2004, while chatting with Rolling Stone, the My Way singer said Diddy introduced him to “a totally different set of s**t — sex specifically.” To the mag way back then, Usher said:

“Sex is so hot in the industry, man. There was always girls around. You’d open a door and see somebody doing it, or several people in a room having an orgy. You never knew what was going to happen.”

Of course, when you do the math on that two-decade-old quote combined with Usher’s 2016 comments to Stern about going to live with Diddy at just 14 years old… and you think about what the then-teenager might have seen… uhhh… yeah. WTF. Thoughts, y’all??

No. It was literally about having fun because of a song that me and Alicia made many years ago, and we celebrate it because of the legacy of it. And no disrespect to anybody or anything like that.”

Okay, yeah, we can see that. The song is, like, a major cultural phenomenon. Maybe they got wrapped up in the moment! Usher added that since the performance, he, Alicia, and Swizz have all shared a laugh about it. Watch his full interview (below):

Beliebers who tuned into the Super Bowl earlier this month were excited by the prospect of the Never Say Never singer taking the stage alongside his former mentor Usher… But when the halftime show wrapped and the 29-year-old was nowhere near the stage, fans realized that dream was not going to come true. There were reports that Usher reached out with the proposition, so why exactly did Justin turn it down?? Well, he just doesn’t seem to have the same desire to perform that he once did!

On Saturday, an insider told the DailyMail.com:

“Justin not only told Usher he wasn’t interested in doing the Super Bowl, but he also said he doesn’t want to do much of anything when it comes to performing. He has had his issues in the past with touring, whether it was his health or mental health that made him cancel tour stops, but he just has lost interest in going on a major world tour.”

As we all know, Justin’s battle with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome — which at one point caused partial facial paralysis — factored into the cancellation of his Justice tour last February. The insider added:

“He’s with Hailey [Bieber] doing his thing, and maybe recording some music, but he is a bit of a homebody. He likes to be in the shadows and occasionally put out music but a full-on world tour or big performances on an awards show or the Super Bowl just doesn’t fit him right now. It is not much of an interest or something that drives him now at all.”

The source compared him to One Direction alum Zayn Malik — who for the most part stays out of the public eye.

Inneresting! We can’t really blame the guy… Between being thrust into the spotlight at such a young age and his health battles, we understand him just wanting some peace and quiet.

On Friday, Usher confirmed on The Breakfast Club that he really did offer J.B. a spot on his roster, but that the Peaches singer is “just wanting to tell a different story right now” — which definitely aligns with this latest update. The Yeah singer did, however, tease they’re going to “do something else in the future.”

In a new clip from an upcoming episode of The Breakfast Club shared on Friday, Usher confirmed he really did offer his former mentee a spot on his roster — but the 29-year-old wasn’t feeling it. The newlywed speculated on the younger Grammy winner’s thought process, saying:

“It might have been the fact that he is just wanting to tell a different story right now, and I understand that. But we did have a brief conversation. We gonna do something else in the future. But no love lost or anything like that.”

Oooh! So there’s still hope for a collaboration?! Fun!

The DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love crooner went on to reveal that several other unnamed stars also declined invites to make a cameo (though he denied rumors he ever contacted Chris Brown), adding:

“It’s a lot of pressure for the Super Bowl, obviously, for me to put on a show so I reached out to everybody. Justin wasn’t the only person that I actually spoke to about doing the Super Bowl. But the moment was maybe for later — he’s gonna play the Super Bowl. I’ll go ahead and give you that, in the future. I profess that over his life and over his time because he has a career that deserves it. But it just didn’t happen, but that doesn’t mean it’s not going to.”

Aw! Still so supportive! Love that! Sounds like Justin wants to save the big moment until it’s his turn to headline! BTW, Lil Jon previously told TMZ the Holy artist “wasn’t really ready” for all the work that went into prepping for the show and the extra attention it would bring him. Can’t fault him for putting his well-being first!

As we reported, the musician tied the knot to his longtime girlfriend after performing at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday. It was a real family affair, per TMZ, which obtained court docs that showed the singer’s momma Jonnetta Patton served as his witness for the ceremony. Very sweet!
