We’ve heard extremes on both ends. A couple sources have said Justin body-shamed Blake with a comment about her weight! Even if he was trying to be tactful as we’ve heard, it was still horribly insulting to a woman who just gave birth to her fourth child. Others have said he was downright dictatorial and almost method acting as his abusive character. Yeesh.

On the other hand, production insiders have accused Blake and hubby Ryan Reynolds of hijacking the film from the less-well-known Justin so they could create a business opportunity for her.

We may never know the full extent either (or both) of these are true. But we have heard one juicy new tidbit. On her latest podcast DeuxMoi revealed she’s been getting tips about the movie set problems for months! Most of what she had in her back emails has already come out… Her sources mostly agreed Justin was tough to work with, with one saying he had a “huge ego” and wasn’t who he portrayed himself to be in public. Others corroborated the story about Blake and Ryan hiring their own editor out of pocket to make her cut of the movie — and though Justin’s tested better, Blake used her star power and friendship with author Colleen Hoover to get her way, telling Sony she wouldn’t promote the movie if they didn’t use her version. One even said she told them she’d get Taylor Swift to block them from using her song! DAMN!

But that’s all stuff we’ve pretty much heard before — not this one thing. An anonymous source from the set told Deux:

“Justin was a major d**k to everyone on set, and to top it off didn’t want any feedback from Blake when she had really great input. It got so contentious that they had to rehearse scenes apart with stand-ins and only actually saw each other for the actual scene shooting.”

Whoa! So when we’re hearing about factions developing on set, this wasn’t a secret thing. If these two wouldn’t even be on set together except for the filming when they absolutely had to, everyone would have known about it! Hell, she’s a producer on the movie, and he’s the director! This is worse than some of the other on-set conflicts we’ve followed lately then… and just might join the club of legendary star wars we’ve heard about over the years.

Here are a few other co-stars who refused to be on set together…

Jerome Flynn & Lena Headey

According to a tea-spilling Game Of Thrones crew member, Queen Cersei and Ser Bronn of the Blackwater are never in scenes together because the stars won’t even be in the same room!

Believe it or not, the two characters have never exchanged a word on the show, and have only ever been in the same shot once in a scene — without even looking at one another.

Fans will remember in the Season 7 finale Bronn leaves to “have a drink while the fancy folks talk.” And in Season 8, Episode 1 Cersei hires Bronn — but she sends her right hand man Qyburn to speak to him.

Rumor has it the actors, who briefly date IRL in 2002, had such a contentious breakup they now have to be kept apart at all costs.

We don’t know what they did to one another, but if they’re willing to make an entire TV production plan around them it must have been BAD.

The Rock and Vin Diesel

From their first meeting in Fast Five, Dominic Toretto and Luke Hobbs were on opposite sides of the law — but it turned out that animosity extended beyond the screen.

During the filming of the eighth movie in the Fast and Furious franchise, The Rock posted on social media about dealing with a “candy ass” on set. And it quickly became clear which costar he was talking about. Vin Diesel may have copped to the feud — but never to the initial reason. The closest we got was Johnson going on the record to Rolling Stone:

“Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer. And what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not.”

The result of all of this seems to have been the delay of FF 9, with The Rock’s spinoff with Jason Statham, Hobbs And Show, being pushed into production next — much to the chagrin of Tyrese Gibson, who started his own beef over the need to get paid on another of these films.

We doubt if The Rock will even return to the franchise proper, especially now that Vin has announced his wrestling rival John Cena is joining the next installment.
He finished his statement to RS:

“Right now I’m concentrating on making the spinoff as good as it can be. But I wish him all the best, and I harbor no ill will there, just because of the clarity we have… Actually, you can erase that last part about ‘no ill will.’ We’ll just keep it with the clarity.”

Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts

I Love Trouble is largely forgotten, but the feud at its center will live in Hollywood infamy.

The 1994 film, about two reporters facing down danger to uncover a major crime, was meant to evoke the screwball romantic comedies of the 1940s, with Roberts and Nolte playing hated rivals who end up teaming up and then falling in love. However the enmity between the two stars was all too real.

According to Julia, her costar was abrasive and threw tantrums on set — and she did everything she could to stay away. Eventually despite their onscreen romance, the two had to be filmed separately with stand-ins! Years afterward the Pretty Woman star was quoted as calling Nolte “completely disgusting” in a NY Times interview. Nolte responded by saying:

“It’s not nice to call someone ‘disgusting.’ But she’s not a nice person. Everyone knows that.”

DAMN.

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams

This one is shocking as the costars famously dated after this incident.
But director Nick Cassavetes spilled the tea from behind the scenes of The Notebook about how one day Ryan Gosling refused to shoot with future girlfriend Rachel McAdams. He told VH1:

“Maybe I’m not supposed to tell this story, but they were really not getting along one day on set. Really not. And Ryan came to me, and there’s 150 people standing in this big scene, and he says, ‘Nick come here.’ And he’s doing a scene with Rachel and he says, ‘Would you take her out of here and bring in another actor to read off camera with me?’ I said, ‘What?’ He says, ‘I can’t. I can’t do it with her. I’m just not getting anything from this.'”

“I’m just not getting anything from this”?? And she still dated him after that?!
We mean, he is Ryan Gosling, but still…

Ryan Reynolds and Wesley Snipes

For those of you who don’t even remember Blade: Trinity, let us take you back to a time before Marvel Studios had nailed the comic book movie formula…

In 1998, Wesley Snipes slayed as Marvel Comics’ resident vampire hunter in the action-packed Blade. But by 2004, he had gotten a bit… difficult, from what we’ve heard. He reportedly stayed in character and would only communicate to the director via notes signed “Blade.” In one scene he infamously refused to open his eyes, and his eyes had to be added in later with CG! Really!

Enter Ryan Reynolds…

Long before he was playing Deadpool, he was always basically Deadpool. He was an action hero in the making who couldn’t help himself from improvising and cracking wise on set, ad-libbing in his own jokes. Ryan may get paid the big bucks to do just that these days, but it was something Snipes supposedly couldn’t take. Word is, he would only come to set for his closeups for scenes with Ryan, leaving him to film everything else by himself or with a stand-in.

But 20 years later Ryan extended an olive branch to his former co-star, asking him to reprise the role of Blade for a surprisingly big role in Deadpool & Wolverine! So we guess they’re all good now!

Channing Tatum and Emma Watson

Both stars made appearances in Seth Rogen‘s star-studded apocalypse comedy This Is The End — but their cameos originally overlapped! Towards the end of the film, Channing Tatum appears in a gimp mask as the sex toy of Danny McBride.

Apparently Emma Watson was supposed to be in that scene, too. But word is she looked around at what was happening, and it was just too much. Of course, most of the wild debauchery was in the script — but according to an extra, Channing breakdancing in his leather sex mask made her walk off set and call her agent. Costar James Franco pretty much confirmed the story later, though he graciously never mentioned Emma by name, telling the story to Interview magazine:

“This actress — I won’t say who, but she had a smaller role in the film — walked off the movie in the middle of a scene. What was going on around her was, I guess, too extreme for her… And she said, ‘Yeah, I’ve got to leave.'”

We understand saying no to that kind of a scene when you’ve got a squeaky clean Hermione image you want to protect — but why agree to a script with a giant devil penis and an impaled Michael Cera (separate scenes, LOLz!) in the first place??

Helen Hunt And Bill Paxton

This one you’d never be able to tell by the movie — because it technically wasn’t in the movie!

Long before its sequel, Twister was one of the first modern disaster movies and still one of the biggest hits. And at the center of the 1996 flick was a His Girl Friday-style love story about two divorced meteorologists played wonderfully by Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton.

But things on set didn’t have quite so happy an ending…

Rumors flew at the time the stars didn’t get along behind the scenes — which couldn’t have been helped by the fact Hunt hated shooting the movie altogether.
Years later she described the “nightmare” to Huffington Post, saying:

“They didn’t paint in the hail with the computer. They made a hail machine and dropped giant balls of ice on us. I mean, it was crazy… They had firehoses pointed at us, and you couldn’t hear anything, which is not the safest way to make a movie, so I was really happy to make it through in one piece.”

We’re not sure how Bill Paxton made it worse, but the two apparently did NOT get along. But Helen Hunt has been an actress since she was a child, and she was a professional and did her job… until they decided to make a ride.

The Twister… Ride It Out ride was a mainstay at Universal Studios in Orlando for 17 years. If you rode, you probably remember the filmed bits before the ride began, in which Helen and Bill warned you about the power of wind — only they didn’t do it together.

Yep, the stars acknowledge one another on different TV screens, and this wasn’t done to make use of the space.

No, the stars reportedly wouldn’t even film the brief scripted interaction together and had to be shot separately.

Her son Nick Cassavetes — who directed The Notebook — revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday that she has had Alzheimer’s for five years and is “in full dementia” at this time. And it’s not lost on him how “crazy” the whole situation is given she famously portrayed a woman with the disease and is now struggling with it herself:

“I got my mom to play older Allie, and we spent a lot of time talking about Alzheimer’s and wanting to be authentic with it, and now, for the last five years, she’s had Alzheimer’s. She’s in full dementia. And it’s so crazy — we lived it, she acted it, and now it’s on us.”

So heartbreaking! Especially knowing her own mother, Lady Rowlands, also had Alzheimer’s disease — which impacted her decision to star in The Notebook. She told O magazine back in 2004:

“This last one — The Notebook, based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks — was particularly hard because I play a character who has Alzheimer’s. I went through that with my mother, and if Nick hadn’t directed the film, I don’t think I would have gone for it — it’s just too hard. It was a tough but wonderful movie.”

The filmmaker did not go into details about his mother’s battle. Instead, Nick remembered a fond memory he has of working with Gena on the set of the beloved film. He recalled one moment in which the studio executives demanded he re-shoot the ending of a scene because they wanted his mom to cry more when older Allie remembers her past with Noah. However, Gena wasn’t too happy with the critique:

“She said, ‘Let me get this straight. We’re reshooting because of my performance?’ We go to reshoots, and now it’s one of those things where mama’s pissed and I had asked her, ‘Can you do it, mom?’ She goes, ‘I can do anything.’”

And she gave a stellar one-take performance. Nick continued:

“I promise you, on my father’s life, this is true: Teardrops came flying out of her eyes [on the first take] when she saw [Garner], and she burst into tears. And I was like, okay, well, we got that… It’s the one time I was in trouble on set.”

While it was conjured up by the same creative mind behind the original in Tina Fey, fans of the classic were left hungry for a proper continuation. Not to mention Lindsay Lohan, the OG star, was totally blindsided by an icky joke aimed at her… However!! Could there be another chance to get it right??

On Tuesday, a film insider told People that Lindsay, who memorably played Cady Heron, “wants to do another [Mean Girls] and has a good relationship with her former cast members.” Wow! She of course shared the screen with fellow plastics Rachel McAdams, who played Regina George, Amanda Seyfried, who played Karen Smith, and Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen Wieners. The source added:

“They are her friends and have been. Another film would be great for her and for audiences who loved the original.”

We know we’d love to see that!

As for Rachel, the insider dished that she “would likely do a Mean Girls sequel if everything presented to her made sense.” She skipped out on the Walmart reunion ad last holiday season, telling Variety at the time:

“I don’t know; I guess I wasn’t that excited about doing a commercial if I’m being totally honest. A movie sounded awesome, but I’ve never done commercials, and it just didn’t feel like my bag.”

Brutal! But she’s a movie actress and expects to act in movies! And this potential sequel being floated by the source (above) would be that, obvi, and not a commercial! And thus, if the opportunity presented itself, Rachel could actually see herself being on board! That same source claimed to People:

“She has no regrets about not doing a Walmart commercial, which is a different thing. She is super busy, but likes her former cast members and would be interested in talking about a sequel if it becomes a reality.”

According to them, Timmy thought Kim Kardashian is Kylie’s mom! Ha! They also deciphered a paparazzi vid of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce before Reneé joined the pair to speculate on what was said during Gwyneth Paltrow’s 2023 lawsuit! Watch (below):

Jacob later introduced Reneé for a fabulous performance of her hit song Snow Angel, but the REAL surprise came when Rachel McAdams — yes, the original mean girl Regina George — introduced her for her second performance!

2004 Regina meets 2024 Regina! We’re seeing double! How fetch is that?? We all know the reboot needs some serious positive press right about now!!

Reneé performed her hit song Not My Fault off the Mean Girls soundtrack, and brought out surprise guest Megan Thee Stallion to help!!

Earlier this year, fans freaked out when most of the Mean Girls cast teamed up again for a 2023 Black Friday commercial for Walmart. They even managed to get Lindsay Lohan! It was honestly pretty epic — but would’ve been better had they had Regina George, too!

In an honest new interview with Variety out on Wednesday, the actress opened up about the snub — which she didn’t realize was going to look so shady until after the fact. Why? She explained:

“I don’t know; I guess I wasn’t that excited about doing a commercial if I’m being totally honest. A movie sounded awesome, but I’ve never done commercials, and it just didn’t feel like my bag.”

Well, we can understand that…

A Page Six source previously said she just “didn’t want to do it.” So, sounds about right! But here’s the thing —  when she said no, she didn’t realize that the Freaky Friday star, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert had all agreed to be in the ad together! That was a fact Rachel herself noted and lamented regarding turning down the offer:

“Also… I didn’t know that everyone was doing it. I would, of course, always love to be part of a Mean Girls reunion and hang with my plastics, but yeah, I found that out later.”

Whoa. She didn’t know everyone had signed on? That’s too bad! Sounds like that maybe would’ve changed her mind. But at the very least, we’re glad to know she’d be down for a real reunion in the future!

Hard to know if that’ll happen though. With the upcoming release of the new Mean Girls musical movie, there’s a whole new set of plastics about to hit the screen! Speaking of, The Notebook lead said she tried to do a cameo in the flick, but it didn’t work out:

“Tina [Fey] and I sort of dabbled with a few ideas, but it was tough to make it all work in the end. I was really down for whatever she wanted to do. I think the direction it went in will be fantastic and I cannot wait to see it.”

This time around, though, Gretchen’s daughter and her friends are the new it girls, while Lindsay’s Cady serves as the school’s guidance counselor. But one thing that hasn’t changed? “On Wednesdays, we still wear pink.”

If I had, instead of working on my album In the Zone I’d have been acting like a 1940s heiress day and night.”

LOLz! She doesn’t just mean “acting” on set either! She also wrote about how intensely the emotional experience of diving into a character had affected her while making Crossroads — and it was “the beginning and end of my acting career.” But she says she was “relieved” — so clearly everything worked out for the best. In a brand new cover shoot with Bustle out on Tuesday, the actress got as candid as ever — and we’re not just talking about what she revealed in the interview! The 44-year-old made sure the magazine edited her photos as “minimally as possible,” the outlet declared in the article. So cool!

The results included her showing off her armpit hair in a sexy slim-fit dress and sporting various suit ensembles while showing off lots of skin!

Explaining the importance of avoiding photoshop, the Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret star shared:

“With this shoot, I’m wearing latex underwear. But I’ve had two children. This is my body, and I think that’s so important to reflect back out to the world.”

She also encouraged everyone to feel confident in their body — no matter what “healthy” might look like for them:

“It’s OK to look your best and work at it and be healthy, but that’s different for everyone.”

Amen!

The star went on to open up about her decision to take a step back from her career in the mid-2000s, despite getting offers for some super successful films. We’re talking The Devil Wears Prada, Casino Royale, Mission: Impossible III, Iron Man, and Get Smart! It’s hard to imagine turning down those now-classics, and Rachel admitted she wondered if she was “throwing it all away” at the time, saying:

“I felt guilty for not capitalizing on the opportunity that I was being given, because I knew I was in such a lucky spot. But I also knew it wasn’t quite jiving with my personality and what I needed to stay sane.”

Seeing the list of films she rejected, we don’t blame her for being a little worried at first! Those were hits!

Now, she believes the roles went to “the right person” for each film and she’s glad she took the time to prioritize her mental health, even though she didn’t totally understand why she did it in the first place. She reflected:

“It’s taken years to understand what I intuitively was doing.”

She continued:

“I guess I always had a sense that it would be OK; either it’s going to work out or it’s not.”

The About Time star now credits her periodic breaks from Hollywood as “really” helping her “feel empowered,” adding:

“It helped me feel like I was taking back some control. And I think it sort of allowed me to come in from a different doorway.”

Considering she wasn’t prepared for the “overnight” success she experienced after her parts in Meal Girls, The Notebook, and Wedding Crashers thrust her into the spotlight, we can understand why she needed a break! Jamie Linden‘s wife described the transition from a being recent college graduate (who was working a McDonald’s) to suddenly being considered an A-lister as jarring, noting:

“You don’t go to theater school to learn about how to deal with that. There’s no book on how to navigate that.”

We’d say she’s navigated it very well! Not only has she done what’s felt right for her, but she’s not afraid to make demands that are important as she emerges into the spotlight again — like getting Bustle to nix the photoshop! Love that! See more from her photo shoot (below)!

According to a new report from Page Six on Wednesday, the 36-year-old actress, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert, who all starred in the 2004 film, were all on board to appear in the movie adaptation of the Broadway musical version of Mean Girls coming to Paramount+. However, it sounds like the plans have come to a screeching halt – and you can probably guess the reason why. All because of money.

The outlet claimed that “the negotiations are stalled” right now after the streamer offered the four ladies a “disrespectful” salary for returning to the film. A production insider claimed:

In the words of Gretchen Wieners (somewhat), that’s so NOT fetch! Considering these stars helped make the original movie as iconic as it is today, you would think Paramount would give them a better paycheck!

The insider also claimed that Rachel, who portrayed Regina George, was offered a bigger part in the musical film than Lindsay, Amanda, and Lacey. However, the deal has not been finalized yet. So far, Tina Fey – who wrote the movie and musical – is reprising her role as the math teacher Ms. Norbury. Tim Meadows is also coming back for his part as Principal Duvall. She told Seth Meyers last week:

“I do want to give you credit, you and Tim had parts in the original film that you couldn’t age out of. Teachers work forever.”

For her return, Page Six reported that the comedian was given a seven-figure deal while Lindsay, Amanda, Rachel, and Lacey were offered a “fraction” of that salary. Oof.

While Tina and Tim are reprising their parts, that would not be the case for the foursome. Instead, it was already announced that Reneé Rapp – who starred in the Broadway show – will be returning to portray Regina George. Meanwhile, Angourie Rice, Bebe Wood, and Avantika were cast as Cady Heron, Gretchen Weiners, and Karen Smith, respectively. It is unknown what parts the foursome would be playing if they took on the project. But no matter what role it was, another insider stressed:

“Whether they appear in a cameo appearance or they have six pages of script, it doesn’t matter — [the money offered] is disrespectful.”

Tina previously shared that production for the film will begin on March 6 – whether or not Lindsay, Rachel, Amanda, and Lacey will be joining the cast on set is up in the air for now! UGH. We hope Paramount and the actresses can come to some sort of agreement because it would be amazing to see the four women together again!

Mr. Skin, the site that aggregates and categorizes Hollywood’s famous nude scenes, has released their results for the most-searched nude celebs on their platform. It was a close race, no doubt, but only one celeb can win. This year, it was… Salma Hayek!

The site shared the impressive news in a statement, writing:

“[The] clear winner this year – the ‘President Erect’ – is Salma Hayek, who won the popular vote in 11 states for her standout work in 11 nude roles, 14 nude scenes, 11 bare breast scenes, six bare butt scenes and one full frontal (for Frida).”

Congrats, gurl!

Interestingly enough, the runner up was Dolly Parton, who was the second most-searched celeb — particularly in states like Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Tennessee — despite having ZERO nude scenes under her belt (or above it for that matter)!

Maybe folks just want to get a look at all those secret tattoos!

Other honorable mentions included A-listers Jessica Biel, Daisy Ridley, Ana de Armas, Margot Robbie, and Rachel McAdams, while some noteworthy candidates popped up as winning specific states across the country. Individual state winners included:

“Amy Adams for North Dakota, Amy Schumer for Hawaii, Drew Barrymore for Arkansas, OG Wonder Woman Lynda Carter for Kentucky, Omarosa Manigault for Rhode Island, Pam Grier for Mississippi, The Brady Bunch’s Maureen McCormick for Delaware and horror queen Sheri Moon Zombie for West Virginia.”

Good for them all — but it’s great to hear the two most searched gals are in their 50s and their 70s! Plus Lynda Carter and Pam Grier, too?!

We guess it’s true what they say; a classic never goes out of style!

Of course, people aren’t only searching for nude lady stars: the boys got plenty of hits, too!

No shocker there!

Per the site, other top contenders included:

“Zac Efron, with the backing of eight states, including California, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina and Washington. Superman’s Henry Cavill brought in the votes in four states: Idaho, Kansas, North Dakota and Wisconsin.”
