We’ve heard extremes on both ends. A couple sources have said Justin body-shamed Blake with a comment about her weight! Even if he was trying to be tactful as we’ve heard, it was still horribly insulting to a woman who just gave birth to her fourth child. Others have said he was downright dictatorial and almost method acting as his abusive character. Yeesh.

On the other hand, production insiders have accused Blake and hubby Ryan Reynolds of hijacking the film from the less-well-known Justin so they could create a business opportunity for her.

We may never know the full extent either (or both) of these are true. But we have heard one juicy new tidbit. On her latest podcast DeuxMoi revealed she’s been getting tips about the movie set problems for months! Most of what she had in her back emails has already come out… Her sources mostly agreed Justin was tough to work with, with one saying he had a “huge ego” and wasn’t who he portrayed himself to be in public. Others corroborated the story about Blake and Ryan hiring their own editor out of pocket to make her cut of the movie — and though Justin’s tested better, Blake used her star power and friendship with author Colleen Hoover to get her way, telling Sony she wouldn’t promote the movie if they didn’t use her version. One even said she told them she’d get Taylor Swift to block them from using her song! DAMN!

But that’s all stuff we’ve pretty much heard before — not this one thing. An anonymous source from the set told Deux:

“Justin was a major d**k to everyone on set, and to top it off didn’t want any feedback from Blake when she had really great input. It got so contentious that they had to rehearse scenes apart with stand-ins and only actually saw each other for the actual scene shooting.”

Whoa! So when we’re hearing about factions developing on set, this wasn’t a secret thing. If these two wouldn’t even be on set together except for the filming when they absolutely had to, everyone would have known about it! Hell, she’s a producer on the movie, and he’s the director! This is worse than some of the other on-set conflicts we’ve followed lately then… and just might join the club of legendary star wars we’ve heard about over the years.

Here are a few other co-stars who refused to be on set together…

Jerome Flynn & Lena Headey

According to a tea-spilling Game Of Thrones crew member, Queen Cersei and Ser Bronn of the Blackwater are never in scenes together because the stars won’t even be in the same room!

Believe it or not, the two characters have never exchanged a word on the show, and have only ever been in the same shot once in a scene — without even looking at one another.

Fans will remember in the Season 7 finale Bronn leaves to “have a drink while the fancy folks talk.” And in Season 8, Episode 1 Cersei hires Bronn — but she sends her right hand man Qyburn to speak to him.

Rumor has it the actors, who briefly date IRL in 2002, had such a contentious breakup they now have to be kept apart at all costs.

We don’t know what they did to one another, but if they’re willing to make an entire TV production plan around them it must have been BAD.

The Rock and Vin Diesel

From their first meeting in Fast Five, Dominic Toretto and Luke Hobbs were on opposite sides of the law — but it turned out that animosity extended beyond the screen.

During the filming of the eighth movie in the Fast and Furious franchise, The Rock posted on social media about dealing with a “candy ass” on set. And it quickly became clear which costar he was talking about. Vin Diesel may have copped to the feud — but never to the initial reason. The closest we got was Johnson going on the record to Rolling Stone:

“Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer. And what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not.”

The result of all of this seems to have been the delay of FF 9, with The Rock’s spinoff with Jason Statham, Hobbs And Show, being pushed into production next — much to the chagrin of Tyrese Gibson, who started his own beef over the need to get paid on another of these films.

We doubt if The Rock will even return to the franchise proper, especially now that Vin has announced his wrestling rival John Cena is joining the next installment.
He finished his statement to RS:

“Right now I’m concentrating on making the spinoff as good as it can be. But I wish him all the best, and I harbor no ill will there, just because of the clarity we have… Actually, you can erase that last part about ‘no ill will.’ We’ll just keep it with the clarity.”

Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts

I Love Trouble is largely forgotten, but the feud at its center will live in Hollywood infamy.

The 1994 film, about two reporters facing down danger to uncover a major crime, was meant to evoke the screwball romantic comedies of the 1940s, with Roberts and Nolte playing hated rivals who end up teaming up and then falling in love. However the enmity between the two stars was all too real.

According to Julia, her costar was abrasive and threw tantrums on set — and she did everything she could to stay away. Eventually despite their onscreen romance, the two had to be filmed separately with stand-ins! Years afterward the Pretty Woman star was quoted as calling Nolte “completely disgusting” in a NY Times interview. Nolte responded by saying:

“It’s not nice to call someone ‘disgusting.’ But she’s not a nice person. Everyone knows that.”

DAMN.

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams

This one is shocking as the costars famously dated after this incident.
But director Nick Cassavetes spilled the tea from behind the scenes of The Notebook about how one day Ryan Gosling refused to shoot with future girlfriend Rachel McAdams. He told VH1:

“Maybe I’m not supposed to tell this story, but they were really not getting along one day on set. Really not. And Ryan came to me, and there’s 150 people standing in this big scene, and he says, ‘Nick come here.’ And he’s doing a scene with Rachel and he says, ‘Would you take her out of here and bring in another actor to read off camera with me?’ I said, ‘What?’ He says, ‘I can’t. I can’t do it with her. I’m just not getting anything from this.'”

“I’m just not getting anything from this”?? And she still dated him after that?!
We mean, he is Ryan Gosling, but still…

Ryan Reynolds and Wesley Snipes

For those of you who don’t even remember Blade: Trinity, let us take you back to a time before Marvel Studios had nailed the comic book movie formula…

In 1998, Wesley Snipes slayed as Marvel Comics’ resident vampire hunter in the action-packed Blade. But by 2004, he had gotten a bit… difficult, from what we’ve heard. He reportedly stayed in character and would only communicate to the director via notes signed “Blade.” In one scene he infamously refused to open his eyes, and his eyes had to be added in later with CG! Really!

Enter Ryan Reynolds…

Long before he was playing Deadpool, he was always basically Deadpool. He was an action hero in the making who couldn’t help himself from improvising and cracking wise on set, ad-libbing in his own jokes. Ryan may get paid the big bucks to do just that these days, but it was something Snipes supposedly couldn’t take. Word is, he would only come to set for his closeups for scenes with Ryan, leaving him to film everything else by himself or with a stand-in.

But 20 years later Ryan extended an olive branch to his former co-star, asking him to reprise the role of Blade for a surprisingly big role in Deadpool & Wolverine! So we guess they’re all good now!

Channing Tatum and Emma Watson

Both stars made appearances in Seth Rogen‘s star-studded apocalypse comedy This Is The End — but their cameos originally overlapped! Towards the end of the film, Channing Tatum appears in a gimp mask as the sex toy of Danny McBride.

Apparently Emma Watson was supposed to be in that scene, too. But word is she looked around at what was happening, and it was just too much. Of course, most of the wild debauchery was in the script — but according to an extra, Channing breakdancing in his leather sex mask made her walk off set and call her agent. Costar James Franco pretty much confirmed the story later, though he graciously never mentioned Emma by name, telling the story to Interview magazine:

“This actress — I won’t say who, but she had a smaller role in the film — walked off the movie in the middle of a scene. What was going on around her was, I guess, too extreme for her… And she said, ‘Yeah, I’ve got to leave.'”

We understand saying no to that kind of a scene when you’ve got a squeaky clean Hermione image you want to protect — but why agree to a script with a giant devil penis and an impaled Michael Cera (separate scenes, LOLz!) in the first place??

Helen Hunt And Bill Paxton

This one you’d never be able to tell by the movie — because it technically wasn’t in the movie!

Long before its sequel, Twister was one of the first modern disaster movies and still one of the biggest hits. And at the center of the 1996 flick was a His Girl Friday-style love story about two divorced meteorologists played wonderfully by Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton.

But things on set didn’t have quite so happy an ending…

Rumors flew at the time the stars didn’t get along behind the scenes — which couldn’t have been helped by the fact Hunt hated shooting the movie altogether.
Years later she described the “nightmare” to Huffington Post, saying:

“They didn’t paint in the hail with the computer. They made a hail machine and dropped giant balls of ice on us. I mean, it was crazy… They had firehoses pointed at us, and you couldn’t hear anything, which is not the safest way to make a movie, so I was really happy to make it through in one piece.”

We’re not sure how Bill Paxton made it worse, but the two apparently did NOT get along. But Helen Hunt has been an actress since she was a child, and she was a professional and did her job… until they decided to make a ride.

The Twister… Ride It Out ride was a mainstay at Universal Studios in Orlando for 17 years. If you rode, you probably remember the filmed bits before the ride began, in which Helen and Bill warned you about the power of wind — only they didn’t do it together.

Yep, the stars acknowledge one another on different TV screens, and this wasn’t done to make use of the space.

No, the stars reportedly wouldn’t even film the brief scripted interaction together and had to be shot separately.

As Perezcious readers will recall, the 37-year-old actor’s career on the big screen came to a screeching halt in 2021 when he was accused of “violently” raping and “mentally, emotionally, and sexually” abusing ex Effie Angelova. Other women came forward with similar allegations, claiming Armie had cannibalistic fantasies and BDSM preferences. That same year, his former lover Courtney Vucekovich even told Page Six that the Gossip Girl alum allegedly “wants to break my rib and barbecue and eat it.” Yeesh!

Armie has constantly denied any wrongdoing, maintaining all his relationships were consensual. Following a two-year investigation into Effie’s allegations, the Los Angeles Police Department chose not to charge him with sexual assault or any other crimes. Since then, The Social Network star has talked about the allegations made against him. And he apparently still has a lot more to say about it!

On Friday, Armie appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Friday to talk about the sexual assault and cannibalism accusations in depth. Piers Morgan wasted no time getting into the alarming claims, as asked flat out in the first few seconds of the interview:

“Let’s first of all address the elephant in the room. Are you a cannibal?”

Damn! He got straight to it! Armie’s response? He said:

“You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten someone.”

When asked if he had ever “eaten any human flesh” before, the Call Me by Your Name star once again denied it, saying:

“No. Not a question I’d ever thought I’d have to answer by the way. But no, never.”

Hmm. Armie then went on to deny the other accusations – specifically the ones of sexual assault and abuse made by Effie. Of the affair they had while he was married to now ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, he said:

“This was a very intense affair, very sexually charged, between two people with very similar proclivities and kinks. Any of those conversations that we had inside of that relationship, when you take them outside of that context and put them into broad daylight, it doesn’t look so good. You know, different people have different sexual fantasies. And there’s a very broad spectrum of sexuality, and people are allowed to engage with their own sexuality however it fits them and what they do.”

He added that he thinks the cannibalism rumors were “born out of a desire, to sort of like, ‘I want you so completely’, and ‘I want you so totally’ that it’s almost like ‘I want to eat you.’” What?! Elsewhere in the interview, Armie addressed the reports that he got some help from Robert Downey Jr. amid the massive scandal. As you may recall, Vanity Fair reported that the Marvel actor allegedly paid for the Death on the Nile star’s nearly six-month stint at a Florida rehab facility as he was struggling with drug, alcohol, and sex issues. When asked about the support from RDJ, Armie set the record straight:

“No, he did not. He did not pay for me to go to rehab. I don’t want to bring anyone else into my situation. There are a number of people who have been extremely helpful, and I’m incredibly grateful.”

That being said, the Oppenheimer actor was a huge help in other ways. Armie explained that Robert was there for him “in the way where anyone in Hollywood who suffers from any sort of addiction issues — whether it be alcohol or process addiction or drugs — decides to get sober, that guy will find you, and he will help you,” adding:

“It’s amazing.”

He also got some advice from him. Armie claimed Robert told him during the controversy:

“‘Sit down, shut up, everything is going to be OK.’”

Other celebrities, on the other hand? They weren’t as helpful to Armie as Robert. He noted that his other former co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Julia Roberts never reached out to him. However, he isn’t worried about “the people who didn’t contact me.” Instead, he wants “to focus on the people who did, who showed their support” – like Robert, Lone Ranger co-star Johnny Depp, and Challengers director Luca Guadagnino. The filmmaker, who worked with Armie on Call Me by Your Name, has “been vocally supportive, which is something that I could not appreciate more,” he told Piers. Ultimately, Armie has no hard feelings toward anyone who hasn’t supported him through all this:

“At the same time, I’m also well-aware that it is a precarious situation right now, and anyone who vocalizes support comes under fire. I understand that my situation was inflammatory, and anyone who gets too close might also light on fire.”

Wow…

Unfortunately fans couldn’t stop talking about something else… As Perezcious readers may have seen, Julia Roberts was seen putting her hands all over Trav while greeting him in the VIP tent. In a viral video, she could be seen holding onto Travis while scratching his chest as they spoke. The Notting Hill star seemed to be saying how happy she was for him and Tay — but in such an affectionate way!

Damn! She later apologized for using the word “gross” — saying it was more “weird.” Not much better! LOLz! And hubby Edward Glaser even said the NFL star seemed like he was “trying to get away.” You get the point. There was a LOT of backlash for a very brief interaction!

So, what does Travis have to say about it all?? He didn’t address any of the controversy directly. What he did have to say, however, was positive! On Wednesday’s episode of his New Heights podcast, the 34-year-old noted:

“I met Julia Roberts in Ireland, in Dublin. That was pretty cool.”

He called the A-lister “awesome” — so clearly if he was uncomfortable he isn’t going to mention it! Speaking of highly talented women, Trav also gushed about “having some fun” with Stevie Nicks, saying:

“She is every bit of whatever everyone makes her out to be. She is so awesome, just so awesome. Just love to see her support, just meet her, you know? Some of these people you meet and you’re like, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing here. You are unbelievable. Your talent is unbelievable, how you present yourself is unbelievable, and I am just a jabroni supporting his girlfriend.’ It’s just so much fun.”

Hah! He concluded:

“Ireland was fun. It was a good time.”

Great! Doesn’t seem like he’s bothered by any of the Julia Roberts backlash at all! That said, we doubt he’d use his platform to diss her even if he was uncomfortable. In the VIP tent, Julia Roberts was seen talking and laughing with Trav — but while doing so she was also scratching his chest and rubbing his biceps! When a video of the interaction circulated on social media, many fans called out Julia for getting too “handsy” with the NFL star! Even Nikki’s parents — who attended the same Dublin show with the comedian — thought the Pretty Woman star got a little too touchy with Travis!

And their opinions? Her momma thought Julia was “so gross,” adding that it was “weird” she was “itching” his chest. Nikki agreed, saying:

“Isn’t that a little much? … She just wants to get in there.”

Edward agreed with his wife and daughter! He thought Travis looked like he was “trying to get away” from Julia. And Nikki’s mother had more to say from there! Julie concluded her thoughts on the situation by joking:

“She’s trying to French kiss him right now! Just kidding. She would.”

The trio is definitely in the group of Swifties who feel Julia went too far and made Travis feel uncomfortable! But once their comments started to make headlines, Nikki’s momma walked back a certain remark she made! The former FBOY Island host took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday to post a screenshot of her parents’ viral comments and quipped:

“My parents are going to issue an apology soon.”

However, Julie did not issue an apology exactly. Instead, she just retracted one word from her comments. She said in a follow-up video:

“I probably should’ve said something different than the word ‘gross’. I don’t know. It’s a weird word, too. It’s not a nice word. So, I’m issuing an apology right now for using the word gross — but I think it was really weird.”

Nikki’s mom clarified she “meant to say just weird, not gross and weird,” telling everyone to just “nix the gross” part. But as her hubby pointed out, it was “too late” to take back what she said at this point! Unfortunately for Julie, he’s right! LOLz! It’s already out there now! Not that she was taking back the sentiment of what she said at all…

In footage captured by Swifties, the athlete could be seen being escorted to the VIP tent with his pal Ross Travis while his girlfriend was singing August on stage. (That’s about halfway through the show, BTW.) Just mere moments later, TayTay appeared to catch sight of the hunky tight end and her face lit up! She literally dropped her jaw in excitement! Awww!!!

What makes this Eras Tour appearance especially surprising is the fact Travis was in California the night before for his friend’s wedding! He seemingly went straight from the Calabasas bash — where he watched teammate Clyde Edwards-Helaire marry JoJo O’Connor — to the airport! This after he was out until the early hours of the morning on Friday night at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood– possibly with Tristan Thompson and Leo DiCaprio, but who knows. He had such a busy weekend and he still made time to travel the world to be there for his girl. That’s commitment!

The couple now has a few days of downtime together (assuming Trav’s sticking around) before the musician picks her tour back up in Amsterdam on Thursday. Reactions? Let us know (below)!

That’s why I’m always very open about things I’ve auditioned for and haven’t gotten the part for. I think it’s important to talk about — otherwise people just think everything’s been so great and linear and easy, and no, it’s not at all. But of course it looks like that to the outside perspective or to the naked eye.”

Well, yeah… Being a nepo baby doesn’t always necessarily ensure you’ll get roles… but come on!! It does just about serve up the opportunity on a silver platter compared to the Average Joe, which is a VERY different experience than normies face trying to get their names out there. But the We’re the Millers star actually seems to think sometimes THAT can be easier than the hand she and other famous babies have been dealt:

“I think there’s two sides of the coin. People like to say, you know, you have a leg up because you have family in the industry. But then the other side to that is you have to prove yourself more. Also, if people don’t have good experiences with other people in your family, then you’ll never get a chance.”

She continued:

“I think there’s something to be said where everybody loves the kind of overnight success story. And so if you’re kind of not the girl from the middle of nowhere that broke into Hollywood, there’s kind of an eye roll of like ‘Well, your dad was this.’”

Hot take! But what she’s not considering is how many years that actors spend trying to get their names out there at all! Trying to even land auditions at all! And not to mention paying for all the acting lessons with, in all likelihood, a LOT less money than what a nepo baby is coming to the table with when it comes to banking on their famous fam’s finances! Like, come on, girl! Us regular folks have to work jobs around our desire to make it in Hollywood or whatevs!

The Space Cadet star joked about actors like George Clooney qualifying for the same nepo baby label because of his relation to his actress aunt Rosemary Clooney, but ultimately touched on an idea that Lily Allen has also been vocal about:

“I feel like young girls get it harder with the nepo baby thing. I don’t really see people calling out sons of famous actors — not that they should be called out. I don’t think anyone should be called out for wanting to follow their dream.”

Five months after the iconic Friends star passed away, the division of his reported $120 million fortune is still being sorted out. But before his untimely death, one of the names Matty established as deserving as a piece of his pie was none other than his ex-girlfriend Rachel Dunn.

Rachel, whom the Fools Rush In star dated from 2003 to 2005, clearly left quite the mark on him as the other beneficiaries named in his will include his parents John Perry and Suzanne Morrison, as well as his half-sister Caitlin Morrison, per docs obtained by Page Six.

So if they didn’t stick together, why keep her in his will? Well, when they broke up, People reported there were no hard feelings, and that it was just more an issue of Matthew keeping himself on track:

“There was no drama involved (in the breakup), just a commitment by Matthew to stay focused on his sobriety.”

Hell, in his 2022 memoir Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing, he even referred to her as “the ex-girlfriend of his dream.” Aw…

Matthew created his will in 2009 and named Lisa Ferguson and Robin Ruzan as co-executors of his $1 million trust, which is made up of his personal property and doesn’t include his fortune made from Friends and his memoir. Funny enough, he named it the Alvy Singer Living Trust after Woody Allen’s Annie Hall character. He also noted in the will that should he have any kids after 2009, they would not be granted access to his estate. But as we know, he never did…

We have a rare update today on a story from way back in 2014. In fact, it’s from exactly ten years ago.

For those who don’t know, Julia Roberts‘ sister Nancy Motes tragically died by suicide on February 9, 2014. At the time, word was she had written a lengthy note — and in it had basically blamed her movie star sister. A source told the NY Daily News that an EMT found a 5-page note in which there “were three pages of rantings that her sister drove her to do this.”

Important to note: Mental health experts advise mental illness is complex, and no one event or person should be seen as the cause for another’s suicide.

It was an awful thing to hear, but it did match what Nancy was saying online. She had infamously tweeted just four months earlier:

“So my ‘sister’ said that with all her friends & fans she doesn’t need anymore love. Just so you all know ‘America’s Sweetheart’ is a BITCH!!”

We can’t imagine having such a falling out with a sibling. After Nancy’s passing, her fiancé John Dilbeck seemed to be looking for peace, even if it was too late for his love. He put out a statement saying his late beloved really did love her family still:

“John Dilbeck and his extended family would like to express their heartfelt condolences to all of Nancy Motes’ family and friends. We loved her dearly and will miss her always. Please know that the words she wrote in online venues were those of someone in pain who loved her family and longed for a closer bond with them.”

But now he’s changed his tune. The years have apparently only made him feel more inclined to hold resentment toward Julia for what happened with Nancy.

In his part of the note — which was apparently a total of 13 pages, with some of it going directly to Julia and some directly to their mother Betty — Nancy did mention her disdain for her sister. She wrote in a section willing her earthly possessions to John:

“My mother and so-called ‘siblings’ get nothing except the memory that they are the ones that drove me into the deepest depression I’ve ever been in.”

Nancy’s death haunts John. Even 10 years later, time has not come close to healing this wound. He tells DailyMail.com on Friday:

“It feels like I’ve been trapped in a coma. Life kind of stopped, the whole world fell apart after her death. I never recovered. You know, I’ve never had another serious relationship. Even after ten years, I’m devastated. Nancy was the world to me. It’s a hole in my soul. I just feel so empty and incomplete without her. They say you’re really fortunate if you ever find one soulmate in a life and maybe that was it. I still try to be hopeful, but here we are a decade later. It doesn’t feel that long, it feels like a blur. Once Nancy died, the pieces never got back together. I never found another solution. My life was very much ruined because I thought that was my future.”

So sad…

Julia has never spoken about her sister’s death publicly. And less than a month afterward she was sharing her megawatt smile at the Oscars, taking part in Ellen DeGeneres‘ internet-breaking selfie.

Living 10 years with the contents of that note — and nothing from Julia to change his mind — he’s come to believe Nancy’s version of events. He says:

“The note makes it very clear how horrible and wretched Julia had tormented Nancy her whole life. It showed the despair Nancy felt. It’s so heartbreaking. Anyone could see why someone In Nancy’s position had been pushed so far that the only way to escape her torment was to take her own life. That’s clearly what Nancy believed.”

Now he believes Julia was to blame — and if she really is such a horrible human being, he assumed one day the other shoe would drop:

“So many people have been outed, the toxic stars, I’ve been waiting for Julia to fall, I felt like it was a matter of time. But now that story gets overshadowed by other scandalous events, which seem to happen on a weekly basis, we just move onto the next scandal.”

Maybe this interview is to step into that shoe and take the next step himself? He certainly expresses a deep pain:

“I still feel resentful, anger. The wound doesn’t go away, it doesn’t heal. I can’t even forgive Julia for all that she’s done, because she lives in a fantasy bubble, where she would just deny everything.”

Anyway, John continues:

“Nancy was made to look like some sort of drug addict that died of an overdose, which it turns out was never the case. The prescription medication was used by Nancy as a means to an end. Julia drove her into the deepest depression. But it’s a side of the story that’s kind of brushed off just like people don’t want to believe that Santa Claus isn’t real. At the time, Julia was the self-proclaimed American sweetheart – she is anything but.”

John claims he was banned from the funeral, that the family kept the location from him and threatened anyone else who told him. He says he learned later Julia gave a eulogy he thought was “harsh,” in which she said wanted to wring her sister’s neck “because she didn’t wait to see the joy that comes with the morning.” He doesn’t think it was right:

“I asked some friends afterwards what it was like, ‘Do you think that’s what Nancy would have wanted?’ And they all unanimously said, ‘Absolutely no, she would be appalled by it’. Everyone there said they felt very awkward especially when Julia got up to speak. It just adds insult to injury.”

He still thinks the other shoe is coming, explaining:

“But I believe she’s really got bad Karma coming. I’ve got to believe that somehow Karma has to get this woman. She is absolutely wretched.”

Wow. He really isn’t trying to keep any sort of peace anymore. Such a devastating story.
