Amber Portwood is likely about to be in BIG trouble with her probation officer…
Reports allege the Teen Mom OG star threatened a YouTuber who has been covering her split from Andrew Glennon, and the related domestic battery incident that got Amber into all this trouble in the first place. And now, if these threat allegations are for real, the reality TV star could be facing some serious prison time soon.

According to TMZ, Katie Joy — the woman behind the YouTube channel Without A Crystal Ball that has been documenting Amber’s recent legal run-ins — contacted the Marion County District Attorney’s Office and accused Amber of making threats. Apparently, the D.A. felt the situation serious enough to pass on directly to Amber’s probation officer, who is reportedly now reviewing the allegations.
Amber is being accused of going on Instagram Live and making thinly-veiled threats which Joy says are directed at her, including “I know your address,” and mentioning that an unnamed person “is going to get what she has coming to her.” Katie claims the Indiana mom is targeting her specifically because of the domestic battery coverage she has been posting to YouTube, which has included both video and audio of that infamous July domestic incident involving Portwood and Glennon. (BTW, you can watch a clip of Amber’s alleged IG Live threats HERE.)
Katie reportedly hasn’t filed an official police report yet, but only because she lives in Minnesota, and she’s not sure what law enforcement there can do about Amber’s alleged actions in Indiana. Still, sources close to the YouTuber are telling TMZ that she’s already receiving threats from Amber’s fans on social media, and she’s worried she could be attacked by one of the reality TV star’s supporters. Yeesh…
This whole thing could end really badly for Portwood, depending on how the probation officer views the alleged threats. As you’ll recall from the aftermath of the July domestic battery incident, Gary Shirley‘s ex copped to two felony charges in exchange for 906 days of probation — a remarkably light sentence, as we noted at the time. But if she’s found to actually be threatening Joy while on probation, the reality TV star runs the risk of serious consequences — and a judge could decide to send her to jail for the rest of her probationary period, or even longer.

We’re still a little ways away from that right now, as the probation officer apparently continues to review the case. No comment yet from Leah’s mom on this whole incident either, but we’ll update you as we continue to learn more about this entire situation.
Regardless, there are some serious accusations being thrown around here… talk about potentially making a bad situation even worse!
