Former MTV star Jenelle Evans has regained custody of her children again after more than a month apart.
Despite having her three children taken away from her by order of a North Carolina court more than a month ago, the former Teen Mom star has persevered and fought back to good, officially getting custody of her children back on Wednesday according to multiple reports in several outlets familiar with the matter.

As you’ll recall, back in late May, a North Carolina judge ruled that Evans and her husband, David Eason, could no longer have custody of their three children after Eason allegedly shot and violently killed the family dog when it nipped at Ensley, the pair’s two-year-old daughter.
Evans’ mother, Barbara, had already been caring for nine-year-old Jace, and was also given Ensley to look after in the temporary custody arrangement; five-year-old Kaiser spent time with his father Nathan Griffith‘s family after leaving Jenelle’s home.
But now, as of Wednesday afternoon, Jenelle and David have their whole family back together again — and Evans herself couldn’t be happier. In a video from North Carolina first obtained by Radar Online, the former Teen Mom reality TV star described herself as “very happy” with Wednesday’s court decision.
Furthermore, Evans spoke directly to Us Weekly about it, too, saying (below):
“I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids. Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent.”
Moving forward, indeed…
She further backed up that sentiment with a public tweet on the matter, as well, relaying some serious emotion as far as being able to reunite her family was concerned (below):

Clearly a VERY big day for Jenelle… and by extension, we’d imagine, for David!

It’s been a very long process for Jenelle and David to regain custody of their children, of course, and they’ve sustained multiple state investigations into Eason’s alleged killing of the French bulldog Nugget, as well as the pair’s home life and whether it’s suitable for children.
Now, though, it appears that the family will more or less return back to normal again… with all three children able to return to Jenelle, who has clearly missed them the entire time they’ve been gone.
