Star gymnast Natálie Štíchová was sadly declared dead last week after she plummeted down the side of a mountain in Germany. The young Czech athlete was reportedly in Bavaria when she stopped upon Tegelberg Mountain on August 15 to admire Neuschwanstein Castle — AKA the monument that inspired Disney‘s Sleeping Beauty. She was hiking with two of her friends and her boyfriend David when the unthinkable happened.

While trying to get a picturesque selfie with the famous castle, Natálie ended up losing her footing and falling down the mountain. Her friend, who wanted to remain anonymous, told German media the 23-year-old was standing close to the edge to try and get a good photo for her Instagram when “she fell from a height of about 262 feet”:

“We will never find out whether she slipped or whether a piece of the rock edge broke off.”

Oof. Even for a gymnast and avid hiker, it’s important to remember how dangerous cliffs can be. Don’t allow yourself to be so distracted over photos that you risk your life.

The poor girl… Heartbreakingly, she was taken off life support last Wednesday after doctors realized she’d sustained irreversible brain damage from the fall.

Natálie was a very popular figure in the gymnastics world back home in the Czech Republic, where she recently began training junior athletes herself. Her club, Sokol Pribram Sports Gymnastics, made a public statement after her tragic death, which read:

“With deep sorrow, we announce that our wonderful friend, gymnast, representative, and coach, Natálie Štíchová, has left us forever due to a tragic accident. She lost her fight for life on August 21 at 5.30am. Natálie spread smiles throughout her short life, and that is how we will remember her forever. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and close friends, sending them strength and support. To honour Natálie’s memory, you are welcome to light a candle at our gymnasium.”

The gymnast’s mother also added:

“There is no one who didn’t love her. Our Natálie was the sweetest person.”

What a tragedy. Our hearts go out to Natálie’s family and loved ones. May she rest in peace.

Travis Kelce‘s reunion with Taylor Swift didn’t last long, unfortunately. Early Monday morning, DailyMail.com broke the news the NFL star made a mad dash from the singer’s Rhode Island home after the lovely weekend they spent together. As we previously reported, the pair had a heck of a house party, full of their A-list friends as they celebrated Tay Tay finally finishing out her Eras Tour. With football season rapidly approaching, though, Trav had to take off back towards Kansas City after the little break.

He had a two hour flight to get back home, leaving plenty of time for him to get prepped for the ceremony.

Man, these two are so busy! We’re glad they’re not letting it keep them from seeing one another whenever they can! But man they are putting some miles on those jets!

As we’ve been reporting, the couple went down to the South American nation for a four-day, quasi-royal tour to see things there. But it wasn’t all fun and games, as some of the government’s critics are now pointing out. Instead, they are complaining about the cost the Colombian gov spent on hosting Harry and Meghan. And seriously, this is NOT chump change!!

According to a report published by Colombian news outlet CW Noticias, the four-day tour cost the country eight billion pesos in just security needs alone for Harry and Meghan!! That’s just a shade under $2 million USD. For just a four-day, unofficial tour with two people who aren’t even working members of the royal family! Damn!!

Broken down further per that CW Noticias report, the security needs for the Spare author and the Suits alum came down to finding the money to pay more than 3,000 police officers and soldiers to be staffed throughout the tour, as well as helicopters, bomb disposal units, bomb-sniffing dogs, around-the-clock armed guards near Harry and Meghan themselves, and bulletproof shields and other long-distance security measures to prevent possible sniper attacks.

Thankfully, as far as safety was concerned, the tour went off without a hitch. But from a financial perspective, it was a VERY steep bill for Colombia to cover. That’s half a million bucks a day!! And now, since the country’s vice president Francia Márquez is the one who invited Harry and Meghan down to the South American spot, she’s the one taking all the blame!

Andres Escobar, the security chief of the Colombian city of Cali where Harry and Meghan spent some time on their trip, took to X (Twitter) to make a public comment about the cost of the voyage. He accused Márquez of “squandering public money on her vanity,” and said that the cash spent on Harry and Meghan was “taxes spent on rich white people for photo opportunities and social media.” OUCH!! He continued:

“Billions that could have been used to expand coverage of children’s canteens, pay salaries of community mothers, seed capital for Afro communities or adapt sports venues practically in ruins.”

Then, when DailyMail.com asked him to expand upon that X message in an interview, Escobar added more complaints about the poor state Colombia finds itself in and the waste that came about with paying for Harry and Meghan to visit the nation:

“The country paid almost two million US dollars for the security of this trip and there are many, many Colombians who are hungry and have a lack of basic needs. They invested this money because the vice president wanted to meet two high profile public figures and brush aside criticism and problems that we have here through a corrupt government.”

He continued:

“We are in an economic crisis and eight billion pesos have been spent for the visit of Harry and Meghan, Colombian military planes and helicopters have been used and the money could have been better spent. Before this current government came to power they campaigned that they would save money and not waste it but they have done just the opposite with this visit.”

He also took the interview as an opportunity to slam VP Márquez for inviting Harry and Meghan to Colombia only after first seeing them on Netflix:

“The vice president asked them here because she saw them on Netflix. Can you believe that? How ridiculous. I can’t believe she said that. This country could have used the money to invest in our own infrastructure. We are in a bad way and money is wasted for this.”

The 29-year-old reality star told her followers on Instagram Stories Monday she experienced an airline passenger’s worst nightmare. She had $4,000 worth of her purses stolen from her suitcase while traveling to see Taylor Swift at Wembley Stadium in London! Oh no! She said:

“How I’m smiling still, I really don’t know. We’re on the way to [the] Taylor Swift [concert], it’s going to help. I’m missing about $4,000 worth of purses. Trying not to feel super violated right now. It’s been a very stressful trip. I really don’t know what to do about that.”

Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Hannah tried to remain “positive” and hoped the concert would cheer her up. She added in the caption:

Of course, it’s awful that her belongings were stolen. But come on, girl. All of that should have been brought onto the plane in a carry-on bag — especially if they were expensive items! We guess she knows better now and won’t make that mistake again. In another video, The Bachelorette alum noted she would have a “great time” at the show no matter what:

“It’s gonna be fun. Obviously we did not get our makeup done. We could not find anyone to do our hair and makeup.”

Cherilus, who is 40 years old, played as an offensive lineman for several teams in the pro football league from 2008 through 2017. And at one point, he was the highest-paid player at his position in the entire league! So, he was quite a well-known star during his playing days. But now, he’s becoming known for something much, much worse.

According to court docs obtained by Us Weekly and others on Monday, Cherilus was taken into custody at Boston’s Logan Airport on Saturday after causing a disturbance on the Delta flight to Dublin. The flight was already in the air, and was forced to turn around and go back to Logan so that cops could arrest the ex-NFL star.

The issue came about when Cherilus allegedly PEED ON ANOTHER PASSENGER in the middle of the overnight flight!! The disgusting act was (rightfully) enough to turn the plane around and return to Boston so that he could face arrest. According to TMZ, the former offensive lineman was confronted by officers on board the plane once it landed back in Boston. An insider told the outlet that Cherilus was “irate and uncooperative” with officers at being told to get off the flight and face arrest.

He eventually complied, and was booked into jail on charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing a flight crew. Per Boston 25 News, Delta quickly released a statement about the diverted flight and the arrest:

“Delta Flight 154 from Boston to Dublin on August 17 returned to Boston Logan due to an unruly customer and was met by law enforcement. Delta has zero tolerance for unlawful behavior and will cooperate with law enforcement to that end. We apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel.”

The rest of the passengers on the plane were rebooked on a Sunday flight, and arrived in Dublin on Monday morning — 24 hours after they were scheduled to get there. Annoying! But obvi, the real story here is Cherilus.

On Monday, he was arraigned on the aforementioned charges in East Boston District Court, and then released on $2,500 bail. He has been ordered to stay away from drugs and alcohol as his case is being processed, and was also told to stay away from the alleged victim and any airline travel prior to his next court date on October 11.

Late on Monday morning, he took to X (Twitter) and blamed the incident on taking “a sleeping medication that I don’t normally use” due to a lengthy flight delay leading up to the aborted trip to Dublin:

As we noted up top, Cherilus was a big star in the league for a long time. After the Detroit Lions drafted him in 2008, he played for them for three seasons before signing a $35 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts. That contract made him the highest-paid right tackle in football at the time. He played a few more years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well, before retiring in 2017. Currently, he owns a cannabis company in Boston along with former Lions teammates Calvin Johnson and Rob Sims.

Jeremy Madix, who Vanderpump Rules fans will remember for sometimes appearing alongside his famous reality TV sister on the hit Bravo show in the recent past, was picked up by federal agents at Orlando International Airport all the way back in February. Along with an accomplice, who TMZ identified on Saturday as Jonah Ahad, Jeremy had been scheduled to board a flight bound for Frankfurt, Germany on February 16.

That didn’t happen, though, because agents tracking his luggage stopped it before the suitcases could reach the plane, and they checked it for contraband. And what they found was weed. A LOT of weed!!

Per that TMZ report, which cited newly-available court documents never before seen by anyone prior to Saturday morning, Jeremy and Jonah reportedly had more than 100 pounds of pot in their luggage. The marijuana was split out across three different suitcases. Two of those bags allegedly belonged to Madix, and they had within them 64 wrapped bags of pot that totaled 76 pounds.

The third bag is said to have belonged to Ahad, and contained 31 wrapped packages of weed that tallied up to 37 pounds. Between the two of them, that is a ton of ganja! Exactly 101 pounds of it!

Damn!!

As to be expected, the duo never even got past the security checkpoint at the airport before the weed was discovered. Officials from Customs and Border Protection searched and then seized the pair’s suitcases. That’s some serious alleged smuggling that the CBP folks thwarted! A hundred-plus pounds is no joke.

But interestingly, neither man was arrested on the spot when the weed was recovered. Huh?!?! TMZ noted in their Saturday morning report that they are trying to figure out why there were no arrests made, with inquiries sent to the Orlando Police Department, but a reason for not making the arrests right then and there hasn’t yet been forthcoming.

Still, both men were eventually nabbed and booked into jail. Ahad was busted back in May, and charged with felony trafficking in cannabis. And Ariana’s brother was taken into custody last Tuesday on the same charge. Hence, that’s why this report is only coming out now, as his applicable court documents were only first filed days ago, even though the alleged act occurred six months ago. Crazy!

Last we reported earlier this year, Ariana hadn’t spoken to Jeremy in months, and the duo was more or less estranged at that time. So, who knows if this was even on her radar before the arrest. Bebe Rexha says she was the victim of a so-called “hate crime” at Munich International Airport in Germany. The singer-songwriter posted multiple videos and images on Saturday morning in which she was seen sobbing and crying very aggressively. It’s not entirely clear what happened, but Rexha also uploaded a message to her Instagram Stories indicating that she’d been threatened by a Lufthansa Airlines supervisor and a security employee at the airport, and banned from a flight.

The issue, according to the singer at least, was that she apparently spoke Albanian to one of the airport security guards because she thought he’d been speaking in Albanian to her. That move, she alleged, quickly led to a tense and emotional confrontation with airport staff members.

Yikes…

In her first of several videos and IG Stories uploads on the matter, Rexha stated through tears:

“The supervisor for the flight on Lufthansa is threatening me.”

She then posted a second video in quick succession. That one was a just a several-second clip of her crying, with her makeup smeared down her face during what was clearly a very emotional time:

Following that, she uploaded a brief but slightly more involved explanation of what she claims happened at the Munich Airport.

According to her, security personnel moved to “mentally abuse” her, with one man using his power over to and nobody else stepping in to say anything. Even worse, when she went to get his name to report the incident, he wouldn’t provide it for her:

She later re-posted an IG Stories message from another account demanding that Lufthansa immediately look into the situation and figure out what’s going on:

Bebe, in case you didn’t know, learned Albanian when she was a kid because her father is from North Macedonia — a Balkan country in which people speak both Macedonian and Albanian. Her mother also has Albanian roots.
