The Oscar winner stars in the upcoming movie Lee as real-life photographer Lee Miller, who worked as a war correspondent for Vogue during World War II. For the role, Kate told Harper’s Bazaar UK on Tuesday she stopped exercising before the film so her body would look “authentically soft” for the period. Sounds like she put a lot of work into this! Well, if not working out is work… Let’s say she put a lot of care into it. But not everyone got the memo!

While filming a scene where she had to wear a bikini, with her body on display, you won’t believe what a crew member dared to say to her! They actually urged the Titanic star to “sit up” straight to try to conceal her “belly rolls!” Yes, really! Kate recalled:

“There’s a bit where Lee’s sitting on a bench in a bikini… And one of the crew came up between takes and said: ‘You might want to sit up straighter.’”

What the f**k. However, the Oscar winner was not about covering up her stomach just so she looked more flattering on camera in their eyes! She fired back at the crew member:

“‘So you can’t see my belly rolls? Not on your life!’ It was deliberate, you know?”

Good for Kate for sticking up for herself! But do we honestly expect anything less from The Holiday alum? She’s always advocated for body positivity, especially after years of criticism she faced as a young adult over her looks. We mean, she got bodyshamed over her nude scene in Titanic ffs, the movie where she may be the most beautiful anyone has ever been in a film!

All the “bullying” about her body did get to her at one point, but nowadays? She ignores it. When asked if she cared about looking “less-than-perfect” on camera, Kate said:

“The opposite. I take pride in it because it is my life on my face, and that matters. It wouldn’t occur to me to cover that up.”

You may recall she had a similar issue just a couple years ago while filming Mare of Easttown. When she learned the director was trying to edit around her “bulgy bit of belly” in a sex scene — ostensibly for her vanity — she fought back and insisted it be seen!

And the desire for realness extends to the wrinkles on her face, too! No one will push her to get any cosmetic work! She continued:

“I think people know better than to say, ‘You might wanna do something about those wrinkles.’ I’m more comfortable in myself as each year passes. It enables me to allow the opinions of others to evaporate.”

What’s also helped her reach that point? Kate noted she feels women started to move into a positive and less judgmental direction when it comes to how they view their own bodies:

“I do feel a huge sense of relief that women are so much more accepting of themselves and refusing to be judged. Because I don’t know a single contemporary of mine who grew up seeing her mother looking in the mirror and saying: ‘I look nice!’ My mother never did: it was always, ‘Oh God, I don’t think I can wear this, do I look hippy, does my bum look big?’ We waste so much time being down on ourselves and I’m just not doing it ever again.”

Yes, Kate!!

The Kardashians star looked amazing! And what made the gown extra special? Kendall claimed to Vogue that she was the “first human” to wear the vintage item as it was never shown on the runway and only displayed on a mannequin before. Thus, the dress was “literally a sleeping beauty” and more on theme than most.

However, the model apparently didn’t have her facts straight, as fashion buffs claimed on social media! They soon discovered someone else actually wore the same dress years ago! Who? What’s the truth about the archival Givenchy dress, though? Was Kenny really the first person to wear it? At the time, Page Six Style said the 28-year-old reality star was correct. The outlet explained Winona only had a replica of the garment for the Flaunt shoot. But now, the Beetlejuice star herself disputed the report — and called BS on what Kendall said! She insisted in a new cover story with Harper’s Bazaar that she “did wear” the original, saying:

“I heard about that. I do remember that photo shoot. It was with my dear friend [and makeup artist] Kevyn Aucoin. And I did wear it. I have pictures. The photographer gave me some prints. I’m in a tartan in one of them, and I’m in that dress.”

Hmm. Perhaps Kendall was just misinformed! She could have actually meant the outfit was never worn out in public before by anyone else! Obviously, mistakes happen! Or is there a chance Winona was wearing a replica, and she just never knew? Who knows?! We need Kendall or Givenchy to weigh in on the matter now to give us the answers once and for all! End the dress debate of 2024, finally! LOLz!

So, it is an understatement to say it’s tough for Tom Brady‘s ex to lay low. Doesn’t mean she’s not trying, though!

Harper’s Bazaar just dropped their February 2024 cover story on Wednesday, and the Brazilian-born bombshell is the star! She’s doing her damnedest to stay FAR away from any gossip related to her split from the former New England Patriots signal-caller. While she didn’t openly talk Tom in the Harper’s chat, the sub-text is VERY clear. For one, in Wednesday’s longform interview reveal, Gisele says:

“I can’t really worry about what other people say about me because what they say about me is none of my business. It’s really their business that they’re trying to project onto me.”

Uh-huh…

The mom of two — Gisele shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with Brady — went on to reveal how she tries to live for herself and her loved ones instead of the outside world:

“If I’m going to be affected by that, I’m never going to live my truth. … When you’re trying to be this person who tries to please and tries to be accepted and tries to get that from the outside world, you’re never going to be truly who you are.”

That’s good advice! Gotta live for yourself and the people who care about you and depend on you. The chattering crowd can go kick rocks! Of course, that’s also easier said than done. Especially when you’re as famous as Gisele!!

And while Tom’s name never crossed her lips in the Harper’s chat, Bündchen did allude to working through some co-parenting uncertainties with the 46-year-old former gridiron great after their divorce. Speaking about Benjamin and Vivian’s lives as they hit their teenage years, Gisele said that she regularly offers up this piece of advice to them:

“[Gisele tells her kids], ‘the way you make your room, the way you organize and make your bed is the way you’re going to do your life. If you’re not learning here and now, then when and with who?'”

Then, she added:

“You are where you come from. All those things that I learned as a kid are things that are in me. It doesn’t change. In many ways, it’s also what kept me safe, because my value system was so strong.”

But when she’s trying to impart her values on her little ones, well, let’s just say the message doesn’t always stick. In a possibly shady and super-subtle dig at Tom, the Brazilian star explained how she sometimes gets “pushback” from the kids now that they are splitting their time between two different homes and “two different ways” of doing things:

“Sometimes, I get pushback, especially because now they’re in two different homes and there are two different ways. But I feel like I owe it [passing on life lessons] to my kids, because of what my mom taught me.”

Hmmm…

Is that “two different homes” thing meant to shade Tom?!?! It kinda sounds like she’s saying he doesn’t live up to her values! Right?

Of course, even in the best of times, co-parenting can be a tricky and imperfect balance! We just hope for her family’s sake and her own mindset that Gisele keeps tuning out the public comments droning endlessly around her. And we also wonder if she’s been able to tune out the most recent reports around Tom and Irina Shayk. It never ends!!

“I love really hard, and I love without apology. I don’t like goodbyes, and I will fight to not have to say goodbye. I will always fight for relationships. I’ve been that way since I was little, although I was shy and sometimes very closed off.”

She added that as she grows older, life’s lessons only help to serve her role in relationships:

The Oscar winner and her estranged husband announced back in March that they made the “difficult decision” to end their marriage after 11 years. The news came as a shock to fans, who never heard about difficulties between the two.

But for Reese? Going public was surprisingly freeing. The main thing she realized was how good it felt to finally be in control of the narrative — something she didn’t feel during her first divorce with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. The Legally Blonde star opened up about her breakup with Jim for the first time in an interview for the August 2023 Performance Issue of Harper’s Bazaar. And she had a LOT to say about breaking up in the spotlight:

“It’s interesting what happened to me. When I was divorced before, the tabloid media got to tell people how I was feeling or how I was processing, and it felt very out of control. To be able to talk to people directly about what’s going on in my life and just share it in the way that I share great professional experiences or personal experiences, it feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let somebody else control what’s happening.”

One of the best things about social media is the ability to get your own words out there. Clearly it helped Reese!

Obviously, there still has been a lot of talk surrounding her breakup and love life. Does anyone else remember the rumors she was moving on with Tom Brady? Or that an alleged midlife crisis and infidelity may have been the reason for her split with Jim? Not even Reese can escape rumors surrounding her divorce! Fortunately, she’s not going through this time in her life alone. The Morning Show star told the outlet that she’s felt “very connected” to other people ever since she and Jim announced their divorce:

“I think about how many other people are going through this experience. I don’t feel isolated at all.”

That’s great to hear! A silver lining of divorce being so common is it’s definitely viewed with far less disdain and more compassion than ever before. Society now realizes marriage don’t always work, and it can be healthier to end things.

Besides, at this point in her life? Reese has reached the “I don’t care” phase in her life! She told the outlet that she’s not wasting her “precious time” concerned about other things that don’t matter — including certain career milestones or the public’s perception of her:

“I think you start to realize there’s a finite amount of time that you have to accomplish what you want to accomplish in this world and that worrying about other people’s opinions of you is a waste of your precious time. It’s a liberation in your 40s to feel free of other people’s opinions. I mean, they’re always there. They just don’t matter as much to you, and it’s a great feeling.”

She was, we’re certain, trying to share a message about body positivity. But as in all cases, sometimes you just have to consider the messenger…

When gurl talked about keeping her confidence as she toiled away, despite the naysayers who didn’t think she measured up, she said boldly:

“I’ve never really [cared about] people’s opinions, even early in my modeling career, when they were like: ‘Oh my God, she doesn’t really look like a model. She’s not skinny, she’s too sexy, she’s never going to be a model.'”

Not skinny?? Just to be clear, this was Irina in 2010, at the time she was just hitting it big.

Obviously modeling jobs have their own stringent body requirements, and we don’t doubt Irina was turned down for jobs. But when the glaring flaw she comes up with when talking about what held her back was being considered “too sexy,” yeah, it’s kind of giving Gretchen Weiners, “I’m sorry that people are so jealous of me” vibes.

Again, she is talking ultimately about body positivity and being yourself. She added that she would get asked to diet for jobs — and refused:

“I was always like: ‘No, I’m not going to do that. I’m not going to lose 10 pounds.”

Good for her! Really!

“My entire life has been so public. I’ve never had anything for myself. We decided that we wanted to have this whole experience to ourselves.”

They ended up telling the world and her family about their new bundle of joy two days later when they realized the news would be leaked. Paris soon took to Instagram to post a picture of herself holding her baby’s hand, writing in the announcement:

“You are already loved beyond words.”

Awww!!!

Moving forward, Paris said she wants to do everything she could to keep her son safe:

“I want to protect him and to be with him every second. You have this mother instinct that kicks in, which I’ve never had before. I feel so complete now.”

While Paris and Carter haven’t revealed any more details about their child, she seems to be already loving motherhood so far. She shared with the outlet that she’s even been singing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and “the acoustic version” of her 2006 hit song Stars Are Blind. So sweet! In fact, Paris has been loving motherhood so much that she noted she already wants more kids and recently completed her seventh egg retrieval:

After nearly three years together, the couple is officially broken up. The Black Widow star revealed the sad news in a new cover story with Harper’s Bazaar out on Tuesday — sharing that they split earlier this year! While it’s unclear exactly when the duo parted ways, Florence shared they purposefully tried to keep things under wraps for as long as possible because of how controversial their relationship — with a 21-year age gap — was in the first place.

The 26-year-old told the magazine:

“We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on. We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together.”

Makes sense! And we’re sure it was nice to get over the first phase of the heartbreak in private, too! No matter how much time has passed since they broke up, it’s clear Florence is still emotional about the split. She shared:

Though don’t expect this to be the last you see of them! In true Hollywood fashion, before the couple split up, they filmed a new movie together! Written and directed by the 47-year-old, A Good Person is a film about a young woman who has to pick up the pieces of her life after a sudden tragedy. It’ll be out sometime next year, and while Zach doesn’t appear to be acting in it, we’d think a premiere and promo could force them to reunite again. While we have to imagine the release is going to be awkward as hell (remember Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas’ Deep Water?!), the making of the movie was actually a great experience for Florence:

“The movie that we made together genuinely was probably one of my most favorite experiences. It felt like a very natural and easy thing to do.”

Not everything about her relationship with Braff was easy, though.

At the time, the 52-year-old was still grieving the loss of her longtime friend and publicist Nanci Ryder, who passed away in June 2020 after battling ALS for nearly six years. Renée wanted to show her appreciation for the two nurses — twin brothers Jerome Cowan and Jerald Cowan — who took care of Ryder right before her death. After watching the HGTV show, Zellweger decided to sign up for the spinoff series Celebrity IOU: Joyride to honor the two healthcare workers – which ended up being hosted by Anstead.

Her tribute to her late friend brought her to a new chapter in her life! Amazing!

The rest, as they say, was history. The episode was filming in June 2021. The Cowan brothers received some stunning classic cars — a 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass and vintage Bronco — and Renée got a new boyfriend! She and Ant started dating soon after spending some time together while filming the episode. And nearly a year later, the pair are seemingly still going strong, already having made their love Instagram official and attended their first event together.

When asked in the interview if Zellweger believes her pal Nanci might have had something to do with bringing them together, she revealed she absolutely thinks her friend is still helping her out, saying:

“Yeah, we do joke about that. She’s always doing her best. It made me smile. It made me smile to think on this, yeah, the serendipity of it all.”

It is certainly a sad, yet also beautiful story of how their relationship began.

Previously, the Wheeler Dealers alum opened up to People about their chance meeting, expressing gratitude for how the show brought them together:

“Everyone knows that Renee and I are dating. I’m really grateful to the show because these amazing things happen in your world and sometimes when things collide, they collide at the most obscure times when you least expect them. And that’s what happened in this case. I’m grateful for that.”

Now we know what the “when you least expect them” sentiment was all about!
