Céline Dion is back, y’all!
Amid a long road battling Stiff Person Syndrome and having to step back from the spotlight, the iconic songstress is set to make her BIG return to music this weekend! TMZ reported on Tuesday that the My Heart Will Go On singer will officially perform at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony on Friday! How exciting for fans — and we’re sure for her, too, as she’s been so dedicated to returning to the stage!

But don’t be mistaken… It’s not going to be a full-blown concert, and she’s not just doing it for the sake of getting back up on stage. Sources told the outlet that she’ll only be performing one song. And for that single track, she’s getting paid a whopping $2 MILLION!!!
OMFG!
The sources also reported that on top of her fee, organizers coughed up a “ton” more for travel arrangements for her and her family, boats, and other luxurious things. The source said:
“They’re paying a ton of money. Ridiculous amount.”
It’s worth it for Céline! As for the singer herself, she’s reportedly “feeling fine” ahead of the ceremony, per that insider. We sure hope so, and we can’t wait to watch!
