If you haven’t kept up with the drama online, here’s the deal. Last year, screenshots of the 23-year-old TikTok star repeatedly using the N-word on the website ASKfm back in 2014 appeared on the “Alix Earle Snark” page on Reddit. However, it wasn’t until a year later, when the posts resurfaced on TikTok and other subreddits this month, that Alix started facing a ton of backlash online.

What made the whole situation worse? Not only did she remain silent on the offensive comments when the controversy started, but she allegedly trademarked them to stop others from continuing to share them! Yeah, you read that correctly. According to two podcasters, Alix TRADEMARKED her posts using a racial slur! What the f**k.

Jessi Smiles and Lily Marston claimed in their Do We Know Them? podcast earlier this month that the content creator’s legal team accused them of violating their copyright when screenshots of her racist posts popped up in their subreddit — which they do not own or moderate. Jessi explained:

“Her lawyer contacted us and said that we have violated their copyright. People posted screenshots of [her racist posts] in our subreddit, and her lawyer said that they have a trademark to that. We don’t moderate it, we don’t have any access to it.”

In what world does someone think it was OK to trademark that?! Especially when that same person hadn’t even apologized or at least said something about their problematic comments at that time! What a disgusting move. Watch the podcast episode (below):

Now, after weeks of silence, Alix is speaking out about the controversy in a statement posted to her Instagram Stories on Monday. First off, Braxton Berrios’ girlfriend admitted she DID use the racial slur multiple times and apologized for the “hurt” she caused. She wrote:

“A couple of weeks ago, screenshots surfaced from my old ask.fm account showing me using a slur in the summer of 2014. I am taking accountability and want to make it clear that I was 13 years old and did not understand the deeply offensive meaning behind that word. That is no excuse for using that word in any context or at any age. That is absolutely not the way I speak or what I stand for. I am deeply sorry that my words have hurt many and have led people to believe that I have any prejudice in my heart. I promise you that could not be further from the truth. My platform has always focused on positivity, entertainment, and uplifting others, and will continue to do so. I am sincerely sorry to those I have offended.”

As for why she took so long to address the scandal? Alix claimed she received bad “advice” not to say anything:

“I regret how I handled this situation, allowing too many people to talk me out of saying something for too long. I wasn’t sure how to handle it and unfortunately the advice I was given, although well intended, was wrong. There is no one to blame but myself for not standing my ground and going with my gut to speak right away. In the absence of my addressing this, my silence allowed others to fill the void with rumors that simply aren’t true.”

As we mentioned, one of those claims was that she trademarked her older posts. However, Alix insisted that part is “absolutely ridiculous and untrue.” Hmm. She continued:

“Another is that a brand announced they are no longer working with me, even though we have never been in conversations with them about a partnership in any capacity. Regardless of what’s being said online, I wanted to come on here to address the facts and most importantly apologize.”

After the statement dropped, Jessi and Lily addressed her claim that she never trademarked her posts — with receipts. They told Variety on Monday night:

“While we cannot speak to the legitimacy or existence of any trademarks or copyrights, we can confirm that we received an email from an entity identifying itself as WEB SHERIFF. This entity claimed to act as the rights agent for Alix Earle, and had written the email to notify us of 11 different alleged infringements and violations. The email was signed by John E. Henehan LL.B., who asserted under penalty of perjury that he is ‘either the intellectual property rights owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owners of the exclusive rights that are allegedly infringed.’”

The two continued:

“The email referenced a user created post on a fan-run subreddit for our podcast, a page over which we have no authorship or control. The post in question, linked within the email, featured screenshots of Earle’s unfavorable past comments on AskFM, which had already been circulating online. The email purports that this post is guilty of a laundry list of violations including but not limited to Copyright Infringement, Human Rights Violations, and Proceeds of Crime and Money Laundering Violations. It’s important to note that we received this notice despite every post on the subreddit featuring a clearly visible disclaimer stating that we are in no way affiliated with the subreddit or any of its content. In fact, we were unaware of the existence of the post in question prior to receiving this email notification.”

Jessi and Lily went on to point out that the email potentially “was sent without her knowledge or authorization,” adding:

“If that is the case, while unfortunate and out of her control, it would certainly be in her best interest to clarify that to set the record straight.”

Bebe Rexha says she was the victim of a so-called “hate crime” at Munich International Airport in Germany. The singer-songwriter posted multiple videos and images on Saturday morning in which she was seen sobbing and crying very aggressively. It’s not entirely clear what happened, but Rexha also uploaded a message to her Instagram Stories indicating that she’d been threatened by a Lufthansa Airlines supervisor and a security employee at the airport, and banned from a flight.

The issue, according to the singer at least, was that she apparently spoke Albanian to one of the airport security guards because she thought he’d been speaking in Albanian to her. That move, she alleged, quickly led to a tense and emotional confrontation with airport staff members.

Yikes…

In her first of several videos and IG Stories uploads on the matter, Rexha stated through tears:

“The supervisor for the flight on Lufthansa is threatening me.”

She then posted a second video in quick succession. That one was a just a several-second clip of her crying, with her makeup smeared down her face during what was clearly a very emotional time:

Following that, she uploaded a brief but slightly more involved explanation of what she claims happened at the Munich Airport.

According to her, security personnel moved to “mentally abuse” her, with one man using his power over to and nobody else stepping in to say anything. Even worse, when she went to get his name to report the incident, he wouldn’t provide it for her:

She later re-posted an IG Stories message from another account demanding that Lufthansa immediately look into the situation and figure out what’s going on:

Bebe, in case you didn’t know, learned Albanian when she was a kid because her father is from North Macedonia — a Balkan country in which people speak both Macedonian and Albanian. Her mother also has Albanian roots.

As for Lufthansa, one of their reps told TMZ that they are in direct contact with Bebe right now and trying to get the full story.

Of course, we’ll see what ends up coming from this. But clearly, she is extremely emotional and extremely upset in those videos. Ugh. Sending love and light to Bebe during what sounds like a REALLY unfortunate and difficult and unacceptable travel day. Not cool!!

As we’ve been following, the Olympic gymnast was controversially stripped of her bronze medal in the women’s individual floor exercise earlier this month. Romania’s Ana Barbosu was initially announced as the winner, but Team USA’s coach Cecile Landi filed an inquiry into the difficulty of one of Jordan’s moves. Judges ultimately agreed Landi, bumping Jordan’s score from 13.666 to 13.766, moving her from fifth place to third — meaning she got the bronze medal instead of Barbosu. But the following day, Team Romania filed their own inquiry, arguing Team USA filed their request beyond the 60-second time limit imposed on the final floor exercise competitor, according to the “FIG rule.” The Court Of Arbitration For Sport reviewed Romania’s inquiry, agreed with that one, too — and subsequently stripped Jordan of the medal, reinstating it to Ana. And despite irrefutable video evidence the decision was wrong, Team USA’s appeal was denied.

Amid all the controversy, a devastated Jordan said she was “removing” herself from social media. But she’s back, and has some heartbreaking words.

On Thursday, the 23-year-old returned to Instagram to share a lengthy message:

“I am overwhelmed by the love I have received over the past few days. I am also incredibly grateful to my family, teammates, coaches, fans, USAG and the USOPC for their unwavering support during this difficult time. While celebrating my Olympic accomplishments, I heard the devastating news that my bronze medal had been stripped away. I had confidence in the appeal brought by USAG, who gave conclusive evidence that my score followed all the rules. This appeal was unsuccessful. I have no words. This decision feels unjust and comes as a significant blow, not just to me, but to everyone who has championed my journey.”

It was a historic moment in Olympics history, as Jordan, alongside Simone Biles and Rebeca Andradade, made up the first-ever all-Black Olympics gymnastics podium. But that moment in history has sadly been overshadowed by “racially driven attacks,” according to Jordan:

“To add to the heartbreak, the unprompted racially driven attacks on social media are wrong and extremely hurtful. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this sport and I am so proud to represent my culture and my country. I will never waver from my values of competing with integrity, striving for excellence, upholding the values of sportsmanship and the rules that dictate fairness. I have taken pride in cheering on everyone regardless of team or country. Finding joy again has been a culture shift and I love seeing others embrace it. I feel like I have given everyone permission to be authentic to who they are.”

So sad!

Finally, the gymnast concluded:

“I am now confronted with one of the most challenging moments of my career. Believe me when I say that I have had many. I will approach this challenge as I have others –- and will make every effort to ensure that justice is done. I believe that at the end of this journey, the people in control will do the right thing.”

So wrong on so many levels… It should go without saying, but Kamala was born to an Indian mother and a Jamaican father. A person can be more than one thing — like how Trump is a convicted fraudster AND an accused rapist.

TONS of angry social media users flooded his replies expressing condemn the tasteless post, including his former Hercules: The Legendary Journeys co-star.

In since-deleted posts, Lucy sarcastically defended him by recalling an absolutely HORRIFIC comment he allegedly made regarding the O.J. Simpson/Nicole Brown Simpson murder case. She wrote on Friday:

“In his defense, I personally witnessed a time when Kevin Sorbo stuck up for a black man against white people.”

Oh? She continued:

“The NZ summer, Feb 1995 when my character, #Xena was introduced into my husband’s show, Hercules the Legendary Journeys. We actors were sitting around and I bought up a news item. I said, ‘Guys, did you guys hear about that woman and her friend who were brutally murdered in LA? I think maybe the footballer did it!’”

Referring to Kevin as “Peanut,” she continued:

“And Peanut growled: ‘Hey! I knew Nicole and let me tell you… she was no picnic!’ BOOM.’”

WHOA?!?!

Lucy added:

“We were all gobsmacked. I said, ‘She didn’t deserve to be stabbed to death. He replied, ‘I’m just saying, She was a piece of work.’”

WTF! What an incredibly senseless and downright disgusting thing to say! You literally hear about a woman being murdered by her ex, and you think, good riddance, she was ‘no picnic’??

She added:

“It stuck in my mind because those Americanisms were unusual to us. But we knew what he meant. #DontGetMeStarted!”

In a post that’s still up on her page, she added afterward:

According to WABC, Shohel Mahmud picked up Jennifer Guilbeault and her friend on West 46th Street in New York City on the night of Friday, August 4. What started as a peaceful ride took a terrifying turn, though. A dash cam video of the incident showed that Guilbeault suddenly lunged forward from the backseat and started spraying the unsuspecting driver in the eyes – seemingly for no reason. While the woman grabbed Mahmud’s arm and continued to spray him, he tried to get out of the car as fast as possible but struggled since his seat belt was on.

Meanwhile, her pal sat in the backseat stunned and horrified at what went down. She can be heard repeatedly saying in the video:

“Jen, what the f**k?”

Guilbeault also is heard saying, “Get him out,” at one point before she exits the vehicle to stand on the street. Watch the horrific video (below):

Jeez! Police arrested and charged Guilbeault with assault. Per The New York Post, cops said she was hit with a desk appearance ticket and will appear in court at an unknown date. Law enforcement is not investigating the attack as a hate crime. However, Mahmud knows, without a doubt, that what happened here was an alleged hate crime. He recalled to the outlet that he picked up the women in Midtown and did not say one word to them before the attack:

“They are talking to each other. I’m not talking to them, my job is to drive them. I start going straight down the Central Park Traverse, straight down to 65th and Lexington. Suddenly, this girl for no reason spray me with pepper spray.”

At first, the driver thought the woman wanted to steal his car and phone when the attack started and jumped out. However, he soon realized the vehicle was still moving, so he got back inside to turn it off — where Guilbeault continued to pepper spray him. When her friend confronted her about why she did what she did, Mahmud claimed Guilbeault said it was because of his skin color:

“Her friend, she is yelling, ‘Jen, Jen, what the f**k, what are you doing? What’s going on?’ Her friend is asking ‘Why did you do that?’ And she says, ‘He’s brown.’”

He continued:

“I mean this is totally ridiculous. I do nothing and she spray me. Pepper spray is illegal. She assault a driver for no reason. This is a hate crime.”

But as we mentioned, police aren’t treating this incident as such. WTF. Mahmud also told WABC on Monday that “the burning lasted” for “two hours” after the attack. Watch the interview (below):

Following the attack, a spokesperson for the rideshare company told the outlet:

“The rider’s actions shown in the video are deplorable. Violence is not tolerated, and the rider has been banned from the Uber platform. We will support police in their investigation however we can.”

Guilbeault seemingly was fired from her job at D. Pagan Communications after she faced backlash on social media. Before limiting their comments on all their platforms, the firm posted on X (Twitter):

“We are aware of the behavior of this former employee and we don’t condone this behavior.”

Agency president Debra Pagan then confirmed to PRWeek that she no longer is an employee at the firm but did not specify when she left. What happened to Mahmud is awful. Reactions, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments.

On Wednesday, controversial right-wing pundit Candace Owens dropped a bombshell interview with the Vultures 2 rapper which was filmed all the way back in 2022 — and features some pretty jarring admissions on Ye’s end. Or should we say excuses?

In it, he was talking about THAT infamous antisemitic post the father of four put out on X (Twitter) the same year. You remember, right?! The one where he said he was going to go “death con 3 on Jewish people”?? Yeah, that one. While addressing the controversy, he admitted:

“I definitely was drinking when I put up the ‘death con’ tweet. You want to know what alcohol I had inside me? Hennessy. It turns us gray. The demons [come out].”

Uhhhh, is he really trying to use that as an excuse?? Because we’re pretty sure when other people drink they stumble around and slur their words — not praise the atrocities of Adolf Hitler.

The Candace podcast host then asked him why he didn’t fess up to that earlier, and the Hurricane rapper said probably the worst thing he could have… That he didn’t want to “discredit” the “fact of what [he] was saying or what [he] was about to do.”

So he’s NOT even trying to use alcohol as an excuse to apologize?? He actually just doubled down on his twisted ideals! JFC, we can’t believe this guy. Well, maybe we can because he has a proven track record. But at the same time it’s SO hard to even comprehend that someone would say such hateful things!

The athlete proved her GOAT status with two gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, putting her at nine — the highest ever for a US competitor in her sport. That’s huge! But it’s also given her the confidence to clap back at everyone!

First there was former competitor Mykayla Skinner, who bashed the Team USA gymnastics roster as lazy and untalented. Simone put that hater in her place by captioning a pic of the team with their medals:

“lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions.”

SNAP! But she wasn’t done!

She also took a moment to rag on Donald Trump, who on the other end of the spectrum is giving maybe the worst performance of his political career this week. For those who didn’t see, he chose to do an interview with three Black female journalists at the convention of the National Association of Black Journalists in Chicago on Wednesday.

The journalists actually asked him about his horrid past comments, as well as his current positions on important matters — and it’s about damn time someone did. Really, just asking him to enunciate his policy positions was like pulling teeth, as it seemed he only had talking points for rallies. He had no knowledge of the Sonya Massey murder case despite his promise to give cops immunity, he didn’t seem to know what D.E.I. means, etc.

Despite many times on the campaign trail claiming immigrants were taking “Black jobs,” when asked what that means, he immediately buckled and said he just meant any jobs. Pfft. Probably because he really did mean something by it. Like, say, the racist dog whistle that “Black jobs” are lower stature, lower paying jobs. Manual labor and the service industry. That’s what he actually meant, right? He just suddenly knew he didn’t have the audience for that particular stereotyping.

But Black women are not letting him forget! Simone certainly isn’t! She once again rubbed her success in the face of someone who thinks of her as lesser. Reposting a tweet in which singer Ricky Davila pointed out “being the GOAT” and “dominating gymnastics” was her “Black job” she wrote:

“I love my black job”

It turns out Trump’s running mate talked crap four years ago, complaining about how everyone was praising her for being “weak” by stepping back from the Tokyo games. This was when she had “the twisties” and knew it would be dangerous for her to continue to compete. His quote resurfaced amid her victory.

In Season 6, Episode 12 of the hit sitcom, titled “Scott’s Tots,” Michael Scott “realizes that he cannot keep a decade-old promise to pay college tuition for several children,” per the description. He has to break the news to a room full of mostly Black students. It’s truly painful to watch. In a terrible twist of fate, this exact plot line is playing out now for a bunch of Chicago kids!

According to WBEZ Chicago on Wednesday, the Schuler Scholars program has abruptly shut down — leaving tons of students with a last-minute financial issue just weeks before the school year begins.

The program was founded by (former) billionaire Jack Schuler, a healthcare investor and former Abbott Laboratories executive, and his daughter over two decades ago to help send low-income and first-generation Chicago kids to college. But last month Jack sent an email to the program’s participants announcing he will no longer be funding their education!

Marcus Jackson, a participant, told the outlet:

“I’m just kind of at a loss for words. I just hope something can be done so that everyone can stay in school and not have to be in debt the rest of [their lives].”

He added:

“Because nobody asked for this. We all put in the work … We literally did what we’re supposed to do.”

Hundreds of students were promised $2,500 a year plus thousands more to cover health insurance. While an email announcing the end of the program included an apology, according to Jackson, it wasn’t enough to make up for this horrible situation, he said:

“That doesn’t make me feel any better. It doesn’t pay the bills. It definitely doesn’t send us through school.”

And when you realize what the kids went through to get this scholarship, it makes it so much s**ttier!!

So why is this happening? Well, former employees claimed Jack has been struggling financially. Reportedly, his estimated personal wealth has dropped from $1.1 billion to $200 million — that’s still a lot of money, though! Just not enough that he wants to give any of it away anymore. Earlier this year, the Schuler family laid off almost all of their scholarship program staff and started winding down operations, even though in May they were telling everyone things would be fine.

Robert Kelchen, who researches higher education funding at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, explained how the kids picked out colleges based on the promise of the scholarship:

“This affected where they went. And [the Schulers] were telling students in May they’ll get the money and then they changed their mind in July — that’s where it’s really devastating. … If they knew months ago, there’s a chance that colleges could have helped them, but that money has all been given out.”

Jackson reflected:

“If I was in a position of power, like Mr. Schuler, and I was promising all these kids all these things, I would hope I could just stay true to my word.”

Robert also noted how strange it is for a scholarship program to end so suddenly and without honoring those already receiving money — going so far as to say the students would have been better off NEVER SIGNING UP for the program. Wow.

And, btw, the students had to do a lot more than just fill out an application senior year in hopes of securing some cash for their upcoming schooling. This was practically a full-time job!

In exchange for counseling, tutoring, and help to pay tuition, high school students had to sign a contract promising to fulfill a long list of requirements and live under the watchful eye of the program in order to secure their financing. Stephany Flores, a rising junior at Pomona College in California, dished:

“We gave ourselves to this organization for four years, with some of us even compromising our mental health. The Schuler coaches played a really big role in almost being our therapist … because we needed to fulfill these highly demanding requirements in order to get that scholarship.”

So what are those requirements? Per the outlet, students had to maintain a near-perfect GPA, take AP classes every year, and attend regular meetings with staff. They also had to submit an application and go on a camping trip before the start of their freshman year. They spent their entire high school experiences working towards this money — only to suddenly have it ripped away. And that’s not even accounting for what happens after high school.

In order to get the $10,000 scholarship, students — again, who were mostly people of color — could only attend a college handpicked by the Schulers. And, yeah, you probably guessed it. This list was definitely racially inappropriate, whether they intended so or not. While no establishments were named, the outlet said the list included mostly small liberal arts schools that were made up of mostly white students — as if those are the only good schools out there. Ugh.

A counselor who was laid off from the Schuler Scholars program in May discussed the difficulty of this rule, sharing:

“A lot of students who go to the ‘Schuler-preferred’ option end up transferring and dropping out because it was really racist, or they did not feel safe or they couldn’t find communities that they identified with in that place.”

The ex-employee, who was speaking anonymously due to a NDA signed to receive severance pay, continued:

“I think [Jack] Schuler was often trying to put a square peg in a round hole and impose what the Schulers thought was best on to students rather than listening to what [students] thought was best for them.”

Jeez.

Now, think of all those students in schools they don’t really like and don’t feel they belong in now scrambling to figure out a way to pay for it! Let’s not forget most of these tiny liberal arts schools probably had higher tuition to begin with than other options!

Jackson, who is Black and at Lawrence University, spoke out on this challenge, saying that he wanted to go to a big uni because he grew up in a big city, but he landed with the small college in Wisconsin to get the funding he’d worked so hard for. He was just one of a handful of other Black students, making his first year really hard. He’d finally started to get used to the school and found his community in his sophmore year, but now without the Schuler scholarship, he will likely have to get a second job in order to stay. He reflected:

A representative for the Illinois attorney general, who is in charge of enforcing state rules regulating charities and foundations, said they couldn’t comment on potential or pending litigation. Sadly, Stephany pointed out that she (and probably others) would like to pursue legal action but it’s unlikely to happen:

“I just don’t think that anyone in the program has the resources to be able to do that, sadly. And it kind of sucks, right? That we need to have resources in order to fight for the resources that were promised to us.”

The Schuler family didn’t respond to the outlet’s request for a comment. SMH. They sure look like some greedy MFs right now. The least they could do is be more honest about their decision. Or, you know, help all these kids continue paying for school like they promised! Even Michael Scott tried to do more than they have after canceling his promised scholarships! Let’s be honest here. Trump has had it easier than just about any politician in history. The scandals he’s been involved in would have killed anyone else’s campaign. But he was so quick to vilify the press, and they’ve played into his hands. They’re so worried about being called biased they keep giving him leeway. We mean, when’s the last time you actually saw an interviewer ask him for policy specifics? Forget asking about the child rape accusations or charity self-dealing or cheating on his wife… We’re just talking about asking him to actually explain his exact position on a topic. Just the very basics. Think hard! When’s the last time you saw it?

Exactly. But that changed today.

Trump went to a convention of the National Association of Black Journalists, apparently cynically hoping to do his bragging, lying, and mocking and get everyone on his side. But that is NOT what happened. From minute one it was clear Trump was in over his head sharing the stage with these three Black women, and it was A DISASTER for him!

Rachel Scott, senior congressional correspondent for ABC News, began by showing him his feet would be held to the fire this time. She stated that many members of the NABJ didn’t want him to be platformed there before asking:

“A lot of people did not think it was appropriate for you to be here today. You have pushed false claims about some of your rivals — from Nikki Haley to former President Barack Obama — saying that they were not born in the United States, which is not true. You have told four congresswomen of color, who were American citizens, to go back to where they came from. You have used words like ‘animal’ and ‘rabid’ to describe Black district attorneys. You’ve attacked Black journalists — calling them a loser, saying the questions that they asked are quote, ‘stupid’ and ‘racist.’ Why should Black voters trust you after you have used language like that?”

Trump’s answer to being called to account for his behavior towards Black men and women on the national stage the past decade? He proved Scott’s point by attacking a Black journalist’s question:

“First of all, I don’t think I’ve very been asked a question in such a horrible manner.”

Yeah… and it just got worse from there.

He was asked if he would pardon the January 6 rioters, and his answer that he would “if they’re innocent” literally had the audience laughing at him!

SCOTT: My question is on those rioters who assaulted officers. Would you pardon them?

TRUMP: Oh, absolutely I would. If they're innocent.

SCOTT: They were convicted

He complained about having to run against Kamala Harris instead of Joe Biden — then suggested she’s pulling some kind of Rachel Dolezal and isn’t really Black, saying:

“She was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black and now she wants to be known as Black. So I don’t know — is she Indian or is she Black? She was Indian all the way and then all of a sudden she made a turn and she went, she became a Black person. I think somebody should look into that.”

He also attacks the interviewer’s “nasty tone” for asking the question. Oof.

He also implied she was dumb, saying he’d beat her at a cognitive test because she “failed her law exam”. First off, he’s referring to the fact she failed the California Bar Exam the first time she took it (she passed the second), and it’s fair to say it’s a much tougher test than Trump is talking about. He’s been bragging about his success on this thing for years, and it’s a test to determine whether a patient has brain damage.

But it wasn’t just Kamala he disrespected. Asked about his running mate JD Vance, he chose not to support his VP pick but instead made clear to everyone the VP doesn’t actually matter!

Trump was also asked about a hot topic for the Black community in America at the moment, the murder of Sonya Massey by a police officer she had called about an intruder. Considering he announced he’d give all cops immunity, it’s a fair question. But instead of a substantive answer, Trump admitted he doesn’t know anything about the national news story!

Here’s Trump unable to answer a question about how to fix credit debt for people like single mothers and just complaining he can’t hear the question well enough to answer. Is he too old for this job??

Eventually Trump’s team seemed to end the interview early, and he was pulled off the stage. Wow. Despite the terrible results, Trump naturally claimed victory — while once again attacking the journalists for actually doing what a journalist is supposed to do when someone is running for office! He wrote on his Truth Social:

“The questions were Rude and Nasty, often in the form of a statement, but we CRUSHED IT!”

Taylor hasn’t addressed the accusations, she’s too busy being the most famous person in the world. But when asked about the claims Taylor is only pals with her for clout in a new interview with Rolling Stone on Thursday, what did Ice herself have to say? Well, she didn’t just brush it off. Nope! No, the 24-year-old rapper slammed the “rude” comments about their friendship, saying:

“Which is so rude to me, [because] why would she not want to be my friend? Taylor f**ks with me. She’s so funny. I think our personalities mesh really well.”

Ice Spice called Taylor her “closest celebrity friend” — no matter what people think about it. If anyone still has doubts about their close bond, though, then see what TayTay had to say about the Barbie World artist for the cover story! She gushed about how much she admired Ice Spice to the outlet:

“I love when I meet a new artist who takes a keen interest in not just the music, but the music industry and how it works.
