Lana Del Rey appears to have possibly found love again — and you’ll never guess what her rumored new beau does for a living! Spoiler: It’s not Quavo! Sorry to those who were shipping them this summer!

In fact, her new man isn’t even famous, so don’t throw out any celebrity names! She actually sparked romance rumors over the weekend with a Louisiana-born alligator tour guide named Jeremy Dufrene. Yes, AN ALLIGATOR TOUR GUIDE!

In a video posted to TikTok, a social media user caught the pair holding hands on Sunday before her set at the Leeds Festival. Lana and Jeremy were also spotted shopping at a Harrods store in London and dining at a pub. See the two out and about together (below):

Wow! If you’re curious about her rumored new guy, here is the rundown! Jeremy is a dad of two who works as a tour guide at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours in Des Allemands, Louisiana, where you get an up-close look at alligators and other animals! What a wild and scary profession!

What’s more? He and Lana go way back! They’ve known each other for at least five years now! The 39-year-old singer seemingly first met Jeremy in March 2019 when she took one of his tours while in Louisiana for her show at the BUKU Music + Art Project festival. Lana posted pictures with him to social media, writing:

“Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthu’s Air Boat Tours x.”

Check it out (below):

He also shared a photo with Lana to his own account, saying it’s “always a pleasure @lanadelrey.” (FYI, it appears Jeremy’s Instagram is now private amid the speculation.)

While the A&W artist had a good time with Jeremy, nothing happened between them back then — as far as we know. Six months after the tour, she began dating Sean Larkin. After they broke up, she moved on to Clayton Johnson. They got engaged but called it off in 2021. Lana then sparked dating rumors with Jack Donoghue, Evan Winiker, and now…

The musician reconnected with Jeremy in May 2024 when she and her friends took a boat tour while in the town for Hangout Fest. Alongside a pic with Jeremy, she wrote in an IG caption:

“Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene”

“My guy”?! Was this just an innocent comment? Or were they already a thing at that point, and everyone didn’t pick up on it? Hmm. Whatever the case, Lana and Jeremy look like a couple now based on the latest pictures and video! And we must say that Lana dating an alligator tour guide is one of the most Lana Del Rey things she has ever done! LOLz!

It’s like something out of a horror movie…

It was just another easygoing Friday last week at the Great Outdoors RV and Golf Resort in Titusville when the peaceful Florida coast suddenly turned into a horror show. According to multiple local outlets, an alligator attacked a 72-year-old man, severing his leg just below the knee. The deadly reptile quickly disappeared into the water with the man’s limb. The poor victim was quickly airlifted to the Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne while the residents of the area were left shaken over the whole ordeal.

Brevard County Fire Rescue reported the man’s leg was pulled off during the attack, which was reported to police around 2 p.m. The episode of Man vs Gator was not quite over, yet, though — later in the day the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission — along with Brevard County Sheriff’s Office — found something harrowing.

Related: Woman Mistakenly Hunted & Killed A HUSKY Gets Slap On The Wrist!

According to WESH 2 News, officers noticed an alligator in the water — and were shocked to see a human foot sticking out of its mouth!

The FWC takes these kinds of attacks very seriously. They say a Floridian’s chances of being seriously injured in an unprovoked attack are about one in 3.1 million — but when it does happen they try and put down the predator before it happens again. The commission was able to trap and kill two alligators at the scene, but it hasn’t been confirmed if these alligators had anything to do with the attack or not. An alligator trapper was also at the scene assisting law enforcement in their trapping. Meanwhile, a separate FWC officer found the man’s leg and foot in the water later that afternoon!

It’s so scary to think the alligator that attacked him could still be out there — and on top of that, these gators may have been passing around his leg to each other! They all could have a taste for human now…

Ron Peoples, who lives in the RV park, spoke to the news source and said gators were known to chill around the residential area:

“Basically there’s an area where the gators lay on the bank, kind of readily. It’s only about 15 feet between the house and the water … Right now it’s mating season and they’re hungry. It’s a pretty volatile combination when you put them together. We find them in people’s garages and under their cars because they’re moving from lake to lake … They live here like we do, we just have to be careful.”

As far as the victim’s condition, there’s been no new info released, but resident and former paramedic Sharon Maloney told the outlet:

“I heard he did have a tourniquet applied, so that’s a good thing. I heard that he was alert when he went to the hospital.”

Such a scary situation! Again, no need for alarm. Alligator attacks are statistically very rare, even in Florida, with only 442 being recorded from 1948 to 2021. But they do happen! It’s important to always treat all potentially dangerous animals with respect and keep your distance when you can.

We’re wishing the victim a very speedy recovery. Reactions, Perezcious readers?

Fans are up in arms after Celebrity Jeopardy!’s controversial Sunday episode.

If you haven’t heard, John Michael Higgins and Wil Wheaton competed against comedian Joel Kim Booster (pictured in the right inset, above) during the episode’s semifinal round, when an extremely insensitive Brian Laundrie hint was given. Host Mayim Bialik read the clue from the “A List” category, where all answers include the letter A.

It was:

“In 2021 Fugitive Brian Laundrie Ended His Days Fla.’s Myakkahatchee Creek Area, Home to These Long & Toothy Critters.”

Booster quickly responded, “What are alligators?” which was indeed correct, before Bialik moved on to the next topic without thinking twice. As you likely know, Gabby Petito was killed by Laundrie last year while on a road trip, before he retired to Florida where he ultimately died by suicide in an environmental park.

We know this show is supposed to be culturally relevant, but there’s definitely a line between staying fresh and being downright insensitive. Fans quickly took issue, writing things like:

“This is the most tasteless and insensitive answer I’ve ever seen on any Jeopardy! What the hell were they thinking? Making light of that tragic situation is repugnant. Damn.”

“THIS, this is beyond offensive. It’s appalling & completely insensitive, not to mention totally unnecessary. Shame on, @Jeopardy.”

They couldn’t think of some other hint for the word “alligator”??? Absolutely crazy and out of bounds! What are YOUR thoughts? Should the show apologize to Gabby’s family for even bringing this up? Let us know in the comments (below).

This is CRAZY!!!

A new viral video is making the rounds online this week purportedly showing a Florida Man (of course… it’s always a Florida Man…) trapping an alligator IN A GARBAGE CAN! It’s a big one, too!

Related: Florida Man Sentenced To 20 Years In Prison For Cutting Off Penis Of Wife’s Lover

There aren’t a ton of details on this mind-boggling video other than, well, what you can see for yourself in the 51-second clip. And it’s every bit as crazy as our post title suggests!

Ch-ch-check it out (below)!!!

WTF?!?!

Can we talk about how this man is wearing SLIDES to trap the alligator in the trash can?? We don’t know whether to be impressed by that or to face palm!

In response to the viral vid, one Twitter user had a spot-on take:

“Public Service Announcement: THIS IS NOT A SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLANGE! [sic] PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS AN ALLIGATOR CHALLENGE!”

LOLz! That’s good advice! And, sadly, probably very necessary for some people… Also, as one Imgur user pointed out a curious follow-up Q regarding the now can-dwelling alligator in a comments reacting to the video:

“OK… What happens now?”

Yep! Exactly!

What does happen now?!?! You’ve got an alligator… in a trash can…

In what sounds like the premise for a moderately enjoyable SyFy channel movie, Tennessee police have kindly asked locals to refrain from flushing their drugs down the toilet to prevent “meth-gators.”

That’s right, meth-gators. They’re big, they’re nasty, they… probably aren’t an actual threat.

But we’ll get to that in a minute.

The warning was issued by the Loretto Police Department on Saturday, which explained in a Facebook post how officers executed a search warrant on a home to find the occupant attempting to flush meth and drug paraphernalia down his toilet.

Related: Disney Alligator Who Killed Little Boy Lost Its Fear Of Humans

The suspect was unsuccessful, but officers still used the incident to educate residents on the environmental impact of flushing drugs down the toilet. They wrote:

“Folks … please don’t flush your drugs m’kay … our sewer guys take great pride in releasing water that is cleaner than what is in the creek, but they are not really prepared for meth.”

The post went on to remind locals that plenty of ducks, geese, and other fowl frequent the town’s treatment ponds, and officials “shudder to think what one all hyped up on meth would do.”

While meth-ducks and meth-geese certainly don’t sound pleasant, officers argue there’s an even bigger threat if the meth-polluted water makes its way into Shoal Creek. The post explained:

“Furthermore, if it made it far enough we could create meth-gators in Shoal Creek and the Tennessee River down in North Alabama. They’ve had enough methed up animals the past few weeks without our help. So, if you need to dispose of your drugs just give us a call and we will make sure they are disposed of in the proper way.”

Gulp…

Alligators are terrifying beasts when they’re sober. We can’t even imagine how scary one hopped up on methamphetamine would be!

Related: Charlie Sheen’s Ex Spotted In The Hamptons With Suitcases Full Of Drugs

Thankfully, meth-gators are probably something we don’t have to worry about, according to alligator expert Kent Vilet, who works in the biology department at the University of Florida.

When asked by NBC News if the reptiles would be affected by meth, he said:

“I would guess they might be affected by it, but they tend to not react to drugs in the same way we do, and I don’t know if it would take a little or a lot to get an alligator to do something on meth.”

Either way, he believes a threat of meth-gators is “a ridiculous notion,” adding:

“If you flush meth, it’s going to be diluted.”

Vilet noted that gators typically do not seek out humans to harm or eat, and many people tend to over-exaggerate their dangers.

That’s not surprising, seeing as most of what we know about gators usually comes from movies like Crawl, which recently hit theaters:

So, yeah, gators don’t really have the best reputation to begin with.

Let’s hope the meth-gators don’t make it worse!

This is terrifying.
A Toronto filmmaker and environmentalist has gone missing earlier this week after a night dive while shooting a follow-up to his documentary Sharkwater.
On Tuesday, Rob Stewart and two friends were diving near a shipwreck off the Florida Keys when the director disappeared under the water.

The U.S. Coast Guard confirmed the search for the 37-year-old continued at dawn on Thursday, with members of the U.S. Navy, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and local police joining with 20 boats and 12 aircrafts.
A coast guard team stayed on the water overnight looking for traces of Stewart, who hasn’t been seen since 5 p.m. Tuesday when he didn’t resurface while diving in an area called Alligator Reef.
Spokesperson Jonathan Lally said the Coast Guard is remaining hopeful, telling local press:

“As long as there’s a chance for survival, we’re going to search. We remain hopeful we’re going to find him alive.”

The filmmaker was in Florida to film a sequel to his award-winning doc called Sharkwater: Extinction. Friends say he was diving hear the Queen of Nassau shipwreck and was less than 7 miles from shore when he apparently slipped underwater.

His sister Alexandra Stewart told reporters on Wednesday:

“He had surfaced and gave the OK sign and then he was gone. The other diver got on board and was struggling to get on board and then fell unconscious.”

She said the boat crew lost sight of Stewart during the commotion, and expressed concern he lost consciousness as well.
It was the director’s third dive of the day and was the deepest dive he had ever completed in waters up to 70 meters. Stewart has been diving since he was a young teenager.
Stewart’s sister and parents traveled to Florida after being notified of his disappearance, and are now helping manage the search party.
A GoFundMe page has been set up in case efforts are extended — the fund has already raised over $114,000.

This is SO disturbing to hear!
On Monday, we learned that Disney World officials were warned about a dangerous alligator less than an hour before two-year-old Lane Graves was attacked and killed back in June.
Related: Family Holds Funeral For Toddler Killed In Alligator Attack
Now, we’re hearing the alligator likely lost its fear of humans after living in close proximity to people for so long before the attack.
A report from the Florida Fish And Wildlife Conservation Commission, which classified the attack itself as “predatory,” found that neither the boy nor his family did anything to provoke the attack itself.
After being so close to people in that Grand Floridian Resort lagoon for so long, the alligator simply had grown accustomed to humans, apparently.
In addition to yesterday’s tourist who allegedly witnessed an alligator nearby just minutes before Graves’ attack, the report also states that a South Carolina tourist allegedly photographed the alligator from their hotel balcony nearly two hours earlier.
That, according to the Commission, further proves the creature was at ease in the area rather than scared of people.
Furthermore, the report compiled and confirmed eyewitness accounts of the boy’s death — of course, we had already confirmed the boy died from both a crushing bite to the head, and drowning.
Related: This Mom Proves The Attack Could Have Happened To Any Family
According to the state investigators, Lane Graves:

“…could have been mistaken for some of the animal’s normal prey like opossum, armadillo or raccoon.”

Ugh.
We know Disney World has been hard at work clearing away other alligators from the area, so as to protect future patrons — so in that regard, maybe at least one good thing will come of Graves’ death.

But clearly, this is just a horrible, horrible story.
Our thoughts are still with Lane’s family during such a sad, trying time.

It’s been over two months since 2-year-old Lane Graves was killed by an alligator while vacationing at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and yet we’re still learning new details about the tragic accident.
The autopsy for the Nebraskan toddler was released late last week, and, unfortunately, it seems as though Disney was even more at fault than we originally thought!
Related: Family Has Decided NOT To Sue Disney World
That’s because in addition to failing to providing sufficient signage to alert guests about the reptiles, according to the report, some Grand Floridian Resort cast members were warned about the alligator by other visitors just 45 MINUTES before Lane was dragged under water.
Apparently, Shawna Giacomini of North Carolina and her two daughters first noticed the wild animal five feet away from shore at around 8:15 p.m. EST. While they allegedly told the hotel’s movie coordinator about the alligator, when they returned to the beach at 9 p.m. EST… Lane was already gone.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission also confirmed that the child’s cause of death was indeed cranio-cervical trauma as well as drowning, but hopefully the Lanes’ loss can help prevent future deaths.
Please stay safe while enjoying your Summer breaks, everyone!
Rest in peace, Lane.

So heartbreaking.
A 62-year-old grandmother is devastated after she said an alligator snatched and killed her dog at a park in St. Petersburg, Florida this past weekend.
Florida native Sue Fortenbery told ABC News the harrowing incident happened on Sunday evening when she and her grandson took out her four dogs for an evening stroll in Joe’s Creek Greenway Park.
Related: Rio Olympics Golf Course Overrun With Giant Rodents & Mini Crocs!
The dog owner says her 1-year-old Jack Russell terrier Bolt had “caught sight of a bunny and slipped out of his collar to chase it down. The bunny went under a hole under a fence near the water, and he just went right in after it.”
Soon after, Fortenbery’s grandson screamed at the sight of the pup being grabbed by the reptile. She continued through tears:

“I can’t stop hearing that scream and then the yelping from my dog when the gator got him. I will never go back to that park again.”

After being “heartbroken and horrified” by the loss of Bolt — who was named after the super canine in the Disney movie of the same name — Fortenbery wants local officials to fix the holes in the park’s fences or remove all the gators on the premises.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission released a statement saying Pinellas County will be “closely monitoring the park for alligators exhibiting nuisance behavior,” but parkgoers should be wary of gators due to “signage indicating the presence of alligators and other wildlife at the entrance to the park.”
Related: Disney Quietly Removed Animated Crocs & Alligators From Theme Park
But according to Fortenbery, those actions aren’t extreme enough. She argued officials shouldn’t wait until another human fatality — like the June case where a 2-year-old boy was fatally attacked by an alligator at a Disney World resort — to eradicate the predatory reptiles from the area. She explained:

“A park ranger just told me they were going to monitor the area, but isn’t one life killed enough? What do they need? Another Disney World incident to happen here? These gators are like rats; we just don’t need ’em. Gators shouldn’t be in the middle of a city. I don’t want someone else’s pet — or even worse, their child — to be killed. We need to take care of this now.”

This is horrible. Sure, it’s important to protect the native wildlife, but safety should always take precedence.
Our hearts go out to Fortenbery over the loss of her loved one.

We still can’t believe this tragic story actually happened at the happiest place on earth.
As you’re surely aware, 2-year-old Lane Graves was killed by an alligator while wading in the water at Disney World‘s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa two weeks ago.
While the kid-friendly theme park has since added fences, signs, and even a net around the lagoon where Lane was dragged underwater, Disney is now doing even more to make families feel safe.
Related: Authorities Believe 240+ Alligators Are Swimming Around Disney!
According to numerous firsthand accounts from fans, the House of Mouse has quietly wiped all traces of their animated alligators and crocodiles from the park.
We already knew that Jungle Cruise operators had removed a croc-inspired joke from the ride, but now we’re hearing that characters like Louis from The Princess & The Frog, Tick Tock Croc from Peter Pan, and Brutus and Nero from The Rescuers are nowhere to be seen as well.
This does seem like the decent thing to do, at least while the Graves family is still in mourning.
With that said, we’re hearing the real alligators inside Epcot‘s Living with the Land aren’t going anywhere… which doesn’t make much sense.
Do U think Disney is going overboard by removing any signs of the reptiles??
