Amid her bitter divorce, the HGTV star shared that she was getting a tattoo seemingly inspired by her estranged hubby lasered off amid their split! The body art, which appears to say “MRS” (though that hasn’t been confirmed), is tatted on her left ring finger. You know, so even if she wasn’t rocking her wedding band, everyone would still know she was taken… until the split, of course.

In the weeks since her divorce, the Flip or Flop alum has been seen wearing a band-aid to cover up the ink. But now she seems to be done with it altogether!!

On Monday, Christina posted an Instagram Story video of her getting the piece removed by plastic surgeon Jonathan Zelken. She captioned it:

“Thank you to my friends @jonathanzelkenmd for always taking good care of me …”

The pregnant convict-turned-reality star took to her social media platforms on Thursday to give fans a look at her new tattoos, all of which she had done before learning she was knocked up with her first child with boyfriend Ken Urker.

The video was set to Jordin Sparks‘ Tattoo and featured a shirtless Gypsy as she shared a glimpse at a large back tattoo she got, which was inspired by a phoenix rising from the ashes. She also has a new piece on her forearm which was inspired by the Buddhist and Hindu symbol Unalome, which represents a path to freedom. Now, that one seems very fitting considering she literally just earned back her freedom after spending time in prison!

The 32-year-old victim of Munchausen by proxy also shared a better look at her and Ken’s matching husky dog tats, which symbolizes their strong bond. Remember, they got these tats around the time Gypsy split from now-estranged husband Ryan Anderson, and it was meant to be a symbol of their connection. When they hold each other’s hands, the dogs’ faces point toward each other. Aw!

The momma-to-be captioned the post “Tattoo meanings” and tagged her cousin, Bobby Pitre, as well as his Louisiana store Sailor Bob’s Tattoo Parlor where she got the body art done. She also tagged the artist who did the inking, Nadiya Vizier. Ch-ch-check it out!

But not everyone was a fan! Many people seemingly didn’t read the full caption and missed the pregnancy disclosure because they were heated in the comment section, arguing:

“your pregnant tattoos are a big NO NO!”

“She is beyond ridiculous!”

“‘Just gimme whatever’s on the wall'”

“Uh I thought she was pregnant…”

“I didn’t think you could get scratched on when you’re pregnant??”

FWIW, there’s no hard and fast rule about getting tatted while pregnant, but it usually isn’t recommended. But Gypsy didn’t even do that, anyways, so there was nothing to be hating on her for in regards to that part of it! Tons of her fans supported her amid the negativity, commenting:

On July 6, Sonya called 911 to report a possible “prowler” lurking around her Springfield, Illinois home. But when deputies from the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office arrived, they were far more concerned with her — a Black woman sitting alone in her own home — than the possible suspect she reported.

In bodycam footage released from the fatal night, deputy Sean Grayson and another officer are seen arriving at Sonya’s residence. After a bit of discussion on her front porch, the three enter her home. Sonya has a pot of water boiling on the stove, and one of the cops asks her to turn it off, jabbing:

“We don’t need a fire while we’re here.”

Sonya quickly accommodates the officer’s request, turning off the stove and removing the pot of boiling water from the burner. One of the officers steps away and she asks “Where are you going?” He responds, “Away from your hot steaming water.” Sonya responds calmly:

“Away from my hot steaming water? Oh, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.”

Halfheartedly asking for clarification, the deputy responds, “Huh?” before Sonya repeats herself. From that point, deputy Grayson escalates the situation to a dangerously high level, snapping at her:

“You better f**king not. I swear to God I’ll f**king shoot you at your f**king face.”

He then draws his firearm! FOR REBUKING HIM?! FOR BEING SARCASTIC?! WTF?! What does he think is happening?!

Sonya quickly ducks and responds, “Okay, I’m sorry,” as Grayson yells at her to “drop the f**king pot.” He then fires three shots, hitting Sonya in the head. It’s a shocking, merciless taking of human life.

After a few seconds of silence, one deputy calls for emergency medical services while informing them shots had been fired. Grayson tells him:

“Dude, I’m not taking f**king boiling water to the f**king head. And look, it came right to our feet, too.”

Grayson says he’s going to get a medkit, but the other officer nonchalantly responds, “Nah, she’s done. You can go get it but that’s a headshot.”

Later when other officers arrive at the scene, Grayson asks if there’s anything that can be done before another cop tells him no. He responds:

“Alright, I’m not even gonna waste my med stuff then.”

He then tells his version of events to the newly arrived law enforcement official, what we assume is a supervisor:

“She had boiling water and came at me with boiling water. She said she was going to rebuke me in the name of Jesus and came at (me) with boiling water.”

Where exactly in the footage did she come at him?? To be clear, that is NOT what happens in the footage. Anything like that is strictly in this man’s mind.

Shockingly, he later adds:

“Yeah I’m good, this f**king b*tch is crazy.”

What’s telling is that Grayson does not even activate his bodycam footage until AFTER he fatally shot Sonya. But her death is not going without repercussions…

Grayson has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder, while he and the other deputy were hit with one count each of aggravated battery with a firearm and official misconduct. Grayson was indicted by a grand jury last week and according to court docs, he entered a not guilty plea and was denied pretrial release. At least he’s being held accountable in some way.

But another unnerving layer of this whole incident was revealed in Grayson’s mugshot… On X (Twitter), many have pointed out that the cop sports a Totenkopf tattoo on his forearm, which is a symbol commonly associated with neo-nazis and white supremacist groups. See (below):

So disturbing… Were this officer’s actions — or at the very least, his hastiness — racially motivated? Would the situation have been different if it was a white woman taking a boiling pot of water off the burner? Seems like a pretty easy answer, tbh.

On Monday afternoon, civil rights attorney Ben Crump spoke during a news conference, stating that Massey suffered from mental health issues but was in no way aggressive towards the officers. He chillingly said:

“She needed a helping hand. She didn’t need a bullet to the face.”

So horrible.

Sonya’s father James Wilburn spoke to CNN on Monday, revealing he was initially led to believe Sonya was killed by an intruder — not an officer of the law:

“I was under the impression that a prowler had broken in and killed my baby. Never did they say that it was a deputy-involved shooting until my brother read it on the internet. We were led to believe that the intruder – or someone from the neighborhood – may have killed her. We were absolutely shocked to find out that it was a deputy who shot her.”

Did the cops try to sweep this under the rug?! He added:

“You’re used to having ‘the talk’ with boys, but now I guess we have to talk to our girls about … their interactions with the police.”

The grieving father remembered Sonya as a gentle and loving soul:

“Sonya was a daddy’s girl. She never ended a conversation – whether by text or telephone or in person – without saying, ‘Daddy, I love you.’ And that’s the last message I have from my daughter that’s saved on my voicemail, was ‘Daddy, I love you.’”

This situation is utterly shocking, terrifying, brutal, disgusting, and most of all, unnecessary. How many innocent lives will be lost in this way? We hope to see Sean Grayson pay for his actions. But more importantly this is yet another deafening alarm bell about who we allow to be police officers and how we train them. Something in this country needs to change, and it needs to change now.

Rest in peace, Sonya.

As people looking for love, we all long for that crazy whirlwind romance where a guy sweeps you off your feet and you just know. But one woman has a cautionary tale about taking that plunge with both feet first. Or in this case, with the upper arm first…

Cora Hayes took to her TikTok to recount the story of vacationing in Edinburgh, Scotland and having an “instant connection” with a guy she met there. The 22-year-old was backpacking across the UK on a trip from her home in Melbourne, Australia when she met Jack — and the two “hit it off” right away. They got along so well she took the plunge into ink! She recalled:  

“We started talking about tattoos at the bar and one of his friends was joking and saying that Jack would never get one but he said he would. I said I’d get one too and it became a joke of the night that we’d get one the next day. The next day came round and we went to a tattoo parlor and got matching tattoos of a little lemon. There was no reason but we both agreed on the lemon and got the exact same tattoo at the same time together.”

Notice how she avoids saying “matching tattoos”? Probably because it didn’t end so well… At the time, though, after a four-day romance — and the tattoo thing, of course — she thought for sure this was something real. They kept in contact when she continued her travels and made special plans to get back together:

“I messaged him saying I had some spare time while traveling and that I could come back. He said, ‘Yeah, come back. I’d love to see you again’. We spent the next few days planning what we were going to do. We were going to drive up to the Highlands in Scotland. We both agreed that I’d come back. I booked flights and during this whole thing we were in constant communication. I sent him my flight details and made sure the days worked and everything. Throughout that whole time we were still messaging and things were going well.”

And then? He suddenly canceled. Just two days before she was set to fly out to see him! He said there were “family stuff” he had to focus on. That was before he settled on “ghosting” her entirely:

“It got to two days before I fly out and his messages started getting less frequent just randomly. No issue had happened. I sort of had an inkling. Then I got a message saying, ‘Hey, I’m really sorry, family things have come up, I can’t do this weekend. I hope you get home safe’. He knew I wasn’t going back to Australia for a month but he didn’t try to move the dates.”

And he really never spoke to her again?! Well, one more time… She says she now realizes he lied about there being family issues:

“I believe he made it up because he later apologized and said he felt I came on too strong and he didn’t want to get hurt because I live in Australia. Who would make up a lie instead of just being honest?”

Sorry, she “came on too strong”?? Bro, you were part of that! If you thought she was at a different intensity level than she was, you should have told her at the time! Instead you lead a girl on and let her buy freakin’ plane tickets?! What a coward!

At the time, she didn’t know what to do. She was “in panic mode” not knowing what was really going on with him. But she’s clearly the type of girl to take the leap of faith, and this effboy’s ghosting didn’t change that! She flew to Edinburgh anyway and did the tourist thing. She met other people and had a great time. In fact, she shared a room in a hostel with two other girls from Australia who were fantastic.

And when her new gal pals heard the story of the tattoo, they decided they’d get it done, too! Little lemons for all! And instead of having a matching tat with some dodgy jerk, something she’d have to look at with bitterness (or sourness we guess), now she has one with a couple BFFs!

“So now I can change the story. It was a very sweet ending. It’s very empowering. It’s kind of like a f**k you. For him, the tattoo’s still the same story but for me it’s changed to a story of friendship and girlhood. He’s never going to forget me.”

On Sunday, Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Kane Navasard took to Instagram to share a tattoo snap of a naked man and woman cuddling together with the woman holding the man on her chest. The tattoo is NSFW but sexy as f**k! But the real story is that it had been done on Mendes!!

The ink was drawn and then tattooed onto Shawn by a Puerto Rican tattoo pro with the IG handle @comoeloro. As you can see (below), that artist offered an amazing array of clean lines for this simple but surprisingly intricate piece:

Camila Cabello‘s ex debuted his first tattoo — a thin red line down the back of his neck — on social media back in 2021, and over the last three years, he’s gotten about a dozen more! And now he can add this NSFW image to the list. So cool!

And here’s an interesting wrinkle… The artist who created the image, the aforementioned @comoeloro, first posted it to Instagram more than FIVE YEARS ago! This sketch (below) was originally uploaded way back in 2019:

Vivienne AND Shiloh both reportedly dropped dad Brad Pitt from their surnames this year. It could be a sign of loyalty with them — especially as fans think they spotted a matching tat on Shiloh’s arm recently! We’re guessing 15-year-old Vivienne doesn’t have any ink yet, but maybe they’ll all get one?
