The disgraced actor took to his Instagram account on Tuesday to share a video of him standing by his pickup truck in a CarMax parking lot. He noted that it wasn’t an ad, and that he was really having to sell his car to save money and start a “new life.” He said:

“I bought this for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift for myself. I have loved this truck intensely and … on road trips and I took it for one last road trip to Carmax. This is because I’m selling my truck. I have put about 4 or 500 dollars worth of gas in it and I can’t afford it.”

After spending time in the Cayman Islands following his divorce from Elizabeth Chambers and after sexual assault and cannibalism allegations, he is finally back in Los Angeles and has been “for a couple of weeks.” This prompted him to make a change, he detailed:

“I got a new car, it’s tiny, it’s a hybrid, I’m probably going to put about ten bucks in gas in it a month.”

Despite already getting a new car, the 38-year-old was having reservations about selling. He said his kids Harper, 9, and Ford, 7, were “not happy about this,” telling the camera:

“They’re, like, ‘Dad all of our memories in the truck.’”

He added:

“So I haven’t told them yet. But I’ll tell them and they’ll be fine, kids are adaptable. I just keep telling myself that parking is going to be easier and gas is going to be cheaper.”

At the end of the day, it’s just a car! They’d probably much rather a father who was a little less stressed about gas money! But we get that it would be hard to give up his beloved truck. See his full explanation (below):

Over the past three years, we’ve seen The Social Network actor experience one of the most shocking and unforgettable falls from grace in recent history. Multiple women came forward with horrendous allegations against him, blowing the lid off his alleged “cannibalistic fantasies” and BDSM preferences. His ex-girlfriend Effie Angelova outright accused him of rape in addition to “mentally, emotionally, and sexually” abusing her, while ex Courtney Vucekovich told Page Six he allegedly wanted to “break” her rib to “barbecue and eat it.” In addition to a whole host of other shocking leaked messages, Armie even allegedly admitted to being “100% a cannibal.”

Following a two-year investigation, the Los Angeles Police Department did not end up charging him with sexual assault or anything else, and Armie has vehemently denied all allegations of rape and cannibalism… Most recently last week on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

And now his mother Dru Hammer is weighing in.

In an interview with DailyMail.com published on Saturday, the author called all the allegations made against her son “the perfect storm” which “unfolded during Covid when people were locked away in their homes and the feeding frenzy for new information was at an all-time high.”

However, she didn’t excuse the Call Me By Your Name star’s actions… In fact, she flat out admitted he’s in the wrong:

“I would never say that Armie did everything right, because he didn’t. Morally, he was wrong.”

But like the 37-year-old, she too shot down the cannibalism and rape allegations:

“But I do know my son was not out eating people. That I know. And Armie did not rape anybody. I knew that he was not morally right, but that was insanity.”

She added:

“He was in the wrong. He was the older actor and they were younger. They were influencers on Instagram or whatever. Did he take advantage of them? Absolutely. He will say so himself. Did he do anything criminal? Absolutely not. He’s been completely exonerated by the police.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Dru claimed that one of the girls who accused Armie had been to her house, touched on the sexual abuse he suffered as a child, compared his ways to her ex-husband’s, and said he was “medicating” through a rough time during his and ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers’ divorce:

“Armie was not in a healthy spot. He was medicating, was not able to see his children. As a mother you hurt as much watching your son spiral, leaving a trail of young broken hearts and a young wife suffering. Elizabeth suffered the worst of us all with two young children, trying to survive the betrayal.”

As Perezcious readers will recall, the 37-year-old actor’s career on the big screen came to a screeching halt in 2021 when he was accused of “violently” raping and “mentally, emotionally, and sexually” abusing ex Effie Angelova. Other women came forward with similar allegations, claiming Armie had cannibalistic fantasies and BDSM preferences. That same year, his former lover Courtney Vucekovich even told Page Six that the Gossip Girl alum allegedly “wants to break my rib and barbecue and eat it.” Yeesh!

Armie has constantly denied any wrongdoing, maintaining all his relationships were consensual. Following a two-year investigation into Effie’s allegations, the Los Angeles Police Department chose not to charge him with sexual assault or any other crimes. Since then, The Social Network star has talked about the allegations made against him. And he apparently still has a lot more to say about it!

On Friday, Armie appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Friday to talk about the sexual assault and cannibalism accusations in depth. Piers Morgan wasted no time getting into the alarming claims, as asked flat out in the first few seconds of the interview:

“Let’s first of all address the elephant in the room. Are you a cannibal?”

Damn! He got straight to it! Armie’s response? He said:

“You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten someone.”

When asked if he had ever “eaten any human flesh” before, the Call Me by Your Name star once again denied it, saying:

“No. Not a question I’d ever thought I’d have to answer by the way. But no, never.”

Hmm. Armie then went on to deny the other accusations – specifically the ones of sexual assault and abuse made by Effie. Of the affair they had while he was married to now ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, he said:

“This was a very intense affair, very sexually charged, between two people with very similar proclivities and kinks. Any of those conversations that we had inside of that relationship, when you take them outside of that context and put them into broad daylight, it doesn’t look so good. You know, different people have different sexual fantasies. And there’s a very broad spectrum of sexuality, and people are allowed to engage with their own sexuality however it fits them and what they do.”

He added that he thinks the cannibalism rumors were “born out of a desire, to sort of like, ‘I want you so completely’, and ‘I want you so totally’ that it’s almost like ‘I want to eat you.’” What?! Elsewhere in the interview, Armie addressed the reports that he got some help from Robert Downey Jr. amid the massive scandal. As you may recall, Vanity Fair reported that the Marvel actor allegedly paid for the Death on the Nile star’s nearly six-month stint at a Florida rehab facility as he was struggling with drug, alcohol, and sex issues. When asked about the support from RDJ, Armie set the record straight:

“No, he did not. He did not pay for me to go to rehab. I don’t want to bring anyone else into my situation. There are a number of people who have been extremely helpful, and I’m incredibly grateful.”

That being said, the Oppenheimer actor was a huge help in other ways. Armie explained that Robert was there for him “in the way where anyone in Hollywood who suffers from any sort of addiction issues — whether it be alcohol or process addiction or drugs — decides to get sober, that guy will find you, and he will help you,” adding:

“It’s amazing.”

He also got some advice from him. Armie claimed Robert told him during the controversy:

“‘Sit down, shut up, everything is going to be OK.’”

Other celebrities, on the other hand? They weren’t as helpful to Armie as Robert. He noted that his other former co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Julia Roberts never reached out to him. However, he isn’t worried about “the people who didn’t contact me.” Instead, he wants “to focus on the people who did, who showed their support” – like Robert, Lone Ranger co-star Johnny Depp, and Challengers director Luca Guadagnino. The filmmaker, who worked with Armie on Call Me by Your Name, has “been vocally supportive, which is something that I could not appreciate more,” he told Piers. Ultimately, Armie has no hard feelings toward anyone who hasn’t supported him through all this:

“At the same time, I’m also well-aware that it is a precarious situation right now, and anyone who vocalizes support comes under fire. I understand that my situation was inflammatory, and anyone who gets too close might also light on fire.”

Wow…

Armie Hammer has admitted to branding his ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze!

In a sneak peek of his sit-down interview with Piers Morgan on Uncensored that was obtained by Page Six on Thursday, the Call Me By Your Name star claimed he DID brand an “A” into his younger partner! But he insisted that it was totally okay because “there wasn’t even blood.” Dude, what?? Trying to defend himself while talking about this controversial topic, the actor said:

“I wouldn’t say brand, no. There was a scenario that we talked about beforehand, that we had discussed where, you know, I would basically take a little, tiny point and just kind of trace the letter ‘A’ — just like the tip of a small knife.”

Uhhh…

He went on to justify his actions, adding:

“I mean, there wasn’t even blood in the situation. It was more like a scrape… It’s along the lines of couples getting their own initials tattooed on each other.”

The TV host then pointed out that using a knife on someone is “a bit different to a tattoo,” but Armie pushed back, noting it was “less permanent.” He continued:

“I guarantee it was such a small thing.”

The size does NOT matter if the person wasn’t a willing participant! And while Armie is insisting it was consensual, the 26-year-old, who he dated for four months in 2020, has claimed she was not pleased by his actions. Just saying!

Elsewhere in the interview, the broadcaster expressed being a “little bit shocked” by the Death on the Nile alum’s actions, to which the Hollywood star replied:

“Yes, I think to some it probably sounds really strange. To some, it probably sounds like a very romantic gesture.”

The 37-year-old also argued that he had nothing “to be gained” in “having a sexual experience that my partner didn’t appreciate or enjoy.” He explained:

“That was also a huge sense of validation for me, making this person that I’m with feel good, making this person that I’m with, I don’t know if I can say this, climax. […] Like, these were things that made me feel good and made me feel powerful, which I desperately needed, because I didn’t know how to give them to myself.”

Hmm.

Sounds like there was a messy power dynamic going on! Especially when you hear how Paige tells the story. As Perezcious readers know, in January 2021, the Dairy Boy founder accused Elizabeth Chambers‘s ex-husband of using a knife to brand her with the letter “A” near her vagina, insisting there was visible blood and bruising — and that it left a permanent scar. She recalled:

“I kind of sat back and let it happen. I didn’t really know what to do or say … As sad as that is, I wanted him to like me and feel like I was down for what he wanted.”

The influencer also alleged that Armie wanted her to be his “little slave” and show off and “be proud of” her bruises, she claimed:

“I said, ‘How am I supposed to see other people when I have bruises?’ He said, ‘That’s the point.’ I think it was a part of marking and branding.”

Several other women have since come forward with allegations against the father of two, including other claims about his BDSM fantasies and even mental, emotional, and sexual abuse — plus the unforgettable cannibalism bombshell. Armie has hit back at the allegations, such as denying raping ex-girlfriend Effie Angelova. He was ultimately not charged on that after a lengthy investigation.

Cardi B is ready to start a new chapter without Offset as her husband. She filed for divorce from the Migos alum AGAIN. And it supposedly had nothing to do with Offset cheating on her again. He’s cheated on her several times during their relationship, so no one would be surprised if that was why! But the real reason Cardi finally ended their marriage — this time, seemingly for food? A Page Six source spilled:

“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do. They both have been trying to figure out what their future looks like for a while now. It’s not something that happened overnight … They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. Hopefully, this “new beginning” for Cardi brings her more joy than ever before!

General Hospital fans got a huge shock in July when Cameron Mathison, who portrays Drew Cain on the daytime soap opera, and his wife, Vanessa Mathison, announced their divorce after more than two decades of marriage. They issued a joint statement on Instagram, saying:

“After 22 years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to part ways. We enter this new chapter with deep love, kindness, and respect for each other. We hold gratitude in our hearts for the wonderful years we shared together. Just four days before The Real Housewives of New York City alum Kelly Bensimon was supposed to marry wealth management consultant Scott Litner, she decided to call it off! The sudden breakup left everyone with one question: What happened? The Bravo personality revealed to Us Weekly that her fiancé refused to sign a prenup, which was “the ultimate red flag” to her! Kelly said:

“I haven’t come this far in business and life to start making poor decisions because of a man. He of all people should have understood the need to protect each other before we tied the knot. I’m truly shocked he refused a prenup.”

The RHUGT star added that he “thought that I would enter this union without legal protections in place, that I would leave everything to faith.” Well, Kelly wasn’t taking that risk and dumped Scott! Amber Portwood & Gary Wayt

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood and her fiancé Gary Wayt called off their engagement in June after he disappeared for days earlier that month. Gary went missing after he left their rental home in North Carolina and drove off following “an argument” with Amber. No one was able to reach him for days since he left his phone behind, causing the MTV personality and his family to worry. It wasn’t until June 14 that the Bryson City Police Department announced Gary was found, and the case was closed.

As for Amber and Gary’s relationship once he was located? Well, they weren’t able to move past what happened. A source for Us Weekly revealed they broke up, saying:

“They’ve decided that it’s over between them and their engagement is off. They have too much to overcome to move forward together.”

The insider noted that Amber “wants to be with someone who accepts her fully.” Apparently, his family was not happy with their engagement, and it“created some family tension.” The sources added:

“Gary’s family was looking her up online and looking at her past and not everything they saw online was true. And it was hard for Amber because she’s been trying so hard to move past it and move forward.”

Was his family’s reaction to their engagement what caused the big fight before his disappearance? Something tells us that is probably the case…

Billy Ray Cyrus & Firerose

Seven months after their wedding, Billy Ray broke up with Firerose! And it’s a very messy situation, y’all! The Old Town Road artist filed for divorce in May, citing “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct.” Billy Ray even asked for an annulment since he believes their marriage was obtained fraudulently! According to the Hannah Montana alum, she lied about never having been married before! Whoa! He also claimed Firerose cheated on him. In court filings, he further accused her of racking up nearly $100k in credit card charges after he ended their relationship.

Jeez…

The 36-year-old musician fired back with her own filing and accused Billy Ray of “extreme verbal, emotional and psychological abuse.” Firerose explained his alleged struggles with substance abuse made him “unpredictable and volatile” towards her throughout their marriage. Then, Billy Ray responded by releasing a note she sent him begging him to take her back. In an amendment to his divorce filing, he also claimed she brazenly blocked one of his daughters — Miley, Noah, or Brandi Cyrus — on his phone to cut off communication. It’s unknown which one got blocked. But we bet it was Miley. The Flowers artist was not a fan of her father and Firerose!

With all this drama, it’s no wonder Billy Ray is reportedly “relieved” he and his estranged wife are over!

Sara Ramírez & Ryan DeBolt

In July 2021, Sara Ramírez — who uses they/them pronouns — announced they separated from their husband, Ryan DeBolt, after nine years of marriage. The And Just Like That alum wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram:

“Ryan and I are no longer together. We remain loving and supportive in how we are choosing to forge our new individual paths. Thank you for holding space around our choices and respecting our families’ privacy as we navigate this process on our own terms.”

Now, three years later, Sara officially pulled the plug on their marriage. According to People, the Grey’s Anatomy star filed for divorce on June 11, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. And here’s an interesting detail about the filing. Although Sara and Ryan announced their separation on social media three years ago, they listed the date of separation as January 2018. Wow. They also requested the pair’s assets be divided per their prenuptial agreement and spousal support for both of them to be blocked.

Joe Jonas & Stormi Bree

Joe Jonas’ romance with model Stormi Bree “cooled off” after nearly six months of dating, according to Us Weekly in May. A source told the outlet they had to put their relationship on hold, explaining:

“Joe has a very busy schedule between his kids and his career, so his romantic life has to take a back seat for now.”

At the time, the insider said Joe’s focusing  on “his children and his passion for his music” and is living “a very fulfilled life.” They added:

“If the right person comes along, he’ll definitely make time for them in his life. [He] doesn’t feel the need to jump into a relationship with anybody. If it happens, it happens. But he’s really happy with where things are at right now.”

Back in January, Joe and Bree sparked romance rumors a couple of months after he and Sophie Turner announced their divorce. They were spotted at a private airport in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and eventually confirmed their relationship with a kiss. Two months later, their romance seemed to heat up. An insider claimed things were “getting more serious” between Bree and Joe. Now, their romance has fizzled out.

Harry Styles & Taylor Russell

No more Haylor 2.0! Harry Styles and Taylor Russell ended their relationship after less than a year of dating. According to sources who spoke to The US Sun in May, they went on a make-or-break trip to Japan back in April. Harry and Taylor were seen riding bikes around Tokyo at the time. They seemed like a happy couple. But come to find out that the relationship was put to a test on the vacation. And unfortunately, they did not make it as a couple afterward! An insider said:

“Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship. They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart.”

What caused the rough patch? It sounds like, as what ended many celeb couples in the past, long distance hurt them in the end! The source further explained their connection had “become strained recently,” adding:

“He’s been in America and she’s been in London. They made a lovely couple and it was obvious Taylor made Harry happy. Things have become strained recently though and they’ve taken some time out.”

Whether Harry and Taylor give their relationship another go in the future, we’ll see. But for now, they’re dunzo!

The US Sun reported in May that Madonna and her 30-year-old boxer boyfriend, Josh Popper, split after one year of dating. While Madonna and Josh are no longer together, the insider also noted they do plan to remain friends:

Another Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple bites the dust! During Season 13 of the Bravo reality series, Dorit and PK Kemsley’s marriage troubles were on display. In the reunion in March, the fashion designer revealed their problems “got progressively worse” after filming wrapped. Things were so bad between them that PK briefly stayed in a hotel. However, their marriage started to improve once he gave up alcohol. Dorit said:

“PK was drinking a lot and he’s a drinker. I just think that it’s very difficult to have clear-headed conversations when he’s drinking so much, so he gave up drinking.  That was a very pivotal moment, so things are – knock on wood – as good as they can possibly be.”

But flash forward to two months after the reunion, the Kemsleys took a step back from their relationship. They wrote in a statement:

Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon’s love didn’t last! Breakup rumors started in May when a source told DeuxMoi that The Real Housewives of New York City alum ended their six-year-long relationship a few months ago. What’s more, he was already “out dating publicly.” Well, it wasn’t just a rumor! Us Weekly confirmed Bethenny and Paul ended their engagement! A mutual friend of the exes said:

“It just wasn’t going to work. They are so different — he’s an under the radar kind of guy.”

People gave no reason for their sudden breakup. Given Ryan’s preferences for women in their 20s, we can’t help but think he pulled a Leonardo DiCaprio… again! As you may recall, the American Idol alum dated then-26-year-old Celebrity Big Brother star Jasmine Waltz in 2009. He became romantically involved with Julianne Hough in 2010 and broke up with her in 2013 – when she was 25. Then, Ryan dated Shayna Taylor on and off for years until she was 28. And that brings us to Aubrey. She turned 25 in October 2023. Now look where their relationship ended up…

Alexia and Todd Nepola are divorcing after three years of marriage — but all hope is not lost in this situation! According to Us Weekly, The Real Housewives of Miami star’s husband filed for divorce on April 15 in Florida. The breakup completely caught fans, and even Alexia, by surprise. She addressed the news on Instagram Stories, saying:

“I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage. I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during this difficult time.”

But, again, I feel that being in the public eye is so much harder and I think that’s one of the reasons that he’s struggling with it. … He does not like [being in the public eye], no.”

Was that what caused their relationship to crumble all of a sudden? Yes – but that is only part of their issues! When Alexia and Todd started dating, RHOM was already on a hiatus — a seven-year-long one! Once the show got picked back up, he apparently struggled with the spotlight. Oof. It’s not only that Todd did “not like” being in the public eye. The Housewife also admitted that they struggled with their communication:

While many Bachelor Nation fans hoped the beloved Golden Bachelor stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist would be one of the few couples in the franchise to make it, alas that wasn’t in the cards for them! Three months after their televised wedding in January, they announced on Good Morning America their divorce. In terms of what led to their split, Gerry and Theresa apparently couldn’t get on the same page when it came to where they wanted to live. She resided in New Jersey while Gerry was in Indiana. While the pair tried to find a home together, they just were not willing to relocate for each other in the end and decided it was in their best interest to part ways. So sad…

Fortunately, their divorce was super easy! According to TMZ, it was finalized by June.

Christine Quinn & Christian Dumontet

Christian Dumontet filed for divorce from Christine Quinn — days after police arrested him for felony assault with a deadly weapon. In March, the tech entrepreneur allegedly threw a bag with a glass bottle inside at the Selling Sunset alum amid a violent “rampage.” However, he missed Christine and hit their 2-year-old son Christian Georges. Oh no! Their kid was treated by the paramedics and transported to the hospital for further medical attention.

Meanwhile, Christian was taken into custody. But that wasn’t the end of the drama. He returned to the couple’s shared home when he was released from custody the following day — despite Christine getting an emergency protective order against him. He was then arrested for a second time.

Although Christian denied his estranged wife’s recounting of events, she has continued to double down. The real estate agent also later revealed his history of mental health issues and alleged domestic violence following the incident, noting he even threw dog poop at her at one point. Since their domestic dispute, Christine claimed he’s tried to mess with her, even planting recording devices to watch her inside their home. So scary! He has been charged with three misdemeanors, including child abuse/endangerment, assault, and violation of a protection order.

In the divorce filing, Christian requested sole legal and physical custody of their son but allowed the reality star visitation rights. That won’t slide for Christine, though! She wants full legal and physical custody of their child, claiming her ex-husband “perpetrated acts of domestic violence and child abuse against [her] son and [her].” And she’s not going down without a fight when it comes to this matter!

Sacha Cohen & Isla Fisher

More than two decades of romance are over. In April, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher announced in a joint statement on their respective Instagram accounts that they secretly broke up in 2023. They had even filed for divorce already! They wrote:

“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”

Neither has revealed what led to their breakup. However, reports came out to say the divorce had “nothing to do” with the claims made by Rebel Wilson in her memoir. The Pitch Perfect alum alleged she faced on-set harassment at the hands of Sacha while working on The Brothers Grimsby. Although her allegations did not lead to his divorce from Isla, it seemed to play into their decision to drop the shocking news! The Confessions of a Shopaholic star apparently wanted no association with her ex amid his scandal!

So what really ended their marriage? Sources claimed there’s been trouble in paradise between Isla and Sacha for quite some time. Their relationship started to fizzle when they relocated their family to Australia to be close to Isla’s family. That move left them “shaky.” But the final nail in the coffin when it came to their marriage? The loss of her father, Brian Fisher, in January 2023. Everything changed at that moment. His death reportedly left Isla “absolutely devastated” and caused her to “reassess her life,” including her marriage to Sacha:

“It was one of those moments in life that changes you, and it wasn’t long after this that Isla began to consult lawyers about splitting up with Sacha.”

Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley are divorcing. They announced the end of their five-year marriage in a joint statement to Instagram in April, saying:

“After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the same time we spent together. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together. We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you.”

Wow. For those who don’t know, Chance and Kirsten have a long history together. They first met when he was nine years old. But it wasn’t until 2013 that they began dating. Six years later, Chance and Kirsten got married. They had two kids, 7-year-old Kensli and 4-year-old Marli. Over the years, the 31-year-old rapper hasn’t been afraid to make music about their relationship. He even created an entire album about their wedding! So what happened to make them pull the plug on their marriage?

It’s unknown what caused the breakup. But a year ago, Chance displayed behavior that no wife would be OK with their husband doing! The Voice judge faced backlash when model Mela Millz shared a video of herself twerking on him at the Jamaican festival Carnival! He appeared really into it, too! The clip showed him grinding into her butt. He even slapped her booty at one point! Yikes.

It finally happened. Jenelle Evans filed for separation from her scary husband, David Eason, on February 23, citing his “erratic” behavior as the reason behind the split. In the complaint, she claimed she officially separated from him on February 16 “with the intent that the separation be permanent.” She cannot file for divorce until they legally have been separated for a year, per North Carolina law.

You would think if a person’s spouse had a history of alleged abuse (including against her 14-year-old son Jace) and murdered the family dog in front of a minor, there would be an exception made to allow them to divorce right away, right? But that is not the case. So for now, David and Jenelle are only separated and the count down to make it official has begun.

Ultimately, after trying everything to save their marriage over the past two years, sources say “divorce is the only outcome” for Ellie and Caspar. And they are ready to move on.

Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia’s marriage is done after 15 months! The Real Housewives of Atlanta Star shocked fans when she filed for divorce from her husband in February. Especially since they still seemed to be going strong only days before their breakup! The real reason for their split is unknown. However, people have been speculating it has something to do with rumors circulating about Simon’s citizenship status!

A report from the Atlanta Black Star claimed the businessman had been denied permanent residence in the US due to his criminal record involving alleged felony bank and credit card fraud. (FYI, he reportedly pleaded guilty to the crime in 1987.) Simon is currently appealing the decision. He also has been accused of overstaying his visas and being “unlawfully granted” a green card in 1988. Could these accusations have caused their divorce? This year’s batch of Bachelor Nation breakups started with a big one! Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo decided to divorce after four years of marriage. The chiropractor filed on January 2 and listed the separation date as just a few days earlier, December 31, 2023. The exact cause of the split is unknown. However, Bryan cited irreconcilable differences as the reason in the court documents.

He later addressed the breakup on Instagram, saying:

The 37-year-old Call Me By Your Name actor had been enjoying true silver screen stardom when it all crumbled in 2021. That year, one ex (Courtney Vucekovich) told Page Six that Hammer “wants to break my rib and barbecue and eat it.” Then a month later, another ex (Effie Angelova) accused Hammer of “violently” sexually assaulting her as well as abusing her “mentally, emotionally, and sexually” back in 2017.

There ended up being no criminal wrongdoing found on Hammer’s part in that instance, and he denied all the claims against him. However, it seriously stalled out the Social Network star’s career all the same. And now, on Sunday, he opened up about what he went through with all that — and how he sees it now.

Appearing on the Painful Lessons podcast, Hammer addressed all the shocking cannibalism claims that destroyed his reputation. First, he seemed amazed that the world took the cannibalism accusations and ran with them:

“People called me a cannibal, and everyone believed them. They’re like, ‘Yep, that guy ate people.’ Like, what? What are you talking about? Do you know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to eat people! How am I going to be a cannibal?! It was bizarre.”

But then things got really interesting — and strange! Acknowledging that there were “discrepancies in whatever it was that people said,” Hammer admitted that he’s “now at a place in my life where I’m grateful for every single bit of it.” Huh?! Grateful?? Really?! He explained:

“I’m actually now at a place where I’m really grateful for it because where I was in my life before all of that stuff happened to me I didn’t feel good. I never felt satisfied, I never had enough, I never was in a place where I was happy with myself where I had self-esteem. I never knew how to give myself love. I never knew how to give myself self-validation, but I had this job where I was able to get it from so many people that I never had to learn how to give it to myself.”

It wasn’t just his acting career that completely halted following the cannibalism accusations, though. The star also stumbled in his marriage, after now-ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers filed for divorce in July of 2020. The exes co-parent two children together now. Regarding the fall of his marriage, Armie added:

“It was an ego death, a career death. A neutron bomb went off in my life. It killed off [everything]. There were a lot of times when I thought I can’t take this anymore.”

He wasn’t saying that last part lightly, either. He admitted on the podcast that he tried a “half-assed suicide attempt” to try to get away from all the pain that he’d been feeling in his life following the cannibalism claims against him:

“I was getting hate… so it just went right in… there was a time. I was standing at the shore and I swam out really far and just laying there… a half-assed suicide attempt… But I thought I couldn’t do that to my kids.”

Wow…

While speaking to Tommy Lee‘s wife Brittany Furlan, Schmitt revealed she had a “situationship” with Hammer from August to September after meeting through mutual friends. While she knew he was “a bad guy” who had “gotten taken down already,” she wanted to give him a second chance since it seemed like he was doing work on himself. It probably makes a difference they met in sobriety circles. It’s all about second chances. Looking back, though, there was “a red flag” right from the start that she totally missed. She was essentially branded by him! She dished:

“So, the first night we did hang out, he did give us tattoos. […] They’re on my hand. They’re cute. He was just doing stick and poke, but it did escalate over the time that he was staying with this guy he was sober companioning. He did order a tattoo gun.”

Oof. This was after one of the accusations by ex Paige Lorenze was that Hammer branded her like a member of the NXIVM sex cult…

Apparently, the 37-year-old was still into giving girls mementos. He had started “tattooing strangers” and actually called it “Cannibal Ink.” Oh, boy. Not off to a great start… Brittany continued:

“He thought he was being funny, and I was like, ‘Maybe don’t lean into that.’ But yeah, we got matching tattoos the first night, which I was in a dark place.”

Remember, this was well after his problematic kink was already worldwide news — and he still wasn’t toning down the whole cannibalism thing! Seems like he doesn’t care at all about the controversial stuff that turns him on!

But here’s what’s very inneresting! The comic, who is also sober, went on to insist the Social Network alum was “very open about everything” and “very willing to talk” about his kinks — including the so-called cannibalism, which he described it as “a cycle of completion.” He once explained it to her:

“I’m inside of you. I want you to be inside of me.”

She teased him at the time:

“Could I just put a finger in your butt?”

LOLz! That just didn’t do it for the A-lister! He needed to BITE! And she did. Hard.

“So he does this biting thing, where it’s like he will push it to the limit with biting. He will go as hard as you let him go with biting.”

But the podcaster made it clear she always had control over what happened, saying:

“It would get really f**king hard, and I would say stop, and he would stop. I was consensual with everything that was going on. I didn’t have the same experiences as the other girls.”

The biting also never drew blood “because I wouldn’t let him,” she noted. But, again, she pointed out she wasn’t “negating” any of the alleged victims experiences or “saying it didn’t happen,” it’s just that her “experience was different.”

But it wasn’t necessarily unproblematic! She made a point to ask Armie if he was “single” when they first started seeing each other because she in no way wanted to be messing with another woman’s man. He insisted he was, though he was casually speaking to two other girls — one of them seemingly being Marina Gris, who just announced they got engaged but have already broken up. And based on a deep dive of the girl’s Instagram, it sure looks like there could’ve been some overlap, so Brittany’s definitely a bit irritated about that!

The disgraced star has had quite the controversial past few years, to put it lightly, but that didn’t stop him from finding love again — even if it was short-lived. On Thursday morning, a 26-year-old woman by the name of Marina Gris posted on her Instagram that she and The Social Network star have ended a secret engagement just two months after beginning it. She wrote over a purple background on her Story:

“It’s with a reflective heart that I announce the end of my journey with Armie, a chapter that’s been deeply personal and warmly significant in my life and closed a month ago.”

An announcement and breakup all wrapped up in one post! Oof!

She then addressed the disturbing allegations that have been made against the 37-year-old over the past few years, including alleged sexual assault, abusive role play, and cannibal fantasies:

“Before you send me another unpleasant message: I am aware of the controversies and stories circulating about him. It’s important for me to state that my personal experiences with Armie were positive and in no way reflective of these allegations. I speak only from my perspective and my experiences and am not responsible for any of his past, current, or future relationships.”

She continued:

“Our relationship was a space where I felt deeply appreciated, supported, loved, and understood. I know him as a gentleman in every sense of the word. Our decision to get married and plans for a future together were rooted in strength, encouragement, and deep mutual care. The decision to part ways, though tough, was carried out with grace and respect, marking a beautiful end to our shared journey.”

If their romance was this good, why’d they split?! We have so many Qs! But the mysterious woman didn’t get into any of that. She simply concluded:

“I am grateful to this relationship and for the love and support I received, but now it’s a closed chapter. As I wish Armie happiness and fulfillment, I hold onto our memories with fondness, including the laughter and light-hearted moments we shared. Be happy, shawty ”

This was not on our 2024 Bingo card!

According to Marina’s IG, she and the father of two got engaged in October of 2023, though it’s unclear how long they’ve been together or how they met. At the time, she shared a set of photos featuring a sparkling band, which she captioned:

“I said ‘What is it, silly question day, American?’”

Later that month, she posed with a giant bouquet of pink roses, writing, “I love you.”

If October truly was when the two got engaged, that would put the major decision just four months after his divorce was finalized from ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers, by the way.
