This week, the 33-year-old actress sparked rumors she was on the type 2 diabetes medication for weight loss when she posted a picture on Instagram wearing a shirt with the slogan “Ozempics 2024” with a picture of the American flag and the Olympic torch. Check it out (below):

However, a source claimed to Dailymail.com on Friday that Jamie Lynn IS using the drug to help her lose weight. But the problem? Her loved ones are afraid she’ll take things way too far! Uh oh! It sounds like we could have an alleged Scott Disick situation here… An insider said:

“Her friends and family have told her that she looks incredible and that she does not need to lose any more weight, but she’s not listening.”

According to the outlet, Jamie Lynn received a ton of brutal comments about her appearance when she went on multiple reality shows like Dancing With the Stars, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! All the hate knocked her confidence. So when the Zoey 101 alum got the confirmation she would reprise her role in the upcoming fourth season of Sweet Magnolias, she allegedly decided to try to lose weight through Ozempic. However, after successfully shedding a few pounds, Jamie Lynn is now having a tough time quitting! The source explained:

“Jamie Lynn hopped on the Ozempic train, and is now struggling to get off. She was mortified over her appearance when she did a string of shows last year. She read the comments and took it very, very hard. When Sweet Magnolia’s was renewed for season 4 she was so focused on getting a new body. Her friends were supportive because many of them use it too and by the time she started filming in January she looked great and was happy.”

Although her pals were “supportive” at first, they’re growing worried about Britney Spears’ little sister. Their concerns are just being brushed off by Jamie Lynn as she is afraid to gain the weight back, though, says the source:

“But then she kept going and is now having difficulty pulling the plug on it. She is so scared of gaining it all back that she is willing to put her desire to have a ‘summer body’ before her wellbeing.”

So far, the singer reportedly has had “some” side effects:

“She has had some side affects just as most people have and although they are not severe enough to warrant her being forced to stop, they have affected her. She gets headaches a lot and has a hard time focusing and also stomach cramps.”

Umm… All of that sounds pretty “severe” and unpleasant to us! Jeez!

It’s not just the negative comments that pushed Jamie Lynn to go on Ozempic and continue to suffer through these side effects, though! Or even the main reason! Another source told the outlet the Follow Me artist mainly wants to “step on the gas” when it comes to her career next year and fears her weight will hurt her plans:

“Jamie Lynn is eager to step on the gas with her career coming into 2025. She understands that her name and connection to her sister will open doors, but fears her physical appearance could impact this. She understands the pressure that Hollywood puts on actors for the way they look. So she turned to Ozempic to remain in the conversation of TV bosses.”

It’s heartbreaking to hear she’s dealing with the horrible side effects just to keep her career — if this is true. It’s important to take this report with a grain of salt as we haven’t heard from Jamie Lynn herself on whether she’s really taking Ozempic. Just days after big sis Britney Spears was caught up in some hotel drama, the Zoey 101 alum took to her Instagram Story on Saturday to celebrate her momma’s 69th birthday! Wow! She shared a photo of Lynne with her granddaughters Maddie, 15, and Ivey, 5, gushing in a caption over the family snap:

“Happy birthday to my beautiful mama She has a childlike spirit that brings magic to everything she does and we are so blessed to have her.”

Well, Britney’s relationship with her mother clearly took a turn for the worse recently. As Perezcious readers have been reading, paramedics were called to an LA hotel late last week when Britney and her boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz were allegedly causing a scene. Ultimately, the singer injured her foot — possibly from doing drunken cartwheels is some of the latest reports are to be believed. However, we do know for sure she left without receiving care from the ambulance on scene — in fact, she was pretty pissed they were even there!

Later on social media she went after Lynne! She blamed the media storm on her momma, saying it was some kind of setup — like the old days. It’s bad, y’all! So she definitely wasn’t feeling as “blessed” as her little sister!

Considering how Brit and Jamie Lynn have only continued squabbling, you could see how one could read this very public praise as a jab at her wayward sister. Though obviously there’s every chance it’s just a benign birthday message. Will an increasingly paranoid Brit see it that way??

Innerestingly, despite the controversy, Lynne was seen arriving in Los Angeles on Friday, possibly even to try to see Britney! She indicated to paparazzi that she’ll always be there for her girl. It’s unclear if she was just visiting her son Bryan Spears, who picked her up from the airport — or if she planned to meet up with the pop star while in the area to try and calm things down! Jessie decided she was going to post a bikini photo three months after giving birth. She isn’t back to her weight from a year ago. And that’s OK! She wrote in a poignant caption:

“I’ll be honest I really didn’t wanna post any of these kittenish swim photos because i weigh 30 pounds more right now than I did last year this time. Yes I know I just had a baby three months ago but it’s easy to compare on here and wonder why my body likes to hold on to it more than others.”

She added, however, the lesson everyone needs to remember:

“The pressure we put on our self is not realistic.”

Hear, hear! The country singer continued:

“So this is a reminder to myself and to you. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself grace. We are healing after growing a human being for nine months. On Tuesday, just days after losing her conservatorship battle against her dad Jamie Spears, the pop star seemingly took some of her frustration out on a different family member with whom she has a longstanding beef, and it was harsh AF!!

Taking to her Instagram Stories in several since-deleted videos, the mother of two was seen sitting in the passenger seat of a car with three others as they were headed to go horseback riding on some kind of vineyard. As Brit was taking in her surroundings, she wondered if her friends (including an apparent British assistant) had ever gone camping.

After saying she’d never braved the elements herself, the pop star (using an accent like her assistant) threw major shade at her sister! Confirming she watched the Zoey 101 alum compete on the reality show, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, Britney brutally DRAGGED the actress, saying:

“My sister did on a TV show, and they bathed her in the jungle. Little s**t! She said, ‘bathe me ’cause I’m stuck in the jungle and I miss my kids. Oh, cater to me!’ Little bitch!”

Damn!!!

We thought they’d finally made steps toward reconciliation — or at least a bit more peace — but guess not! Clearly, there’s still a ton of bad blood between them!

And this wasn’t even the only concerning thing in the videos! When speculating about how she and her friends would handle being in the jungle, the Circus vocalist joked that her assistant would spend most of the time trying to convince her not to pee in the bushes to avoid getting a “vagina rash.” She also feared all hell would break loose when they ran out of wine. And, she teased that they’d likely end up calling her manager Cade Hudson for some pricey backup, joking:

“We want a helicopter right now. Get us out of here and land us in Cuba. Britney wants her favorite pilot that she has a crush on.”

Jeez. That’s why she’s supposedly going broke! Her first instinct is to jet off to a luxurious vacation rather than tough it out in the woods. And see some hunky pilot, apparently! LOLz!

It’s certainly inneresting to see Britney continue on like normal right now despite so many sources coming out of the woodwork to share fears for her mental health and financial stability! But as of now, it’s not clear where exactly the Gimme More songstress plans to wake up on Christmas morning… The outlet reported that her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears will be in Louisiana with her dad, but time is of the essence if Britney decides she wants to make an appearance. It was previously dished by sources that the Oops… I Did It Again singer was planning on taking a weeklong trip down to her hometown Kentwood in order to spend some quality time with her fam — and now her momma seems pretty hopeful she’ll be heading home for Christmas to fulfill that!

As reported by TMZ, a photog caught up with Lynne in the airport, and when asked if things were going well, she said yes. And when the reporter asked if there was a chance Britney could go back home for the holidays, she replied:

Insiders spilling to DailyMail.com are saying NO WAY! On Friday, a source told the outlet the 42-year-old will “never” forgive her 71-year-old poppa — “dead or alive”! They maintained:

“There is no chance, ever, that Britney will reconcile with her dad. He hurt her in ways not imaginable and, regardless of what happens to his health, she will never forgive the man, dead or alive.”

Damn.

Adding on, the insider noted those pics she posted were all about her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James — and Jamie’s appearance was just incidental:

“The only reason that Britney included this photo is that she loved the picture with her son. It had nothing to do with her dad, or his health issues.”

OK, but then why not crop him out? Or just choose photos where he doesn’t appear, surely there must be enough of those. She posted several others after all. Hmm.

Certainly any reconciliation wouldn’t mean anything is changing on the legal front. And as far as the upcoming case focused on her conservatorship scheduled for May? It’s still on:

“The legal case against Jamie is forging ahead as planned.”

After all the alleged abuse Britney detailed in her memoir, The Woman In Me, it makes sense she wouldn’t want anything to do with her father anymore. Then again, she originally claimed her mom was the one who let it all play out, and she spent her birthday repairing her relationship with the 68-year-old after she apologized. So who’s to say?
