Drumroll, please…
Just one week after announcing they are expecting their first child together, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have another exciting reveal to make to the public: the sex of their baby! The couple took to Instagram on Saturday night to post a video of the big moment. In the clip, Kourtney could be seen sitting on the Blink-182 drummer’s lap in front of a drum kit on a stage outside. Very fitting for this punk-rock couple! Travis then gave a quick drumroll and slammed the cymbals as a ton of confetti shot out into the air. And the confetti was… BLUE, confirming that the duo is having a baby boy!

Someone in the background can be heard shouting, “I knew it.” Kourt and Travis – who were both dressed in white – then celebrated the news with a kiss and hug while their loved ones cheered in the background. You can ch-ch-check out the entire reveal (below):

As you know, this will be Kourtney’s third son. She has three kids with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick: 13-year-old son Mason, 10-year-old daughter Penelope, and 8-year-old son Reign. Meanwhile, Travis also has a 24-year-old stepdaughter Atiana, a 19-year-old son Landon, and a 17-year-old daughter Alabama with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Last week, the pair shared with the world that they were expanding their family. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum announced the pregnancy news with a handwritten sign during his band’s concert in Los Angeles. See (below):
Clearly, these two seem so happy! A source shared with People this month that Kourtney “is just beyond excited” for their little one. And it’s not just her – the entire KarJenner crew is too! The insider added:
“She had happy tears when she told her family. They have all known for a while. Everyone is so happy for her. Kourtney can’t wait to be a mom again. Her older kids are excited about the baby too.”
Amazing! As for their exes? For Scott, the news “stings” for him. But Us Weekly reported that he still “reached out to congratulate” Kourtney and Travis:
“Scott knows this is what Kourtney has wanted for a long time and as bittersweet as it was, he reached out to congratulate her and Travis.”
Meanwhile, Shanna told her followers on Insta that she was “excited” for them, writing:
“Very excited for them, hope they have a great experience bringing in a new life to the world. I’ve known for weeks. This is not new news to me.”
Whelp, at least she was informed ahead of time!
