On Monday’s episode of her Whine Down podcast, the One Tree Hill alum revealed her eldest Jolie is growing up — and she’s not ready for it! Specifically, the 8-year-old had some questions about a certain man who comes around once a year to deliver toys. You know, Santa Claus!! Jana recalled:

“Jolie goes, ‘Mommy, I was talking to this girl at lunch.’ … I was like, ‘OK, what did she say?’ She’s like, ‘She said that Santa’s not real.’ And she goes, ‘So, is it true, Mommy? Is Santa not real?’ And I just stared at her and I was like, ‘What do you believe? What do you think?’ Because in my mind, it’s not time for her [to] know that Santa’s not real.”

OMG! We bet Jana was stressing!!

The Christmas in Mississippi star is of the mindset that her kids — including 5-year-old Jace whom she also shares with ex-husband Mike Caussin and 9-month-old Roman whom she shares with husband Allan Russell — shouldn’t have to learn the truth about Santa until they are in “fifth grade or above” (so, around age 10). Because of that, she had to think quickly to navigate this convo! She shared:

“I just kinda turned the question around to her, and I just said, ‘What do you believe?’ And she said, ‘Yeah?’ And I said, ‘Yes.’ And I was starting to stumble over my words. I was like, ‘Yes, Santa is real.’”

Jolie was then skeptical about magic, which her classmate also told her doesn’t exist, but Jana had a fast response to that, too! She said:

“I was like, ‘Baby, the magic of Christmas is, like, the most beautiful time.’”

Thankfully, it all worked! Jolie’s still a believer in Santa. But her momma did own up to two mythological creatures being fake, as she dished:

“[Jolie said], ‘But, I mean, the Easter Bunny isn’t real.’ And I was like, ‘100 percent, not real.’ She’s like, ‘Mommy, a bunny jumping around?’ I was like, ‘1,000 percent, that’s not real.’ And she’s like, ‘And the Tooth Fairy isn’t real either, is it?’ and I was like, ‘No, baby.’ So, she got those two.”

Oh, man. Feels like a slippery slope to reveal the truth about some and not all! Hopefully, Jolie doesn’t get to thinking too hard about any of this! Love that Jana’s trying to keep the magic alive for her children as long as possible!!

Now that the 8-year-old understands the truth about some holidays, though, the mother-daughter duo are going to work together to “make it fun for Jace and Roman.” Aw! That’ll be nice for the little girl!

Jana Kramer is sharing her opinion on Blake Lively amid the It Ends With Us drama. And on this point she knows of what she speaks…

Thre’s been tons of criticism over how Blake has promoted the movie — especially compared to how her co-star Justin Baldoni is handling the press. Critics say the actress has been dismissive of the more serious aspects of the Colleen Hoover adaptation — which is all about domestic abuse and cycles of violence. Instead shes treating the movie like a fun rom com you should take all the girls to go see. The more it works — the movie is now Blake’s biggest hit ever — the more it has upset actual DV victims. And now, on Monday’s episode of her Whine Down podcast, Jana is weighing in.

Important to remember first, the singer/actress is a survivor of domestic violence. Her first husband Michael Gambino was convicted of attempted murder after he strangled the singer into unconsciousness. She’s been very open about her horrifying experiences, and she’s used her platform to raise awareness and help others who may be in similar situations — so it’s only natural she’s going to have an opinion on something so close to her heart.

On Monday, the 40-year-old admitted she hasn’t seen the movie yet because of the subject matter:

“I haven’t seen the movie. I have a tough time watching movies that deal with domestic violence given my history with it.”

She said she started to pay more attention to the film, though, as Blake’s controversy heated up:

“Then I started hearing stuff about the interviews, and for me, I was just, like, it made me sad because I just want the messaging to be about domestic violence and how to help people and how to get help.”

It was especially upsetting to Jana when the Gossip Girl alum seemed to explain her take on the movie, saying in a BBC interview that her character was “not just a survivor and she’s not just a victim” — because being a victim of violence shouldn’t  define you. Blake explained at the time:

“While those are huge things to be, they are not her identity. She’s not defined by something that someone else did to her or an event that happened to her, even if it’s multiple events. She defines herself and I think that that’s deeply empowering to remind people that no one else can define you. No experience can define you. You define you. We really feel like we delivered a story that’s emotional and it’s fun, and it’s funny, and it’s painful, and it’s scary, and it’s tragic and it’s inspiring and that’s what life is.”

That’s a take alright. But Jana disagrees — and makes it clear she figures Blake is only arriving at her hypothesis because she hasn’t ever experienced anything like what she’s talking about:

“It’s hard for people to talk about domestic violence when they haven’t, themselves, been, in real life, had the hands of domestic violence on them. So, for people to say it doesn’t define you, it does define you.”

Jana explained:

It has made me who I am. And though people can say, ‘It doesn’t define you,’ it is one of the biggest pieces of me, is domestic violence, and has been the biggest thread in my life.”

So sad… but so very true for many survivors of domestic violence. We’re happy for Blake if she’s never experienced this kind of thing. But if that is indeed the case maybe she should be listening to the experts here?

The 40-year-old actress revealed to People that she got married to Allan Russell on Saturday! What great news! According to the outlet, the couple tied the knot in front of 35 wedding guests at Carnell Estate — just outside Glasgow, Scotland. Of course, those in attendance for the nuptials included her two children, 8-year-old daughter Jolie and 5-year-old son Jace, their 8-month-old son Roman, and the former soccer player’s 16-year-old son Troy. The One Tree Hill alum said of their wedding day:

“I just knew that I wanted to marry him. We had talked about just going away and doing it ourselves, but it was important for me to have the wedding for Jolie and Jace, so they can see that we’re married now. I’ve also never been so excited to walk down the aisle to someone, and it didn’t need to be this big thing. It’s going to be very small and intimate and everything that we wanted. We’re getting married in Scotland, so the background is already stunning as it is. I just want to marry him, and I want my closest friends there. That’s all that truly matters to us and our family.”

For the big day, Jana and Allan made sure to pay tribute to his Scottish heritage. There were bagpipes, kilts, haggis pie, ceilidh — traditional Scottish music — and Highland Games like cable toss and stone-throwing. Their kids each had a role in the wedding, with Jolie as the flower girl, Jace as the ring bearer, and Troy as an usher. During the ceremony, the lovebirds recited vows they wrote themselves. Aww!

What a horrifying twist ending to this poor woman’s real-life nightmare…

A new Lifetime movie starring Jana Kramer hit televisions and streaming services over the weekend, telling the horrifying story of Morgan Metzer, who barely survived a scary home invasion. The shocking part of this woman’s story, though, is that it was all too real! And it starts when her marriage to her now ex-husband Rodney Metzer started falling apart.

While speaking to The US Sun before the release of Gaslit By My Husband, Morgan broke down what exactly happened between her and Rodney, and where it all started to go wrong. Married in 2001, the childhood sweethearts went through a devastating loss when one of their children died of congenital heart failure just weeks after being born in 2011. While mourning the loss of their baby, the husband — who was a financial trader — also lost a huge sum of his inheritance that year.

Eventually, the pair were able to give birth to twins, but it didn’t fix the deep-rooted problems this couple was already dealing with. Eventually it led to them filing for divorce in December 2020, but this is where Morgan said things changed with Rodney:

“He got stalkerish, real fast.”

At the time, she said he’d make “weird” comments and ask her out on dates despite their estrangement. He still had hopes of winning her back, she figured, but she was not on the same page. The couple went to Florida that year around Christmastime to drop their kiddos with some family to “show them we were a united front.” But when they got back home, she says, this is when Rodney really snapped.

He called his estranged wife and told her he’d been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer — a total bombshell! But the bigger shock? It wasn’t true. She would come to find out all of it was part of a huge web of lies he’d woven:

“He even forged the documents. It was his last straw to try and get me back.”

On the night before New Year’s Eve 2020, Morgan let her ex crash on the couch. But she was determined to start 2021 with a new life, so she kicked him out on New Year’s Eve. She went to bed early that night, rang in the new year when she was awoken by fireworks just before midnight, and went back to sleep. Thirty minutes into 2021, though, she heard a creak and rolled over to find someone standing in her doorway…

A masked home invader who was using a voice distorter that “sounded like something out of Batman” jumped into action. She recalled:

“A downstairs lamp was on so there was light coming from behind him. I screamed so loud, it’s a scream that I don’t think I can ever do again. It was so painful. Soon enough, he was on top of me.”

So creepy! And here’s where things get truly horrific. He started beating her with a pistol, and with each blow she was left wondering if this could be Rodney or someone else — but those thoughts didn’t stay in her head for long. She was more concerned with her life:

“At that point, I knew I was going to die.”

The invader reportedly punched her and beat her for HALF AN HOUR before he started to strangle her. She said adrenaline made the blows given to her body less painful, thankfully, but “the strangling was the worst feeling in the world”. She could only see her attacker’s eyes, so she couldn’t identify him, as “he was wearing a mask which made him look like Batman, it even had the ears which angled up a bit”. (Something tells us the Lifetime movie is going to leave out the trademarked Warner Bros character.)

Morgan identified her assailant without seeing his face before he left, though. She recalled he said on his way out that she was going to miss her family and husband:

“That’s when I went, ‘Wow, it’s him.’ Why would somebody randomly say you’re going to miss your husband?”

The attacker dragged a half-naked Morgan outside and destroyed any potential evidence against him before fleeing the scene. Coincidentally, Rodney showed up a little over an hour after the attacker broke in. He claimed someone told him about a break-in at his ex wife’s house:

“I had told him that night that I was going to be at my parents’ house. So why would he come to the house?”

WILD!

Why would someone tell him instead of immediately going to the cops?? Why wouldn’t he go to the cops after hearing someone broke in?? This guy was digging himself a hole already!

Morgan vehemently accused her ex-husband of being the attacker, which caused him to panic as cops arrived. It didn’t take long for police to put together the pieces, and Rodney was arrested within hours. Despite the emotional turmoil of being attacked by a man she’d known and loved since she was a child, as well as watching the father of her children be dragged away for such a heinous crime, she admitted she found some solace in him being unmasked, so to speak:

“No one had ever believed he was a bad person, it was a relief. He would always blame stuff on me too, to make me think like I was in the wrong. That was the gaslighting … Finally everyone could see his true colors.”

After being arrested, Rodney was hit with a whopping EIGHT felony charges, and was originally looking at 70 years behind bars before a guilty plea got him reduced to 25 years. Morgan recalled having to explain to her children “dad had done something bad”. The entire ordeal left her with permanent scars, as she said:

“The first few months, I didn’t sleep at all, period. I would sit in the corner of my son’s room and just stare at that doorway. Doorways scare me now. If there’s someone that stands in the middle of a doorway it triggers me so bad … I probably kept [my kids] home from school probably way more than I should have.”

Heartbreaking… We can’t imagine the betrayal and emotions she was feeling. You think you know someone…

Morgan has been continually working with a therapist, as well as finding some relief in telling her story in the movie. She’s also working on a book:

“I want to raise awareness for people who are suffering silently. I want women to learn to speak in a circle together of people they trust. I didn’t realize how toxic my situation was, and how much lighter life could be.”

Absolutely unimaginable. We’re so glad Morgan got out of that situation and lived to tell her story. We hope she continues to heal and find peace amidst all the turmoil.

On her Whine Down podcast this week, the One Tree Hill alum made it clear she’s not a fan of Tayvis! She even dished out something of a warning to Taylor Swift about her man, saying the football player reminds her of her ex-husband. Yeah, that ain’t good. She thinks Trav is just like her serial cheater ex Mike Caussin! What’s more, Jana feels the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is “loving the attention” from the relationship with Taylor a little too much. Yeesh!

But here’s the deal. The country music artist wasn’t always a Travis hater. She was on board with the romance between him and the pop star at first. But as time went on, Jana’s opinion completely changed. The real deal breaker happened when she witnessed the 34-year-old athlete’s “aggression” toward coach Andy Reid during the Super Bowl earlier this year — and it “rubbed” her “the wrong way.” Then she claimed to have noticed Travis is “always drunk” and feels his drinking habits are rubbing off on Taylor now.

Jeez! She really dragged his name through the mud! So what does Travis think about her harsh comments? He’s definitely surprised and confused by the whole ordeal — especially since he’s never once met her! Sources even claimed he never heard of Jana until this week. Ouch! One insider spilled to Page Six:

“He was taken aback as he’s never met her and is just living his life.”

LOLz! “He’s never met her” is giving real Mariah Carey clapback energy!

Despite what Jana — who doesn’t know the football star at all — may think, sources for the outlet insisted Travis doesn’t have a drinking problem! A second insider also pointed out the only reason the public sees him drinking is he’s being “watched” every second of the day now:

“The guy is under a microscope, basically being watched everywhere he goes. Of course you’re going to see him drinking. He’s being watched everywhere he goes.”

With that in mind, the same source argued if the Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? host did struggle with alcohol addiction, it would be difficult to hide from everyone. They continued:

“It’s not like he’s passed out somewhere. If he was passed out somewhere, I would totally understand, but that’s not the case whatsoever.”

The source insisted Travis is a just “normal human being” who is “doing the same thing” as anyone else — except “they’re not in the public eye” like he is. Not to mention, the outlet shared, the former reality star is “in training right now” for the upcoming football season, so “if he was drunk, it would be a bigger problem.” Andy Reid wouldn’t let that slide!

Ultimately, sources close to Travis feel Jana trashed him in order to gain “attention” and headlines as she’s done in the past. One insider said:

“This is what Jana Kramer does. She latches onto people to get attention.”

Damn!

Simply put? The One Tree Hill alum has doubts the Kansas City Chiefs star is what he seems! In the newest episode of her Whine Down podcast, she compared Trav to her own ex, NFL star Mike Caussin:

“He reminds me of my ex.”

Oof!

Not a good guy to be compared to, tbh. They were great at first, but Mike turned out to be a serial cheater — he even stepped out on Jana while she was recovering from surgery! Can you imagine?! And that’s the guy she thinks Trav is like?!? She said of the very public love story:

“But it just feels a little corny, cheesy. It just feels like he’s loving the attention.”

OK, clearly Trav LOVES the spotlight! But then again, the football star already had two Super Bowl wins under his belt by the time he met Taylor. So it’s not like he was in need of any more attention. And he’s been really good on his podcast about keeping their private lives private. Compared to what he and big bro Jason do admit to? Really, he’s kinda being reserved!

So what has Jana feeling these doubts? She admits she wasn’t always skeptical, but as time went on, she started to raise an eyebrow at the couple’s public-facing dynamic. It mostly started after the 34-year-old’s drama with his coach Andy Reid during the Super Bowl:

“Honestly, the Super Bowl thing rubbed me kind of the wrong way — the aggression there… And then I’ve just kind of heard things that I don’t love. But again, I just want everyone to be happy is what I’ll default to. I don’t know, it’s something about him that reminds me of my ex that just rubs me the wrong way.”

Again, that is a red flag FOR SURE! We’ve mostly enjoyed what we’ve seen of Trav and how happy he’s making Taylor. But if Jana told us our boyfriend reminded her of Mike Caussin, we’d start sleeping with one eye open. Ya know?

The 40-year-old momma also referenced how the athlete is “always drunk” — which she believes is also affecting Taylor:

“To me, he’s always drunk. Every time I’ve ever seen a video he’s just always drunk. And I hope she doesn’t go on that. I see her drinking more now, like the company you keep…”

Jessie decided she was going to post a bikini photo three months after giving birth. She isn’t back to her weight from a year ago. And that’s OK! She wrote in a poignant caption:

“I’ll be honest I really didn’t wanna post any of these kittenish swim photos because i weigh 30 pounds more right now than I did last year this time. Yes I know I just had a baby three months ago but it’s easy to compare on here and wonder why my body likes to hold on to it more than others.”

She added, however, the lesson everyone needs to remember:

“The pressure we put on our self is not realistic.”

Hear, hear! The country singer continued:

“So this is a reminder to myself and to you. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself grace. We are healing after growing a human being for nine months. And if you’re breast-feeding like me and your body needs to hold on to as much weight as possible to keep making milk, then let it. Focus on that sweet new baby because that’s what it’s all about. Plenty of time to ‘get back’ when it’s time. But for now. Give yourself grace… you’re doing great and you got this girl! We are in this together Xoxo”

Heck yeah! We would be remiss, however, if we didn’t also add that Jessie does look AMAZING in her bikini! LOLz!

Obviously we respect the fact she isn’t at her usual fightin’ weight, but she’s still Jessie James Decker, for cryin’ out loud. So yeah, momma looks phenomenal! But it doesn’t take away from her message!

“Guys, so I have an announcement to make. I took a pregnancy test … so, I was late. …When I started counting, I was like, ‘oh my God, I’m gonna be pregnant.’”

Mind you, she JUST welcomed her third child Roman, her first with Allan, back in November. She continued:

“So then I started to freak out, a faint, faint — just like my first test — faint, faint line. …This is how it happened with Roman. I had a faint little line, and then I was pregnant. So, I was like, ‘I’m totally pregnant.’”

Jenna also shares daughter Jolie, 8, and son Jace, 5, with ex-husband Mike Caussin. She continued:

“Jace takes this little rock and he goes, out of nowhere, I mean literally, out of nowhere, ‘Dear God, I want mommy to have another baby,’ and prays to this rock … So I was like, ‘I’m totally pregnant.’…But then three days later, I started my period.”

You think she’d be relieved, right?? Her body probably hasn’t even fully recovered yet! But the 40-year-old was actually disappointed:

“I was like, ‘Well, I kind of want another one.’…I got to a place where I’m like, ‘I would love another one with [Allan] on the right timeline. If I was younger, I would have another in a heartbeat. If I was 38, I would have another one.”

OMG! She concluded:

“I don’t think my body could handle another one and he doesn’t want to do IVF, so I think it’s done.”

Well at least she can get her baby fix… With her literal baby! Ha!

After welcoming her newborn son Roman, the actress revealed on Friday that she’s no longer trying to breastfeed after several unsuccessful attempts in her past. During a candid Instagram Q&A with fans, the 40-year-old dished:

“I am not [breastfeeding] and he is perfectly happy. We are doing formula and we’re using Dr. Brown bottles. Used them with all my other babies and they loved it.”

In the vid, the One Tree Hill alum held her baby boy as he could be seen drinking from a bottle with his eyes closed. She just welcomed the tiny tot last month with fiancé Allan Russell. Previously, she had children Jolie, 7, and Jace, 5, with ex-husband Mike Caussin, who unfortunately did pressure her into breastfeeding!

Hitting back at the possible uproar from opinionated followers online while also addressing her history with breastfeeding, the I Got The Boy artist continued:

“And I don’t have any shame around it like I did the last 2 times when I tried to breastfeed.”

Back in 2020, the country musician said on her podcast, Whine Down, that she was never interested in breastfeeding since it wasn’t something she felt she needed to be connected to her kid — but the former NFL star felt differently. At the time, she opened up:

“I’m going to be really honest, I didn’t want to breastfeed. I had no desire. I wasn’t breastfed. For some reason, I didn’t feel like I had to have that connection with my baby. Personally, I don’t like my nipples touched. I don’t like it. I don’t want someone sucking on them.”

But because it was “important” to her then-partner, she did everything she could to make it work:

“But then my milk didn’t come in, and they wanted me to supplement and they wanted me to pump. It was so stressful. I was just crying, like, ‘Oh, my gosh, my baby lost even more weight than she should have.’ My milk eventually came in but we had already made the decision to formula feed. I remember getting so much shade and so much hate.”

Oof. It’s hard enough to be a momma — adding this extra stress and pressure is so unnecessary! After everything she’s been through the last few years, we’re glad she’s embarking on this parenting journey on her terms this time. Seems like her mental outlook will be much healthier and better off because of it!

At a time when movies are being accused of being as chaste and neutered as ever, the One Tree Hill alum is bringing sex somewhere it’s never been onscreen! A Lifetime Christmas movie!

The singer co-stars with hunky Adam Senn in the upcoming A Cowboy Christmas Romance, premiering December 9. She plays a cutthroat real estate developer who goes back to her hometown in Arizona and locks horns with a cowboy who doesn’t want to sell. And naturally, horny holiday antics ensue. Only this time, according to Jana, it’s the first instance in which the classic Christmas romance will be consummated in a Lifetime movie! She revealed on Monday’s episode of her Whine Down podcast:

“It’s the first [Lifetime] Christmas movie that has a sex scene,” she explained. “When I read it, I was like, ‘Well, this is gonna be interesting.’ I’m like, ‘How are we gonna do this with the baby belly?’”

She is of course referring to the fact she was preggers during the shoot, something they had to get creative to hide! And in her description of the creative baby bump peek-a-boo, Jana ends up describing some of the steamy scene, saying:

“We’re on this — spoiler alert — he lays me down on some hay, and then we, you know … And then, you know, obviously, it’s still Lifetime, it’s still family. But it was pushing limits there, too.”

Damn, they could have just called the movie He Lays Me Down On Some Hay, and it would be a hit! LOLz!

But that’s not the only scene either! Writer Sarah Drew, an alum of the very sexy Grey’s Anatomy, revealed:

“It all came out so beautifully, but especially the scene in the kitchen. I had written into the stage directions, ‘He pulls her up onto the counter, he shoves things off the table.'”

Oh come all ye faithful! The scribe says she was so proud of the scenes, she demanded they not be taken out:

“I put it all in there, so I was like, ‘Don’t take the steam and the sex away from me. I wrote it on purpose, I want it in there.'”
