A New York man brutally murdered all three of his siblings and his niece after a disagreement about what to do with their late mother’s home.

A sibling meeting turned deadly over the weekend after the five of them met up at their late mother’s Syosset home out on New York’s Long Island to discuss what to do with the property after her death earlier this month. According to the Nassau County Police Department, 59-year-old Joseph DeLucia had lived for his entire life with the siblings’ late mother in the home. Everyone else, including sister Joanne Kearns, 69, brother Frank DeLucia, 64, sister Tina Hammond, 64, and niece Victoria Hammond, 30, was seemingly in agreement over selling the place — besides Joseph.

On Sunday, they were set to meet with a realtor to begin that sale process, but that sadly never happened. NCPD Captain Stephen Fitzpatrick said in a press conference:

“They brought Starbucks and they assembled in the den area. The brother (Joseph) stayed behind.”

While they were awaiting the realtor’s arrival, Joseph apparently “decided that day to get a loaded, Mossberg shotgun, 12 gauge, approached them in the rear area of the house, and from the kitchen, fired 12 shots, striking all four of them multiple times.”

Holy s**t…

The police captain revealed:

“The perception of Joseph Jr. was that he was being cut out of the will and was going to be displaced without a place to go.”

And because of said “perception,” Joseph allegedly made the decision to remove his siblings and his niece from the equation… and himself, as well. Fitzpatrick added:

“He then took the weapon, went out to the front lawn, was shouting indiscriminately about what happened. A neighbor heard him doing this, called 911, and that was our 911 caller. He then fired a self-inflicted shot to the chest and killed himself.”

That is just so awful.

Fitzpatrick revealed Joseph had “past mental issues, psychological issues that were reported to us that we have not confirmed.” Apparently, in 2022, cops were called to the residence to conduct a welfare check. But at the time, he wasn’t “displaying any signs that he was dangerous to himself or others.” However, a neighbor reportedly told cops in an “unconfirmed” tip that Joseph “made statements in the past that if you hear gunshots, don’t bother calling 911 because it will be too late.”

WTF…

And get this: according to surviving family members via NBC New York, Joseph was NOT even being left out of the will as he reportedly believed. View more details on the tragic situation (below):

Last Tuesday, the 18-year-old posted a video to social media in which she revealed that she’s having trouble finding a place to rent in Denver, Colorado while she attends college at Regis University in the Mile High City. Sucks, right?! She noted in the video, originally uploaded on August 20, that her and boyfriend Dralin Carswell (who is living with her in Denver but not in school there) were in a housing crunch and needed to secure a place to move ASAP.

In the vid, Alana begged her social media followers to help find them a home, and claimed it was the presence of Dralin’s outstanding student loans on his credit that is freezing things up:

“The main problem is that Dralin has student loans on his credit, and the balance is greater than $1,000, so they will not accept our application.”

And Alana herself has “zero credit,” as she quickly added! She noted in that week-old video:

“Alana has no credit. Alana has zero credit. Alana’s trying to build her credit but literally zero. Zilch. And quite frankly, I’m starting to freak out that we do not have a house to move into September 1, and it’s August 20, okay? So, I need help, my Denver peeps. I need help to find us a house.”

And the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star concluded:

“I’m not really on the side of apartments. … our dog really needs a yard. But, at this point, anything counts. Please. I’m begging. Help.”

So stressful!! And it’s in the news again now, a week after Alana originally shared the video on TikTok, because Mama June re-posted it to her Instagram account on Monday night! As you can see (below), Mama June noted in the caption that her daughter and Dralin were still looking for a place to live ASAP in Denver:

Naturally, with the 45-year-old From Not To Hot star having re-posted the video, fans immediately popped up in the comments section with demands that Mama June help out! After all, Mama June has been accused of doing some SUPER shady s**t with Alana’s money in the past! And she hasn’t exactly denied using the teenager’s television earnings for herself when called on it, either! So, it made sense that fans started asking Mama June to step up financially for her daughter:

“Maybe have your mom or boyfriend’s mom co-sign for a place.”

“How bout you buy her a house MamaJune and then flip sell it when she graduates? If WE can rent a stunt house for Pumpkin y’all can’t do the same for Boo Boo?”

“Mama June, buy a condo/place in Colorado and let Lana and her man pay the mortgage.”

“Are y’all forgetting she only has been out of high school 1 year, how about her mom do something to help her daughter [now that] she’s in college.

“I pray that they find somewhere fast.”

But…

That might not be the whole story! Aside from whether Mama June is going to step up (doubtful, TBH, as she has big problems of her own), other fans pointed out in the comments that Dralin’s student loan debt is almost certainly NOT the issue holding things up! Instead, it’s possibly his criminal record!! They noted:

“It’s not the student loans that is holding it up it’s his past criminal record.”

“Doubtful it’s the student loans… more likely the arrest record.”

“Boyfriend needs to go home to Georgia. Stay on campus and enjoy these years.”

“A student loan debt will not prevent you from renting. There’s more to this story — it doesn’t add up!”

“Having a criminal record could have something to do with it to. I hope you find something.”

“It might be time to consider living in the dorms and the boyfriend goes back home until you graduate.”

“He thrives when he has work projects. He’s been great when it comes to the kids too. He’s doing exactly what he wants. He seems very happy.”

Oof. “Doing exactly what he wants” — that sure sounds like a jab to J.Lo, huh? Not sure if that was the intent here, but ouch!

When not keeping busy with work or hanging out with his rumored new girl Kick Kennedy, the 52-year-old has also been seen out and about with bestie Matt Damon. The pair were spotted going out to dinner in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Ben joined Matt, his wife Luciana Barroso, and their kids at the Italian restaurant Toscana. A family meal with Uncle Ben. TMZ described him as having a “pep in his step” as he entered the establishment and he was even seen laughing with the valet while heading out. Look:

One reason the actor may be moving on so easily is because, per the People source, the Good Will Hunting star felt he was “done with his marriage” for months. It ended for him when he moved out of their marital home and into a Brentwood rental earlier this year. They were first discovered to be living separately in mid-May, and J.Lo’s divorce docs state they’ve been separated since April 26. So, he’s been done with the romance for a LONG time, even if the marriage was still technically on.

While he’s putting on a brave face in public, the confidant insisted Ben was “upset” by the split at the time though, especially his move from the marital mansion, adding:

“You could tell that he was upset about it though. He knew he was letting [Lopez] down. He felt very bad about it.”

But, ultimately, he felt it was the only option:

“He and [Lopez] just have very different lifestyles. He realized he would never be happy with her lifestyle. And he didn’t expect it to change.”

A different insider said the Air director can be “very moody and dark at times” — which has been a rumored reason for the breakup. His personality was just too incompatible for the Let’s Get Loud singer, who “appreciates life in another way. She’s very grateful for everything.”

We guess they’ve each had time to privately mourn the end of the marriage behind closed doors since way before the divorce was filed, but it’s still kinda surprising to see Ben moving on seemingly so easily! According to TMZ on Monday morning, multiple El Lay real estate sources have confirmed that there has been absolutely no movement at all on the mansion sale. The A-list duo’s divorce announcement in the public sphere didn’t move the needle to get somebody to step up and want to buy the mansion. And there are NO serious deals or offers in place for it! Yikes!

Now, that outlet does note that the mansion has had “plenty” of showings since it first went on the market. People obviously want to see what that mega-mansion is all about! But nobody has liked it enough (and especially at that price) to make a bid for it. Also, it’s going to be incredibly tough to sell just because of how big it is, and how much it costs. There are only so many people in El Lay (or, really, the world) who would even be in the market for a mansion like that, ya know?!

There are other issues here, too. For one, the now-estranged couple first bought that house last year for $60 million, and then put a ton of money up to renovate it. And while they improved it some with those renovations, it’s a rough sell to ask for $8 million more after just a year, ya know?! That’s a HUGE price jump! Plus, the real estate market is super tough right now, and interest rates are pretty high.

Womp, womp!

So, for now, it sure sounds like this thing is just going to sit on the market. And sit mostly empty. And sit collecting dust. And meanwhile, Bennifer 2.0 is going to have to navigate the rest of their divorce and figure out where they both stand financially with this big “for sale” cloud hanging over their head!

At least it now seems like Ben can occupy his mind with something — er, someone — else. Yeah…

So to decompress, she met Travis Kelce at her iconic beach house in Rhode Island, where it looks like Blake is also taking the opportunity to unplug!

In the photos, the Gossip Girl alum can be seen sporting an orange bikini top and floral patterned shorts at the lavish mansion. That’s a hard realization to make after so many years of trying to ignore their differences!

But what was the straw that broke the camel’s back though? Sure, living apart may have helped J.Lo realize the marriage was doomed, but issues really started a year earlier when they bought their dream home… turned nightmare mansion!

We’ve heard for weeks now that the Air director “never liked” the $60 million Beverly Hills pad — but it turns out his hatred was so deep, it played a HUGE part in the breakup! Damn!! A second insider dished:

“If there was one final straw, it was Jennifer convincing Ben to buy that massive mansion. It wasn’t what he wanted or who he is.”

Jeez! Purchasing a house is such a big moment for a family. Usually it signifies hope for the future, a commitment to putting down roots together. So sad this property caused so many problems — and it must make Ben equally annoyed now that they’re struggling to sell it! By the way, Bennifer purchased that home in May 2023, almost a full year before the date of separation — so that tells you how long things have been rocky. Dang!

FWIW, the pop star clearly prefers to live a more lavish lifestyle (and she’s got the higher estimated net worth to pull it off), so the red flags were always there. Ben just looked the other way — until he couldn’t anymore. Pointing out their differences further, the first source noted:

“Jennifer loves luxury, mansions, jets, yachts, red carpets and all things glamorous. Ben has never liked those things. Unless he is promoting work, he doesn’t like the spotlight.”

Too bad they didn’t come to this realization before tying the knot! They could’ve avoided a lot of heartbreak!

From what we know, it appears Jennifer put down the exact date they decided to go their separate ways! So when did the Hustlers star begin searching for a new place? Those four days afterward? Did Jennifer get a head start on looking for a place that month once she got an inkling of where she and Ben were heading, just in case? According to the People insider, her search began around the separation date. So probably the former, but… maybe the latter? Clearly Ben settled on a place first, or a rental at least. Just so they didn’t have to be under the same roof.

From there, Ben and Jen attempted to surreptiously sell their mansion in Beverly Hills — the marital home they bought for $60 million. However, they couldn’t find a buyer the quiet way and so went public with the sale, listing the place for $68 million in July. Meanwhile, nearly a month before the divorce filing news broke, the Argo star purchased a more permanent place — a new five-bedroom home for a whopping $20.5 million. The place is described to People as “family-friendly” but “could easily be transformed into a bachelor pad.”

Whether J.Lo snagged a new house? It doesn’t seem so, unfortunately! We just heard she was looking for a place last week after living it up in the Hamptons over the summer. Still looking, eh? We guess she’s going to be pickier this time around before settling for a home that isn’t right for her…

Not only were there others who sent this to her, Deux acknowledged she had already heard this!

Now of course this is just a rumor. But if it’s multiple people reaching out from the area, there must be something to it, right? Someone knows someone who knows a realtor who can’t keep a secret? That kind of thing?

After months of speculation, J.Lo FINALLY filed for divorce on Tuesday, two years after the couple tied the knot in a lavish Georgia ceremony. According to TMZ insiders, the couple didn’t sign a prenup before saying “I do,” which is pretty crazy considering how rich and famous they both are. Plus, this isn’t their first rodeo, either!

According to the entertainment website Koimoi earlier this year, they have a combined estimated net worth of $640 million. Meanwhile, Celebrity Net Worth lists Jenny from the Block‘s net worth as a staggering $400 million with an estimated salary of $40 million a year. Damn. Ben, on the other hand, is reportedly only worth an estimated $150 million. That’s a HUGE difference — and a LOT of money between the two of them!!!

Now, because they reportedly don’t have a prenup, all the income they made while they were married (beginning on July 16, 2022) has become “community property” which they will have to divide up. With net worths as high as theirs and the fact that they were booked and busy these last few years, there is a lot at stake!

First off, they have to deal with their Beverly Hills mansion, which they purchased for just over $60 million last year. It’s been on the market all summer and is currently going for $68 million. But so far, no one’s biting.

Then, perhaps more pressing, is their film work. Both of them were VERY busy during their marriage — though their projects had quite different outcomes. Let’s start with Ben. He worked on a ton, including Air (which he starred in and directed). It made $90 million at the box office and was up for tons of awards.

Per IMDb, he was a producer on the series City on a Hill and movies Kiss the Future, Air, For People in Trouble, Small Things Like These, The Instigators, and NINE upcoming projects including Keeper of the Lost Cities (which he’s set to direct), Matt Damon-led Animals (slated to direct), Flash Before the Bang, Hugh Jackman‘s Apostle Paul, Thirst, Witness for the Prosecution (which he’ll also act in), and The Accountant 2 (which he’ll star in). He’s also producing two movies starring his estranged wife: Kiss of the Spider Woman and Unstoppable, which stars both of them and is set to premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival next month. Damn!!

Also, he made appearances in The Flash and J.Lo’s This is Me… Now musical movie and Greatest Love Story Never Told documentary. Other film credits in these two years include Deep Water, Clerks III, and Hypnotic. He’s currently in pre-production on a new movie called RIP, too. Phew. That’s a LOT!!

As for Jennifer, she starred and produced a ton of projects including Marry Me, The Mother, This Is Me… Now, and Atlas. She also executive produced the series Good Trouble which came to an end this year. Along with starring in Kiss of the Spider, she’s also producing Bob the Builder and The Godmother, which are both in pre-production. In addition, she starred in Shotgun Wedding, several of her music videos, and the Dunkin “DunKings” commercial with her ex-lover. But that’s not all!

Jennifer also made waves in April when she launched her new alcohol company Delola and she’s been running JLo Beauty since 2020. Plus, she released This Is Me…Then (20th Anniversary Edition) in 2022 and This Is Me… Now this year. The new tunes flopped, sadly, but it still generated some money!

Those are all the obvious assets and streams of income we can find. There could be more, too, such as brand deals. We know Ben’s been working a ton for Dunkin, and who knows what other deals the couple may have made.

At the moment, it’s unclear if the pair will engage in a messy battle over funding — but it seems possible! Why? Well, last month, a source close to the pop star told The Blast that the mother of two is PISSED after supposedly spending the most during the marriage. The insider claimed:

“One of the little-known secrets is Jennifer paid for much of their marital expenses and now she feels he owes her. She’s adding up all those private jet bills she puts on her plastic, the hotels, and meals, clothes, coffee runs, gas. The high cost of living was done on her dime. She paid the lion’s share for that $60 million mansion they bought, too.”

The source said Ben “always grumbled about spending money,” which is why Jennifer chose to pay for most things herself (so as not to hear more complaints about her spending habits). But now, she wants her money back and reportedly plans to fight for half his estimated net worth. Yeesh!! The source dished:

“Ben took so much money out of her, at least that’s what she’s saying.”

Also, the reason she’s so hell-bent on getting her money back is reportedly because she’s not the one to blame for the end of the romance. But once they hit troubled waters, it opened her eyes to how much Ben had mooched off her, making it so that now she’s “demanding a full inventory of what she spent versus what he spent and wants all the money back.” They added:

The Duke of York signed a 75-year lease on the property in the early 2000s, so he has no intention of leaving. Still, Charles is fighting against his stay and wants the co-parents to move into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s old place, Frogmore Cottage. Last we heard, His Majesty was tired of funding his younger bro’s ritzy lifestyle — and now he’s doing something about it!

On Sunday, The Sun reported that Charles has stripped Andrew of his 10-person private security team!

Just like Harry, when Andrew stopped being a working royal following his Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre scandal, he lost his police protection. He also lost his annual allowance, per Us Weekly. Unlike the Duke of Sussex, Charles has been helping Andrew maintain police protection at the 31-room mansion, where the private security team was stationed. But according to a Palace insider via The Sun, all this is coming to an end. They dished:

“Everyone is speculating this means the Duke will have to leave the Royal Lodge because what other reason could there be to take his security away? They are all working the final weeks of their contract till the end of October. It’s not thought anyone is being lined up to replace them. It isn’t a secret that the King wants him out.”

Wow! It’s currently unclear if Andrew plans to pay for his own security detail or what his next steps are.

Interestingly, sources also told the outlet that the Royal Household has no plans to move any other royals into the property (should Andrew ever leave). Instead, they want to find a new tenant for the place. They’re probably looking for a way to make some money off the property, which requires expensive upkeep every year. As the current tenant, Andrew is supposed to be responsible for $503,000 a year of upkeep, but photos obtained of the property suggest he’s been avoiding doing the necessary work, The Mirror reported in May. This is yet another reason Charles may want him out.

Meanwhile, two apartments are being refurbished at Kensington Palace but neither of them is being saved for Andrew, The Sun noted. That said, it doesn’t sound like he has been persuaded to leave his abode yet, but it’s interesting that Charles is threatening him with the security! Previously, The Times sources claimed one of the big reasons the 75-year-old wanted Andrew at Frogmore was because it “has the benefit of being within the Windsor Castle security cordon hence reducing the need for alternative round-the-clock security for Royal Lodge.” So, now it seems like Charles is trying to force Andrew’s hand.

There’s just one problem with his plan. According to The Sun, Charles is still paying Andrew £4 million a year to keep him afloat. This is seemingly unrelated to the money he spent on the mansion’s security detail. (Why does he need with that much money if he’s not working or paying for his own security? Jeez!) If Charles really wants to stick it to Andrew, he could revoke all his brother’s funding. We bet Andy would listen to his demands then! But right now, it doesn’t seem like the King is ready to be that mean! We’ll see what happens if this eviction debate rages on, though!

Despite this battle, the father of Princess Beatrice and Eugenie arrived at Balmoral Castle on Friday for a summer holiday, the outlet noted, where he will join Charles and other family members for a vacation. So, they may be beefing over this house, but it’s not a complete rift!
