Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones is breaking his silence six months after filing his bombshell lawsuit against Diddy.

Back in February, the music producer launched a shocking lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records founder, alleging everything from sexual harassment and sexual assault to being drugged, groped, forced to sleep with sex workers, not getting paid for his work on the rapper’s 2023 record The Love Album: Off the Grid, as well as much, much more. On Monday, Diddy’s camp attempted to have the lawsuit dismissed in Manhattan federal court. But now, Rodney is hitting back.

In a sprawling conversation with Rolling Stone published on Tuesday, the plaintiff alleged that in the wake of his filing, it’s been near impossible for him to find work in the industry:

“Because of this lawsuit, most people don’t want to come near working with me for whatever reasons, whether they’ve been in partnership with Puff or they want to just sit back and see what happens. He’s a gatekeeper in the music industry.”

He added:

“In this industry, to be successful, you have to have worked with someone like him or Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Kanye or 50 Cent. So many people I’ve worked with have had business deals with him. I reached out to try to get a deal for my album, and people don’t want to get involved.”

Obviously, if that’s true, that’s a pretty raw deal for somebody who has up to this point made his livelihood in music…

The producer speculated:

“People are too scared, whatever their reasons are, to touch this. My name is all over the [Love Album] credits, so I had to have done some producing. It got a Grammy nomination. And I’m sitting here doing nothing, unable to work. This is not right.”

And seemingly amid all the legal fees and lack of income, Rodney has hit a wall:

“I’m broke. I have no source of income right now. Every month I’m trying to figure out how the bills are going to get paid.”

Oof. That’s awful!! He cited a show that he did for Juneteenth at the Hollywood Bowl with T-Pain, but noted that showing his face there amid the ongoing legal issues was nothing short of terrifying:

“Doing that show, I had a couple mental breakdowns. I almost felt like it was too soon for me to try to come back outside to work. My anxiety was out the roof. I saw different guys backstage I didn’t know and got scared. I wondered where the security was. It made me very uncomfortable. It’s not a good feeling wondering if someone was there to attack me.”

He added:

“I’ve got three therapists. Everybody saw the video of Cassie. This is who I’m dealing with.”

Poor dude! Looking over your shoulder like that must be exhausting… Especially when he was just trying to make some money to afford his bills! And Rodney clearly feels wronged for being ousted from the biz, because he feels that all he’s trying to do is bring “justice” for himself and others affected by Diddy. He told the news org:

“Here I am standing up for justice, for what I believe is right for my life, and I’m being punished for that. I’m blackballed, for sure. I’ve had many nights and weeks and months of suicidal thoughts. It’s the music that has kept me living all my life.”

“Suicidal thoughts”? Oof. That’s just SO horrible that he’s been driven to that point.

Speaking directly about Diddy, he added:

“He’s a monster. He’ll do whatever is necessary to get exactly what he wants. He doesn’t take no for an answer. He [told me] himself, ‘I’ll smack my mama.’ Anybody who can say that even jokingly is a monster. He’s nothing to be played with. For a person whose brand is Love Records, and changed their name to Love and named their kid Love, he doesn’t show love. He’s just marketing.”

Back in late February, music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, who had worked on Diddy‘s most recent album The Love Album: Off The Grid, filed a lawsuit against the music mogul. In it, Jones accused the man born as Sean Combs of sexual harassment and sexual assault, as well as drugging and threatening the producer. But now, Diddy is fighting back against those jaw-dropping claims! And HARD!

According to TMZ on Monday, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo popped up in federal court in Manhattan this morning to file a request for dismissal of Jones’ suit. Per that news outlet, Agnifilo claims Jones’ lawsuit is nothing more than a cash grab — and NOT the reveal of harassment, assault, trafficking, or anything else.

As you may recall, Jones claimed in his late February lawsuit that he traveled with Puff from September 2022 to November 2023. During that time, he said that he was making tracks for Diddy’s album “under an implied work-for-hire agreement,” meaning he was allegedly not paid for his work even though Combs, Universal Music Group, Motown Records, and Love Records were all supposedly enriched from his talents.

That was only the tip of the iceberg, though. Jones stated in the initial filing six months ago that he was allegedly forced to find sex workers for Diddy while the rapper was traveling, and was even pressured into engaging in unwanted sex acts with them in order to please the music mogul.

Among the claims made by Lil Rod include an assertion that he once had to walk into a Miami establishment wearing a Bad Boy Entertainment baseball cap in order to announce to sex workers that Diddy was in town. Jones also claimed that he was forced to engage in acts with those workers. He also noted that Diddy supposedly gave alcoholic beverages laced with drugs to them and other people who partied at the mogul’s home. Even more disturbing, that group allegedly included underage girls, too, according to Lil Rod.

Jones took things even a step further than that, claiming Diddy sexually harassed and assaulted him at homes in Florida, Los Angeles, New York, and even on a yacht the musician had rented for himself and a group in the US Virgin Islands. Per the suit, that behavior on Diddy’s part allegedly included “constant unsolicited and unauthorized groping and touching of [Jones’] anus.” Oh, and Jones claimed he also had to work on tracks in Diddy’s bathroom — while the rapper showered naked behind a glass wall!!

But now, Diddy’s dismissal request has come through. Per this new TMZ report from early on Monday, Agnifilo says in the dismissal docs that Jones and his lawyer Tyrone Blackburn are trying to do nothing more than score a quick monetary settlement. Specifically, Agnifilo cites a video Jones recently posted on social media alongside the rapper Uncle Murda. In it, the two men can be seen laughing about Lil Rod’s lawsuit, with Jones claiming at one point that Diddy needed to “pay him that money by Monday,” because he is from Chicago and doesn’t “play about our business.”

Legally, Diddy’s team argued that Jones failed to prove in his initial suit that his “business or property” was injured under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act — more commonly known as RICO. And as far as the sex trafficking and assault allegations against Diddy go, Agnifilo claims Jones’ lawyer never offered any claim under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 which showed that the producer was forced to commit any sexual acts in exchange for money or other compensation.

Diddy’s lawyers toss out a bunch of secondary arguments in their dismissal filing, too, per TMZ. That outlet notes that Agnifilo called bull s**t on Jones’ claims of emotional distress, breach of oral contract, and the fact that Jones supposedly failed to provide specific details describing the exact sexual assaults in his initial lawsuit.

Upon learning of the newly-filed dismissal request, Blackburn clapped back hard. Jones’ attorney told this to TMZ when it came to reacting to Diddy’s latest move:

“This is clearly a billing exercise by Combs’ latest set of attorneys, who are late to the game and are attempting to fill their pockets with this Hail Mary motion to dismiss before their client is indicted.”

Damn!!

Still, as you may recall, Diddy’s lawyers have been pretty aggressive in their denials of the lawsuit’s claims right from the very start. Back in February, after the suit was first filed, attorney Shawn Holley slammed Jones’ allegations by saying that “reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines.” At the time, Holley continued:

“We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”

For those who missed it, there was — against all odds — an arrest was made late last year for the shooting of Tupac Shakur. 27 years after the drive-by, a gangbanger named Duane “Keefe D” Davis was charged with murder with use of a deadly weapon. He was a person of interest nearly from the start, but it took over two decades to get the indictment.

Keefe D was a well-known member of the South Compton Crips, but he was also a friend of rappers Eazy-E and Sean “Diddy” Combs. Folks have wondered about Diddy’s involvement in the shooting for many years as well due to the rivalry between his East Coast Bad Boy Records and Pac’s West Coast outfit, Death Row Records, run by the infamous Suge Knight. But there was never anything concrete. Now that prosecutors have Keefe D, they may have a witness against Puff!

According to new court docs obtained by The US Sun, Keefe D told authorities it was Diddy who paid for the hit! A MILLION DOLLARS, no less!

The documents describe a harrowing incident in which Keefe flew to New York City for a Los Angeles police task force — going undercover to try to gather evidence on Combs and gangster Eric “Zip” Martin:

“Task Force Detectives believed they had jurisdiction to investigate a Nevada homicide because Defendant asserted that the conspiracy to commit the murder began in California between Defendant, Eric ‘Zip’ Martin, and Sean Combs.”

Whoa! Keefe D apparently later tried to deny being a snitch:

“Defendant [Keefe] has asserted publicly that he only told on himself and wasn’t trying to provide evidence against anyone else in his conversations with police.”

However, per prosecutors, he had already very much told on Diddy and Zip:

“However, this statement belies this claim, as he suggested that Sean Combs paid Eric Von Martin a million dollars for the killings.”

The docs include a summary of a YT interview given by Keefe in which he implicates Diddy:

“When Sean Combs reaches out to Defendant wondering if South Side Crips were responsible for Shakur’s death by asking, ‘Is that us?’ Defendant, beaming with pride, answers, ‘Yes.'”

“Is that us?” Us. As in Diddy, too! But there’s more. A lot more.

Also included in the docs? In 2009, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police carried out a “Surreptitiously Recorded Interview” with Keefe in which he mentions how the Crips were “friends” with Diddy, who wanted Suge and Tupac dead. In that interview he outright admits he and some pals “accidentally” passed Suge and Tupac’s car on the road after that Mike Tyson boxing match. Like, they just happened to pass one another. Wild.

Keefe then said, per the docs, that he and his nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson opened fire on the car. When police ask straight up, “Puffy Combs… Does he play a role in this thing?” Keefe replies:

“Yeah, I think he did.”

He recalls Diddy telling a room full of about 45 guys, many gang members, he “would give anything” for Suge Knight’s “head” — because he was “scared” of the producer. That and he was pissed off at Tupac over a diss track. Yeesh. After the shooting, Keefe says in the recording, he and his pals believed Diddy would pay them:

“I knew we was like damn, we can get paid now.”

Cops ask, “When you said paid, paid by Puffy, right?” Keefe answers:

“Yeah.”

And before you wonder if this was a misunderstanding, Keefe says Diddy did pay — only he paid his pal Zip instead! Keefe told cops he tried to get the money for himself, since he was the one who pulled the trigger, but Diddy ghosted him. He said he regretted killing Tupac and complained:

“I wish I never met Puff Daddy, period. I swear to God…He messed up my life, man. I was, I was rich, up under the radar, all that, man…it’s all gone.”

Geez.

It should be noted Keefe D has also claimed anything he previously said about being involved in Tupac’s shooting, such as in interviews on YouTube or in the book Compton Street Legend, was just a fictional account, made up to grift money. Does that make sense why he’d lie to the cops though?? In a “Surreptitiously Recorded Interview”??

All of this was part of a filing by prosecutors to oppose Keefe’s bail request. Wild that they mentioned Diddy so many times in it… Was it incidental??

We’ll have to see what prosecutors believe and what they don’t — and mostly what they think they can prove about Diddy. In all, per the Sun, he’s mentioned in these new docs a whopping 77 times. You do NOT want to be mentioned in murder trial documents even once.

Of course, as previously mentioned, the rumor of Diddy’s involvement in Tupac’s murder has been around for years. And so have the rapper’s denials! He told AllHipHip.com in 2008 after the story of Keefe’s accusation first came out:

“This story is beyond ridiculous and completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself.”

The LA Times even took down their story and published a retraction, writing:

“An article and related materials published on the Los Angeles Times website on March 17, 2008 have been removed from the site because they relied heavily on information that The Times no longer believes to be credible.”

Obviously no criminal charges were ever filed against Diddy in relation to the killing. Clearly they’ve never thought there was enough credible evidence against Combs. Hell, maybe they never bought Keefe D’s story completely to begin with. But they do think they have enough to prosecute him now. But Diddy? That’s a different story.

This is all resurfacing, of course, after the many accusations against Diddy which have surfaced in the past few months. His homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security, reportedly as part of an investigation into possible sex trafficking, drugs, and guns. Was he also guilty of murder for hire? One of the most famous killings of all time??

In a new essay for The New York Times on Friday, former editor-in-chief for Vibe, Danyel Smith, claimed the disgraced rapper threatened her life after a heated argument over his magazine covers for the December 1997/January 1998 issues. The 59-year-old editor recalled that Diddy demanded to see the images before publication a few days after shooting the cover shots, inspired by the 1978 Warren Beatty film poster for Heaven Can Wait. However, it was against their policy at the time. When she told him no, he allegedly did not take it well! Danyel said:

“After I told him no, we heard that he planned to come to our office and force us to show him what we’d chosen — and to make us choose something else if he didn’t like what he saw.”

Just in case, the veteran journalist alleged they created a safety plan for her if Diddy did show up at the offices in New York City. She noted the music mogul already “had a reputation for shaking tables” after being found guilty of criminal mischief in 1996 for threatening a New York Post photographer with a gun. There were also allegations he attacked a woman at his Bad Boy Records offices back then. So, to be better safe than sorry, they ensured Danyel would be OK if Diddy stepped foot in the Vibe building. Well, she sadly had to use the safety plan!

The Bad Boy Records founder did eventually stop by the offices to talk about the magazine covers, so Danyel was put into a cab to get away from him. However, she couldn’t avoid him for long. The following day, Danyel claimed she received a phone call from Diddy, who pushed to see the photos in advance. She once again denied the request due to the policy at Vibe. Rather than accepting it, though, Diddy allegedly threatened her. Danyel claimed:

“It was then that Combs told me, as I’ve retold hundreds of times over the years, that he would see me ‘dead in the trunk of a car.’”

OMG!!!

Who threatens to harm someone like this over a magazine cover? What the f**k! Danyel said she immediately told him “to take that threat back.” To which she remembered him replying:

“Take what back?”

And after giving a “vile laugh,” he allegedly added:

“‘[Expletive] you. I know where you are right now. Right on Lexington.’”

So scary! Danyel quickly contacted an attorney and threatened to take legal action against him. It was only then that Diddy faxed over an apology to her two hours later. However, that was not the end of the issue. Danyel went on to say the magazine servers were mysteriously stolen from the office not long after she argued with the record producer. Given the completed issue was on one of those servers, she noted it was believed his label was behind the robbery. Whoa. Fortunately, Vibe still released the magazine as their art director had it saved on a disk! They got super lucky.

As you know, this story comes amid the ongoing legal issues Diddy is dealing with lately. He faces several lawsuits from multiple people accusing him of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and more. There’s also an ongoing federal criminal investigation into the sex trafficking allegations against him. Previously, the Coming Home artist vehemently denied the accusations. He has yet to speak out on the claim made by Danyel.

That includes activities like going white water rafting earlier this month in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He followed up with an Instagram Story video of himself boarding a private plane on over the weekend. Very bougie — especially for someone facing so many lawsuits! Taken together, it all seems to suggest that he’s not worried or remorseful for his actions. And because of that, his accusers are now even more upset!

Speaking to TMZ on Tuesday, Cassie Ventura‘s lawyer Douglas Wigdor said:

“I don’t think white water rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead.”

As Perezcious readers know, Cassie was the first to accuse Puff Daddy, born Sean Combs, of domestic violence. The two of them then quickly reached a settlement. He first tried to deny ever doing anything wrong to her, but he was caught red-handed when a hotel security tape showed him attacking his then-girlfriend in a hallway several years ago. He then released a since-deleted apology as more and more victims have come forward, including Adria English.

The former adult entertainer filed a new lawsuit against the musician last week accusing him of grooming her into sex trafficking. Diddy yet again denied the allegations, but after witnessing him continue to live his lavish lifestyle, she’s even more ready to battle it out in court. Her attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd told the outlet:

“After seeing Defendant Combs white water rafting and jetting around on his personal plane, seemingly enjoying life despite all the atrocities he has caused and has been accused of by countless individuals over decades, Mrs. English is even more motivated to ensure justice prevails.”

The lawyer added:

“Mrs. English and all the other Plaintiffs who have filed lawsuits throughout the country against Defendant Combs are individuals with limited resources fighting for justice after being marginalized, abused and exploited by a billionaire.”

Naturally, they’re all frustrated to see him living it up on such expensive trips amid all this! But the legal professional also accused Diddy of trying to sell his mansion for sympathy, arguing:

“We are not moved by Defendant Combs’ recent attempt at selling his California home or attempt to portray himself as a man of scarcity by needing to liquidate assets when, for decades, Defendant Combs has touted himself as an ultra-successful billionaire of multiple businesses.”

The Sean John founder is currently trying to off-load his $40 million LA home (the one that was involved in a Homeland Security raid earlier this year) for $70 million, which real estate sources insist is a “pipe dream,” per the outlet. That in and of itself suggests he’s not that desperate for money! Because of all this, Ariel concluded:

“We look forward to not only our day in Court but the day for all the other Plaintiffs and the actions of the federal government in protecting their citizens from people like Defendant Combs.”

Last month, Diddy deleted all his Instagram posts — including his apology to Cassie. But he continues to post occasionally on his Story. He might be trying to get a fresh start with that, but his victims aren’t going to let him off that easily! And in fact, he might only be making his legal trouble worse by flaunting his pricey lifestyle amid all this drama! Reactions? Sound OFF (below)!

Diddy is facing a new lawsuit, this time from a former adult entertainer accusing him of grooming her into sex trafficking.

According to documents obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, Adria English — whose porn star name was Omunique — claimed she first met the disgraced rapper in 2004 when her boyfriend auditioned for a modeling gig with his clothing company Sean John. From the very beginning, Diddy allegedly exhibited sketchy behavior with her. She claimed her boyfriend and another model were asked to perform oral sex on the music mogul in order to get the job. However, her man refused.

Despite his refusal, Adria said her boyfriend got a second chance when another Diddy associate offered him the job afterward. However, there allegedly was a catch to the offer! He would get the position as long as Adria worked as a “go-go dancer” for the Bad Boy Records founder’s white party in the Hamptons over Labor Day weekend, per the lawsuit. She and her boyfriend agreed to the terms, and she went on to work at the party, with the outlet sharing an alleged pic of her there in 2004.

From there, Adria continued to work other parties for the 54-year-old record producer, where she allegedly was encouraged to flirt with guests and consume alcohol laced with narcotics or ecstasy. But things went way past flirting eventually, according to the suit. While the performer didn’t sleep with the guests at first, she claimed Diddy “groomed” her into sex trafficking over time.

It all started when he allegedly demanded she have sex with Jacob Arabov — also known as Jacob the Jeweler. After she had “forced sexual intercourse” with him, she claims, Diddy congratulated her for doing as directed and paid her an additional $1,000. And this wasn’t just a one-time thing, either. Adria allegedly was “passed off” to other people at Diddy’s parties and sexually assaulted by them.

She said he promised to advance her career in the music business, even helping her get into a girl group. However, he used those aspirations against her with threats to blackball her and her boyfriend from the industry if they didn’t comply with his demands. Adria eventually escaped Diddy and went to California in 2009. Once she stopped working for him, he followed through on his threats, she alleges, blackballing her and her beau in retaliation.

So, so awful…

Adria claimed she suffered emotional trauma, such as intimacy issues and painful memories as a result of the alleged sex trafficking. In addition to Diddy, Bad Boy, Jacob the Jeweler, a woman named Tamiko Thomas, and others were also listed as defendants in the suit. Adria specifically accused Thomas of facilitating Diddy’s sex trafficking operation. She even went as far as to liken her to Ghislaine Maxwell, who was found guilty of child sex trafficking and other offenses in connection with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Whoa!

Sources told TMZ on Wednesday that the Bad Boy Records founder is attempting to sell the place for a whopping $70 MILLION… which is nearly double the $40 million he purchased it for in 2014! Yeesh, THAT much more than the OG price?! Is this a sign that he’s in need of cash??

In terms of specs, it’s 17,000 square feet, and it’s got eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. It also boasts a home gym, wine room, pool, and a 35-person movie theater. It also apparently has a 3,000 square foot guest house on the lot. But despite all those amenities, sources told TMZ that Diddy apparently wants to leave LA behind amid all his culminating legal drama.
