Taylor Swift and beau Travis Kelce hosted an A-lister bash at her Rhode Island holiday house, which included a lot of famous faces. We got wind of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes being in attendance, along with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, as well as Trav’s big bro Jason and his wife Kylie, among others.

Trav had to take off in the early morning to get back to work. But the party kept going apparently! The weekend may have been over, but on Monday more guests showed up — like Channing and fiancé Zoë Kravitz, fresh off the premiere of their critically acclaimed movie Blink Twice.

Unfortunately, though, according to a report from In Touch Weekly, Channing’s weekend was filled with frustration. His partying was brought to an abrupt halt when he had to stop and sign some legal docs for his court battle with ex Jenna Dewan.

As Perezcious readers know, the divorce has gotten messier over the past few months, reportedly over Magic Mike money. But he can’t even go to a house party without having to work on it? Oof!

As for what these filings were about? According to the outlet, the papers were the 44-year-old firing back at his ex-wife’s attempt to disqualify his divorce lawyers.

Jenna apparently claimed he used the same firm during their marriage, so there’s a conflict, and these papers he signed over the weekend were his rebuttal. In the docs, the actor accused Jenna of attempting to disqualify his lawyers as a “transparent attempt to divert the court’s attention from her willful violation of her court order deposition and discovery deadlines, delay these proceedings and to prejudice [Channing] by ousting his lead trail counsel less than three months before trial on a case that has been pending for more than six years.”

He also said the firm he hired never once represented his ex:

“Neither law firm has ever had any possession of any of Petitioner’s confidential information. And, there is no applicable legal authority to support Petitioner’s claim that the attorney-client privilege extends to a spouse of a minority shareholder of a business entity.”

The 21 Jump Street star’s lawyer also jumped in and accused the professional dancer of just trying to delay the case from progressing:

“Contrary to [Jenna’s] claims, [Channing] has fully complied with his discovery obligations and thus, that is not and cannot be a basis to delay the Court-ordered depositions and discovery or other Court-ordered deadlines any further. [Jenna] has known about Glaser Weil’s co-representation of [Channing] in this action with Blank Rome since May 2024. Yet, she waited until the eve of [Jenna’s] deposition (two months later) to make the baseless allegations.”

Channing is asking that Jenna’s motion to try and get his lawyers sacked be denied, as well as sanction her $20k for her motion and to “deter such obstreperous conduct in the future”. Oof. Yeah, we can’t imagine all that was very much fun taking care of during a T-Swizzle house party. “Oh sorry can’t hit the pool right now, gotta look over divorce papers…”

IEWU began filming in May 2023 — just three days prior to the Writers Guild of America strike. You know, the one which barred guild members — like Ryan — from writing for Hollywood productions until the strike ended in late September??

If Ryan truly rewrote the scene during filming, as she said, he did so against strike rules! That’s right! Her so-called superhero was actually being a SCAB! Heck, it’s possible she went to her hubby because the film’s actual writer wasn’t allowed to touch up the scene! If that’s true, Ryan could get in big trouble! All because Blake wanted to brag about how cool and funny her husband was? Oof.

The WGA hasn’t officially commented on the matter, but a source told Variety he put in his writing efforts for the film in April 2023. Oh, well isn’t that convenient? We guess it would be tricky to prove when he put pen to paper. But damn. That’s messed up if true!

In the photos, the Gossip Girl alum can be seen sporting an orange bikini top and floral patterned shorts at the lavish mansion. “Blake is definitely saddened by the hate she is getting and is trying not to let it affect her, but it is. She thought this was her moment to shine but is now looking at it like the end of her career. She’s fearing no one will want to work with her after this. She really wants to continue producing and directing and acting, but she knows she needs to take a step back for a minute to reassess the future.”

It sounds like we won’t see or hear from Blake for a while! Or at least until the dust settles! Perhaps there is some truth to those rumors circulating that she and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, are fleeing Hollywood to move to North Carolina to wait out the storm. Hmm. Only time will tell if the Green Lantern star’s career is over for good due to this scandal. One thing we do know is that Blake should not plan on having the sequel to IEWU lined up if no other projects come her way these days! “My birthday cakes always have a little bit of a sense of humor. For my baby I just did a giant set of tits. Which I feel like will haunt him for life. But, what do they want at one? He can’t declare what he wants. So, boobs!”

The A Simple Favor star is a big baker and often makes birthday cakes and pies for her family (the latter being her husband Ryan Reynolds‘ favorite). So, it’s no surprise that she had some fun with this dessert. BTW, the boob cake was for her son Olin. He’s 1 year old, so it’s literally his first cake.

She went on to show the radio talk show crew the photo, enthusiastically sharing:

They apparently butted heads over creative differences while making the film — and some other shady s**t may have happened, too.

But what most fans have been upset by lately is the way Blake and the rest of her castmates ignored Justin during the press tour, something they felt was rude and sparked tons of other resurfaced rude interview clips of Blake to go viral. Given all that context, reactions to this cake story were mixed. Some thought it was in good fun as a mom, others felt like she was trying WAY too hard to be fun and “naughty” giving her baby the type of cake you’d see at a bachelor party.

Multiple sources reached out to DeuxMoi this week to tell her about a rumor that’s starting to kick up in Charlotte, North Carolina. Apparently there’s word on the Southern street that Blake and Ryan are about to move in! One wrote:

“this is so random, but I’m from Charlotte NC, and there’s gossip that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are buying a house there and sending their kids to this rly wealthy private school??????”

Not only were there others who sent this to her, Deux acknowledged she had already heard this!

Now of course this is just a rumor. But if it’s multiple people reaching out from the area, there must be something to it, right? Someone knows someone who knows a realtor who can’t keep a secret? That kind of thing?

If you saw the latest Marvel superhero movie, you may have noticed at the end of the credits a single line reads, “For Henry Delaney.” For those who don’t know, that was in reference to a very sad story. Henry is the late son of star Rob Delaney, who memorably plays adorably normal guy Peter in the franchise. Henry died of a brain tumor at just 2 years old. It was a devastating loss.

And Ryan is opening up about why it was so important to include the dedication that, for once, was completely somber and not at all a joke.

In an Instagram post dedicated to Rob on Tuesday, the 47-year-old gushed about his “funny,” “beautiful,” “acerbic,” and “vulnerable” friend who suffered a loss like no other six years ago. Ryan wrote:

“If you stayed through the credits of Deadpool & Wolverine, you might notice a credit saying, “For Henry Delaney”. Henry is Rob’s son. And Rob lost his little boy to a brain tumor in 2018. Right as we finished Deadpool 2.”

He continued:

“I’ve always kicked my own ass because I didn’t place a tribute to Henry over the end credits of DP2. If there’s a bright side, even more people are seeing Henry’s name in the credits of Deadpool & Wolverine. And at long last, father and son are sharing the same screen.”

We’ve heard extremes on both ends. A couple sources have said Justin body-shamed Blake with a comment about her weight! Even if he was trying to be tactful as we’ve heard, it was still horribly insulting to a woman who just gave birth to her fourth child. Others have said he was downright dictatorial and almost method acting as his abusive character. Yeesh.

On the other hand, production insiders have accused Blake and hubby Ryan Reynolds of hijacking the film from the less-well-known Justin so they could create a business opportunity for her.

We may never know the full extent either (or both) of these are true. But we have heard one juicy new tidbit. On her latest podcast DeuxMoi revealed she’s been getting tips about the movie set problems for months! Most of what she had in her back emails has already come out… Her sources mostly agreed Justin was tough to work with, with one saying he had a “huge ego” and wasn’t who he portrayed himself to be in public. Others corroborated the story about Blake and Ryan hiring their own editor out of pocket to make her cut of the movie — and though Justin’s tested better, Blake used her star power and friendship with author Colleen Hoover to get her way, telling Sony she wouldn’t promote the movie if they didn’t use her version. One even said she told them she’d get Taylor Swift to block them from using her song! DAMN!

But that’s all stuff we’ve pretty much heard before — not this one thing. An anonymous source from the set told Deux:

“Justin was a major d**k to everyone on set, and to top it off didn’t want any feedback from Blake when she had really great input. It got so contentious that they had to rehearse scenes apart with stand-ins and only actually saw each other for the actual scene shooting.”

Whoa! So when we’re hearing about factions developing on set, this wasn’t a secret thing. If these two wouldn’t even be on set together except for the filming when they absolutely had to, everyone would have known about it! Hell, she’s a producer on the movie, and he’s the director! This is worse than some of the other on-set conflicts we’ve followed lately then… and just might join the club of legendary star wars we’ve heard about over the years.

Here are a few other co-stars who refused to be on set together…

Jerome Flynn & Lena Headey

According to a tea-spilling Game Of Thrones crew member, Queen Cersei and Ser Bronn of the Blackwater are never in scenes together because the stars won’t even be in the same room!

Believe it or not, the two characters have never exchanged a word on the show, and have only ever been in the same shot once in a scene — without even looking at one another.

Fans will remember in the Season 7 finale Bronn leaves to “have a drink while the fancy folks talk.” And in Season 8, Episode 1 Cersei hires Bronn — but she sends her right hand man Qyburn to speak to him.

Rumor has it the actors, who briefly date IRL in 2002, had such a contentious breakup they now have to be kept apart at all costs.

We don’t know what they did to one another, but if they’re willing to make an entire TV production plan around them it must have been BAD.

The Rock and Vin Diesel

From their first meeting in Fast Five, Dominic Toretto and Luke Hobbs were on opposite sides of the law — but it turned out that animosity extended beyond the screen.

During the filming of the eighth movie in the Fast and Furious franchise, The Rock posted on social media about dealing with a “candy ass” on set. And it quickly became clear which costar he was talking about. Vin Diesel may have copped to the feud — but never to the initial reason. The closest we got was Johnson going on the record to Rolling Stone:

“Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer. And what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not.”

The result of all of this seems to have been the delay of FF 9, with The Rock’s spinoff with Jason Statham, Hobbs And Show, being pushed into production next — much to the chagrin of Tyrese Gibson, who started his own beef over the need to get paid on another of these films.

We doubt if The Rock will even return to the franchise proper, especially now that Vin has announced his wrestling rival John Cena is joining the next installment.
He finished his statement to RS:

“Right now I’m concentrating on making the spinoff as good as it can be. But I wish him all the best, and I harbor no ill will there, just because of the clarity we have… Actually, you can erase that last part about ‘no ill will.’ We’ll just keep it with the clarity.”

Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts

I Love Trouble is largely forgotten, but the feud at its center will live in Hollywood infamy.

The 1994 film, about two reporters facing down danger to uncover a major crime, was meant to evoke the screwball romantic comedies of the 1940s, with Roberts and Nolte playing hated rivals who end up teaming up and then falling in love. However the enmity between the two stars was all too real.

According to Julia, her costar was abrasive and threw tantrums on set — and she did everything she could to stay away. Eventually despite their onscreen romance, the two had to be filmed separately with stand-ins! Years afterward the Pretty Woman star was quoted as calling Nolte “completely disgusting” in a NY Times interview. Nolte responded by saying:

“It’s not nice to call someone ‘disgusting.’ But she’s not a nice person. Everyone knows that.”

DAMN.

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams

This one is shocking as the costars famously dated after this incident.
But director Nick Cassavetes spilled the tea from behind the scenes of The Notebook about how one day Ryan Gosling refused to shoot with future girlfriend Rachel McAdams. He told VH1:

“Maybe I’m not supposed to tell this story, but they were really not getting along one day on set. Really not. And Ryan came to me, and there’s 150 people standing in this big scene, and he says, ‘Nick come here.’ And he’s doing a scene with Rachel and he says, ‘Would you take her out of here and bring in another actor to read off camera with me?’ I said, ‘What?’ He says, ‘I can’t. I can’t do it with her. I’m just not getting anything from this.'”

“I’m just not getting anything from this”?? And she still dated him after that?!
We mean, he is Ryan Gosling, but still…

Ryan Reynolds and Wesley Snipes

For those of you who don’t even remember Blade: Trinity, let us take you back to a time before Marvel Studios had nailed the comic book movie formula…

In 1998, Wesley Snipes slayed as Marvel Comics’ resident vampire hunter in the action-packed Blade. But by 2004, he had gotten a bit… difficult, from what we’ve heard. He reportedly stayed in character and would only communicate to the director via notes signed “Blade.” In one scene he infamously refused to open his eyes, and his eyes had to be added in later with CG! Really!

Enter Ryan Reynolds…

Long before he was playing Deadpool, he was always basically Deadpool. He was an action hero in the making who couldn’t help himself from improvising and cracking wise on set, ad-libbing in his own jokes. Ryan may get paid the big bucks to do just that these days, but it was something Snipes supposedly couldn’t take. Word is, he would only come to set for his closeups for scenes with Ryan, leaving him to film everything else by himself or with a stand-in.

But 20 years later Ryan extended an olive branch to his former co-star, asking him to reprise the role of Blade for a surprisingly big role in Deadpool & Wolverine! So we guess they’re all good now!

Channing Tatum and Emma Watson

Both stars made appearances in Seth Rogen‘s star-studded apocalypse comedy This Is The End — but their cameos originally overlapped! Towards the end of the film, Channing Tatum appears in a gimp mask as the sex toy of Danny McBride.

Apparently Emma Watson was supposed to be in that scene, too. But word is she looked around at what was happening, and it was just too much. Of course, most of the wild debauchery was in the script — but according to an extra, Channing breakdancing in his leather sex mask made her walk off set and call her agent. Costar James Franco pretty much confirmed the story later, though he graciously never mentioned Emma by name, telling the story to Interview magazine:

“This actress — I won’t say who, but she had a smaller role in the film — walked off the movie in the middle of a scene. What was going on around her was, I guess, too extreme for her… And she said, ‘Yeah, I’ve got to leave.'”

We understand saying no to that kind of a scene when you’ve got a squeaky clean Hermione image you want to protect — but why agree to a script with a giant devil penis and an impaled Michael Cera (separate scenes, LOLz!) in the first place??

Helen Hunt And Bill Paxton

This one you’d never be able to tell by the movie — because it technically wasn’t in the movie!

Long before its sequel, Twister was one of the first modern disaster movies and still one of the biggest hits. And at the center of the 1996 flick was a His Girl Friday-style love story about two divorced meteorologists played wonderfully by Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton.

But things on set didn’t have quite so happy an ending…

Rumors flew at the time the stars didn’t get along behind the scenes — which couldn’t have been helped by the fact Hunt hated shooting the movie altogether.
Years later she described the “nightmare” to Huffington Post, saying:

“They didn’t paint in the hail with the computer. They made a hail machine and dropped giant balls of ice on us. We’re not sure how Bill Paxton made it worse, but the two apparently did NOT get along. But Helen Hunt has been an actress since she was a child, and she was a professional and did her job… until they decided to make a ride.

The Twister… Ride It Out ride was a mainstay at Universal Studios in Orlando for 17 years. If you rode, you probably remember the filmed bits before the ride began, in which Helen and Bill warned you about the power of wind — only they didn’t do it together.

Yep, the stars acknowledge one another on different TV screens, and this wasn’t done to make use of the space.

No, the stars reportedly wouldn’t even film the brief scripted interaction together and had to be shot separately.

One of the biggest reasons early on to assume Blake was the one doing the right thing here was how many folks seemed to be on her side? We mean, the whole reason fans got clued into the friction was seeing Justin sort of sequestered from the cast at the premiere and in promo. Blake and hubby Ryan Reynolds (not in the movie but pretty involved) were hanging with actors Jenny Slate and Brandon Sklenar (seen above) and the book’s author Colleen Hoover. Seemed pretty clear Justin, on an island by himself, had done something, right? Well… what if there’s another explanation?

A source wrote in to DeuxMoi claiming “an assistant at the agency that represents BOTH Blake and Justin” spilled all. They claimed fans paying attention to the stars’ interviews and social media are right on the money — and we mean money. The insider explained:

“Justin optioned the movie way early with the book was starting to get big and thought it’d be an impactful/heartbreaking/inspiring look at DV from the female perspective.”

A million miles from the sources who claimed he was making it about the male perspective — and being a tyrant about it. And Blake’s motives weren’t what’s being claimed either! They say the Gossip Girl alum didn’t care about the message and saw this movie “as MONEY — not just a paycheck for this film but Blake as a business.” They pointed out how Ryan and Blake “see themselves as businesses” and thought this was an entrepreneur opportunity:

“So for Blake this was a commercial launching pad for herself, her brands, her businesses, and wanted it to be a lighter movie bc of it…”

That’s certainly in line with the way she’s marketed the movie on social media! The source says Justin “deeply disagreed” with that take “and thought it was cheapening the movie.” So how did everyone get the impression Justin did something wrong? Why was everyone on Blake’s side? The carrot and the stick.

On the one hand no one wants to leave money on the table — and getting close to Blake and Ryan means hopping on the gravy train. Opportunities. A lifestyle. Meeting Taylor Swift. The insider says the cast and Colleen Hoover haven’t “stepped out of line” because they know what Blake and Ryan “could do for their careers”:

“For example, Blake loves the younger guy/other male costar in the movie [Brandon Sklenar], and has been his biggest cheerleader. Both Blake and Ryan have been introducing him to studio execs around town, got him a new agent, etc.”

More importantly there’s the stick. The way this source puts it makes it sound like the cast are TERRIFIED of what happens if they don’t go along with Ryan and Blake!

“No one in the cast/Colleen thinks it’s worth it to get on their bad side.”

WHOA!
