We just wrote off Donald Trump calling Omarosa a “dog” as more racist (and sexist) dehumanizing rhetoric.
But according to those who know him it’s more than that — the Washington Post pointed out after speaking to insiders on Tuesday that it was a particularly bad insult for the President because he has “an aversion” to dogs.
The article reads:
“Longtime Trump observers say it is a measure of his rage and sense of betrayal that he called Manigault Newman “that dog.” The president, who has an aversion to dogs and other pets, considers canine comparisons to be among his most devastating put-downs.”
So what you’re saying is… Trump HATES dogs?!
For the Post that was mentioned offhand, but srsly WTF! Who hates dogs??
Donald’s first ex-wife Ivanka Trump confirmed Donald’s distaste in her memoir, Raising Trump, saying he was “not a dog fan” and fought to keep her from bringing one home.
Fun fact: Trump is the first president to NOT have a dog in the White House since 1901 when William McKinley had a pair of kittens instead. Trump has no pets of any kind.
