The film festival organizers are putting in place extremely specific plans to ensure the exes will never have to face each other! On Friday, Vanity Fair asked the annual high-end film festival’s artistic director Alberto Barbera about plans the event staff has to separate the stars, who unfortunately happen to have films there at the same time. And they’ve got things scheduled right down to the hour, practically.

Rather than just hoping the two A-listers will avoid each other on the red carpet and at parties, Barbera’s team is laying out logistics to ensure they never even show up at the event on the same day! He told VF that “of course” the two embattled stars’ arrivals will be kept separate, and explained:

“Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday [August] 29, and she will leave right after with [Maria director] Pablo Larraín to go to Telluride. Brad will arrive only on Saturday, to Venice.”

So, the Maleficent star will be gone and done and off to Telluride Film Festival before the Moneyball star can even show up in Venice. That’s clever! Barbera doubled down with this added assurance, too:

“There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido.”

Honestly, very smart! Considering these two exes have been battling it out legally in their divorce for about 150 years now (only a slight exaggeration, TBH), and considering their wildly contentious courtroom battled involving their ill-fated Château Miraval winery only ever seems to keep heating up, making sure they don’t get close to each other in Venice is a VERY good idea. And considering how important the festival is for the film industry, it’s clear organizers want to take zero chances on there being any issues that distract from the drama on the screen. Sensible!

At the 2024 Met Gala, supermodel Kendall Jenner supposedly made history when she wore an archival Givenchy Haute Couture black dress designed by Alexander McQueen for the Fall-Winter 1999 collection. The stunning piece included a plunging neckline, tassels hanging down her side, and a sheer panel around her midsection that put a little bit of her booty on display. Take a look (below):

The Kardashians star looked amazing! And what made the gown extra special? Kendall claimed to Vogue that she was the “first human” to wear the vintage item as it was never shown on the runway and only displayed on a mannequin before. Thus, the dress was “literally a sleeping beauty” and more on theme than most.

However, the model apparently didn’t have her facts straight, as fashion buffs claimed on social media! They soon discovered someone else actually wore the same dress years ago! Who? What’s the truth about the archival Givenchy dress, though? Was Kenny really the first person to wear it? At the time, Page Six Style said the 28-year-old reality star was correct. The outlet explained Winona only had a replica of the garment for the Flaunt shoot. But now, the Beetlejuice star herself disputed the report — and called BS on what Kendall said! She insisted in a new cover story with Harper’s Bazaar that she “did wear” the original, saying:

“I heard about that. I do remember that photo shoot. It was with my dear friend [and makeup artist] Kevyn Aucoin. And I did wear it. I have pictures. The photographer gave me some prints. I’m in a tartan in one of them, and I’m in that dress.”

Hmm. Perhaps Kendall was just misinformed! She could have actually meant the outfit was never worn out in public before by anyone else! Obviously, mistakes happen! Or is there a chance Winona was wearing a replica, and she just never knew? Who knows?! We need Kendall or Givenchy to weigh in on the matter now to give us the answers once and for all! End the dress debate of 2024, finally! LOLz!

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the actress revealed that Honor sported her Prada look that she wore to the premiere of Valentine’s Day in London all the way back in 2007. Her youngest daughter kept it simple, wearing minimal jewelry. As for Haven, she had on her mom’s green plaid Dolce & Gabbana dress she wore to Comic-Con for Good Luck Chuck in 2010. For accessories, the teenager wore a cross necklace and hoop earrings. Wow! Jessica gushed in the caption of the post:

“Throwing it back all the way to ‘07 and ‘10 in the sweetest way ever. Vivienne AND Shiloh both reportedly dropped dad Brad Pitt from their surnames this year. It could be a sign of loyalty with them — especially as fans think they spotted a matching tat on Shiloh’s arm recently! Footage on social media showed Dominican actress Massiel Taveras — surrounded by a group of security guards — attempting to adjust the train of her gown, which featured a large portrait of Jesus on it. When the 39-year-old former pageant queen went to pose for the cameras, the female guard got in the way by blocking her with her arm. Much to her chagrin, Massiel makes her way up the staircase with the female guard. Another security member held up her train, which she did not like at all!

Once Massiel notices, she yanks the train away from him and unfurls it again. She eventually appears to become so fed up that she pushes the female security guard’s arm away and gestures for all of them to back off while she fixes her train. Oof.

Once at the top of the steps, she waved at the crowd one last time. And here is where things escalated! The female guard continued to try to push her inside, even putting an arm around Massiel. The TV host then shoves her away before heatedly speaking to her! Watch the two clash (below):

During the premiere of Marcello Mio, Kelly blew up on the same woman while walking the red carpet because she reportedly “had it” with the security team “being aggressive!” The former Destiny’s Child member later called out the security guard for only pushing her off the carpet, suggesting the incident was racially motivated:

“The woman knows what happened. I know what happened. I have a boundary, and I stand by those boundaries, and that is it. And there were other women that attended that carpet who did not quite look like me, and they didn’t get scolded or pushed off or told to get off. I stood my ground, and she felt like she had to stand hers. But I stood my ground. And that was it.”

At the Tuesday premiere of Marcello Mio, the singer became upset with a security guard while walking the red carpet at the film festival. She reportedly blew up on the woman after she “had it” with the security team “being aggressive.” A source explained:

“The people who are assigned to helping stars walk the red carpet were being aggressive and Kelly was trying to ignore it. By the time she got to the last woman she had had it because she scolded Kelly and told her to move when she was trying to wave to fans and help the paparazzi get their shot.”

Now Kelly is sharing her side of the story in her own words! Speaking with the Associated Press on Thursday, the former Destiny’s Child member called out the staffer for only yelling and pushing her to get off the red carpet:

And there were other women that attended that carpet who did not quite look like me, and they didn’t get scolded or pushed off or told to get off. J.Lo had yet another premiere for her new sci-fi movie Atlas on Tuesday, and once again Ben didn’t bother to show up on her arm. Monday night’s event was even in El Lay, the same city the Argo director is filming his new movie The Accountant 2. So you’d think that would be the more egregious miss, right?

Well, not so fast. Because even though he would have had to travel to Mexico City to be with Jen on Tuesday night, this time he definitely didn’t have a work obligation! No, the Justice League alum was photographed in Santa Monica having a guys’ night! People reported he was with some guy friends at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi. And now there are even more deets about his dinner. A witness told the outlet Wednesday afternoon:

“He was in a great mood. He seemed very relaxed and happy. Everyone chatted and seemed to enjoy.”

Huh. Is this a good sign for the relationship? Or a terrible one?

Obviously if Ben were miserable, that would be worse. But the idea he’s laughing and having a grand ol’ time while playing hooky from hubby duties? “He’s professional and shows up early on the set. He seems focused and ready to work when he arrives. He looks very happy and is super friendly with everyone on set.”
