“Actor Luke Perry, 52, passed away today after suffering a massive stroke. He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time.”

Luke Perry has passed away at the age of 52.
According to TMZ, the Riverdale actor died on Monday morning after suffering a massive stroke last week. He was rushed to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, California on Wednesday, but sadly never recovered.

As we previously reported, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum’s current and former costars went on social media to wish him a speedy recovery following the news. At the time, his rep confirmed the star was “currently under observation at the hospital.”
No statement has been released today.
Just last week FOX announced its plans to reboot the iconic 90s show that propelled him to stardom playing Dylan McKay, but he reportedly hadn’t signed on to the role yet.
