According to footage posted on social media, the 30-year-old country singer was performing the track It Matters To Her during a show at the Colorado State Fair on Saturday. However, he stopped in the middle of the song and called out a male audience member when he apparently saw the guy hit a woman! OMG! While pointing out into the crowd, Scotty shouted:

“Hey! Right here, right here. That’s a lady you just hit, sir. Absolutely not, you just hit the lady.”

The American Idol alum immediately asked for event police and security to take the man out of the venue, saying:

“Get the heck out of here. On God’s green Earth, at a Scotty McCreery show? What are you doing? Y’all let the cops know who hit the lady ‘cause that’s absolutely unacceptable. Whoever you are, that’s the definition of a coward, hitting a lady. Get the heck out of here.”

Crew members went on to shine spotlights into the front of the crowd to help officials locate the guy. Eventually, the man was removed from the area, and the concert continued. Scotty told the audience before playing again:

“Well, if we’re all set, let’s get on back to the show.”

We’re glad Scotty came to that fan’s aid. No one should ever get attacked like that on what should be a fun night out enjoying music. Watch a clip of the incident (below):

As we previously reported, two men were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly planning terror attacks at events in Vienna, including one of the pop star’s Eras Tour shows this week. Thousands of fans planned to attend the concerts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, so this could have been a massive tragedy if their plan hadn’t been stopped by the police in time — just like the horrific bombing during Ariana Grande’s show in Manchester. Or even the devastating mass shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas.

Manchester was shocking to the entire world. A suicide bomber killed 22 people and injured hundreds at the 7 Rings singer’s Danger Woman concert in the city back in May 2017. Sadly it wasn’t even the only massacre at a concert that year.

Just five months later, a man shot and killed 58 people at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Sin City. The devastating incidents rocked many people at the time, especially in the music industry — including Taylor. In fact, five years before this week’s scare, she admitted in a column for Elle in 2019 that the back-to-back tragedies made her “completely terrified” to tour again ahead of Lover Fest as her “biggest fear” was the possibility of a terrorist attack at her concert. Oof. She wrote at the time:

“After the Manchester Arena bombing and the Vegas concert shooting, I was completely terrified to go on tour this time because I didn’t know how we were going to keep 3 million fans safe over seven months. There was a tremendous amount of planning, expense, and effort put into keeping my fans safe.”

Her “fear of violence” continued into her “personal life,” too. Following the two catastrophic events, Taylor said she even started to carry “QuikClot army grade bandage dressing” for “gunshot or stab wounds.” It’s heartbreaking she feared for her safety so much she had to take such extreme measures just in case. Sadly, her worries only increased as her personal information became easily accessible online to stalkers:

“Websites and tabloids have taken it upon themselves to post every home address I’ve ever had online. You get enough stalkers trying to break into your house and you kind of start prepping for bad things.”

Despite her concerns, Taylor tried to remember there is still “good in the world”, expressing at the time:

“Every day I try to remind myself of the good in the world, the love I’ve witnessed and the faith I have in humanity. We have to live bravely in order to truly feel alive, and that means not being ruled by our greatest fears.”

And she didn’t let her “greatest fears” rule over her. Taylor fully planned to move forward with Lover Fest, but the shows were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. A few years later, though, she embarked on her record-breaking The Eras Tour. Except for a scary incident with a stalker, everything was going smoothly out on the road. But as we mentioned, her international leg of the tour took a very scary turn due to the planned terror attack. Again, thankfully, the plot was thwarted before anyone got hurt. But out of an abundance of precaution, the three shows in Vienna are canceled now.

We cannot imagine how shaken Taylor must feel at this time — especially as this comes on the heels of the mass stabbing at a dance event themed around her in the UK. Our hearts go out to her and the Swifties in Vienna. We’re so glad everyone is safe. Reactions, Perezcious readers? Let us know.

Neither Megan nor Morgan addressed the rumors. Until now! When asked if she dated the controversial artist on the Call Her Daddy podcast this week, the No Caller ID songstress revealed they did date — but “never exclusively!” Megan explained:

“It was never a relationship. Here’s what I’ll tell you though, because I haven’t told anyone this ever. So, him and I met in 2020. Jon Langston actually introduced us. I was a senior in college – COVID hadn’t happened yet, his Dangerous album wasn’t even out yet. So we were friends for a long time. We were not just friends. And now we’re friends.”

Megan once again insisted they were “never officially dating.” Ah! So, think along the lines of a situationship where they kept things casual and hooked up! Friends but “not just friends” sounds kind of like a friends with benefits situation, right?

As for how they kept their non-exclusive romance a secret? Well, sort of a secret! Fans had their suspicions, as we mentioned! Megan said it was “not that hard” for them since “he’s a very private person.” Plus, it helped that they were super busy, making it difficult to meet up and be seen together.

And, of course, their fling didn’t last in the long run. However, it sounds like they ended things on good terms, as Megan kept reiterating they’re still pals now! Oh, and as for if Tennessee Orange was inspired by her situationship with Morgan? Sorry, her lips are sealed on that matter! Megan told host Alex Cooper:

Eight years after losing his wife and musical partner Joey Fleek to cervical cancer, the country music artist revealed he tied the knot with his 10-year-old daughter Indiana’s teacher, Rebecca. Rory shared in a blog post that the couple got married “under a beautiful timber-frame pavilion here in Greycliff, Montana” on July 14, with his kid, their family, and close friends in attendance. What made their nuptials extra special? He surprised his bride with a performance of a song he wrote for her called I Do. Aww!

An accompanying music video for the track showed snippets of their wedding ceremony, including the emotional moment he serenaded Rebecca in front of their guests. Watch (below):

This is so sweet! And they look so happy together! As for their love story? Rory and Rebecca were an item for a while. However, the singer shared that his marriage only happened because of Indiana. Grab some tissues for this story, Perezcious readers! It’s a tearjerker! He wrote on the blog:

“We knew marriage was a possibility. It wasn’t something that either of us felt like we could seriously talk about. Mostly because up until that time Indiana only saw Rebecca as ‘Miss Rebecca her schoolteacher and our friend.”

But Indiana mentioned an idea to Rebecca in “late March” when the two were hanging out on Rory’s farm. As the Gentleman artist recalled:

“They came back in the kitchen, and Rebecca said, ‘Rory, Indiana just asked me something that I think you need to hear.’ I asked Indy, and she told me that she said, ‘Ms. Rebecca, I think you should marry Papa.’ Of course, I was happy, but caught off guard and told her that that was something we’d all have to start praying about. And then Indy looked at me and said ‘And I told Miss Rebecca that my Mama’s been gone a long time. And if she marries you, maybe she could be my new mother…’”

Naturally, Rory was touched by his daughter’s words. The dad even admitted to wiping away tears during their conversation! And soon afterward, he and Rebecca began planning a wedding. Based on the pictures and videos of their big day, everything turned out perfect! What was Rory and Rebecca’s “favorite moment” of the wedding, though? He wrote:

“When Indiana was given the gift of having a Mama in her life again. And Rebecca was given the gift of being a mother. And we became a family.”

Major League Baseball is hosting their All-Star Game festivities in Arlington, Texas this week, and as happens every summer, part of that celebration included a Home Run Derby. So, to kick it off, the country singer — who has a new single coming out next week — was tapped to sing the National Anthem. But she bombed it. Like, sadly, she really bombed it…

The rendition was so off-key that fans in the stadium didn’t quite know what to make of her performance. Even the players on the field struggled to hold back laughter. At one point, Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm (pictured above, inset) appeared to be fighting back a laugh after Andress stumbled over an out-of-tune line. But don’t take it from us! Over on X (Twitter), fans were not shy in calling out Andress for bungling and anthem so badly, especially after she billed proudly by an MLB on-screen chyron as a “four-time Grammy nominee.” They shared:

If you didn’t know Andress before this, she has indeed been nominated for four Grammys — most notably Best New Artist in 2021, where she lost to Megan Thee Stallion. Her most recent album Good Person was released in 2022, and included a collab single with Sam Hunt called Wishful Drinking that blew up pretty big at the time. But other than that, she has been laying low for the last few years before suddenly announcing days ago that she’s got a single called Colorado 9 coming out next Wednesday.

This week, people accused the country music artist of supporting Satan. The unhinged conspiracy theory started when she posted pictures on social media Monday of herself from the 2024 CMA Festival. One of the photos featured herself rocking a silver-embellished mini dress and matching knee-high boots in the parking lot. However, no one paid attention to what Carly was wearing! Instead, fans were more focused on the fact that she was standing on top of a parking spot marked with what appeared to be “666.” Check out the image (below):

While the first two digits clearly say “66,” the third number is hard to see. Some fans in the comments say it’s an “8.” If you ask us, it does look a lot like an 8! But others, on the other hand? They insist, given its partially round shape, that the last digit is a “6.” And thus, those conspiracy theorists are now convinced Carly worships the devil! No, we’re not kidding here! They literally think her standing on a parking spot with a “666” possibly on it means she’s a devil worshiper! So wild! See some of the comments from the post (below):

The convicted felon and presidential candidate is the subject of a new book about how a really fake reality show led to an all-too-real political movement. In his upcoming book Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass, author Ramin Setoodeh — the co-editor-in-chief of Variety — speaks directly to the former president more from the prism of celebrity than politics. And things get… weird.

When asked about Taylor Swift in an excerpt obtained by Variety, Trump — who has in the past couple months been found liable for sexual abuse and guilty of hiding hush money payments to a porn star — falls back on his baser instincts and immediately just talks about her looks. When asked what he thinks about Tay, the 77-year-old says about the singer eight years younger than his own daughter:

“I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump. I hear she’s very talented. I think she’s very beautiful, actually — unusually beautiful!”

ICK!

Literally said “beautiful” five times and mentioned her politics once. In the patriarchal, misogynistic Trump world, we’re sure that was meant as a compliment. But how reductive!

This is a woman who deserves to be engaged with intellectually, ffs! Though admittedly Donald Trump probably isn’t the person to take on that challenge…

Hey, did anyone notice how he said he “heard” she was talented. The man has never heard a Taylor Swift song. LOLz! When asked directly about her music after all the looks comments, he says simply, “Don’t know it well.” It’s not just that he doesn’t listen — it seems like he barely knows who she is apart from being “unusually beautiful.” And he proves how far his finger is from the pulse just a moment later when he muses:

“But she is liberal, or is that just an act? She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal.”

Setoodeh writes in the final paragraph of the book excerpt:

“I tell Trump that Swift is no longer a country star; she’s been making pop music for years. He doesn’t seem aware of this, but he reaches for a different name. ‘Garth Brooks is liberal. Explain that! How does it happen? But he’s liberal.’ Trump trails off. ‘It’s one of those things…'”

Wow, he really can’t see a woman for anything more than looks, can he? What an absolute trash human.

Anyway, Apprentice in Wonderland hits bookshelves June 18. Apparently Trump gets asked about a lot more celebs, including Kim Kardashian, Debra Messing, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
