Right after Donald Trump shared those creepy AI pics of the singer endorsing him, a close pal of Mz. Swift told the US Sun on Friday that she plans to shut that down once and for all — by endorsing his opponent!

If you remember, back in 2018 she made an extremely rare political statement in a local election — against the extremely anti-LGBT Marsha Blackburn, who was running for Senate in Tennessee. Soon after, in the 2020 election she endorsed Joe Biden during his campaign. It seemed largely to be against Donald Trump and his attempt to take away women’s rights more than a specific attachment to Biden.

In fact, the insider dished that she was “very happy” when Kamala took over his nomination earlier this year. The prospect of a female prez is “exciting” to the musician, so she’s planning on sharing a lot more support this time, the source claims:

“Taylor got enthusiastic when Kamala Harris got named VP in 2020, to see a woman getting at such a high political position and being the vice president of Joe Biden, it was massive, and she was happy about it. She was happy to endorse the Biden-Harris duo four years ago. Now that Harris is running for president, Taylor is even more excited about the possibility of having Kamala Harris being the next president of the United States of America.”

The 34-year-old seems to have nothing but good things to say about the VP:

“Taylor sees Kamala as a strong woman, someone who unites people, who is going to do her best to solve issues that the people have, and who does great running the country.”

Hey, she isn’t the only one after this week, right?

But don’t expect the Fortnight singer to immediately come out and wave her flag for the 59-year-old and her running mate Tim Walz, though. Now that she’s on a break from her Eras Tour, she’s going to let things settle for a few weeks. But this source, who is reportedly close to Tay Tay’s team, is certain an endorsement is imminent:

“She will endorse Kamala Harris, and the announcement should be made soon, probably 6 to 4 weeks before the election day.”

That would put the endorsement around late September, early October. Hmm.

Now that Biden and everyone else seems to have thrown all their weight behind VP Kamala Harris to run, however, it’s looking increasingly like one person is more stung by the decision than anyone else: Donald Trump.

The former POTUS spent basically the whole day Sunday ranting and raving on his Truth Social about… Biden. The guy who he isn’t even running against anymore! He began:

“Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve – And never was! He only attained the position of President by lies, Fake News, and not leaving his Basement.”

We don’t even know what that means, tbh. But it went on like that for a LOT LONGER. He posted at least a DOZEN times targeting Biden, calling him “the Worst President, by far, in the History of our Nation.” Clearly Trump isn’t a student of history or he’d at least know William Henry Harrison has that one locked down save for, say, a convicted felon and legally recognized sexual abuser getting elected. He also said multiple times Biden was lying about having COVID, which… why?? Also, it’s rich how anyone gets blasted by Trump and his toadies for even asking questions about his injury from assassination attempt — and he’s allowed to just call Biden a liar about his COVID diagnosis.

Trump just went after Biden again and again, complaining it wasn’t fair he’d spent time and money painting a negative portrait of the incumbent president and now didn’t even have him as a target anymore. Heck, he even posted the extremely desperate “maybe he’ll call”-sounding:

“It’s not over! Tomorrow Crooked Joe Biden’s going to wake up and forget that he dropped out of the race today!”

YIKES!

The unhinged posting did not go unnoticed by political pundits (and the rest of us voters) trying to weigh whether Biden made the right decision. One insightful poster noted:

“Since Biden’s announcement, elderly convicted felon and sex offender Donald Trump is doing something known in legal circles as ‘sh*tting his pants’, with tremendous dignity.”

People were left wondering who would replace him in the race against Donald Trump until he officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democratic Party’s nominee shortly after making his announcement. Trump, of course, took the opportunity to jump on the POTUS, calling him the “worst president in the history of the United States by far” in a statement to NBC News. He added:

“There has never been a president who has done such damage to our country, from energy independence to letting in millions and millions of illegal immigrants.”

Joe Biden has a MAJOR update on his candidacy for the 2024 Presidential election.

On Sunday, the POTUS took to X (Twitter) to reveal that he’s officially dropping out of the Presidential race. In a lengthy statement, he wrote:

“Over the past three and a half years, we have made great progress as a Nation. Today, America has the strongest economy in the world. We’ve made historic investments in rebuilding our Nation, in lowering prescription drug costs for seniors, and in expanding affordable health care to a record number of Americans. We’ve provided critically needed care to a million veterans exposed to toxic substances. Passed the first gun safety law in 30 years. Appointed the first African American woman to the Supreme Court. And passed the most significant climate legislation in the history of the world. America has never been better positioned to lead than we are today.”

He continued:

“I know none of this could have been done without you, the American people. Together, we overcame a once in a century pandemic and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. We’ve protected and preserved our Democracy. And we’ve revitalized and strengthened our alliances around the world.”

But despite everything listed above, the 81-year-old revealed that for the “best interest my party and the country,” he’s officially standing down from campaigning for reelection:

“It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.”

WOW. Whispers of this decision have been circulating for a while — especially in the wake of his and Donald Trump’s infamous debate in June. It left a lot of Americans concerned for our country’s future, and Joe clearly wants what’s best for the American people.

He revealed he’ll provide more details later this week, but didn’t endorse a new candidate. He did, however, thank his VP Kamala Harris:

“For now, let me express my deepest gratitude to all those who have worked so hard to see me reelected. I want to thank Vice President Kamala Harris for being an extraordinary partner in all this worl. And let me express my heartfelt appreciation to the American People for the faith and trust you have placed in me.”

He concluded:

“I believe today what I always have: that there is nothing American can’t do – when we do it together. We just have to remember we are the United States of America.”

Of course, Savannah’s dad Todd Chrisley and mom Julie Chrisley are in federal prison right now after being found guilty on bank fraud and tax evasion charges. But to hear the Sassy By Savannah mogul tell it in her RNC speech, the reality TV stars were “persecuted” by the justice system “due to our public profile and conservative beliefs.” Hmmm…

The Chrisley Knows Best star took up for her incarcerated parents and defended Trump at the same time in the fiery speech. She opened by referencing the location in Georgia — Fulton County, with county seat Atlanta — as the place where “rogue prosecutors” went after her mom and dad:

“You may have seen my family on TV, but for the past decade we have been persecuted by rogue prosecutors in Fulton County due to our public profile.”

The RNC crowd immediately caught Savannah’s Fulton County reference, too. As you probably know, Trump himself is facing federal racketeering charges in that very same county over accusations that he tried to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia. Savannah said:

“I know, Fulton County. They know how to do it, alright, due to our public profile and conservative beliefs.”

She then went on to complain the justice system treats conservatives differently than it does liberals:

“Justice is supposed to be blind, but today we have a two face justice system. Just look at what they are doing to President Trump, all along. Let’s face it, Hunter Biden is roaming around free and attending classified meetings.”

Uh… not sure if that point is totally true. For one, Hunter Biden has a tax fraud trial coming up this fall and was already convicted last month on all three federal gun charges he was facing — charges which don’t even usually get filed, per experts. Oh, and on the very same day that Savannah gave this RNC speech, Senator Robert Menendez — a Democrat from New Jersey and the now-former chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee — was convicted on a series of federal bribery charges. Seems like it goes both ways! Crooked is crooked.

If anything, Trump has been given a much, much longer leash than probably any defendant in US history. We mean, he even has the Supreme Court giving him immunity, contrary to the Constitution! And of course, the big difference is the Democrats aren’t supporting Menendez and NEVER supported Hunter Biden, who isn’t even an elected official, just the president’s son. The GOP, on the other hand, is host to multiple convicted criminals, and it’s become a real part of their brand!

Nevertheless, Savannah continued. She dropped one of the biggest lines of the entire Tuesday affair at the RNC when she told the crowd that Fulton County prosecutors had called her family “the Trumps of the South” during Todd and Julie’s trial:

“I’ll never forget what the prosecutors said in the most heavily Democrat county in the state, before an Obama-appointed judge. He called us the Trumps of the South. He meant it as an insult. But let me tell you, boy do I wear it as a badge of honor.”

And as for Trump — who, of course, has already been found guilty by a jury on 34 (!) counts of falsifying records related to a hush money payment — she offered this line as a kicker:

“Donald J. Trump has only one conviction that matters, and that is his conviction to make America great again.”

On Monday, Corey’s widow Helen Comperatore spoke to the New York Post about the final moments she shared with her heroic husband and what has transpired since his passing. Shockingly, she revealed that President Joe Biden tried to call the family after the shooting, but she declined. She said:

“I didn’t talk to Biden. I didn’t want to talk to him. My husband was a devout Republican and he would not have wanted me to talk to him.”

Because she and, especially, her husband supported MAGA, she just didn’t want to sit through a chat with the current prez, she explained:

“I don’t have any ill will towards Joe Biden. I’m not one of those people that gets involved in politics. I support Trump, that’s who I’m voting for, but I don’t have ill will towards Biden.”

And yet, the current Presidential candidate she is supporting — and who was also involved in the shooting — hasn’t reached out! But she’s not holding a grudge, she insisted:

“He didn’t do anything to my husband. A 20-year-old despicable kid did.”

Whoa.

If you don’t know, reports swirled that Donald went golfing the day after the horrific incident that left Corey dead and two others critically injured (though they are expected to recover). FWIW, Donny spoke to the New York Post on Sunday, and he claimed he wanted to “get the numbers” of the families affected by this violence, saying:

“Get the numbers, I want to go to the hospital and call all the families.”

Guess it wasn’t his top priority, though, since he hadn’t called yet. That said, he did find time to speak briefly with Biden at some point after sustaining an ear injury in the attack. And his top finance person, Meredith O’Rourke, set up a “Trump Authorized” fundraiser for all the victims, which has raised nearly $5 million. So, The Celebrity Apprentice alum is doing something to help the families of those hurt or killed.

Many other people have gone out of their way to be helpful to the Comperatores. Reflecting on a different GoFundMe campaign set up for her family which has raised over $1 million, Helen told the outlet:

“The donations that are coming in across the community and across the country, it’s more than I can even imagine. It’s more than I can fathom, but he deserves it all. He deserves everything.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Helen sadly recalled her husband’s final moments at the Pennsylvania rally, saying:

“He’s my hero. He just said, ‘Get down!’ That was the last thing he said.”

The 50-year-old, whom she called “a very loving husband,” decided to take his wife and kids to the rally over the weekend, she added:

“Me and the kids were all there as a family. He was just excited. It was going to be a nice day with the family. […] It was a bad day.”

Oof. The couple was about to celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary, too, she shared:

“He was a simple man but he put his wife and kids first all the time. I did nothing here. I didn’t lift a finger. He did everything.”

This makes it all the more difficult to lose him in the blink of an eye. A truly heartbreaking loss for this family and all of Corey’s loved ones.
