Donald Trump‘s pick for Vice President in this election cycle is in the news again on Wednesday morning for comments he made back in 2021. They were aimed at Randi Weingarten, the head of the national teacher’s union American Federation of Teachers. And in those old public comments, he slammed Randi for not having kids of her own — but wanting to control what other people did with their kids when it came to school and learning.

Vance’s 2021 words about Weingarten were delivered during a Center for Christian Virtue leadership forum moderated by conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, and they were VICIOUS! He slammed Weingarten over the fact that she “doesn’t have a single child” but still works in policy aimed at kids, and added:

“You know, so many of the leaders of the left, and I hate to be so personal about this, but they’re people without kids, trying to brainwash the minds of our children. … If she wants to brainwash and destroy the mind of children, she should have some of her own and leave ours the hell alone.”

The remarks first resurfaced after the liberal news site Heartland Signal uncovered them on Tuesday. Quickly, Harris’ campaign accounts re-posted and amplified the video on social media. And immediately, people FLOODED the web with reactions! Over on X (Twitter), users blasted Vance for being relentlessly weird and off-putting with his comments about other people’s kids:

“Its not just weird how he’s obsessed with other people having kids, it’s creepy”

If you haven’t kept up with the drama online, here’s the deal. Last year, screenshots of the 23-year-old TikTok star repeatedly using the N-word on the website ASKfm back in 2014 appeared on the “Alix Earle Snark” page on Reddit. However, it wasn’t until a year later, when the posts resurfaced on TikTok and other subreddits this month, that Alix started facing a ton of backlash online.

What made the whole situation worse? Not only did she remain silent on the offensive comments when the controversy started, but she allegedly trademarked them to stop others from continuing to share them! Yeah, you read that correctly. According to two podcasters, Alix TRADEMARKED her posts using a racial slur! What the f**k.

Jessi Smiles and Lily Marston claimed in their Do We Know Them? podcast earlier this month that the content creator’s legal team accused them of violating their copyright when screenshots of her racist posts popped up in their subreddit — which they do not own or moderate. Jessi explained:

“Her lawyer contacted us and said that we have violated their copyright. People posted screenshots of [her racist posts] in our subreddit, and her lawyer said that they have a trademark to that. We don’t moderate it, we don’t have any access to it.”

In what world does someone think it was OK to trademark that?! Especially when that same person hadn’t even apologized or at least said something about their problematic comments at that time! What a disgusting move. Watch the podcast episode (below):

Now, after weeks of silence, Alix is speaking out about the controversy in a statement posted to her Instagram Stories on Monday. First off, Braxton Berrios’ girlfriend admitted she DID use the racial slur multiple times and apologized for the “hurt” she caused. She wrote:

“A couple of weeks ago, screenshots surfaced from my old ask.fm account showing me using a slur in the summer of 2014. I am taking accountability and want to make it clear that I was 13 years old and did not understand the deeply offensive meaning behind that word. That is no excuse for using that word in any context or at any age. That is absolutely not the way I speak or what I stand for. I am deeply sorry that my words have hurt many and have led people to believe that I have any prejudice in my heart. I promise you that could not be further from the truth. My platform has always focused on positivity, entertainment, and uplifting others, and will continue to do so. I am sincerely sorry to those I have offended.”

As for why she took so long to address the scandal? Alix claimed she received bad “advice” not to say anything:

“I regret how I handled this situation, allowing too many people to talk me out of saying something for too long. I wasn’t sure how to handle it and unfortunately the advice I was given, although well intended, was wrong. There is no one to blame but myself for not standing my ground and going with my gut to speak right away. In the absence of my addressing this, my silence allowed others to fill the void with rumors that simply aren’t true.”

As we mentioned, one of those claims was that she trademarked her older posts. However, Alix insisted that part is “absolutely ridiculous and untrue.” Hmm. She continued:

“Another is that a brand announced they are no longer working with me, even though we have never been in conversations with them about a partnership in any capacity. Regardless of what’s being said online, I wanted to come on here to address the facts and most importantly apologize.”

After the statement dropped, Jessi and Lily addressed her claim that she never trademarked her posts — with receipts. They told Variety on Monday night:

“While we cannot speak to the legitimacy or existence of any trademarks or copyrights, we can confirm that we received an email from an entity identifying itself as WEB SHERIFF. This entity claimed to act as the rights agent for Alix Earle, and had written the email to notify us of 11 different alleged infringements and violations. The email was signed by John E. Henehan LL.B., who asserted under penalty of perjury that he is ‘either the intellectual property rights owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owners of the exclusive rights that are allegedly infringed.’”

The two continued:

“The email referenced a user created post on a fan-run subreddit for our podcast, a page over which we have no authorship or control. The post in question, linked within the email, featured screenshots of Earle’s unfavorable past comments on AskFM, which had already been circulating online. The email purports that this post is guilty of a laundry list of violations including but not limited to Copyright Infringement, Human Rights Violations, and Proceeds of Crime and Money Laundering Violations. It’s important to note that we received this notice despite every post on the subreddit featuring a clearly visible disclaimer stating that we are in no way affiliated with the subreddit or any of its content. In fact, we were unaware of the existence of the post in question prior to receiving this email notification.”

Jessi and Lily went on to point out that the email potentially “was sent without her knowledge or authorization,” adding:

“If that is the case, while unfortunate and out of her control, it would certainly be in her best interest to clarify that to set the record straight.”

Now, insiders are speaking out about Bianca’s appearance at the rally! Talking to DailyMail.com, one insider said people back home are “terrified” for Censori’s safety at random pro-Trump events like that. And furthermore, they’re worried that she has been “lost” to the clutches of Kanye’s highly concerning political beliefs!

The source explained that Ye stopped at the rally and engaged the large group of strangers AGAINST BIANCA’S WILL, which is super unsettling considering how many emotionally-charged people were there! And the source went on:

“Bianca was not onboard with the idea of stopping at the Trump rally. She is clearly not a conservative woman. Her overt display of sexuality and the fact that she believes a woman should be able to do whatever she wants with her own body isn’t exactly on board with Republican beliefs.”

Specifically, insiders are now worried about a couple different things. The first is concern that the Aussie may be turning to alcohol to deal with the stress of her marriage. Yikes. Ever since the tense premiere earlier this month, everybody’s been trying to get to the bottom of the rift between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. While there have been some icky allegations about Justin’s on-set behavior, for the most part, it sounds like the biggest issue was creative differences and the Gossip Girl alum getting in the way of Justin’s ability to direct the film he envisioned. And this latest insight not only doubles down on that, but also explains why neither one of ’em was the sole problem on this film set!

On Sunday, an insider who witnessed Blake and Justin on set during filming spilled ALL the tea to DailyMail.com. They clearly weren’t fans of either of them since they did NOT hold back!

First, Blake was in the hot seat as the source revealed that there was a “palpable sense that everyone was a little bit afraid of Blake.” But she clarified that the actress “wasn’t mean — she was just so effortlessly rude.” LMFAO! That tracks.

While there “wasn’t outward feuding or fighting” on set, the 36-year-old leading lady — who was also a co-producer — was “so extraordinarily [opinionated]” and “had really strong feelings about things” that it created a ton of stress and tension on set. Apparently, it was tense anytime the A Simple Favor star was on set. And she wasn’t shy about having cast and crew “wait on her.” Oof. Not the rep we’d want to have! The insider elaborated:

“I got this impression from Justin that he was just really, really stressed and fatigued about this constant inability to control the project he was making… so much so that when you’d ask him questions, he’d be like, ‘Well just ask Blake’… because when Blake got there she would have a lot of really strong thoughts and feelings.”

Makes sense why he thinks she should direct the sequel!

But that’s not all. If you didn’t know, this production was seriously impacted by the writer’s strike and faced a reported nine-month delay that had crew members dipping into their 401ks, losing their homes, and struggling financially as they waited to get back to work. So, how did Blake celebrate their first day back on set?? She brought her kids to work… so they could set up a booth to raise money for “sick kids and horses”! OMG! Slamming the move as “tone deaf,” the source dished:

“There’s nothing bad about having your kids be a part of your workplace, or having your kids be interested in activism… but it’s hard not to have it feel insulting and performative.”

She’s married to Deadpool himself, AKA Ryan Reynolds, and has been a star for years. We doubt she ever worried about finances during the strikes. And yet that’s how she chose to return to the set? Yeah, no wonder the workers didn’t like her. Blasting Blake, the source complained:

“She’s clearly an advocate for the pretty blonde people in the world.”

Ouch!

The insider also called out Blake for using the IEWU promo to promote her new haircare line and alcohol brand — all while mostly ignoring the very real and serious domestic violence topic of the film. The source pointed out:

“This is a trauma and this was an opportunity to provide resources for a very underrepresented class who doesn’t have a voice and instead she’s selling shampoo.”

In light of the movie drama, many fans have returned their newly purchased hair products, BTW.

But let’s hit pause for a second. This all sounds really bad for Blake, but Justin isn’t innocent in all this! The source had just as much tea to spill about the Five Feet Apart director, saying the 40-year-old was also very difficult to work with! They said:

“Justin is very similar to her [Lively] in that he needs to be the smartest person in the room.”

While the insider didn’t get into any of the behavior allegations, they claimed the Jane the Virgin alum had a sty on his eyelid for most of the shoot, and he reportedly forced cameras to re-block the scenes to avoid it. The confidant shared:

“I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of the visual effects budget was dedicated to editing it out.”

We mean… that’s frustrating, but wouldn’t they do this for anyone? He was the leading man in a complicated love story. We doubt any of the producers wanted audiences to be distracted by his eye condition! Just saying!

This wasn’t all that rubbed the source the wrong way, though. They went on to call Justin an “idiot” and a “performative feminist.” Noting that he’s built his brand on being a “woke feminist,” they pointed out he wrote a book called, “Undefining Masculinity” (AKA Man Enough: Undefining My Masculinity). Unpacking masculinity has been a huge passion of his for years and he’s seemed genuine about supporting DV victims through this press tour, but this source sure isn’t buying it. Hmm.

Either way, it sounds like both of these stars were big problems! With nothing great to say about either of them, the source went on:

“Both her and Justin are extraordinarily similar insofar that they’re just very special little snowflakes with a shocking amount of privilege and a shockingly little amount of self-awareness.”

They added:

Yowza. Certainly not a glowing report for either of them, but it does help explain why they’d be beefing so much. They never saw eye to eye — and could only put up with each other for so long. Yeesh.

And fans are debating wildly on X (Twitter) right now about whether or not what Blake said back then was truly problematic no matter the time period, or just an unfortunate sign of the troubling social culture of that earlier era!

YIKES!!!

Not exactly the kind of word you want to be throwing around, ya know? Or the flippant attitude one should deliver about somebody’s gender identity! And on Sunday on X, one user re-posted a screenshot of that quote and conveyed their shock that Blake had ever said it in the first place:

Bebe Rexha says she was the victim of a so-called “hate crime” at Munich International Airport in Germany. The singer-songwriter posted multiple videos and images on Saturday morning in which she was seen sobbing and crying very aggressively. It’s not entirely clear what happened, but Rexha also uploaded a message to her Instagram Stories indicating that she’d been threatened by a Lufthansa Airlines supervisor and a security employee at the airport, and banned from a flight.

The issue, according to the singer at least, was that she apparently spoke Albanian to one of the airport security guards because she thought he’d been speaking in Albanian to her. That move, she alleged, quickly led to a tense and emotional confrontation with airport staff members.

Yikes…

In her first of several videos and IG Stories uploads on the matter, Rexha stated through tears:

“The supervisor for the flight on Lufthansa is threatening me.”

She then posted a second video in quick succession. That one was a just a several-second clip of her crying, with her makeup smeared down her face during what was clearly a very emotional time:

Following that, she uploaded a brief but slightly more involved explanation of what she claims happened at the Munich Airport.

According to her, security personnel moved to “mentally abuse” her, with one man using his power over to and nobody else stepping in to say anything. Even worse, when she went to get his name to report the incident, he wouldn’t provide it for her:

She later re-posted an IG Stories message from another account demanding that Lufthansa immediately look into the situation and figure out what’s going on:

Bebe, in case you didn’t know, learned Albanian when she was a kid because her father is from North Macedonia — a Balkan country in which people speak both Macedonian and Albanian. Her mother also has Albanian roots.

As for Lufthansa, one of their reps told TMZ that they are in direct contact with Bebe right now and trying to get the full story.

The music superstar is cutting ties with disgraced business mogul Casey Wasserman (pictured above, inset) and his company just a couple weeks after a bombshell report was published by DailyMail.com in which insiders accused him of being a “serial cheater” who “has had a chronic condition of sleeping with people who work for him.”

Nearly a dozen sources — including several of his alleged mistresses — revealed to that outlet a little more than two weeks ago that Wasserman has been an alleged womanizer for YEARS. And considering his role not only with the high-powered Wasserman Agency when it comes to representing entertainment industry talent, but also as the the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics chief, reports of his alleged affairs are having significant fallout.

Most notably, the Bad Guy singer has officially cut ties with Wasserman’s iconic agency. And it’s not just that, either: per Variety, she and her brother Finneas O’Connell will now be repped by one of Wasserman’s biggest competitors, WME. Wow!! That’s a hell of a switcheroo!

A spokesperson for the star and her big bro told the entertainment industry mag:

“While grateful to their former live booking agents at Wasserman, Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell have opted to have film, TV and music handled by the same agency, WME, moving forward.”

And there’s more! A new DailyMail.com report on Friday added further insight to that situation, too. A source told DM that while Billie herself has minimal exposure to Casey, she and her team were “horrified” by the exposé and didn’t want to be associated with his agency at ALL after the report came out days ago. Oof. Truly a “f**k around and find out” moment if there ever was one!

Eilish is a big loss for Wasserman, who is also the man who has worked the business side of the game for other massive musical acts like Ed Sheeran and Coldplay. But to hear that Eilish has dumped his agency obviously makes us wonder whether there will be further fallout for him, his professional world, and the LA Olympics project that he’s in charge of that is fast getting ready for the 2028 Games.

In the initial report, which dropped on the first day of August, Wasserman was accused of showering sexual conquests with “love bombed” gifts, presents, and attention, according to sources — and then dumping them on a whim and supposedly moving on to new women and other affairs.

Wasserman is currently estranged from his wife, Laura Ziffren (pictured above, inset, along with Wasserman in a 2022 photo). Amid the marital strain, several of his ex-mistresses stepped forward and accused the high-powered talent agent of cheating on Laura for years, including one situation in which he allegedly began an affair with his assistant five years into their marriage, in 2006, after Laura had just given birth to their baby. BIG YIKES!!

And there are supposedly many more alleged affairs beyond that, too — including a supposed infamous tryst with a flight attendant whom Wasserman is said to have once hooked up with on an airplane WHILE HIS WIFE WAS ON BOARD!!! As you most likely know, the film is based on Colleen Hoover‘s book of the same name, and it’s all about a relationship between Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid that turns abusive. Given the sensitive topic the feuding co-stars are depicting on screen, the use of intimacy coordinators on set was super important for the safety and comfort of everyone — something both Blake and Justin preached during several separate interviews. For his part, the 40-year-old director told Harper’s Bazaar India last week that he and his team “knew from the very beginning that there was no way we could do this movie without intimacy coordinators” and stunt coordinators.

They hired Lizzy Talbot and Chelsea Cary as their intimacy coordinators, and Lauren Shaw as the stunt coordinator. Justin said:

“It was so important to have them on set — not just so that we could all feel safe, but because they were also incredible collaborators with wonderful ideas that really elevated the film.”

The Jane the Virgin alum noted that the three women really helped him when the “tension” became too much during the filming process:

“When you shoot a film like this, as an actor, all this tension lives in your body. There were times when I had to literally leave the set for a second before the next setup to shake it out or release it as best as I could. Having them on set and always in my eye line was invaluable because at any point I could look to one of them for a thumbs up, or we’d work on another approach together. They were such an important and integral part of our process.”

Justin continued to praise the coordinator’s work at the premiere in New York City earlier this month. You know, the same premiere that helped kick-start those rumors of Blake and the cast FEUDING with the actor as they completely avoided him… allegedly because of his awful on-set behavior. More on that in a moment, though.

Justin told The Hollywood Reporter that he struggled to work on the scenes involving domestic violence:

“There were a lot of times where I would have to go privately into a room and just cry or shake it out and try to get him out of me and that energy out of me, because it’s too real. There are too many people that are the real-life Lily Blooms of the world that have to deal with that every single day, and I wanted it to be as real as possible and yet it was very hard to shoot those scenes.”

What helped him get through those dark scenes? Blake and the “incredible” female coordinators. Justin continued:

“Honestly, between those three women, they really were the ones choreographing and navigating all of those scenes because I needed to play Ryle. In those moments, to be perfectly frank, I really wasn’t the director; it was those women who were in charge. From the beginning I wanted all the intimate scenes to be from a female gaze and I never wanted my bias to potentially interject and go into the film. So I kind of stepped back and felt all the things and allowed myself to do the work and shook it off as best I could.”

Hmm…

As for Blake? The 36-year-old actress — who is also a producer on IEWU — also pointed out how “critical” it was to have intimacy coordinators involved on set. She told Digital Spy on Saturday:

“You coordinate stunts, you coordinate dancing. It is choreography. So to be able to say ‘This is what happens here, here and here’ in a stunt, and ‘This is what happens here, here and here’ in a dance, but ‘Now you guys just go put your bodies together and your mouths and whatever, and action and cut,’ that’s ridiculous. I think that being choreographed is critical for everyone’s safety.”

Unfortunately, it sounds like things still went way too far at times, even with intimacy and stunt coordinators present on set. Since the feud rumors between Justin and Blake started, we’ve heard a lot about his behavior during filming — and he allegedly was very different from the good guy persona fans have come to know and love from him! The filmmaker was allegedly “borderline abusive,” “unprofessional,” and “unapologetic.” A source even claimed Justin was “dismissive” to Blake’s “input” and only focused on “what he believed was the abusive male viewpoint” while working on the scenes of abuse.

That is a far cry from what Justin said about letting the women, including Blake, take the reins in those scenes. We mean, with the way he has talked about domestic abuse during the promo for the film, no one would have ever suspected this from him! Did he have a feeling these claims would come out eventually and tried to get ahead of the scandal as much as possible?

He also allegedly made Blake feel “uncomfortable” about her postpartum body, even reportedly going so far as to fat-shame her! The allegations only get worse from here. TMZ sources further claimed the Gossip Girl alum once felt Justin lingered too long with a kiss during filming.

Justin apparently couldn’t “shake” off his character all the time, either. At least not in enough time before he pushed some major boundaries — if the claims in the report are true. Reactions, Perezcious readers? Wonder if outlets highlighting the intimacy coordinators have anything to do with the crisis PR Justin supposedly hired!

Last week, the It Ends with Us star sat down for an interview about her highly controversial film, which is based on Colleen Hoover‘s popular book, also stars Justin Baldoni, and tackles the issue of a generational cycle of domestic violence.

While chatting on Jake’s Takes alongside co-star Brandon Sklenar, the interview host asked the mom of four how she would theoretically respond to someone who “relates to” and “understands” the themes of the movie, as well as how she’d react if they were to share a personal domestic violence story with her. The host asked:

“What’s the best way for them to be able to talk to you about this? How would you recommend they go about it?”

You’d think this is, like, the perfect opportunity for Blake to offer a deep and meaningful answer, right? Especially amid all the criticism she’s received for keeping the film’s promo on the more lighthearted end of things despite its dark themes. But no… She fumbled the opportunity HARD. The 39-year-old responded with yet ANOTHER lackadaisical — and downright confusing — answer:

“[They could] ask me for my address or my phone number, or like my location share. I could just location share you.”

Uh, WHAT?? Did she really think this was the time for another joke?! She went on:

“I’m a Virgo, so I’m like, are we talking logistics? Are we talking emotionally?”

What in the world?! How is that even remotely a response to the question she was asked?! Even Brandon looked annoyed!

Ryan Reynolds’ wife eventually went on to say it would be a “blessing” if someone came up to her and told her the film had an impact on them… But still didn’t really answer the question. See her full response (below):

Khelif is suing the X (Twitter) owner and the Harry Potter author for “acts of aggravated cyber harassment,” according to a new report published by Variety on Tuesday afternoon.

As you may recall, Khelif — who won the gold medal in women’s boxing in the 66-kilogram weight division at the Paris Olympics this summer — was the recipient of TONS of online hate throughout the Games this year. That hate came about from a torrent of digital abuse over her perceived gender. Khelif was born female and does not identify as transgender or intersex, but people on X and other platforms were ruthless and relentless in their incorrect accusations that she was a man who was unfairly beating up other women during the competition.

The attacks online were made worse when high-profile public figures jumped into the fray. Rowling specifically accused the boxer of being a man in one X post, and said Khelif was “enjoying the distress of a woman he’s just punched in the head” following her bout with Italian boxer Angela Carini. In another baseless post, high-profile swimmer Riley Gaines claimed that “men don’t belong in women’s sports.” To that, Musk re-posted the message with his follow-up, “absolutely.” Even Donald Trump posted online that he would “protect women’s sports” regarding the hubbub.

And now, Khelif wants redress for the torrent of hate that she faced. Variety received a statement from the Paris Prosecutor’s Office, specifically via their National Center for the Fight Against Online Hatred, which confirmed it had received Khelif’s legal complaint:

“On Aug. 13, (The National Center for the Fight Against Online Hatred) contacted the OCLCH (Central Office for the Fight Against Crimes Against Humanity and Hate Crimes) to conduct an investigation into the counts of cyber harassment due to gender, public insult because of gender, public incitement to discrimination and public insult because of origin.”

Based on French law, because the lawsuit was filed against X itself — as a business entity, it is defined as “unknown persons” — the prosecution has “all the latitude to be able to investigate against all people” on the matter, per that organization. That means lawyers can go after people like Musk, Gaines, Trump, and Rowling who posted hateful messages under their own accounts or under pseudonyms. Khelif’s attorney, Nabil Boudi, stated:

“J.K. Rowling and Elon Musk are named in the lawsuit, among others. Trump tweeted, so whether or not he is named in our lawsuit, he will inevitably be looked into as part of the prosecution. What we’re asking is that the prosecution investigates not only these people but whoever it feels necessary. If the case goes to court, they will stand trial.”

The lawsuit was filed in France, as noted, but Boudi claimed that it “could target personalities overseas,” too. Musk, Trump, Gaines, and Rowling are all obviously not French, so this lawsuit would have to do that considering that it names them specifically.

Variety also spoke to Khelif’s boxing coach with Team Algeria, Pedro Diaz. He told the outlet that the cyber bullying “incredibly affected her… and everyone around her.” Diaz added:

“The first time she fought in the Olympics, there was this crazy storm outside of the ring. I had never seen anything so disgusting in my life.”

And now, it seems as though that storm may be adjudicated in court. Thoughts, y’all? Share ’em (below)…
