Remember a couple years ago when the Dance Moms alum revealed who the “rudest celebrity” she’d ever met was? Well, it just so happened to be the Full House alum — all because of an incident from when JoJo was younger and Candace supposedly refused to take a picture with her. The two attempted to hash things out shortly after that. But then months later, Candace became the face of Hallmark‘s competitor network called Great American Family — which she said “will keep traditional marriage at the core.”

JoJo, a proud member of the LGBTQ community, took issue with the decision and called Cameron out on Instagram soon after that reveal. She wrote at the time:

“Honestly, I can’t believe after everything that went down just a few months ago, that she would not only create a movie with intention of excluding LGBTQIA+, but then also talk about it in the press. This is rude and hurtful to a whole community of people.”

No kidding…

And now, on Monday’s installment of her JoJo Siwa Now podcast, the Karma singer addressed the “very, very public beef” she had with the TV star. She claimed:

“To me, personally, the rudest celebrity I’d ever met was Candace Cameron. She wasn’t nice to me when I met her. That doesn’t mean she’s an awful rude person. That just means that she was the rudest that I ever met. Whatever. [I] flashed it quick, thought no one was going to ever see it.”

JoJo then expressed regret over flashing Cameron’s image in the original TikTok, as the pair had “no real beef” at the time other than the photo-taking gripe. She then clarified her real intent was to “throw shade at a company that did me dirty,” and added:

“It goes back to wanting to stand up for my people but not wanting to create drama that doesn’t necessarily need to be there. But anyway, Candace and I talked about it. She was honestly pretty sweet to me about it. We talked publicly about it as well.”

But as we pointed out, things went back to square one when Candace announced her partnership with Great American Family — which JoJo does NOT approve of. She felt that Candace was “saying that traditional American marriage is not LGBTQ marriage,” and that LGBTQ marriage was not something Candace wanted to promote or even give attention to:

“Whether she meant to do that or not, she still did it, and it still stung the community. Of course, you know, we’re doing all this work to be more visible and out there for kids in the next generation to feel more normal.”

Ultimately though, JoJo said inciting beef with Candace via TikTok was “stupid and messy” and that there’s no hard feelings. But at the end of the days she’s not going to be the sitcom alum’s best friend, either! Siwa explained:

“Honestly, no real shade anymore to Cameron, I just wouldn’t have her on my podcast, you know what I mean? If I saw her, I would just not say hi.”

The nine-time Grammy winner dropped a new collaboration with Charli XCX on Friday and it has EVERYBODY talking… For better or for worse! If you haven’t heard it yet, it’s called Guess and Billie’s feature debuted with a panty-filled music video — as the song is about guessing “the color of my underwear.” Ha! But while some fans are loving the collab, others aren’t pleased with the Birds of a Feather songstress’ lyrics.

In her verse, the 22-year-old, who has been open about being attracted to women, ends her verse proclaiming:

“Charli likes boys but she knows I’d hit it / Charli, call me if you’re with it”

In a TikTok that has now been deleted, one user called out the lyrical content as “highkey predatory” towards Charli, 32, accusing Billie of “queerbaiting” — an accusation she’s been facing for years. The TikToker also criticized the singer of “reducing girls to mere objects, all in an effort to convince the masses she’s actually into them.”

Yikes. But her big brother Finneas O’Connell won’t stand for it!

In the comments of the since-deleted video, the 27-year-old SLAMMED the “clown” social media user. He wrote:

“What a take you little clown. I got to watch the entire internet slam my sister for queer-baiting for an entire year when in reality, you were all forcing her to label and out herself.”

Big brother to the rescue!

Back in 2021, Billie faced backlash after claiming to “love girls” after releasing a music video for her hit song Lost Cause. She didn’t clarify exactly what that meant at the time, and years later accused Variety of outing her in an unrelated interview — like how Finneas said fans tried to force her to “label and out herself.” She said at the time:

“thanks variety for my award and for also outing me on a red carpet at 11 am instead of talking about anything else that matters i like boys and girls leave me alone about it please literally who cares stream ‘what was i made for’”

As for the claim that her lyrics are predatory towards Charli, the British singer doesn’t seem to subscribe to that idea. In a video Billie posted on her Instagram promoting the collab, Charli commented:

“Billieeeeeeee!!!!!!! ahhhh tysm for being on this track i’m beyond honored. love and respect forever!!! you’re one of a kind xxxxxx”

As you may know, their friendship began decades ago when they worked together at the Baltimore news station WJZ-TV. Oprah was a 22-year-old news anchor, while Gayle was a 21-year-old production assistant/writer. They hardly knew each other at the time. But when a major snowstorm hit the area, the legendary talk show host offered the CBS Mornings anchor to stay at her place for the night. No one’s gettin’ stranded on O’s watch!

And just like that, a one-night sleepover ended up turning into a lifelong friendship! The two talked the entire night, and the rest was history! Pals ever since! However, some people have speculated over the years that Oprah and Gayle are more than just friends…

Well, now they have addressed the longtime lesbian rumors. While appearing on Melinda French Gates’ Moments That Makes Us interview series on YouTube this week, the pair told everyone that things are… strictly platonic! Oprah said:

“I think we’ve shared pretty much everything and I would have to say, it wasn’t even a matter of navigation. You know, for years, people used to say we were gay, and listen, we were up against that forever. And people still may think it.”

As Gayle put it, they would 100 percent admit if they were lesbians and dating — but it’s just not true!

“I used to say Oprah, ‘You gotta do a show on this, because it’s hard enough for me to get a date on Saturday night with people thinking we’re gay.’ Because if we were gay, we’d tell you!”

Speaking about the longtime gossip even more, Oprah noted she thinks the rumors started because people “aren’t used to seeing women with this kind of truth bond.”

“The reason why I think our friendship has worked is because Gayle is happier, not happy, but happier for me for any kind of success or victory or challenge I get through than I am for myself. And I feel as happy as she does — I can’t be happier than, cannot surpass Gayle. You cannot out-happy her. I am equally as happy for her.”

Aww! Oprah further pointed out that friendships “with anybody who has a hint of jealousy about anything that you’re doing – certainly about your success or your being celebrated” do not necessarily work. She has a point! Gayle then chimed in, adding:

“I just assumed everybody had a really good friend. I just assumed every woman – maybe not for men – but I just assumed every woman had at least one.”

What also makes their bond so special? They can always be honest with each other about everything. Gayle said:

“In Oprah’s life, everybody is always very flattering and is always very agreeable with things that she says. And sometimes I’ll just go, ‘That’s just not true. Your hair does not look good.’”

So, if anyone’s been shipping Oprah and Gayle together, we hate to burst your bubble, but it’s not happening, nor has it ever happened, according to them! They are friends, and that’s all! Watch their conversation with Melinda (below):
