With references to the 1992 film Death Becomes Her, we see in the video their violent feud playing out over a boy. And when we say violent, we mean it! The Wednesday star cuts off Sabrina’s arm, sets her on fire, and throws her off a balcony so she gets impaled by a fence before electrocuting her! Crazy, right?!

That’s the new claim being made this weekend, at least. First reported widely by The Sun after the gossip account DeuxMoi picked up on anonymous chatter that the pair had allegedly split up, it sounds like things are supposedly over between the pop star and the Saltburn actor. And is it because he wouldn’t stop partying??

Per The Sun‘s reporting, the 25-year-old crooner and the 31-year-old thespian actually split up almost three weeks ago! WHAT?!

And the reason behind the apparent split is supposedly very cut-and-dry: Sabrina got sick of Barry’s hard-partying ways! That outlet reported news from insiders who claimed Carpenter was tired of the Irish actor behaving like an “idiot” while he was drinking. The insider explained:

“Barry acts like an idiot when he is drunk and Sabrina was getting increasingly frustrated. He has always been a party animal and Sabrina was fed up with his antics. She is soaring in the charts and is putting herself first as she gears up for her tour next month.”

And so, she supposedly cut him loose. Wow!

FWIW, as we noted up top, DeuxMoi previously shared an anonymous tip claiming the stars had parted ways back on Friday. But hours after the DeuxMoi tip came through, Barry went on Instagram and double-tapped the like button on a post on Carpenter’s page of her wearing some super-sexy lingerie. So, if this split really is real, his online activity would be interesting, wouldn’t it?!

As you no doubt know, these two have been together for a few months now. Carpenter even declared in a Vanity Fair interview back in June that she was “in love for the first time” amid the romance with the Oscar nominee. So, this would be quite the turnaround from that highest of highs! If this breakup report is really true…

As MailOnline and others note, there’s been no confirmation or denial from either star’s camps yet. And like we said, considering it wasn’t very long ago now that Sabrina was singing his praises, we are a little skeptical. Especially about this claim that the split happened a few weeks back. On Saturday, the Please Please Please singer sang her heart out at Outside Lands at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco — and then screamed her heart out, too! In viral footage obtained by TMZ, the 25-year-old can be seen performing at the festival in a sparkly dress and matching boots. But in the middle of the show, a wall of fireworks detonated behind her. Scary!!

She kept her cool for a brief second, but then let out a scream as she shifted her body away from the pyrotechnics. The Espresso singer then looked back at the display and ran off stage in fear while screaming! Something went WAY wrong with the explosion for her to do that!

It’s not clear if she was hit by any of the fireworks or sparks, or if just the sheer sound and sight of it alone was enough to freak her out. But it looked like she wasn’t about to take any chances with the wonky display! See (below):

He shared no other details on the pregnancy scare or who it was with, but as Perezcious readers know, he was most famously linked to Camila Cabello for a long time. They started dating in 2019 but split in 2021. Then, they had a brief, PDA-filled reunion at Coachella in 2023 — but those sparks seemed to fizzle just as quickly as they came.

That said, they were spotted looking happy together as they watched the Copa América final in Miami last month. Soon after, the Fifth Harmony alum took to her Instagram account to share she was “going thru it lately” and dealing with intense “heartache.” It seemed possible she could’ve been talking about Shawn, but nothing was confirmed and it’s unclear where they stand now.

But if this piece of the song is about her, maybe that had her in her feels?? It’s a possibility. If she knew this song was coming out with this lyric, we could see that bringing up all kinds of difficult emotions!

But the Stitches artist has also been linked to Sabrina Carpenter, chiropractor Jocelyne Miranda, and TV personality Charlie Travers, who appeared to move in with him last December. Hmm…

While he didn’t address the baby bombshell, the 26-year-old told Zane Lowe during an Apple Music 1 interview on Friday that he made it a point to be super candid about all he’s been through amid his hiatus, saying:

“I realized there was two options for me. It was literally like, ‘I’m going to go down this path of speaking my exact truth or I’m going to dance around it. It felt pointless to dance around it, even if the song was never to see the light of day.”

He continued:
