The Pirates of the Caribbean actor surprised Instagram followers on Tuesday by sharing a carousel of new pics featuring his 13-year-old son Flynn! The shots came from Monterey Car Week, where it looks like the father-son duo did a bit of bonding while looking at some fast and furious race cars. Orlando chose not to display his son’s face in the pics, but what we CAN see is how tall the youngster is!

In the first pic in the carousel, the dad and son stand side by side as Orlando gently wraps his arm around the teen. Following are some sweet solo shots of the Lord of the Rings star posing next to the high-speed rigs, before Flynn re-joins in the final pic to show that he’s almost as tall as his dad! It’s hard to believe Orlando welcomed Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr all the way back in 2011. We remember when that kiddo was a teeny tiny baby in Orlando’s arms! Time really does fly! But while things may not have worked out with the model, Orlando moved on with Katy Perry and and two welcomed daughter Daisy Dove in  2020.

Days after her Lifetimes music video dropped, it’s come out she’s under investigation for possible environmental damage to the dunes of S’Espalmador! The gorgeous area, found in Spain’s Balearic Islands, is one of the locations she chose to look like she was having the time of her life.

The issue is they’re protected due to their importance to the environment — and the area is prohibited! It’s even marked off with ropes!

The Environment Department of the Balearic Islands dropped a press release on Tuesday saying Katy and director Stillz filmed without the proper authorization, which is illegal! The dept made clear filming there is not inherently a “crime against the environment” as one can get authorization. But they didn’t, so no one was on hand to make sure Katy and the crew didn’t cause any damage to the protected dunes! Oof!

This is NOT a good look for Katy, who previously lost some feminist cred as well after hiring on Dr. Luke to produce her new record. Seems like she just doesn’t care about anything anymore. Damn, did Witness really do that bad??

The answer, of course, is yes, it did. But it’s no excuse for endangering areas of ecological importance.

On Monday, the 39-year-old singer posted pics and video to her Instagram of the parents being daredevils! They jumped out of a helicopter into the ocean together! We’re not kidding!

In a clip of the exciting moment, Katy films Orlando sticking out his tongue before flipping the camera around to show herself. The video then cuts to the couple sitting on the edge of the chopper as the Pirates of the Caribbean actor counts to three. Katy and Orlando then jumped out and hit the water before eventually coming back to the surface. She also included two photos of them mid-fall! Wow! The caption features lyrics from her new track Lifetimes:

“Like the stars are in the sky You and I will find each other In every single life”
