In 2010, Sarah Palin’s daughter appeared on Season 11 of the dance competition series and paired with professional dancer Mark Ballas. Despite low scores from the judges each week, the pair went very far in the show! A lot further than anyone expected! In fact, they placed third during the finale! Of course, her dodging elimination for weeks and ending up in the top three shocked and infuriated viewers! Even her fellow competitors — and the pros — were irritated by the outcome! And one person in particular wasn’t afraid to make sure Bristol knew their feelings about it, according to the 33-year-old reality star! (FYI, she later returned to the show for the all-stars season, where she and Mark were eliminated in week four.)

During an appearance on former DWTS pro Cheryl Burke’s Sex, Lies and Spray Tans podcast Monday, Bristol claimed Maksim Chmerkovskiy didn’t like her at all! Whoa! When the 40-year-old dancer asked who “rolled their eyes” at her and Mark every time she survived elimination, she replied:

“Oh, who? Maks? He hated me so much. I don’t know why [he didn’t like me]. Probably just because we kept going through. I mean, he was real nice in the beginning, but it was one of those things where as we kept going through. I definitely felt the tension from him. I forgot about that. Yeah, because the further we went along in it, the more it was like, ‘Oh gosh, okay.’”

Maks and his partner Brandy were the frontrunners of the season and then kicked off right before the finale. So yeah, we can see why he was probably very frustrated that Bristol and Mark made it through each week!

But as for whether he “hated” her? A rep for the dancer told People that’s simply not true. They said:

“Maks doesn’t hate anybody and he’s never hated Bristol. His bad boy reputation was overblown by the media at the time. He was really good at dancing and he was really competitive, which are two important qualities you need to be on Dancing with the Stars. Maks was disappointed because he and Brandy were on their way to win that year. He and everyone else in America were taken by surprise.”

Mickey Guyton, who was also on the show, was the first to criticize Bobby’s win, which Julianne wholeheartedly agreed with:

“Oh, I actually agree with you! And I think it’s because of the fanbase, right? It’s all about the fanbase on that show … He was not the best dancer, I agree.”

Ouch! And now, Bobby is clapping back!

The radio personality took to Instagram on Monday to sound off on the situation:

“Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live had Julianne Hough on [who] I’ve met her a couple times, she’s awesome. Julianne Hough [gets] no slander from me. But they asked Julianne Hough who was the worst ever and she was a bit diplomatic, and Mickey Guyton, of all people, was like, ‘Bob Bones.’ And so Julianne was like, ‘Yeah.’”

But guess what? He AGREES! The 44-year-old continued:

“I was the worst dancer. I take pride in that. Now I tried as hard as anyone in the history of the show, but I can’t dance now. I couldn’t dance then. But you know who took down the big evil empire of dance? Well, it’s not evil or an empire, but me and you. We did it together. I’m the greatest champion ever I didn’t say I was the greatest dancer, I’m the greatest champion ever because I’m a man of the people. I’m the man that you guys selected.”

He added:

“Julianne Hough, you’re cool … You’re awesome.”

On an episode of Watch What Happens Live on Sunday, the 36-year-old revealed that she thinks the season 27 winner of the dance competition show didn’t deserve his place. In the clip, guest host Mickey Guyton said she thinks champ Bobby Bones shouldn’t have taken home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy — and Julianne was totally in agreement:

“Oh, I actually agree with you! And I think it’s because of the fanbase, right? It’s all about the fanbase on that show.”

In fact, she went on to add that she thinks he’s just not a great dancer in general:

“He was not the best dancer, I agree.”

The DWTS host quickly clarified her stance along with Mickey, though, and they both said he had “great” fans who “love him.” You can see the clip (below):

If you don’t remember, Bobby did the popular “flossing” dance move with his partner Sharna Burgess on the show, which racked up TONS of fan votes and got him the win.

However, a source claimed to Dailymail.com on Friday that Jamie Lynn IS using the drug to help her lose weight. But the problem? Her loved ones are afraid she’ll take things way too far! Uh oh! It sounds like we could have an alleged Scott Disick situation here… An insider said:

“Her friends and family have told her that she looks incredible and that she does not need to lose any more weight, but she’s not listening.”

According to the outlet, Jamie Lynn received a ton of brutal comments about her appearance when she went on multiple reality shows like Dancing With the Stars, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! All the hate knocked her confidence. So when the Zoey 101 alum got the confirmation she would reprise her role in the upcoming fourth season of Sweet Magnolias, she allegedly decided to try to lose weight through Ozempic. However, after successfully shedding a few pounds, Jamie Lynn is now having a tough time quitting! The source explained:

“Jamie Lynn hopped on the Ozempic train, and is now struggling to get off. She was mortified over her appearance when she did a string of shows last year. She read the comments and took it very, very hard. When Sweet Magnolia’s was renewed for season 4 she was so focused on getting a new body. Her friends were supportive because many of them use it too and by the time she started filming in January she looked great and was happy.”

Although her pals were “supportive” at first, they’re growing worried about Britney Spears’ little sister. Their concerns are just being brushed off by Jamie Lynn as she is afraid to gain the weight back, though, says the source:

“But then she kept going and is now having difficulty pulling the plug on it. She is so scared of gaining it all back that she is willing to put her desire to have a ‘summer body’ before her wellbeing.”

So far, the singer reportedly has had “some” side effects:

“She has had some side affects just as most people have and although they are not severe enough to warrant her being forced to stop, they have affected her. She gets headaches a lot and has a hard time focusing and also stomach cramps.”

Umm… All of that sounds pretty “severe” and unpleasant to us! Jeez!

It’s not just the negative comments that pushed Jamie Lynn to go on Ozempic and continue to suffer through these side effects, though! Or even the main reason! Another source told the outlet the Follow Me artist mainly wants to “step on the gas” when it comes to her career next year and fears her weight will hurt her plans:

“Jamie Lynn is eager to step on the gas with her career coming into 2025. She understands that her name and connection to her sister will open doors, but fears her physical appearance could impact this. She understands the pressure that Hollywood puts on actors for the way they look. So she turned to Ozempic to remain in the conversation of TV bosses.”

It’s heartbreaking to hear she’s dealing with the horrible side effects just to keep her career — if this is true. It’s important to take this report with a grain of salt as we haven’t heard from Jamie Lynn herself on whether she’s really taking Ozempic. While hanging out with Dax Shepard on Monday’s episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, Julianne dropped some major details about her past relationships with Ryan Seacrest and Brooks Laich! Ooh, juicy!

Let’s start with Ryan. Of course, you know the Dancing with the Stars pro-turned-host dated the TV presenter back in 2010 and they eventually split in 2013. Until now, though, we’ve been mostly blind as to what actually went down between the two.

Julianne, for the record, maintains that Ryan is an amazing guy and she holds no animosity towards him — and their breakup was way more complicated than met the eye:

“…dating Seacrest… it would be so exciting and so privileged and so romantic and then also I would feel like I was losing myself to all of that. That was exactly the dynamic. The rug was swept up from underneath me, and I was just flying and I was experiencing things that I didn’t even know existed. But then I had this insecurity that I was like, ‘I don’t ever want anybody to think that I’m with him for this reason.’ And so I then started playing smaller.”

The dancer admitted she didn’t want the world to think she was “using” the producer for fame since she was still up-and-coming at the time:

“I know that that was his experience in past situations and stuff, and so I again overcompensated, [I] was malleable to fit into exactly what somebody needed me to be for them to be happy.”

Oof. That’s a great way to lose your sense of self. And when you can’t have a healthy relationship with yourself, you can’t have a healthy relationship with someone else. It makes sense she decided she needed out.

After her breakup with the LIVE with Kelly and Mark host, she went on to date and eventually marry Brooks Laich, but that sadly ended in divorce. She revealed that took far less time to fall apart. She told Dax their relationship began “unraveling” as soon as they got hitched, and explained their streak of bad luck as individuals and as a couple:

“He was injured and then he got traded before his team that he had been there for almost 12 years won the Stanley Cup. It makes me want to cry because I feel for him so bad. That was in 2017. That was the year we got married and the year that everything started unraveling.”

Julianne said after that, when she finally asked for a separation from the NHL star in 2019, BOTH of her dogs, Lexi and Harley, died:

“It was very tragic. That was all kind of happening at the same time and it was an unraveling. Everything that I had ever known, that I had put in place for my control and my protection … I had this marriage to this guy who represented more of a father figure to me, and while he was changing, I was changing.”

Oh, plus the pandemic happened… which they spent several states apart. Julianne went on to say she felt like she’d been “uprooted”:

“I [felt like] I literally blew up my entire life and I have nothing.”

Despite feeling that maybe in “another time, another place” things could’ve worked out, she has “accepted” the end of that relationship and has no regrets. And even though she’s “sad” it didn’t “work out in the end”, the actress explained:

“I feel like our relationship and our marriage was exactly right, and the end of it is right, too. We both have regrets that it didn’t work out, because I don’t think we had the maturity to come together. He was contracting while I was expanding. We just couldn’t find each other in that.”

All in all, Julianne says she’s “only dated great human beings” in her life:

“He’s got the greatest heart that I could have ever had the privilege of being with.”

Cameron, known to General Hospital fans as hunky Drew Cain, made a podcast appearance just a week and a half before the news that may actually give us more insight into the split than intended…

Speaking to Cheryl Burke on her Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans podcast, the soap star dished on his time as a competitor on Dancing With The Stars — and how it caused some issues at home. Cameron was on Season 5 way back in 2007, about five years into his marriage. He learned early on he’d be paired with Edyta Śliwińska, and that apparently didn’t sit well with someone… He recalled:

“She’s a very beautiful woman, and I don’t even know if Edyta knows this. I actually called Dina Katz, who’s my dear friend now, who at the time was casting director. I called her and I said, ‘Listen, I’m so happy that you’ve offered me the show. I can’t wait. I’m in. Just do me a favor. Put me with anybody but Edyta.'”

What?? Why??

“I knew my wife and I, we were going through a little bit of a challenge at that time, and Edyta didn’t wear a lot of clothes.”

Um… WHAT.

Reading between the lines here, it sounds like he was worried about Vanessa getting jealous. As in, he gave her a reason to be insecure about their marriage. That “little bit of a challenge” sounds to us like a really soft euphemism for “cheating scandal.” We should be clear, Cameron doesn’t come out and say that, but we don’t know how else to read this!

He elaborated:

“We’d recently gone through a bunch of stuff, and it wasn’t great timing and I was off in L.A. spending time with this beautiful woman, dressed up, against her, sweating with her five hours a day rehearsing, and then doing all the press and touring stuff together, and it was really hard.”

Hmm…

To be clear, Edyta was a newlywed, having just married investor Alec Mazo. So  The All My Children alum said the popularity of the show made it a real “pressure cooker” of nerves that forged a real bond between the dance pros and contestants:

“You become really close, and it works for the show, and it works for the people that are watching the show, but it doesn’t work for the family at home.”

Damn, he really is implying it was a struggle for his wife — though he says she was “a trooper” about the whole thing.

Back in 2007, the country singer competed on the fourth season of the show with professional dance partner Karina Smirnoff. At the time, he was in the spotlight again while portraying the lovable Robby Ray Stewart on Hannah Montana, which also starred his daughter Miley Cyrus. But it turns out what he portrayed on screen wasn’t always how he acted in real life — at least, based on what Cheryl once witnessed on set!

On an episode of her podcast Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans late last month, the ballroom dancer claimed she saw Billy Ray “physically hurt” the stage manager on DWTS. Whoa!!! She recalled to her guest Jill Escoto at the time:

“I love Billy Ray. He was always so nice to me. But I have to tell you the story. We have dress rehearsal right before we go live, about two hours prior to the show, and we do this as if it’s the real thing, except it’s like an R-rated version because [host] Tom Bergeron would always just talk s**t and it was so funny.”

While the cast would joke around and have a good time during the rehearsal, they also “took their dancing very seriously.” As Cheryl pointed out, the director had to get the lighting squared away so they “still had to get on our marks.” Toward the end of the dress rehearsal, a stage manager asked Billy Ray to “get on his mark,” so that “the director could light him.” However, the Achy Breaky Heart singer completely ignored him. The stage manager then asked him again to get on the mark several more times. But what does Billy Ray do instead of listening? The actor allegedly “donkey kicked him”! Over a simple request! Cheryl claimed:

“[The stage manager had] been asking like three, four times by then, and Billy Ray kicked him out of nowhere. Straight up donkey kicked him.”

OMG!

The 40-year-old television personality insisted the stage manager was “being so nice” before the assault. But afterward, the whole set turned into chaos:

“Don’t kick him, let alone, don’t kick anyone. It turned into a hot mess. His time was up after that. It was not OK. It came out of nowhere.”

Jeez. That is not cool to do to a crew member — or anyone! When Jill questioned if the kick was “an accident,” Cheryl shared that it was clear to everyone around that it wasn’t. She did mention that he was possibly “nervous” about the show since he was “getting crap from the judges.” But c’mon, there is no reason to kick someone for doing their job and asking you to do your job!

Burke said:

“No, it was very much intentional. Maybe he was nervous, but you can’t physically hurt somebody. You need to do your job. We’re not doing this for free either, by the way.”

This is not a good look for Billy Ray, especially amid the abuse allegations against him! Last month, Firerose claimed she dealt with “extreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse” during their short-lived marriage. The Ready, Set, Don’t Go artist denied the allegations, claiming he was the one who physically, verbally, and emotionally abused in the relationship. However, audio leaked backing the claims made by Firerose!

In the clip, Billy Ray belittled her and called her “f**king selfish bitch,” a “f**king idiot,” and more. Over what? He was upset she supposedly didn’t want him to perform with Nicki Minaj at one of the rapper’s concerts. In the leaked clip, he also said Miley was a “skank,” and ex-wife Tish Cyrus was a “whore.”

Following the leak, Billy confirmed that he had indeed said all those cruel words to Firerose. He attempted to justify his actions by saying he was at his “wit’s end” and suspicious about her at that point. But at the end of the day, that is no excuse to tear someone apart like that!

And while much of the 50-minute interview was dedicated to Brittany’s new show — and her struggling relationship with estranged husband Jax Taylor, the 35-year-old still found time to talk about Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, and the affair of the century!!

It’s no secret Ariana has been on quite the come-up ever since Scandoval first hit the airwaves. She’s landed lucrative endorsement deals, penned a cocktail book, starred in a Lifetime movie, hosted Love Island USA, earned a leading role in Chicago on Broadway, and she even was cast on Dancing With The Stars. Amazing! But all those things have combined to make her VPR castmates very, very jealous — so says Brittany, at least! Chatting about the current goings-on in the VPR world after Scandoval changed everything, Cruz Cauchi‘s momma jabbed:

“I think it’s obvious that there’s a little bit of jealousy going on in that show.”

No kidding! But Cartwright was quick to add that she’s not necessarily jealous of Madix, herself. And the emotions around it may be complicated for the likes of stars like Lala Kent and Scheana Shay:

“I’m definitely happy for her and I know that they’re all happy for her. I think that everybody’s just like, ‘Well, why isn’t this happening to me!?'”

Um… because y’all didn’t get horribly betrayed in a way that seems both shocking and also relatable? And thank goodness??

Take Scheana as a specific example here. After Ariana was announced as a cast member on the last season of DWTS, Brock Davies‘ wife broke down in tears! Scheana has been pining for a spot on DWTS for years and years — and to see Madix get the opportunity was too much for her! Brittany noted:

“She’s definitely happy for Ariana, but you can still be happy for someone and want to do those things too.”

We hear that. But is it true what Brittany is saying — that cast members are outright green with envy?? Well, uh, maybe!! And to be fair, Scheana isn’t the only one with issues! VPR fans will readily recall how Lala slammed Ariana in a recent confessional. The Give Them Lala podcast host criticized Madix’s come-up to producers by saying:

“[Ariana] needs to pull her head from out of her own ass and remember who her friends are and what they’ve done for her.”

And last week Lala doubled down with criticism of Ariana’s post-Scandoval timeline by calling out Madix and her new BF Daniel Wai:

“I want you to shed knowledge on how you can stay in the same house and get a boyfriend in ten days. How do you compartmentalize? I don’t understand it.”

The post Brittany Cartwright Calls Out <i>Vanderpump Rules</i> Cast's Jealousy Of Ariana Madix After Scandoval! appeared first on Perez Hilton.

You may have heard Derek Hough‘s wife underwent emergency skull surgery two months ago after suffering a cranial hematoma due to a burst blood vessel. A few weeks later, she had a cranioplasty to replace the part of her head that was removed. So yeah, it’s been a difficult few months for Hayley. And now, she’s ready to begin opening up about what happened to her — starting by showing off both the “new haircut” and “new scar” she received from her surgery.

Sporting a pixie cut after having her head shaved for surgery, Hayley appeared on camera with her husband to finally address her health scare head on, so to speak. She began in the video posted to Instagram on Monday:

“In the beginning of December, I had an emergency craniotomy. Then, a couple of weeks later, I had a cranioplasty. And here I am today. It’s been quite the journey. There’s been so much that has happened in two months. Lots of emotions.”

For his part, Derek praised the professional dancer’s strength throughout her health struggles. He said:

“It’s been wild going from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows. But I have to say, throughout this experience this woman has been unbelievable and her perseverance and her acceptance of the whole situation, her strength, it’s been remarkable to witness firsthand. She really is a miracle and it’s been miraculous and it’s still a journey.”

Even though Hayley has some “bad days” amid her recovery, she’s been getting better every day. She shared:

“To this day, I still have really good days and I have really bad days—emotionally and physically sometimes—but I’m doing so much better every single day. Truly there is so much progress every day and I’m so grateful for that.”

With tears in her eyes, Hayley noted all the love and support she received while in the hospital is what helped her heal “a little bit faster” than expected:

“Thank you all so much for all of your messages, your love, your energy, your light, your prayers. Thank you guys for all of it because it means so much to me and to us as a family. And genuinely, I believe it’s what’s gotten me through this a little bit faster, and it’s what helped me heal. It’s what helped me stay positive throughout the entire experience.”

Hayley then took a moment to show off her new look — including the scar on top of her head. She even pointed out the “new” sac of cerebral spinal fluid on her face. Don’t worry, though! She explained the fluid is “supposed to eventually go away!” Phew! The 29-year-old continued:

“I also got a new skull, but also a new outlook on life. Life is so precious and just spend time with the ones you love, hold them close because you never know what could happen. … I’m just grateful to be alive and to be here to tell my story.”

Hayley plans to share the full story of her health journey in the future. But for now, she’s continuing to rest up and heal. Watch the inspiring video (below):
