Ashley Tisdale is showing love to Vanessa Hudgens!
On Monday, the High School Musical alum took to her Instagram Story to do a Q&A with fans. During the sesh, one person wondered “how cool it is” that she and her former co-star and (ex?) BFF are having kids at about the same time — after both announced back in March that they are pregnant. Ash replied:
“It’s very cool! I’m so excited for her and this new chapter in her life.
“
“So sweet! …Yet we can’t help but notice how cryptic that response is!

If you don’t know, fans think the former pals are feuding. A big clue came when Vanessa tied the knot to Cole Tucker in December 2023. And while several Disney Channel alums were in attendance, Ashley was NOT! And in fact, the two (former?!) friends hadn’t been seen together publicly since 2022!
The Phineas and Ferb actress opened up about rift rumors while on Watch What Happens Live in March, too. She revealed that there was some distance between her and her HSM co-star. Funny enough, she blamed that partially on parenthood (since she’s already mom to a 3-year-old daughter, Jupiter), by saying:
“I haven’t seen her in a long time. I think, obviously, she’s working. I’m working. I have a daughter, so it’s like, you know, she’s a full-time job.”
But now that Ashley is pregnant with her second child at the same time as Vanessa, maybe they’ll start hanging out again? Unless, you know, something else tore them apart — like, perhaps, Ashley’s friendship with Vanessa’s ex Austin Butler!? We’ll have to wait and see! Thoughts? Let us know (below)!
