Vanessa Hudgens is a MOM! The High School Musical alum just gave birth to her first child with husband Cole Tucker! Can you believe it?!

The first time mom was seen leaving the hospital in new pics obtained by TMZ — with her little bundle of joy wrapped up in her arms!

Just off camera is Cole, hauling a massive collection of luggage, presumably Vanessa’s clothes and whatever else she needed for the delivery. The MLB star being right there with his wife and child is such a good sign! And speaking of signs… as in the astrological kind…

Funny enough, July 3 is Cole’s birthday! So if the baby was born this morning, that makes them bday twins! Though it’s more likely the birth was yesterday at the latest if they’re leaving already. Still, they’re definitely going to have a lot to celebrate in July from now on!

So far, no official announcement from Vanessa — no name or gender or stats. But we’re just so happy mother and child seem so happy and healthy! HUGE congrats, girl!!!

When asked by Access Hollywood at the A Family Affair premiere on Thursday about her and Ashley Tisdale being pregnant at the same time, the actor had nothing but sweet things to say to the two mommas! He gushed to the outlet:

“They’re gonna be the best moms ever. Those girls, are you kidding me?”

Aww! Zac then teased a future High School Musical get-together, saying:

It was a welcome comment as rumors have swirled that the High School Musical co-stars have been feuding in recent months… Namely because Ashley, who is also currently pregnant, was noticeably absent from Vanessa and husband Cole Tucker’s wedding. She sort of touched on that during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in March, noting they’re both just super busy (sure, sure…), and since the 38-year-old is already mom to 3-year-old daughter Jupiter with husband Christopher French, it can be hard to carve out time. But what does Vanessa have to say?

The Tick, Tick… Boom! star sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, where she was asked about Ashley’s comment and her pregnancy support system. The 35-year-old responded:

“It’s amazing! I mean it’s really incredible, when you reach a new point of your life, how women show up. And, like, new women have been showing up in ways that I haven’t expected.”

That was definitely a well-put response, and she could have just been grouping her former co-star in, but does anyone feel like she kind of side stepped the MAIN point of the question — how she feels about Ashley’s comment, specifically?? Also, “showing up in ways that I haven’t expected” kinda alludes to expecting NO support, right? Right??

On Monday, the High School Musical alum took to her Instagram Story to do a Q&A with fans. During the sesh, one person wondered “how cool it is” that she and her former co-star and (ex?) BFF are having kids at about the same time — after both announced back in March that they are pregnant. Ash replied:

“It’s very cool! I’m so excited for her and this new chapter in her life. “

So sweet! …Yet we can’t help but notice how cryptic that response is!

If you don’t know, fans think the former pals are feuding. A big clue came when Vanessa tied the knot to Cole Tucker in December 2023. And while several Disney Channel alums were in attendance, Ashley was NOT! And in fact, the two (former?!) friends hadn’t been seen together publicly since 2022!

The Phineas and Ferb actress opened up about rift rumors while on Watch What Happens Live in March, too. She revealed that there was some distance between her and her HSM co-star. Funny enough, she blamed that partially on parenthood (since she’s already mom to a 3-year-old daughter, Jupiter), by saying:

“I haven’t seen her in a long time. I think, obviously, she’s working. I’m working. I have a daughter, so it’s like, you know, she’s a full-time job.”

But now that Ashley is pregnant with her second child at the same time as Vanessa, maybe they’ll start hanging out again? Back in October, the actress had a bachelorette party in Aspen, Colorado, with her girlfriends ahead of her wedding to now-husband Cole Tucker. When Vanessa posted a video from the weekend at the time, her comments section was flooded with people who thought it was OK (it NEVER is) to speculate about whether she was with child. The chatter got so bad that she actually had to shut down the rumors and write, “Not pregnant so y’all can stop.”

Now, she’s looking back at the pregnancy rumors. During an appearance on the She Pivots podcast Wednesday, the High School Musical alum slammed the “rude” comments, saying:

“I was like, ‘That is so rude. I’m sorry, I don’t wear Spanx every day, and, like, am a real woman and have a real body.’”

Go off, girl!

Vanessa went on to say that while she was supposed to be celebrating one of the best moments in her life, the constant talk about her body and whether she was pregnant ruined it and made her feel “fat”:

“I’m literally celebrating one of the happiest times of my life, and you guys are just gonna make me feel fat. That’s great. Thanks.”

Oof. After what she experienced, the singer wanted to remind everyone of one of the “four agreements” amongst women — to not “make assumptions.” She added:

“… in all aspects of life, but especially over other women’s bodies. We deal with so much with other people trying to control our bodies, let’s not make assumptions over other women’s bodies as well.”

Vanessa was a guest on Wednesday’s episode of the She Pivots podcast, where she opened up about the split — which was apparently one of the best things to ever happen to her!

She said:

“I feel like so much of my character was built from my breakups. My last breakup had really catapulted me into a very, very special place.”

Of course, she’s only had the one breakup in such a long time. She and Austin were together for almost a decade before they broke up in 2020.

But leaving that relationship only brought Vanessa to her true happiness. She beamed:

“It pushed me to the right person, which I’m so grateful for.”

Obviously she’s talking about new hubby Cole Tucker. She gushed about the MLB star:

“He is just the most supportive, real, understanding human being that I’ve ever met.”

Ooh, we know she’s just complimenting her husband, which is great, but… in this context, does anyone else think she’s jabbing at her ex a bit? After all, calling Cole “real” after shading Austin over his neverending Elvis accent and failure to credit her for helping him get his star-making role? Feels pretty pointed, no?

The actress appeared on Tuesday night’s Watch What Happens Live when Andy Cohen seized the opportunity to ask about the High School Musical co-stars‘ rumored feud. He pondered:

In a HILARIOUS video going viral on TikTok uploaded by @natbanda, the Jenny from the Block singer’s team breaks some tough news to the popstar about a lengthy list of celebs who turned down roles in her movie:

“Taylor Swift is a no. Jason Momoa is not available. Jennifer Coolidge is not available. Lizzo is not available.”

Other big names who turned down a role included Vanessa Hudgens, Bad Bunny, James Corden, Ariana Grande — as she was in London filming Wicked at the time — and Snoop Dogg. At that point, an extremely frustrated looking J.Lo said:

“I don’t want to force anybody to do this who doesn’t go, ‘This is going to be fun.’ If nobody wants to say ‘No’ to me, I get that. But when an actor doesn’t like a script and doesn’t think it’s good enough, or is worried about it, that’s what they’ll say. I know that. I’ve done it.”

Finally, Derek Hough, who was front and center in her Can’t Get Enough music video, was apparently busy with a wedding — which led Jennifer to ask “Whose wedding?” Well, he did just get married last year… So maybe HIS! LOLz! But the Hustlers star insisted to an off camera voice:
