Karlie Kloss is opening up about Taylor Swift!
As Perezcious readers know, Taylor and Karlie used to be BFFs — and some even thought they may have had a secret romance, too. But their friendship came to an end after an apparent falling out, which seemingly began sometime in 2017. While the model did shockingly show up to the Eras Tour last summer, she was notably NOT in the VIP tent where Taylor’s close friends and A-list fans usually sit. Instead, Karlie was out in the crowd with all the other Swifties.
Then, right after The Tortured Poets Department dropped, Karlie was seen in a photo with Kim Kardashian — AKA Aimee of thanK you aIMee, which totally seemed like a diss!

That’s why we were surprised to see Karlie not only talking about her former pal but praising her! (Although, depending on how you read into it, it could also be shady, too!) While chatting with Yahoo Life on Monday, the 31-year-old was asked to name her favorite track off the singer’s latest album. Karlie avoided a specific answer, simply saying:
“I’d say the whole album. I mean, her music is classic.”
Kind, but vague AF! Maybe this was a subtle jab? Pretending she’s so over her friendship that she doesn’t know a single hit off the album?? It’s possible!
When the interviewer doubled down and asked for her overall favorite of the artist’s songs, Karlie dished:
“She’s got so many hits. I definitely love Shake it Off.“
It’s hard not to like that song, especially since it came out at the peak of the pair’s friendship! BTW, this is a change since 2013 when Karlie said her “favorite song” was Love Story. But the fact that she’s talking about TayTay at all — especially after attending a concert — says a lot!
Maybe they’re working things out?? Or, at least enough time has passed that there’s no more bad blood?? What do YOU think? Sound OFF (below)!
