Kaia Gerber just posted the ultimate diss at an ex on her Instagram! On Tuesday, the model posted a photo of herself rocking a skinny black bikini while sunbathing on a dock. Normally, that kind of thirst trap alone would be enough to send a signal — but she added way more oomph! In the photo, she was holding a book titled DEAR D**KHEAD — and in the caption she wrote that it was “a book for someone i used to know.” DAMN! But that’s not all! In a second photo, she highlighted a passage from the book, which read:

“At this point, your sheer dumbf**kery commands a certain respect. But it doesn’t change the basics: I don’t give a s**t about you. All my love to your sister, she was a wonderful friend.”

Damn!!!

BTW, the book is a French novel by Virginie Despentes about a “B-list novelist” who insults an actress online and they “strike up a combative correspondence.” And get this! The guy gets “accused of sexual harassment by his former publicist.” The book touches deeply on the patriarchy and addiction, per Macmillan Publishers. It’s the September pick for Kaia and Alyssa Reeder‘s Library Science book club, too, which was also announced on the day this was posted.

But adding in a subtweet of “someone” she used to know is… another level! Obviously with the sexual politics the book is playing in, we have to think she’s blasting a guy she dated.

In recent years, Kaia’s been linked to Jacob Elordi and, briefly, Pete Davidson. She’s currently dating Austin Butler — at least, if they’re still good. Who is this book message for? Well, they all have sisters, so that won’t help narrow down the mystery man! Who do Y’ALL think she could be calling out?? Is she referencing a former beau — or did the Elvis star just do something to piss her off?!

They’ve been linked since 2021 and were last spotted holding hands while out and about in NYC almost two weeks ago. So far as we know, everything’s been going well in the romance… but maybe s**t just hit the fan and she’s subtly hinting at it?? We hope not!! Also with the “used to know” thing we’re thinking ancient history. Then again… it is a pretty fresh-feeling attack!

We have to talk about the establishment’s name! See, in the eyes of some Summer House fans, it’s SUPER shady! Why?? Before calling off their engagement last year, Carl begged Lindsay to be “softer” with him. But is it true? Is the pointto jab Lindsay? Not according to Carl, who says there’s nothing shady about the name! He explained to Page Six he came up with the moniker “Soft Bar” after he came across several bars in Europe that called non-alcoholic drinks “soft cocktails” or “softs”:

“While ‘Soft drinks’ is a term used in the US, it has a different connotation, typically representing soda. I wanted to define a new — and much needed — category and space, having ‘soft drinks’ or ‘softs’ be seen as functional and high quality non [alcoholic] beverages for adults. I was sharing this thought during a conversation with my co-founder as we discussed raising the bar in the non-[alcoholic] space, ultimately leading us to the name ‘Soft Bar.’”

All of that may be so! But Carl also most likely knew how folks would react, right? That they’d think the name was shade toward Lindsay, considering one of their many fights was about her needing to be “softer” with him? Not everyone will immediately assume he meant “soft cocktails,” right?

After helping lead her team to victory at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday, the gymnastics pro took to her Instagram to share several photos from the incredible moment the team took home gold — AND she clapped back at her former teammate MyKayla Skinner‘s diss!

Several weeks ago, the retired athlete, who competed with Simone at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, uploaded a YouTube video slamming the current state of the sport, saying:

“Besides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t like what it used to be. […] A lot of girls don’t work as hard. The girls just don’t have the work ethic.”

Dang!!

She also slammed the U.S. Center for SafeSport, a non-profit that was created to help end the history of “sexual, physical, and emotional abuse” in the sport for both the U.S. Olympic and Paralympics, by adding:

“Like, coaches can’t get on athletes and they have to be really careful what they say. Which, in some ways is really good, but at the same time, to get to where you need to be in gymnastics you do have to be, I feel like, a little aggressive and a little intense.”

WTF.

After all the sexual abuse many of these athletes went through at the hands of their team’s doctor, saying anything disparaging about an org meant to change this violence is wild! Let alone to say that athletes can’t be as good without enduring “aggressive” coaching!

Simone seemed to get the last word in her aforementioned IG post, which featured pics of her teammates Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera. Referencing this scandal in the caption, she wrote:

“lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions.”

LOLz!!!

Tons of fellow athletes supported the jab in the comments, including former USA gymnastics team member McKayla Maroney, who joked:

FYI, “F**k Around And Find Out” was the girls’ team name this year. Hah! FWIW, in early July when backlash initially hit, MyKayla argued that her comments were “misinterpreted or misunderstood,” adding:

“It was more about going back into my own gym, just the work ethic is different compared to when we were doing gymnastics in the [former team coordinator] Márta [Károlyi] era. And I’m not sticking up for Márta or saying what she did was good, I’m just saying it was different.”

She followed up with another more detailed apology, sharing:

“Dear Team USA & our gymnastics community, I want to formally apologize to Team USA and to our gymnastics community for my recent YouTube episodes of the gymnastics Olympics trials. It was not my intention to defend or disrespect any of the athletes or to take away from their hard work. Your hard work and dedication has paid off and I congratulate each and every one of you.”

She continued:

“Upon reflection I was comparing the ‘Marta Era’ to the current era. I am coming to terms that I have not fully dealt with the emotional and verbal abuse I endured under Marta that perhaps led to my hurtful comments. I take full responsibility for what I said and I deeply apologize.”

“I’d say the whole album. I mean, her music is classic.”

Kind, but vague AF! Maybe this was a subtle jab? Pretending she’s so over her friendship that she doesn’t know a single hit off the album?? It’s possible!

When the interviewer doubled down and asked for her overall favorite of the artist’s songs, Karlie dished:

“She’s got so many hits. I definitely love Shake it Off.“

It’s hard not to like that song, especially since it came out at the peak of the pair’s friendship! BTW, this is a change since 2013 when Karlie said her “favorite song” was Love Story. But the fact that she’s talking about TayTay at all — especially after attending a concert — says a lot!

News interview. Now, the pair are continuing to rub their relationship right in Shannon’s face because the 47-year-old returned to RHOC as a friend for Season 18!

Except on Ariana’s version, she covered up her ex-boyfriend with… a sticker of a purple and gold achievement ribbon that read “well done”! Ha! The reality star captioned it:

She also posted the photo alongside Taylor Swift‘s song I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, which is all about continuing to work amid a breakup. Something she knows a lot about!

Considering he deleted his Instagram in light of his controversial lawsuit, we doubt Sandoval saw the diss.

As mentioned, this shady post was shared hours after it was revealed the bar owner sued his ex for allegedly accessing explicit videos of his former mistress Rachel Leviss on his phone without his “authorization or permission.” He also claimed Ariana went on to distribute the videos to “Leviss and third parties.” This comes amid a lawsuit levied against both Tom and Ariana by the Rachel Goes Rogue podcaster, who has accused them of eavesdropping, revenge porn, and invasion of privacy over those same videos.

What a topsy-turvy way to frame her accidentally seeing a sex tape on a FaceTime on her longtime boyfriend’s phone — then recording the evidence of his infidelity. Truly wild. Sandoval had previously defended Ari against the “insane” legal matter, but now he’s clearly giving up on rationality and joining the “insane” side.

While Ariana didn’t address the legal war in her latest post, her attorney Jordan Susman SLAMMED the cover band star in a statement to Us Weekly earlier this week, saying in part:

“Ms. Madix is confident that a jury will see through this latest ploy and dismiss his frivolous claims.”

So, she seems as unbothered as she can be! And clearly, she’s continuing to block Tom out of her life as much as possible!

Serena then cut in to say:

HA! Quinta added:

What made the roast even better? Harrison was IN THE AUDIENCE!! Unfortunately, the cameras did not cut to the football player at any point during the segment, so we didn’t get to see his reaction. But he didn’t wait a long time to give his thoughts on the dig! He clapped back at Serena in a statement to NBC News on Friday, saying:

“I thought Mrs. Williams was a great host and applaud her for using her platform to express her beliefs on a variety of topics. Sports are supposed to be the great unifier and at an event dedicated to celebrating a diverse group of men and women who have accomplished great feats. She used it as an opportunity to disinvite those with whom she disagrees with from supporting fellow athletes.”

He used a college graduation to divide and put down women who worked hard for their degrees instead of celebrating their amazing accomplishments. And he has the audacity to slam Serena for calling him out? To say she’s the one causing a divide here? Seriously?!
