Kaia Gerber just posted the ultimate diss at an ex on her Instagram! On Tuesday, the model posted a photo of herself rocking a skinny black bikini while sunbathing on a dock. Normally, that kind of thirst trap alone would be enough to send a signal — but she added way more oomph! In the photo, she was holding a book titled DEAR D**KHEAD — and in the caption she wrote that it was “a book for someone i used to know.” DAMN! But that’s not all! In a second photo, she highlighted a passage from the book, which read:

“At this point, your sheer dumbf**kery commands a certain respect. But it doesn’t change the basics: I don’t give a s**t about you. All my love to your sister, she was a wonderful friend.”

Damn!!!

BTW, the book is a French novel by Virginie Despentes about a “B-list novelist” who insults an actress online and they “strike up a combative correspondence.” And get this! The guy gets “accused of sexual harassment by his former publicist.” The book touches deeply on the patriarchy and addiction, per Macmillan Publishers. It’s the September pick for Kaia and Alyssa Reeder‘s Library Science book club, too, which was also announced on the day this was posted.

But adding in a subtweet of “someone” she used to know is… another level! Obviously with the sexual politics the book is playing in, we have to think she’s blasting a guy she dated.

In recent years, Kaia’s been linked to Jacob Elordi and, briefly, Pete Davidson. She’s currently dating Austin Butler — at least, if they’re still good. Who is this book message for? Well, they all have sisters, so that won’t help narrow down the mystery man! Who do Y’ALL think she could be calling out?? Is she referencing a former beau — or did the Elvis star just do something to piss her off?!

They’ve been linked since 2021 and were last spotted holding hands while out and about in NYC almost two weeks ago. So far as we know, everything’s been going well in the romance… but maybe s**t just hit the fan and she’s subtly hinting at it?? We hope not!! Also with the “used to know” thing we’re thinking ancient history. Then again… it is a pretty fresh-feeling attack!

When thinking of Euphoria, one wouldn’t typically associate its viewing audience with a Christian congregation. But what about if one of the show’s leads was a pastor’s daughter? Well, that’s Hunter’s exact predicament! While on the Call Her Daddy on Wednesday, the trans 25-year-old rising star told host Alex Cooper:

“My dad [Mac] is a pastor, and my mom [Katy] is — she’s ordained to be a pastor — she works in the children’s ministry in the church.”

Yikes!

Anyone who’s remotely familiar with Euphoria will know how popular Christian values definitely don’t align whatsoever with the show, which depicts graphic underage sex, self harm, explicit drug use, and more. Hunter dished:

“There’s this whole, like, ‘pastor’s daughter’ trope, you know? And it gets kind of tough because, like, obviously what I do now is very — I mean, when I got my first job, I had to tell my parents that I was doing a TV show and in the first episode I’m having anal sex with a 45-year-old and cutting myself in the arm.”

In the show’s first episode, Hunter’s character Jules, who is supposed to be just 17 years old, has a graphic sex scene with Eric Dane’s character Cal — father of Jacob Elordi’s character Nate. We’d remind y’all the Grey’s Anatomy alum was nearly 50 years old when the scene was filmed! Later, Hunter’s character goes to a house party where she’s harassed by Nate, leading her to cut herself.

We bet that was quite the difficult pill Hunter’s parents to swallow! And even worse, for the whole congregation! She explained:

“They have to tell their congregation that their kid’s going to be on TV, and that their congregation who are just little old nice white Christian people from the South are going to watch this TV show and see me getting butt f**ked.”

We’re sure a lot of prayer took place after that! A different kind of holy…

The HBO star revealed she feels bad to this day “because that’s something that they still have to deal with.” But it’s not going to get in the way of her career! Hunter has a brief role in Emma Stone‘s new movie Kinds of Kindness, which spoiler alert, is pretty stripped down. She playfully revealed, “I got my titties out,” which she has “no personal problems with.” She noted:

“But it is something where I’m like some people just aren’t going to get it, and, you know, that’s a whole other thing.”

The Euphoria star is the subject of a police investigation after allegedly assaulting KIIS FM’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show producer Joshua Fox over the weekend. The radio star described the situation on Monday morning’s installment of the Australian show, sharing that he bumped into the 26-year-old at the Clovelly Hotel in Sydney on Saturday. He said he jokingly asked Jacob for some bathwater to give host Jackie O — in reference to the already famous bathwater scene from his 2023 movie Saltburn, in which he starred alongside Barry Keoghan. If you know, you know. But Jacob didn’t seem to think it was funny.

Joshua says the Priscilla star got in his face and demanded he “delete the footage.” Ah, he was filming it to get his reaction to the request? He recalled:

“I’m backed against this wall. He’s right in my face, and his two boys are now on either side of me.  It’s like a switch went off, and he’s becoming quite aggressive, and I’m feeling intimidated.”

Scary! He claims he did delete the footage, but Jacob then demanded to see his recently deleted album confirm that the clip was full wiped… But that’s when Joshua felt the need to change his tune for his own safety:

“The way they’re surrounding me, I’m thinking something’s going to happen here. Someone’s going to jump me or something. So I say no, I’m not deleting that. I refuse to because I feel uncomfortable right now, and this is the only evidence. And then Jacob kind of just flips, and he kind of pushes me against the wall, and his hands are on my throat.”

WHOA. Remember, Jacob is 6’5″ and fit — so we can’t even imagine how intimidating that must have been! And probably only a little super hot. (Sorry…)

In all seriousness, this seems to be a big deal for the Aussie actor! Following the news, the New South Wales Police Force confirmed to multiple outlets that they’ve launched an investigation:

“Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident is continuing.”

Jacob has not addressed the matter, but Joshua posted on his Instagram Story that he’d not be “discussing or commenting on the Jacob Elordi incident away from what I said on air this morning”:

According to them, Timmy thought Kim Kardashian is Kylie’s mom! Ha! They also deciphered a paparazzi vid of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce before Reneé joined the pair to speculate on what was said during Gwyneth Paltrow’s 2023 lawsuit! Watch (below):

Jacob later introduced Reneé for a fabulous performance of her hit song Snow Angel, but the REAL surprise came when Rachel McAdams — yes, the original mean girl Regina George — introduced her for her second performance!

ICYMI, the Priscilla star started some major discussion after he told GQ late last month he didn’t like making the Netflix series of films. And no, this wasn’t one of those, “the movie is great, but it was so cold on location” type stories. He went pretty hard against his fans who obviously fell in love with him for the first time IN those movies! He said:

“I didn’t want to make those movies before I made those movies. Those movies are ridiculous. They’re not universal. They’re an escape.”

Some people enjoy an escape, Jacob! Even though he went on to question how his statements would sound “pretentious” to anyone, there’s no denying his comments were a little uncalled for. We mean, what’s wrong with a lighthearted junk food cinema sometimes? No one ever claimed they’d be winning Oscars! Besides, he was the one that agreed to do the movies — whether he saw them as a part of the Hollywood ladder or not.

Now his leading lady is speaking out!

When asked about what she thought of his comments at the Balenciaga show in El Lay on Sunday, Joey told Variety:

“I think it’s unfortunate anyone would feel that way. I had a great time making those movies no matter what anyone says.”

Yeah, Jacob! You’re talking about a lot of time spent acting with — and kissing — Joey King! Never thought about her feelings, huh?

While The Kissing Booth and its sequels might not be everyone’s cup of tea, they’re definitely SOMEONE’S — they made three of them ffs! No point in tearing anyone down for it, especially when you’re the one who helped make the movies the hits they were!

Jacob Elordi is the latest celeb to hit a new level of stardom — and immediately burn the bridges leading back to the fans who got him there.

The Euphoria star has slowly been carving out a place for himself in Hollywood, usually playing a sexy but sketchy bad boy type character, but in higher and higher profile projects. The most recent? The acclaimed Priscilla, Sofia Coppola‘s film adaptation of Priscilla Presley‘s memoir about her complicated relationship with Elvis. The role of the King was naturally a coveted one once again, having just scored Austin Butler an Oscar nomination last year. Clearly Jacob reckons this will be his springboard to more serious projects — because we can’t remember the last time we saw someone quicker to badmouth their earlier work!

The Aussie actor has implied before that he maybe cared more than those around him about making the movies more “real” — but he’s never come out swinging against The Kissing Booth franchise like he does in this GQ interview!

In the mag’s Men of the Year issue, he blasts the teen rom com films, based on Beth Reekles‘ 2012 novel, saying:

“I didn’t want to make those movies before I made those movies. Those movies are ridiculous. They’re not universal. They’re an escape.”

They sure were an escape. For a lot of young women! We can’t help but wonder how those girls, who are growing with him as an audience, will feel about him being so dismissive of their guilty pleasure series!

For those who don’t know, the Kissing Booth movies are your classic high school drama — girl falls for her BFF’s hot older brother but doesn’t want to ruin her friendship — told in a story that revolves around the antiquated idea of a kissing booth. That isn’t just a pre-COVID idea, it’s like a pre-sexual revolution idea! LOLz!

Even relative to other YA rom coms on Netflix, the Kissing Booth series got particularly scathing reviews from critics. So we get why Mr. Soon-To-Be-Seen-In-Emerald-Fennell’s-Saltburn would want to distance himself.

But the series was also his big break, the first noteworthy Hollywood project he was cast in, allowing him to move to Los Angeles from Down Under in the first place. It’s kind of a bad look to crap on them now. Right? Jacob doesn’t think so. He defended dragging his past projects against critics who’ve called him “pretentious” for doing so, saying:

“How is caring about your output pretentious? But not caring, and knowingly feeding people s**t, knowing that you’re making money off of people’s time, which is literally the most valuable thing that they have. How is that the cool thing?”

It’s an intriguing thought. If you really think something is soulless and without merit, we guess it’s fair to say so. Though… you did that movie, man. And it wasn’t that long ago. You could have held out for something you believed in a bit more if you were such a devoted artist. Right?

Well, he’s done with being a corporate Hollywood sellout now. He declares in the magazine:

“My ‘one for them,’ I’ve done it.”

He says that “one for you, one for them” mentality is “a trap” because “it can become 15 for them, none for you”:

“You have no original ideas and you’re dead inside. So it’s a fine dance.”

A “fine dance” is not what we’d say the 26-year-old is doing right now. A fine dance would be recognizing that even the most junk food of movies are someone’s jam, maybe someone’s guilty pleasure, maybe their childhood fave? And try not to diminish those people’s feelings even if you prefer what you’re working on now?

A fine dance would be thinking about the fact that filmmakers thinking of casting him might now wonder if he’ll turn around and trash-talk their project if it gets bad reviews.

Hot on the heels of the frenetic Elvis comes another movie about Elvis Presley — only this one is from a very specific perspective. Sofia Coppola‘s Priscilla promises to tell the story from the perspective of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s (very) young bride, played by Cailee Spaeny (Mare of Easttown). The role of Elvis will be played this time by Jacob Elordi (Euphoria).

After the teaser for the A24 flick dropped this week, some officials from the Elvis Estate were enraged. They told TMZ the movie was made without their knowledge or consent — and they think it’s just a cash grab!

We expected maybe they’d be upset about the content. Cailee Spaeny is a very young-looking actress, so it looks like they may actually be addressing head-on the controversial fact Priscilla started dating Elvis when she was just 14?

It seems, however, they’re more concerned with the aesthetics, as one official who saw the film told the outlet they thought it was “terrible”:

“It feels like a college movie. The set designs are just horrific, it’s not what Graceland looks like.”

What does Priscilla herself think? Besides being her story, it’s based on her own 1985 memoir, Elvis and Me — so she must be on board, right? Yup! She told TMZ:

“I am very excited to see the interpretation of my book by the masterful Sofia Coppola. She has such an extraordinary perspective and I have always been such an admirer of her work. I’m certain this movie will take everyone on an emotional journey.”

The couple had been enjoying each other’s company in recent months, but according to a new report published by Us Weekly over the weekend, they have opted to split up and go their own separate ways.

According to the mag, Lori Loughlin‘s famous daughter and the film star “enjoyed spending time together” while they were an item. However, it’s all over now, as the 22-year-old YouTube personality is “single and having fun.” The outlet reports info from a source saying Olivia is “living it up” with her friends now that she’s on her own again. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Kissing Booth star is said to be “completely focused” on growing his career now that he’s not prioritizing a relationship at this point in life.

The insider makes it sound like neither Olivia nor Jacob were particularly thrown by the end of the relationship. In fact, as the source explains, it seems as though both parties are keeping it very cool with each other. They “hung out earlier this summer,” and yet they are “not dating” right now, per the report.

The source added:

“He’s not looking for a serious relationship at the moment.”

Sad to see them go from their first spotted public outings in December of last year to this. Oh, well!

The 25-year-old may be one of the hottest actors right now — in every sense of the word — but even after making it big on Netflix’s The Kissing Booth, he was struggling to make ends meet at the start of Euphoria!

In a new interview with GQ out on Monday, the Australian revealed he was essentially broke and living in his car as he began work on the HBO drama!

Jacob’s first breakout role was starring as Noah Flynn in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth, which was released in 2018 and quickly became one of the streamer’s “most watched movies in the world” at the time, according to co-CEO Ted Sarandos. So, you’d think the leading man in a movie like that would have been set up for success, right? Wrong!

After the movie wrapped in 2017, Jacob made the big move from Brisbane, Australia to LA in hopes of booking more roles — but the only problem was nobody knew who he was at that point! His Netflix success hadn’t come yet, and so he was having a tough time landing more roles. He crashed on a friend’s couch in the San Fernando Valley for a couple of weeks, according to the outlet. But when a sofa wasn’t available, he also spent many evenings in his 2004 Mitsubishi on Mulholland Drive.

Things got so brutal he decided to take some time away from the city. Luckily, he auditioned for the gritty teen drama right before heading home, he recalled of his tough situation:

“I wasn’t booking jobs. I think I had — I don’t know, $400 or $800 left in my bank account — and Euphoria was my last audition before I went home for a little while to make some money and recuperate.”

Thankfully, he soon landed the role of Nate Jacobs. So things were looking up! Still, he wasn’t done living in his car! No one knew the show would be the cultural phenomenon it’s become. So during filming of the pilot, he was still crashing in his vehicle, he noted:

“My car was like a hoarder’s, stacked with boxes and coat hangers and things.”

When a producer noticed the unusual behavior, they kindly got Jacob a room at the Standard in West Hollywood. So generous!! Jacob acknowledged the generosity, too, saying:

“I got really lucky. Which is just an LA story, you know?”

This isn’t the first time the star has opened up about his rocky rise to fame. In 2019, he sat down with Wonderland to discuss his career, reflecting on how he was “practically homeless” before getting cast in Euphoria. He shared:

“I auditioned — this was at a point where the movies that I’d made hadn’t come out. I had no money, I didn’t have anything, I was practically homeless in LA — and I went to the casting and I forgot my lines.”

Surprisingly, he ended up getting a call back the same day even despite the blunder, he continued:

“I had no name, I had no backing, you could not find any video of me acting anywhere. I was just a child, and they cast me. I was quite lucky.”

Wow! It was meant to be we guess!

Later in his revealing chat with GQ, he opened up about his childhood bullies — which whether they knew it or not, inspired him to lean into acting! Jacob recalled being cast as Oberon, King of the Fairies, in a production of William Shakespeare‘s A Midsummer Night’s Dream as a 12-year-old. He was thrilled to be embodying the gender-bending character, but those around him weren’t into it. What should have been an exciting start to his career was actually a challenging time, he expressed:

“From the moment I did a play I was called gay at school.”

Rather than shy away from the role, he decided to explore the arts further:

“But I had this abundance of confidence in myself. Because I could do both: I was quite good at sport and I think I was quite good at theater. I felt like I was above it, or it made me feel older. It made me feel wiser.”

He added:

“When they said I was gay, I remember leaning into the makeup. I was like, if I’m going to be the King of the Fairies, I’m going to be the f**king hottest King of the Fairies you’ve ever seen.”

He suddenly had the freedom to explore himself and his character, he shared:

“I started welcoming those kinds of characters. I started welcoming the femininity. I started speaking with my hands. I started really playing the thespian.”

Love that confident reaction! And while his haters might have thought it wasn’t cool to be doing the play, he saw the benefits of his hobby, teasing:

“I never was worried that my peers would think that I was less than a man. And also, there’s the classic thing of I was doing plays with girl schools. I’m spending my weekends with the most beautiful women from the school next-door, reading the most romantic words ever written.”

The homophobic bullying inspired him to prove his peers wrong, which is probably why he was so determined to make it big in Hollywood despite having little to his name at first! On his decision to work toward a career in acting rather than something deemed more masculine, he told the outlet:

“I enjoyed playing the actor. I stepped away from beer culture and from sport culture, and I was like, well, if you think this is gay, I’m going to be who I am when I was your friend, which is this hetero guy, but I’m going to play the arts.”

It became a sort of personal mission of his to prove others wrong, he concluded:

“I’m going to show you that’s bulls**t. I could never understand, how could you label anything, ever? How could you label sport as masculine? How does your sexuality inform your prowess as an athlete, or your prowess as a performer?”

How interesting that his leading role these days deals with such similar complex issues!! Seems like he really appreciates all his success after going through these financial and personal ordeals earlier in life. Reactions, Perezcious readers?!
