The Bodak Yellow rapper has a harsh message for fans who think she’s trying to alter the pigment of her skin: “STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR A**HOLE!” Yes, it’s vintage Cardi doing Cardi things! LOLz!!!

So, on Tuesday, the soon-to-be momma of three shared a photo on X (Twitter) of her friend cradling her exposed pregnant belly. Immediately, fans thought looked a lot lighter in tone than usual. One user begged the question:

But she did acknowledge that her skin is a bit more “pale” in complexion than normal… But there’s a very good reason:

Last week, the WAP rapper shocked fans by announcing she’s pregnant with baby #3 — just hours after it was revealed she had filed for divorce from husband Offset. And amid all the chatter, she nearly suffered a miscarriage.

The 31-year-old spoke to fans during a Spaces conversation on X (Twitter) earlier this week and opened up about a scary “freak accident” that left her briefly “paralyzed” and nearly made her miscarry. WHOA!

She told listeners:

“I had a f***ing freak accident. I don’t know how something, well, it wasn’t little. It actually hurt. It doesn’t really happen often, but it became something that is so big to the point I was literally paralyzed. But yeah. And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come. But it didn’t.”

That’s TERRIFYING!

While she didn’t specify the exact nature of the “freak accident,” she did talk about how painful it’s been:

“Yesterday I was feeling good. I came home, but I came home high as a kite. Today, I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying. Like, I’m dying. I swear to God, if I don’t feel good in four hours I’m going to the hospital and I don’t give a f**k. I’mma exaggerate this s**t so I can get more morphine. Morphine me down! I don’t give a damn. Oh my God.”

As Perezcious readers know, it has been a wild week for the 31-year-old rapper. Not only did she file to end her six-year marriage to the Migos alum again amid cheating rumors, but she also announced she is pregnant with her third child! Who is the baby daddy? According to her divorce docs, Offset is the father! Although she asked for primary custody of all their kiddos, she still wants child support from him! As for what caused the split? Cardi only gave the typical irreconcilable difference as the reason for the divorce in the filing. However, a source came forward to People on Friday to offer insight into what happened between her and Offset. They claimed that “filing for divorce again wasn’t an easy decision” for the Bodak Yellow artist:

“She has two kids already, is pregnant and is also a working mom. She’d love to have a great marriage too, but since it’s more of a distraction than support, she needs to end it.”

“A distraction”? Jeez! Furthermore, the insider shared that people close to Cardi “support” her decision to divorce Offset, adding:

“It’s been a long time coming. It’s not just one issue. She’s matured a lot. She knows exactly what she wants her life to look like. She’s super focused on her kids and work.”

But one problem they had in particular? The insider went on to say Offset didn’t “support” her like she wanted throughout their marriage:

“As a mom, she expects a partner that contributes fully and that puts the family first. This just wasn’t happening. In general, he just doesn’t support her like a husband should. She needs good vibes and positive energy only in her life.”

That is a shame to hear — if it was true! According to Cardi herself, the claim couldn’t be further from the truth! After Instagram account The Jasmine Brand reported on the source’s claims, she fired back in the comments section on Saturday, writing:

“Ok this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids …Never in my career no matter what I went through I had friends or family go to the media sooo I don’t know who is this damn source going to people magazine..Even wit my filling I’m not askin for child support my claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one”

As Perezcious readers know, the rapper announced she’s pregnant with her third child just hours after filing for divorce from her husband amid cheating allegations! Sources insisted the pregnancy had nothing to do with the breakup. But until now we weren’t sure Offset was the daddy either! Now, thanks to divorce docs obtained by TMZ on Friday, it’s been confirmed that the Migos alum is the father of the new baby. They also share kids Kulture and Wave, so he’ll be the father of all her kids.

Per the court papers, Cardi not only explains that the pair are expecting another child together, but she wants the Bad and Boujee artist to cough up child support — even though she’s seeking primary custody of all the kids!

As for why they are breaking up, she cited the classic irreconcilable differences as the cause of the divorce, insisting there’s no hope of them fixing things. (She’s walked back on a divorce in the past, but her friends are hoping she’ll stick to it this time, by the way.)

Lastly, the Bodak Yellow vocalist wants all the personal property acquired during their marriage to be split up equitably. There’s no mention of a prenup either, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have one. If they don’t have any kind of agreement in place, this could turn into a real battle. Fortunately, sources have claimed the separation was “amicable,” so we hope that means this legal battle won’t be too complicated — especially since they’re doing this all while expanding the family!

This week was a busy one for the rapper as she not only filed for divorce from the Migos alum but also revealed she’s pregnant with her third child. The divorce bombshell came amid cheating allegations, but a rep for the WAP artist told People on Thursday that her decision was “not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming.”

Fans will remember she actually first filed for a split back in 2020, but the pair were able to work things out. This time, though? Well, her friends are hoping they DON’T make amends — which says a lot!

A pal of the Bodak Yellow vocalist told the outlet that a divorce is “something that they had been discussing and talking about for a while.” They expressed:

“It wasn’t like, ‘Oh, she woke up one day, some incident happened, and this was it.’ She’s been very calm about everything, and she’s focused on her kids. She is excited about this new baby, and she’s recording, so everything with her is actually pretty good.”

The couple had reportedly been having issues “at least a year or so,” and so far, the decision seems “amicable” and “her friends just want her to be happy.” They added:

“We’ve seen them break up, get back together, break up, get back together, and it’s like we just want her to stick to her decision and just enjoy her f**king life. You’re so successful. You’ve come so far in your career, just enjoy your life.”

It’s likely fans will get to hear Cardi’s thoughts on all this sooner than expected since she’s been hard at work on her new album, which the source said is “coming at some point this year,” noting the musician has “been in the studio every night.” The insider dished:

“She’s finishing up recording right now. There’s no exact date, but this situation is not changing anything with music.”

Cardi hinted as much on Instagram when opening up about the bun in the oven, saying that her children have “reminded [her] that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion” and have “shown [her] why it’s worth it to push through.” Amazing!

Now, if you haven’t been keeping up, the cheating rumors were all about Offset allegedly hooking up with a woman from his past. And they’re far from the first infidelity allegations he’s faced since being with Cardi! Interestingly, he doesn’t exactly seem to be denying that part of the headlines.

He reacted to the divorce in a truly odd way — by taking to IG to “like” a post about how he was “slapped with divorce papers amid being accused of cheating.” Kinda a strange thing for him to like, but maybe this was his (not-so) subtle way of confirming it all? Or maybe he was really reacting to the quote about this being “something she wants to do” — as in, maybe it wasn’t his decision?? Hmm.

Aside from that social media activity, he also posted an IG Story video of himself rapping along to an unreleased song on Thursday, in which he said he is “single” and “this tension is old.” So, that suggests this split is amicable! If the song is about his estranged wife, anyway. That would certainly be nice — but with young kids in the mix, this kind of breakup is bound to get messy. Fingers crossed it doesn’t, though!

On Monday, The US Sun reported that amid everything going on in his romantic life, the MotorSport rapper has been hit with some MASSIVE tax liens! According to the outlet, he was hit with one on April 23 for a whopping $1,575,266!

Holy s**t!!!

A court clerk told the outlet the debt currently remains unpaid, but that Cardi’s name isn’t in any way attached to it. But that’s not all! Just back in June, he was reportedly hit with ANOTHER lien, this one for $32,963. Nowhere near as much as the first, but definitely not chump change, either!

Wowza! Maybe those rumors Cardi shot down about their Atlanta mansion being in foreclosure ain’t as far fetched as she made them seem… Maybe she just wasn’t aware of the financial issues before??
