Pitcher Greg Swindell’s daughter Brenna has been found safe and sound after five days gone! The MLB vet posted to his FB on Tuesday morning:

“She has been found . That’s all for now. Thanks to EVERYONE who got involved. Sarah Swindell and I and our family and extended family thanks you.”

He didn’t get into details about what was going on with her. Now that she’s safe, it’s back to being a private matter. We’re just glad she’s OK!

Greg Swindell is in desperate need of help finding his daughter.

Over the weekend, the retired MLB pitcher took to Facebook with a startling post revealing his daughter Brenna had gone missing in Texas. He wrote:

“PLEASE HELP* Our daughter Brenna Swindell has not been seen or heard from in the Austin area since late Thursday afternoon. Her phone is off and she has not been in contact with family, friends, and most importantly her children.”

Scary! And even more concerning, he suspected in the post that she’s with her “violent” ex-boyfriend Morgan Guidry:

“Her ex-boyfriend in the photo has a warrant and is violent so PLEASE if you have seen or heard from either one of them, let us know.”

Later, he returned with an update revealing that Brenna was indeed spotted with Morgan on Thursday night — they’ve gotten as far as Colorado:

“They were seen together Thursday night and we have managed to get a GPS on the KIA that is now in Colorado. Both phones seem to be there but both are turned off. License Plate VFS7528 White Kia Carnival.”

He added a description of his missing daughter as well:

“She is 5’5″ and probably 120 or so pounds. She has brown shoulder-length hair she likes to wear in a high ponytail. She has a sleeve tattoo with flowers on one arm and a spider web on the other shoulder. She tends to always have a vape with her as well.”

THEN, on Sunday, Greg returned to Facebook with another update, revealing this is more than a family matter now. The Department of Public Safety has been working to pinpoint Brenna’s location:

“Because the GPS isn’t on and no cell phones are on, there is no science exactly where the car is by now. We haven’t heard anything back from DPS but they are on it and the missing persons have been filed. We have had lots of leads and [are] trying to sift through them. Until we can get KIA to activate the GPS tomorrow morning, and also figure out what apartment she is in as she moved on Tuesday and nobody knows the number, and the complex is closed today. So we desperately need to [go] in tomorrow.”

He added:

“We have no idea where in Colorado they are, or if they are even still there. PLEASE keep the tips coming of any sightings or information. Again, her boyfriend is in trouble with law from when he assaulted her last month and we don’t know if she went with him willingly, was talked into running away with him, or what. I still feel she would never abandon her 3 children or just take off without explanation. So until we can prove otherwise, we feel she is in danger. Thank you again, everyone.”

Charles County is grieving after a young life was taken far too soon in a weather-related incident at a Southern Maryland Blue Crabs baseball game in Waldorf. According to a Charles County Government press release, multiple children were playing in a “moon bounce house” at Regency Furniture Stadium on Friday at around 9:00 p.m. when it “became airborne due to a wind gust.” It was “carried approximately 15 to 20 feet up in the air, causing children to fall before it landed on the playing field.”

How completely awful…

According to the release, “Charles County EMS personnel” began treating the children “within minutes of the incident,” but one child in particular “sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported by Maryland State Police (MSP) Trooper 2 to Children’s Hospital.”

Sadly, the 5-year-old, who was from La Plata, was later pronounced dead.

So incredibly heartbreaking.

Another youngster suffered “non-life-threatening injuries” and was also flown to the medical center.

According to NBC Washington, the bounce house was brought to the stadium as entertainment for kids. A witness told the news station it was secured with stakes before going airborne, but an investigation has been launched.

Charles County Government Commissioner President Reuben B. Collins, II, Esq. said in the release:

“We extend our deepest empathy to the children and their families during this difficult time. We thank our EMS team and the Maryland State Police for their swift actions to ensure the children received immediate care.”

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs canceled their game on Saturday and their General Manager Courtney Knichel issued the following statement:

“Our entire organization shares our condolences with the family mourning the loss of a child, and concern for the child who was injured. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all.”

The rendition was so off-key that fans in the stadium didn’t quite know what to make of her performance. Even the players on the field struggled to hold back laughter. At one point, Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm (pictured above, inset) appeared to be fighting back a laugh after Andress stumbled over an out-of-tune line. But don’t take it from us! Over on X (Twitter), fans were not shy in calling out Andress for bungling and anthem so badly, especially after she billed proudly by an MLB on-screen chyron as a “four-time Grammy nominee.” They shared:

If you didn’t know Andress before this, she has indeed been nominated for four Grammys — most notably Best New Artist in 2021, where she lost to Megan Thee Stallion. Her most recent album Good Person was released in 2022, and included a collab single with Sam Hunt called Wishful Drinking that blew up pretty big at the time. But other than that, she has been laying low for the last few years before suddenly announcing days ago that she’s got a single called Colorado 9 coming out next Wednesday.

Well, this young woman was NOT happy about it! After being filmed by ESPN while watching the College World Series game, a girl going by the name Annie posted a TikTok video about how annoying it was to wake up and learn you’re being sexualized by weirdos in the comments. She complained:

“It was a 20-second segment of just us eating out ice cream… licking our ice cream. 20 seconds dedicated to — with commentary — just us eating our ice cream. We all knew! We all knew what direction that video was gonna head in. And lo and behold, the creeps of TikTok got a hold of it because we woke up getting compared to the Hawk Tuah girl. No shade to her, girl do whatever.”

Ah, yes. The Hawk Tuah girl, for those who managed to miss the viral sensation, was one of those man-on-the-street interviews in which women were asked:

“What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?”

This girl responded:

“You gotta give ’em that hawk tuah and spit on that thang!”

And everyone has gone nuts for it. She even got an agent! No joke!

But that was a woman consenting to answering a question about a sex act. This is just a girl trying to enjoy her GD cold treat and getting creeped on relentlessly thanks to ESPN’s weirdly voyeuristic cameras.

Annie continued:

“When I tell you the comment section of that video is absolutely repulsing… To know that there are people who have families in their profiles and their profile photos just smiling away with the kids that they’re raising. Feel bad for them and their dad.”

She actually posted a whole Part 2 video just to share some more of the gross comments. You can watch that one, set to Taylor Swift‘s Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me, HERE.

Anyway, she went on a righteous diatribe about the whole practice and how it hurts girls who are interested in sports, saying:

 “I didn’t want to just come on here and rage, but it is so beyond evident that women are not welcome in the sports world.”

She explained she was annoyed she felt she had to justify why she was there, which was that she and her friend love baseball:

“We just wanted to enjoy a baseball game. And it was 100 degrees so god forbid we eat some ice cream. Then people sit back and wonder, why women don’t feel welcome in these environments. It’s crazy. It’s like we can’t sit and eat our food in peace.”

She said she’d earlier had a hot dog, the traditional baseball stadium treat — and she purposely hid while eating that because of the threat of this happening! Oh, and also the fact she and her friend were there the entire game and weren’t filmed just being fans… not until they were licking ice cream. ESPN knew what they were doing, in other words.

Annie mentioned the tons of comments she’d seen about ESPN doing this “every single sporting event,” and she’s not wrong. And she pointed out how the network gets to keep their hands clean because technically they didn’t say anything sexual:

“Because what’s funnier than a woman licking an ice cream cone or eating a hotdog or something that can be overly sexualized? But ESPN can keep it vague enough and the ambiguity is what protects them. When they just open the door for f**king creeps like this to come in and do whatever they want with it.”

So what’s the solution here? No, not a lawsuit, as some commenters suggested — entering the stadium, you give up any expectation of privacy. But maybe ESPN could give their camera operators different instructions? Annie suggested they “just do better” and “don’t knowingly take videos of women in the crowds” they know that are likely to be “sexualized.” She flipped off ESPN and begged:

“Stop contributing to the issue and stop making sports a place where women don’t feel safe and welcome.”

Tim was just 57 years old when he passed away after battling brain cancer last October. He had a 19-year MLB career and won exactly 200 games and two World Series titles pitching almost entirely for the Boston Red Sox. Then, as he battled the brain cancer that would claim his life last year, his wife Stacy was simultaneously diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Now, Stacy has died as well. According to a statement made by the Wakefield family and shared by the Red Sox on Wednesday, she passed away at the couple’s home in Massachusetts. The family called her loss “unimaginable,” especially in the wake of losing Tim just a few months ago, and noted:

“It is with deep sadness that we share that our beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, and aunt, Stacy, passed away today at her home in Massachusetts. She was surrounded by her family and dear friends, as well as her wonderful caretakers and nurses.”

The statement went on:

“We will remember Stacy as a strong, loving, thoughtful and kind person, who was as down-to-earth as they come. We feel so lucky to have had her in our lives, and we take comfort in the fact that she will be reunited with Tim, the love of her life.”

And it also thanked doctors, nurses, and other caretakers who worked with Stacy through the pancreatic cancer fight:

“We are eternally grateful for your unmatched care and support. And to all of you who have sent well wishes over these last several months, we truly appreciate your kindness. We kindly ask for privacy at this time as we try to process this profound loss.”

The couple, who wed back in 2002, leaves behind two children: son Trevor, born in 2004, and daughter Brianna, born in 2005. This is such a sad situation. Sending love to all involved. R.I.P.

In case you missed it, social media users slammed the 51-year-old actress this week after she shared a link to a GoFundMe page she started on behalf of her husband David Bugliari on X (Twitter) and asked fans to donate for her 12-year-old son Milo’s baseball team’s trip to Cooperstown. The page notes the funds would go toward “travel costs, uniforms, and dues for families.” If any money is left over, the team planned to use it for “pins or novelty items to make our tournaments memorable experiences beyond the field.”

The post quickly received attention online — but not in a good way. People were not happy about a celebrity and her talent agent hubby asking fans to give money instead of forking over the cash for the trip herself. What is worse? It seemed like Alyssa hadn’t contributed to the fundraiser at all, per TMZ. Unless she donated anonymously, her name doesn’t appear anywhere as a donor! Yikes…

Well, the Charmed star caught wind of the backlash. Instead of ignoring the criticism, Alyssa took a moment to defend herself, insisting she had done a lot to fund the baseball team in the past! Taking to X on Friday, she wrote:

“I’m getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son’s baseball team. I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues. The Charmed alum is taking heat online after sharing a link to a GoFundMe page she set up to raise $10,000 for her 12-year-old son Milo‘s baseball trip to Cooperstown. Sharing the link on X (Twitter) on Thursday, the actress explained:

“My son’s baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated.”

On the fundraiser’s page — which she seemingly created using her married name and which will benefit her husband, David Bugliari — the team notes the funds will go directly toward “travel costs, uniforms, and dues for families.” Extra money might also be used for “pins or novelty items to make our tournaments memorable experiences beyond the field.”

Across social media, fans are furious that the Sundays at Tiffany’s alum — whom they’re all presuming to be very well off — is asking strangers for money. And especially when it doesn’t look like she’s pitched in ANY herself! What?! TMZ did some digging and her name reportedly doesn’t appear as a donor (unless she went anonymous, of course). Jeez.

Hitting back at the request for cash, critics argued online:

Speaking of money, plenty of others are pointing out that the actress has an estimated net worth of… $10 MILLION! Damn! On top of that, her hubby’s a talent agent, so he likely has a ton of wealthy connections, too! And yet they’re turning to fans for donations! That said, some are sticking up for the performer, with one person pointing out:

“This is what literally every travel baseball or other kids sports team does, including ones with kids who have rich parents. This is not hard to understand.”

“There is something seriously wrong with people who are yelling at Alyssa Milano for trying to raise money for a little league team. How much do you think Milano gets from Who’s the Boss streaming rights? We just went thru a damn strike about all this.”

It’s a fair point. Net worth isn’t the full picture, and the net worth numbers available online may not be anywhere close to being actually true. But it’s still wild to see a Hollywood A-lister out here asking for this kinda money from fans — especially without acknowledging her privilege or how others have it much worse! So, to that end, we can understand why so many are upset!  Though, FWIW, the team’s been raising money for this trip since last May, so she held out for quite a while before going to the internet for help.

Before she became involved with “NFL Man,” AKA Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios, the 23-year-old social media influencer had been involved with MLB player, or “Baseball Boy,” Tyler Wade. She went public with the 29-year-old athlete in September 2022. However, their romance was short-lived. Alix broke up with Tyler three months later.

Around the time of their breakup, her career on TikTok took off as she gained followers for being open about her struggles with acne, anxiety, and her luxurious life in Miami during her “Get Ready With Me” videos. Naturally, fans became very curious about why Baseball Boy suddenly disappeared from her life! At the time, Alix hopped on a livestream to talk about what happened and gave an eyebrow-raising answer. A very influencer-like reason, some would say! The college student claimed she ended things with Tyler after he refused to post her on his Instagram. Yes, you read that right!

Alix quickly faced backlash for her comments, and now she’s clearing the air, sharing the real story behind their breakup for the first time! On the Hot Mess with Alix Earle podcast Thursday, Alix recalled the drama started at the end of 2022 when she confirmed her breakup with Tyler on TikTok Live. Soon afterward, she “felt all the blood drain from [her] face” and began to see screen recordings of her conversation:

“I just start s**t-talking the relationship. Basically, I’m like ‘Yeah, he wouldn’t post me. He turned evil. It was this whole mess.’ And the moment I got off that livestream, my life had flashed before my eyes, because all I saw was screen recording after screen recording of me on this livestream talking s**t about Baseball Boy. … Everyone was saying, ‘Alix Earle breaks up with her boyfriend because he would not post her on Instagram,’ and I was so embarrassed because that wasn’t even the reason we broke up.”

Well, it wasn’t the main reason at least. Alix claimed Tyler had been “nice” at the beginning of their relationship. However, things changed and “went downhill super, super fast” when she quickly gained a large following on social media. She said the athlete became very “toxic” and unsupportive of her influencer career:

“He was really nice at first. And then we started dating, and at the same time I started to gain a following on social media, and for some reason, that just sent him spiraling. That was just not OK for him. He would literally be so toxic. Everything I did he s**t on. He did not support me at all, especially when it came to social media stuff.”

It’s a big ick and red flag if he “s**t on” her success! Alix did note that his lack of posting her on social media factored into the break up — only because he lied to her about the reason for it:

“We had only been dating for three months, I would not expect anyone to post me on their Instagram at that point. But the problem was that he would lie straight to my face about this reasoning, and that’s what bothered me.”

After everything piled up, she decided they should go their separate ways. When Alix faced backlash for her first explanation for the breakup, she decided not to clarify and share the full story. At the time she was still getting used to her newfound fame and didn’t know how to handle the controversy. So instead of addressing the situation head-on, she recalled she “went into hiding,” began “mentally spiraling,” and saw her doctor about her anxiety. Although Alix regretted how she went about the split back then, after a year of reflection, she no longer feels that way – which is why she’s explaining what happened now:

“Now as I’ve taken a year off from talking about this subject, I’ve realized that there are so many bad, horrible things that have gone down in that relationship that I’m like, ‘You know what, air it out, Alix.’”

And now despite how they started off controversially, she has found a new man who fully supports her social media career – Braxton. Alix added:

“The fact that NFL Man now supports me and lets me edit a video on my phone without screaming at me is pretty nice to see.”

In a new Vogue article following her nuptials with her MLB star partner Cole Tucker, the High School Musical alum broke down how their February engagement turned into a magical ceremony just 10 months later. And it was no easy feat! In the interview, which dropped on Wednesday, the actress explained:

“The planning process was definitely overwhelming. I knew I’d never been to a wedding that I’ve wanted my own wedding to be like, so I had to think out of the box. Finding a venue was the hardest part.”

The 34-year-old didn’t like the idea of a classic beach, barn, or ballroom venue — she wanted something totally different that would speak to her avant-gardé style — and she found just what she was looking for in the Mayan jungles of Mexico.

Guests were trekked out 45-minutes into the jungle for the ceremony, but the Spring Breakers alum knew it was worth every second of the trip. The jungles of Tulum weren’t the only thing she fell in love with upon her first view, though. According to Vanessa, she fell in love with Cole all over again as she walked down the aisle and saw him in his suit standing at the altar. Calling it “the most emotional moment” of her life, she said:

The intimate ceremony was attended by 100 of the pair’s family members and closest friends and celebrations only lasted until 11pm, but the new Mrs. Tucker couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. She described the entire venue as feeling “like a set” while they were surrounded by nature, with “bouquets of flowers hanging from the trees above”.

Cole even took it upon himself to mix a special playlist for their friend who DJ’d the event, and added in an original song for the night called Cole and V. After all the dancing was over, guests ended the night with pizza and grilled cheese for dinner. Sweet!

Looking back on her wedding night, Vanessa said the weekend was “magical” — and that she even took guests’ phones away so they’d live in the moment:

“It was genuinely the most magical weekend of my life. I am so grateful that we got to have a private wedding, and it helped that I took everyone’s phones away … Seeing that and bringing everyone together and celebrating us, it was just so magical. Literally talking about it right now, I’m getting teary-eyed. I couldn’t have dreamt it to be any better. I knew it was going to be magical, but it exceeded my expectations.”
