On Facebook over the weekend, Travis Kelce‘s dad took aim at Elon Musk, saying he’d been banned for life from X (Twitter)! Why?? That part isn’t totally clear. The claim came in a post Saturday in which Ed shared a Newsmax article claiming Houthi arms dealers had been selling weapons on the social media platform. In the post, he said:

“Arms dealers are free to peddle their wares on X, but I’m banned for life and they won’t say why, just a generic ‘Terms Of Service’ violation.”

On Sunday, after media started picking up on the story he’d been banned, he made another post to clarify the arms dealer thing was just to make a point.

The NFL father said he only shared this article because he was annoyed that he got banned when alleged illegal activity was still taking place there:

“Let me try and clear something up here. I’m rarely on Facebook or Instagram. I get Google alerts in my email about articles mentioning the boys and remotely post them to Facebook for friends and family to see. I posted the thing about arms dealers active on X because frankly, I was pissed at Elon’s trolls.”

Ed says he just wanted to “highlight the hypocrisy of these social media turds” by showing how easily they ban regular, harmless people. He went on to say he was rarely on the app at all when he took the alleged ban, so he assumes he “was hacked”:

“I rarely wrote anything on X; I just followed sports reporters. It’s handy during games to hear what those guys have to say, particularly at stadiums where you don’ have commentators the way you do watching on TV. I was active on X/Twitter from September to February, reading others’ posts. Apparently the X Twits believe I posted something contrary to their rules in May or June 2023. Never happened. I’m guessing I was hacked, as the platform isn’t all that secure. My comments when I started this conversation were merely to highlight the hypocrisy of these social media turds.”

Wow! If this really happened, how unfair!

Then again, Musk’s free speech push hasn’t exactly attempted to be “fair” at all. We don’t know anything about Houthi arms dealers, but just try typing the word “cisgender” in response to someone sharing a Nazi talking point or the N-word to see what we mean.

Travis Kelce‘s reunion with Taylor Swift didn’t last long, unfortunately. Early Monday morning, DailyMail.com broke the news the NFL star made a mad dash from the singer’s Rhode Island home after the lovely weekend they spent together. As we previously reported, the pair had a heck of a house party, full of their A-list friends as they celebrated Tay Tay finally finishing out her Eras Tour. With football season rapidly approaching, though, Trav had to take off back towards Kansas City after the little break.

The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end was photographed at the airport around midnight in some casual clothes and a baseball cap in order to keep a low-profile, leaving Taylor back at holiday house with her friends. He’s expected to attend the Kansas City Sports Awards to receive the “Sportsperson of the Year” honor. He had a two hour flight to get back home, leaving plenty of time for him to get prepped for the ceremony.

Man, these two are so busy! We’re glad they’re not letting it keep them from seeing one another whenever they can! But man they are putting some miles on those jets!

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may be in the “easy era” of their relationship, but that doesn’t mean they’re letting that spark die! Between the NFL star training hard with the Kansas City Chiefs for the upcoming season, and the pop star going across the world on her Eras Tour runs, it’s not surprising that they barely have time for each other. And when you don’t have much time in a relationship, you gotta work hard to make it work. But thankfully, that’s exactly what these two are doing!!

According to a source for Life & Style, Trav has been putting forth a big effort to make time for his lady in recent months — just like he pretty much always has! The insider dished on Wednesday:

“They’re on different time zones, but Travis is fitting his schedule around hers by going to bed super early after training camp and filming [his New Heights podcast] … He does go out partying occasionally, but for the most part, he’s being way more chill and looking forward to these date nights with Taylor as the highlights of his week.”

But how do these “date nights” work? Well, via Zoom! The couple are said to have become big fans of the video meeting app:

“She’s up super late at night, and he’s so dead tired when he gets home, that it actually works out. They set up the Zoom and snuggle into bed to talk and catch up on everything that happened in their day. They’ll eat dinner together on the video call and treat it like a date.”

Too precious! And the cuteness only gets cuter, because the insider claimed they’ve even fallen asleep on video call together so that they can “wake up together”:

“They’ll even watch movies together and then fall asleep with it going all night, so they can wake up together. It’s pretty over-the-top and not something he’d ever have agreed to in the past, but they’re so in love that having to be apart is painful. They’re counting down the days until they see each other again, which will be in just a few more weeks.”

So sickeningly sweet. And truly giving off high school vibes! We LOVE it!!

And Travis is getting back into the swing of things in the NFL, as his Kansas City Chiefs are in the middle of their preseason and preparing hard for their regular season home opener that’s coming up on September 5. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t finding moments to be together — even from afar!

A source spoke to ET on Thursday morning and delivered new insight into how the couple is still making time for each other even as they’re thousands of miles apart. As that insider explained it, the duo is never more than a quick phone call away! They said:

“Taylor and Travis always prioritize each other even when they are physically apart. They are still in constant communication texting and FaceTiming each other.”

And the insider added:

“They are very affectionate with each other even when they’re apart.”

Awww!

To do that, Travis is still sending all kinds of lavish (and heartfelt!) gifts to Taylor as she wraps her very long run in Europe. You know, just to let her know that he’s still thinking often about her! The source reported:

“Travis sends Taylor flowers and loves to shower her with surprise gifts and tokens of gratitude.”

We really love to see it! And then, that same source dropped the quote of the year to conclude. Explaining just how strongly Taylor and Travis feel about each other, the insider cooed:

“Their connection is unlike anything that they’ve ever experienced before.”

WOW!

We REALLY love to see it!! At this point, we’re honestly ready for the proposal. Of course, as we reported the other day, it sounds like Travis is gearing up for that, too — so long as he takes care of one major thing before dropping down on one knee!

“I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out and all of a sudden Taylor gets him to do it.”

HA! Sorry, Patrick! Sometimes a little feminine influence is just what a guy needs!

Last week, Ye called out the couple in his new song Lifestyle (Demo) off his album Vultures 2. The track features Lil Wayne, who drops the controversial line:

“I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.”

Taylor Spliff is a strain of weed. He’s using the reference to get at Kanye’s longtime rivalry with Taylor, mentioning her beau’s position on the Kansas City Chiefs. Not the craziest thing he could’ve said, all things considered, but still not great considering their feud.

Obvi Tay and Ye’s issues date back to 2009 when the Power rapper interrupted her acceptance speech at the VMAs. Years later, he called her “that bitch” in his song Famous — something Taylor hit back at hard, insisting she never approved the dig. His then-wife Kim Kardashian released a phone call exposing she was lying about that, turning the public against the songwriter. However, it turned out that tape was edited — and she had been telling the truth. Most recently Tay hit back at Kim with her thinly veiled mean girl diss track thanK you aIMee. Now it seems to be Ye’s turn with this lyric?

Fans are convinced Taylor clapped back by wearing a t-shirt that read, “I Bet You Think About Me” at her Saturday performance of the Eras Tour in Poland last week (after her 2021 song of the same name that is believed to be about the rapper). Now, she’s also getting support from her man’s dad!

On Thursday, Papa Kelce took to his Facebook page to share an article about the shady song lyrics, captioning it:

“mental illness on full display.”

The Yeezy designer’s been open about his bipolar disorder, and he’s seemingly struggled with his mental health over the last few years as evidenced by many public outbursts and erratic behavior, causing his friends to be concerned. No excuse for being a jerk, though!

This is a particularly hard time for Taylor, too, since she just had to cancel three Eras Tour dates after a terrorist attack threat was uncovered in Vienna, Austria. With so much serious stuff going on, it’s nice to see her boyfriend’s family has her back!

On Wednesday, it was announced that Taylor Swift‘s upcoming Eras Tour dates in Vienna, Austria would be canceled after authorities uncovered and stopped a terrorist attack threat in the nick of time. Two teenagers were arrested after it was discovered they’s made plans to kill as many people as possible outside of the Ernst Happel Stadium. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly scary time for Taylor, her team, all the fans who planned to be at those gigs, and yes, her boyfriend — who is stuck across the world at his NFL training camp!

According to Page Six sources, the Kansas City Chiefs star is “very concerned” about his girlfriend and “immediately” contacted the songwriter when he heard the news. That said, because of his football commitments, he doesn’t have plans to head to Europe yet. That doesn’t mean he didn’t want to, though!

The US Sun heard from someone close to Travis’ entourage, who said he was on the phone with the singer as the situation unfolded. They explained:

“Travis contacted Taylor very fast and talked with her for a while to show support and see how she was feeling with that tense situation.”

Along with her safety, his priority was making sure the Anti-Hero vocalist was confronted during the upsetting time. Remember, TayTay once said a terrorist attack was one of her biggest fears when getting on stage, so just think about how triggering and freaky this must’ve been. The source shared:

“You can tell that he was helping her feel better and made her laugh, to make this situation and the day she went through end up on a more fun note. He always wants to make her laugh, and he loves to hear her laugh and feel good. After a day that intense and this scary situation, he was doing everything to make her feel better.”

Aw!

It must’ve been so challenging to be so far away, but we’re sure any support was welcome! Speaking of, insiders added that the tight end always keeps a phone near him in case Taylor needs him, adding:

“It’s not easy to deal with that distance, and he wants to be very supportive and [let her know] that she can count on him.”

They continued:

“He has one of his phones always right next to him when he goes to sleep in case she needs to talk to him, and they did spend some long hours on the phone yesterday as it’s not a common situation to deal with, and he always wants to be Taylor’s rock and best fan and number one supporter whatever happens. He was feeling relieved that the concerts got canceled, as it’s the best decision to be taken in this kind of context.”

Even though the 34-year-old was safe, her beau still wanted to jet across the world to be by her side — and he was ready to! The source noted:

“He even suggested flying to Austria to be there for her if she wanted him to do so, even if it was for a day or two, but Taylor is going to keep working and focus on the next dates, with the London concert, to wrap up the Euro part in the best way.”

Wow, so she really had to tell him not to come! Huh. It’s gotta be so hectic for the whole team right now! Addressing what it was like behind the scenes, the confidant continued:

“That was a bit of a crisis moment because you never know how to deal with that, and having the concerts canceled isn’t common or frequent at all, as this kind of situation with a terrorist threat is very scary and has to be taken seriously to keep everyone safe.”

Despite the situation, Taylor is reportedly working to make sure the rest of the European leg of the tour goes smoothly. She’ll end with five London shows next week, they dished:

“The news has been kind of a shock for the whole team, as everyone was looking forward to those concerts in Austria as they are in the last part of the Eras Tour in Europe.”

The source went on:

“There was a huge excitement to play in such a historical city, but also a big disappointment to have to cancel those shows. The terrorist threat made the team tense in a way that it’s not something easy to deal with, as everyone wants to be safe and just enjoy the tour and work in the best environment possible.”

Safety always comes first! But still, having to cancel the shows is surely a disappointment, especially for Taylor who so rarely does so! The insider pointed out:

“The tour in general and especially in Europe has been going fantastic, and there is a huge disappointment that the concerts are canceled, but everyone is very understanding of the situation and grateful that the Austrian police and the government took the best decision for the security and safety of each and all of us, from the fans to Taylor, to the crews and the team.”

They concluded:

“We are going to keep working for the next shows coming in London after the stop in Austria, but it wasn’t an easy day, that is for sure. The goal is to wrap up the Euro part of the tour in the best way.”

Such a hard time for them all! We’re sure Taylor and Travis’ next reunion is going to be even more emotional than usual after this terrifying threat!
