On the evening she filed to end their five-year marriage, the 45-year-old reality star was seen with his close friend and The Valley co-star Jesse Lally, as well as the real estate agent’s new girlfriend, Lacy Nicole. The trio had dinner on Tuesday at Craig’s in West Hollywood. Unlike his estranged wife when she went out with her pal, Jax had no smile on his face as he left the establishment! And that’s most likely because, as Jesse put it in a video obtained by The US Sun, the Vanderpump Rules alum “is going through it right now.”

Well, if Jax listened to and didn’t berate Brittany so much — or do whatever else “transpired” these past few months — perhaps he wouldn’t be “going through it right now.” We mean, she made it very clear what needed to happen if he wanted her back. Obviously, Jax is “leaning on” his pals during this difficult time. An insider told The US Sun on Wednesday that he and Jesse have even become closer than ever as they both are dealing with divorces from their longtime partners. Remember, Jesse and his wife Michelle Saniei broke up earlier this year, just days before the first season of The Valley premiered. So if anyone understands what Jax is experiencing right now is him! The source said:

“He is close with Jesse Lally right now and they are leaning on each other amid divorces. Jesse invited him out on Tuesday evening to Craig’s to support him after the news. Jax arrived about 7 pm and left two hours later. He got in an SUV and then drove down and got Jesse and his new girlfriend, who also jumped in before they headed home.”

It sounds like they had an early night!

“His friends don’t want to leave him alone at the moment, and are rallying around him, but they also have children and responsibilities and I hear he went home alone on Tuesday night.”

As for how Jax is doing after the filing, though? While he “respects” Brittany’s decision to divorce him, he is also “gutted” by how things turned out — which is why his pals, including Jesse, “don’t want to leave him alone” right now. The insider explained:

“Jax is understandably gutted it has come to this, but he respects Brittany’s decision, she is still the mother of his child, and they are focused on making Cruz the priority.”

And now, an insider is speaking to People about what went into that decision by the Kentucky native. Speaking carefully about the process, the source began by saying:

“[Divorce is] something Brittany knew she had to do for the best interest of herself and her son … in order to move forward and put a stop to this tumultuous cycle they’ve been living in.”

Whoa. That last part is certainly cryptic. And the comments only got even more cryptic from there! Noting that “a lot has transpired” in recent months, the insider reasoned that Brittany simply couldn’t go on as she had been:

“There’s a lot that has transpired over the past few months that she could not look past. This decision wasn’t made lightly but she feels adamant that it was the right one.”

Yikes…

Meanwhile, that same source says that Jax is “feeling mixed emotions” about the divorce. But Brittany is going headlong into the future, and committed to seeing it through. The insider concluded:

“She knows this is ultimately the right decision but is sad that things ended up the way they have. It’s been an emotional month for him and he’s trying to stay strong for his son.”

And really, Cruz is the most important part here. As long as both parents can stay strong for the little guy and do what needs to be done to give him the love and support he’ll so desperately need, then it’ll all work out in the end. We hope.

Back in April, Brittany spelled out exactly what would push her to divorce the 45-year-old House of Villains alum. She told Us Weekly that to stay together they, for starters, needed to be able “to have a serious conversation” that doesn’t end in a heated fight:

“Every time I try to talk to him, it turns into an argument but I’m obviously not going to do this for very long.”

And she remained to her word… Until the momma saw some change in or effort from Jax, she would not entertain the idea of them getting back together!

Brittany explained things were “in his hands if he’s going to fix some things” in their relationship. But at that point, she was “not seeing enough effort” from him! Brittany continued:

“He needs to go to therapy. He doesn’t need to be staying out at the bar all the time. He needs to respect me more and stop taking me for granted. I was the closest person to him and was kind of like his punching bag. He was always giving me jabs. I can’t deal with that for the rest of my life.”

A person can only take so much before they break, and it sounds like Brittany had enough at this point. But no one can blame her! We mean, this is Jax Taylor. The guy repeatedly lied, cheated, and acted nasty toward Brittany for years! Heck, he even continued drinking and partying with other women after claiming he was “working things out” with his estranged wife — something she wouldn’t have been cool with due to his history. Jax has always been all talk and no action. Girl deserved so much better! Thankfully, she finally realized it.

At the time, Brittany said there was “definitely” a “chance” she and Jax could rekindle their romance. However, the former model needed to put in the work first because Brittany refused to continue with their “toxic situation.” She said:

“But I won’t waste my time and get back into a toxic situation. Now the veil has been lifted and I see how much I was always cleaning up Jax’s messes. I’m thrown in the middle of all these fights and constantly forced to apologize for him in the media and to friends. It’s hard.”

Months later, Brittany has now officially pulled the plug on their marriage. And we bet she did it because Jax barely attempted to save their relationship. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the reality star filed to end her five-year marriage to her estranged husband on Tuesday! She cited the age-old “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup. As fans know, the couple revealed their separation back in February. However, in the court documents, Brittany gave a specific date of separation — January 24, 2024.

When it comes to the custody situation with their 3-year-old son Cruz? The Valley star is seeking primary legal and physical custody, but she is willing to give Jax visitation rights. She also asked the court not to award spousal support to either of them.

As for their assets? Per Page Six, Brittany asked to keep all properties she acquired either by gift or inheritance, as well as before marriage or after the date of separation. The specific nature and debts “have not been ascertained at this time.” The pair’s community assets will be figured out later.

At this time, Jax has not addressed the massive update in their split. Considering Jax left his mental health treatment center this month to film The Valley, though, we bet we’ll get the entire rundown of his real reaction on the show once it airs! Won’t that be something…

According to a new report published by TMZ on Tuesday morning, the reality TV star is planning to check out of in-patient treatment imminently. Sources claimed to that outlet that the Bravo star will be gone from the center by Thursday, and then reappear back at his crib in El Lay for the foreseeable future.

Most notably, the top priority for Jax from here is to spend some quality time with his son Cruz. Now, that doesn’t mean he is going to move right back in with Brittany or anything. The two of them are going to remain physically and romantically apart, with their relationship still very much estranged and their living quarters still in separate spots. Specifically, the plan is for Jax to return to the family home, while his separated wife will remain where she is in a nearby rental residence.

But it’s great to hear that he is going to spend a lot of time with Cruz, at least! Those same insiders told the outlet that Taylor’s motivation is to get re-adjusted to life outside treatment, and get back to his bond with his son.

Oh, and Jax is also going to get back to his gig on The Valley… sort of. Per that same TMZ report, he will be joining the rest of the show’s cast for the remainder of their season two filming projects in the late summer and early fall. That production period began earlier this summer, so Jax has some catching up to do. And yet he’s going to temper that reunion a bit, with insiders saying that a return to life in front of the camera will be on his timeline, and not an all-in, 24-7 thing.

Regardless, Jax WILL be addressing his treatment stay and the full spate of reasons for going in the first place on this forthcoming second season of The Valley. Viewers can apparently expect a highly emotional second season when it hits Bravo’s airwaves months from now, based on what these insiders are saying. Damn!

Between Jax’s mental health issues leading to the in-patient treatment stay in the first place, and his ongoing marital issues with Brittany, there is definitely a lot there to unpack. Jeremy Madix, who Vanderpump Rules fans will remember for sometimes appearing alongside his famous reality TV sister on the hit Bravo show in the recent past, was picked up by federal agents at Orlando International Airport all the way back in February. Along with an accomplice, who TMZ identified on Saturday as Jonah Ahad, Jeremy had been scheduled to board a flight bound for Frankfurt, Germany on February 16.

That didn’t happen, though, because agents tracking his luggage stopped it before the suitcases could reach the plane, and they checked it for contraband. And what they found was weed. A LOT of weed!!

Per that TMZ report, which cited newly-available court documents never before seen by anyone prior to Saturday morning, Jeremy and Jonah reportedly had more than 100 pounds of pot in their luggage. The marijuana was split out across three different suitcases. Two of those bags allegedly belonged to Madix, and they had within them 64 wrapped bags of pot that totaled 76 pounds.

The third bag is said to have belonged to Ahad, and contained 31 wrapped packages of weed that tallied up to 37 pounds. Between the two of them, that is a ton of ganja! Exactly 101 pounds of it!

Damn!!

As to be expected, the duo never even got past the security checkpoint at the airport before the weed was discovered. Officials from Customs and Border Protection searched and then seized the pair’s suitcases. That’s some serious alleged smuggling that the CBP folks thwarted! A hundred-plus pounds is no joke.

But interestingly, neither man was arrested on the spot when the weed was recovered. Huh?!?! TMZ noted in their Saturday morning report that they are trying to figure out why there were no arrests made, with inquiries sent to the Orlando Police Department, but a reason for not making the arrests right then and there hasn’t yet been forthcoming.

Still, both men were eventually nabbed and booked into jail. Ahad was busted back in May, and charged with felony trafficking in cannabis. And Ariana’s brother was taken into custody last Tuesday on the same charge. Hence, that’s why this report is only coming out now, as his applicable court documents were only first filed days ago, even though the alleged act occurred six months ago. Crazy!

Last we reported earlier this year, Ariana hadn’t spoken to Jeremy in months, and the duo was more or less estranged at that time. So, who knows if this was even on her radar before the arrest. Taking to Instagram Stories on Friday, the 35-year-old reality star accused him of lying about plans to donate the money he asked from fans on Cameo to cancer research! Whoa! She posted a video of Jax on her account, in which he said:

“I’m now on Cameo, so hit me up. I’d love to help you guys out. Also, you’re helping me out because I’ll be donating my money to cancer research. Actually, esophageal cancer, because obviously that is near and dear to my heart, so hit me up. I’d love to shoot you a message.”

As you may recall, the Vanderpump Rules alum’s father, Ronald Cauchi, sadly died in December 2017 after losing his battle with esophageal cancer. It’s amazing Jax wants to generously donate the money earned from the platform to cancer research – if that was his real intention. Because, according to Brittany, it isn’t! She wrote over the clip of her ex:

“Just realized Jax has this on his cameo and it’s disgusting because he hasn’t donated a dime. FYI @cameo.”

Did the momma really just accuse Jax of trying to scam people? If this is true, add it to the looong list of icky things Jax Taylor has done. The shocking post didn’t stay up for too long. According to Page Six, she deleted it minutes later. However, Brittany gave just enough time for folks to get screenshots of her message – and even their The Valley co-star Kristen Doute’s re-post! A source told Page Six on Saturday that the Cameo video was made “three years ago,” and it has been “shown on TV and social media” that Jax has “attended multiple charities, donating not only his money but his time.” Hmm. Yet, even if the clip is old, this doesn’t answer if the 45-year-old television personality donated his Cameo earnings as he promised. As we mentioned, Brittany claimed he didn’t.
