This was already a horrifying story — and after this influencer brought the receipts, it only got more scary!

Eixchel Berroteran, AKA Eixchelb on TikTok, shocked her fans when she posted a carousel of graphic photos to her Instagram. The pics, which featured some serious injuries and bloodshed, were only the tip of the iceberg for this story. In the caption, the social media star alleged that her stepfather tried to kill her. Whoa!

While recalling the event she says took place just last Thursday, she explained (in her native Spanish):

“On the night of August 21, 2024 I was reborn, my ex stepdad (who didn’t live in my house) walked in with a gun saying he was going to kill me and said it was according to him, because ‘I didn’t want him and my mom to be together.'”

The viral star, who has amassed over 4.3 million followers TikTok, went on to detail just what she says happened. She wrote:

“It was all like this, I wait for my mom at the door of the apartment and he entered my house without permission and saying he was going to kill me, He pulled out a gun pointing at my mom and saying he was going to kill me. He pushed her in the living room and entered my room. He pointed the gun at me, I jumped to the floor asking him to please do nothing, intending to get under the bed, but it was very low and I decided to crawl towards him asking him to stop screaming and at that moment I heard the shot left me stunned; but my mom who was already behind him forcing him so the shot didn’t reach me.”

OMG! So, according to her, he just barged in and started attacking?! So scary…

Eixchel continued to say the bullet missed her by mere centimeters — and credited divine intervention for keeping her safe:

“That night… the worst of my entire Life, God gave me another chance. When missing the shot by CENTIMETERS… I was stunned, in shock and with fear to think that those would be my last moments of life; at that moment God gave me the strength to stand and defend myself with my mom.”

She added that her stepfather “bit” her mother as they struggled. In a heroic turn of events, the influencer alleged she and her mom fought back and took control of the situation:

“The love we have for each other gave us the strength to control the situation, we arrived by force into the kitchen where we fell, my mom and I stayed on top of it, trying to defend ourselves as we could. He bit my mom and pulled my hair with a lot of force, we both cried for help but until that moment no one listened, he kept insisting on shooting me and between the two we grabbed above him his hand where he held the gun and always wanted to point at me, one person touched the door but he made us tell him to leave.”

He’s even being accused of intimidation, allegedly telling the women not to go to police or else their would be consequences:

“He threatened us saying that if we called the police it would all be over, he also said that he had contacts in the police and that if we reported… he had bully friends and this wasn’t going to stay like this.”

SO disturbing. Just truly awful.

Eixchel went on to say she doesn’t know how she’ll ever “overcome this nightmare” because her trauma is much more than “physical injuries”:

“God interceded for us that night, I can only say thank you for another chance. In my mind, it was just that if it was going to kill me… my mom was going to have that trauma forever and if I killed my mom I was never going to be able to handle it. Today I can tell you that trauma hurts more than physical injuries, and that I really don’t know how I will ever overcome this nightmare. No one deserves to live what me and my mom lived and don’t ever think this is something that can happen to you.. until it’s happening. I ask you to pray a lot for us and that justice is served. On my part I promise you that when I manage to heal even just a little.. i will become the voice of all the people who have been victims of abuse, abuse and in this case.. almost murdered.”

Heartbreaking, but how noble to dedicate herself into becoming a voice for victims after this experience. That takes so much strength.

Eixchel wrapped up her post by saying she can’t give much more info because it is an open investigation, but she hopes God can give her “the strength to move on”:

“At this time, it’s a Criminal Investigation case so I won’t be able to give specific details. There are no words to describe the terror, pain, trauma, anxiety and panic attacks this has caused us.. Only God knows why I’m still here and I ask him to give me the strength to move on and that at some point he can heal my heart.”

Gut-wrenching. Those poor, poor women.

Eixchel’s stepfather was arrested and charged with attempted murder, two counts of burglary with assault or battery, false imprisonment with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a firearm, attempted evidence tampering, and felony battery. The probable cause arrest affidavit, as obtained by Law&Crime, reveals the mother’s side of the story which matches Eixchel’s. It also included the disturbing details of how Luis bit his wife all over her body while she attempted to fight him off with a wine bottle. The influencer’s photos show one of those awful bite marks.

Per local outlet WPLG, eventually the women were able to get him to calm down and talk, but police said the suspect “kept a hold of [Eixchel] by the hair while sitting on the couch, not allowing her to exit” the place. He’s also alleged to have made the mom and daughter “clean up the scene” where he’d just allegedly battered them. Disgusting.

The ladies said it took an entire day to work up the courage to contact police after Luis allegedly threatened the two of them with hitmen. Luckily for the TikToker and her mother, though, the stepdad is being held in prison without bond.

Just horrifying. We’re so glad Eixchel and her mother survived. May they get the justice they deserve.

The Hero singer announced in a statement to People on Monday that in a “tragic turn of events” both her mother Patricia and her older sister Alison died separately on the same day. The day Mimi provided her statement, David Baker, a longtime friend, revealed Alison had been in hospice for three weeks prior to her death. He also said Mariah knew, but didn’t ever reach out. Now, he’s speaking out more about his friend’s “tough life” and estrangement from the My All singer.

Speaking to People on Wednesday about Alison’s passing, David explained:

“We saw it coming, but it’s still a shock. She got ill fairly quickly and a month later, she’s gone.”

Unfortunately, the last time Mariah saw her late sister was either in 1994 or 2002, according to David. Either way, over 20 years.

As we’ve covered in the past, the two had a falling out in ’94 amid Alison’s tough life. She got pregnant with her first child at just 15 years old and because of her lack of work experience, found it difficult to bring home money. So she unfortunately turned to teen prostitution. In 1987, she had her second child, and just one year after that, she tested positive for HIV.

On top of all that, she also struggled with substance abuse. The late 63-year-old made it known that Mariah had paid for multiple of her rehab stints, but things finally came to a breaking point in 1994. Patricia apparently went to pick up Alison’s son Michael for a weekend visit but ended up taking him in full time and got temporary custody because she felt Alison was an unfit mother.

Years later, Alison returned the favor. She launched a shocking lawsuit against her late mother, claiming she subjected her to sexual assault in satanic rituals when she was just a child. You can read more about that HERE.

As for Mariah, she made it clear in her 2020 memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey that it was “emotionally and physically safer for [her] not to have any contact” with her big sister.

Such heartbreaking stuff. It’s so sad that things had to go that way for the Carey family.

However, just because Alison wasn’t close with her sister and mother doesn’t mean she had no one. David spoke about first meeting his late friend in 2015 after she suffered a traumatic brain injury during a terrifying home invasion, which affected her short-term memory. It was Alison and Mariah’s brother Morgan who reached out in a Facebook support group asking if anyone would be able to go visit and spend some time in the hospital — and David stepped up. He explained:

“I knew when I saw the request that I was the only person anywhere near Albany, New York, so I said, ‘Well, I’m going to go for this.’ They eventually sent me to the hospital and I met Alison.”

And over the past nine years, David said “hardly a day went by” where he and his friend didn’t speak over the phone:

“I saw somebody who needed help and I knew I could do it. She’d tell me that she was so glad I was around. More recently, before she got sick, if I went somewhere for an hour, she’d call and say, ‘When are you coming back?’ And I’d say, ‘Well, I’ll be there in 20 minutes.’ And then she’d call a second time and say, ‘When are you coming back?’ Because short-term memory was affected by the brain injury.”

He even helped find her Coxsackie apartment in New York three years ago, which was ultimately where she passed away. He told the outlet:

“She got her wish. She died in her own home.”

But before that, David shared that her four kids — three sons and one daughter — visited two to three weeks before her death. And her daughter, who apparently lived close, even began visiting daily.

We’re so glad to hear she was surrounded by loved ones in her final days. She lived such a difficult life. May she and Patricia both rest in peace.

In a lengthy Us Weekly cover story on Wednesday, sources opened up about how the Duchess of Sussex has found her new purpose after taking her Prince Charming and going home. Noting that she’s gone through many career changes in her past, a family friend told the outlet:

“You’re established in one world and then you enter another and your narrative is dictated by external forces.”

After leaving the royal family, Meghan and Prince Harry made a splash by doing several media projects and interviews, but it quickly became apparent none of it was panning out the way they had hoped. Their podcast, their Netflix deal, nothing was hitting.

In recent months, however, the Suits alum has clearly been preparing for her next shot. Not only is she teasing the launch of her lifestyle company American Rivera Orchards, but she’s also taking pointers from Hollywood powerhouses like Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow. She joined them and others at the house of broker Amy Griffin for a one-day business summit in July, an insider dished:

“Meghan was there to network. She was very kind and humble and eager to learn.”

Over the summer, she’s also gotten more involved with various charity organizations, like The Parents’ Network, a campaign to protect kids from online harm. She and her hubby also made a trip to Colombia. A second insider reflected:

“Meghan has transitioned from actress to royal to entrepreneur. She’s worn many hats, but she believes age and experience have [prepared her] for a bigger purpose in life. She’s very happy with the role she’s carved out.”

It was important for her to take the time to process everything and come up with a new plan of action after her initial media blitz post-royals, the family friend acknowledged:

“After Spare, [Harry and Meghan] realized, ‘OK, we’re ready to move on. We want to focus on our future. We can have meaning and importance separate from the lives we had previously.’”

They added:

“Meghan doesn’t harbor any negative feelings. She just wants peace, and knows you can’t find peace if you harbor resentments.”

She seemed to address this herself earlier this month in Colombia, saying:

“So much of how I approach things is less about the fight and more about how do we show up in the space and wash things over with love and kindness and generosity.”

Take her feud with Princess Catherine, for example. While she was happy to wish her well amid her cancer diagnosis, Meghan and Harry have not spoken out about other royal matters — and that’s on purpose. The family friend dished:

“Meghan’s team gets asked daily to comment on stuff that has nothing to do with their lives now. They have left it behind.”

She’s also left some of her own family members behind, like controversial father Thomas Markle, the first source said:

“Meghan still has no contact with her dad. She does not plan on having a relationship with him, and he has not met his grandkids. That ship has sailed.”

Instead, she leans on her pals and “has a great group of friends who are all successful in their own ways who she really trusts.” This includes Serena Williams and Ellen DeGeneres plus other local moms she meets up with regularly. The first insider added that she’s “very close” with neighbor and Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd while a second insider said she’s befriended entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima, cofounder of IT Cosmetics.

Things are a bit more difficult for Harry. He “has a small [group] of close friends,” the second source shared, claiming he prefers to keep his inner circle small for “understandable reasons.” While that may be true, we have been hearing his UK friends don’t like his wife and that’s a big reason he’s become more lonely. Not to mention, most live in the UK, and he had to move to California — so that can’t be easy! Regardless, it sounds like he’ll always put his family first, the source went on:

“He’ll always be fond of his home country, but the way he views it, his wife and kids are his priority. If that means making sure they’re safe and happy in Montecito, then he supports that.”

The husband and wife are both very hands-on parents who want their kids Archie and Lilibet to have normal childhoods despite their fame, the family friend continued:

“They take the kids to school, they pick them up, and they are very active and present with them throughout the day.”

Referencing the Duke’s battle for security in the UK, the family friend insisted the children are going to stay out of the spotlight for their safety, noting:

“I think every parent wants to share their kid with the world, but they just can’t. … [Prince] William’s kids, for example, have way more safety, even though they’re recognizable. And the same doesn’t apply to Meghan and Harry’s children. They know the world wants to see [them but] I would expect them to live smaller lives until that gets sorted, if it ever does.”

It sounds like the kids may not even understand their royal heritage yet, as the friend pointed out, “they’ll have those conversations in due time.” Right now, Meg and Harry want the little ones to feel loved for who they are:

“They’re so well-mannered. Archie is sweet and curious and playful, and Lili is vibrant and happy.”

The second source added that the parents are happy just being parents right now. Thankfully they apparently have plenty of time despite working on their Archewell Foundation campaigns and launching their business ventures. But as the kids get older, anything is possible:

“Afterwards who’s to say? But I think the focus is very much on raising their two children.”

And staying on the same page really helps. Meghan and Harry have been leaning on each other for support this whole time, the friend shared:

“They’re so in sync. Throughout their relationship, they’ve stood together no matter what.”

The second insider revealed that they enjoy downtime together and try to keep a positive mindset and are motivated to do their best work always, saying:

“It’s rooted in the bonds they share together.”

As for their new life in California, they do a lot of low-key activities like gardening, hiking, and cooking. The second insider described it as “a California lifestyle.” What, they don’t garden in Merry Old England??

While it was no doubt difficult to walk away from the royal family, they do have a big bonus now. They can work on “projects they are passionate about as opposed to being given projects to do,” making the work “more personal,” the second insider dished. Good point!

Along with The Parents’ Network, Meghan is working on her new initiative, the Welcome Project, which helps empower female refugees from Afghanistan. A third source who has worked with the former actress told the outlet:

“Female advocacy remains a centerpiece of her philanthropic intent.”

She’s also looking forward to launching her lifestyle brand sometime early next year, around the time her new Netflix series is supposed to premiere. The second source expressed:

“[ARO] will likely be very much in line with who Meghan is as a person. She loves hosting events, and she’s very thoughtful about how she treats her guests whenever they come over.”

The third insider said her series “is going to be a take on her and the joy of living,” including “little things she’s learned in terms of being a modern-day hostess.” It’s been rumored Harry may make an appearance. For now, the sources just promised there would be many familiar faces joining in.

So, Meghan has a lot on her plate coming up — but she’s NOT planning to run for office, return to acting, or write a memoir despite rampant rumors, the third confidant maintained. She’s just being Meghan:

“Meghan’s in the middle of her story right now.”

Maybe one day! Right now, a big passion of the 43-year-old’s is simply to give back, the family friend added:

“She knows her life would be extraordinarily different if she did not marry who she married. There is privilege and so much room to do good. She wants to meet the moment and make good on her good fortune.”

The friend noted that it was hard for her to “be herself” in the royal household which is why this change of pace is so refreshing, they shared:

“Most people are not really allowed to be themselves — if you’ve watched The Crown, I think that’s pretty understood.”

That’s why she’s so excited about this moment:

“There’s air and space and room. She can just be who she is.”

It’s certainly an exciting time with so much still to come from Meg! We just hope her business ventures and media projects are more successful this time around! Otherwise, she’s gonna have to come up with a whole new plan!

A New York man brutally murdered all three of his siblings and his niece after a disagreement about what to do with their late mother’s home.

A sibling meeting turned deadly over the weekend after the five of them met up at their late mother’s Syosset home out on New York’s Long Island to discuss what to do with the property after her death earlier this month. According to the Nassau County Police Department, 59-year-old Joseph DeLucia had lived for his entire life with the siblings’ late mother in the home. Everyone else, including sister Joanne Kearns, 69, brother Frank DeLucia, 64, sister Tina Hammond, 64, and niece Victoria Hammond, 30, was seemingly in agreement over selling the place — besides Joseph.

On Sunday, they were set to meet with a realtor to begin that sale process, but that sadly never happened. NCPD Captain Stephen Fitzpatrick said in a press conference:

“They brought Starbucks and they assembled in the den area. The brother (Joseph) stayed behind.”

While they were awaiting the realtor’s arrival, Joseph apparently “decided that day to get a loaded, Mossberg shotgun, 12 gauge, approached them in the rear area of the house, and from the kitchen, fired 12 shots, striking all four of them multiple times.”

Holy s**t…

The police captain revealed:

“The perception of Joseph Jr. was that he was being cut out of the will and was going to be displaced without a place to go.”

And because of said “perception,” Joseph allegedly made the decision to remove his siblings and his niece from the equation… and himself, as well. Fitzpatrick added:

“He then took the weapon, went out to the front lawn, was shouting indiscriminately about what happened. A neighbor heard him doing this, called 911, and that was our 911 caller. He then fired a self-inflicted shot to the chest and killed himself.”

That is just so awful.

Fitzpatrick revealed Joseph had “past mental issues, psychological issues that were reported to us that we have not confirmed.” Apparently, in 2022, cops were called to the residence to conduct a welfare check. But at the time, he wasn’t “displaying any signs that he was dangerous to himself or others.” However, a neighbor reportedly told cops in an “unconfirmed” tip that Joseph “made statements in the past that if you hear gunshots, don’t bother calling 911 because it will be too late.”

WTF…

And get this: according to surviving family members via NBC New York, Joseph was NOT even being left out of the will as he reportedly believed. View more details on the tragic situation (below):

On Monday, Alison Carey‘s longtime friend David Baker told The US Sun Mariah “cut off” contact with her big sister, and that their relationship next to nonexistent ever since:

“Alison was unhappy that her ‘baby sister’ had cut off contact with her. She talked about it frequently. She wondered if Mariah or any of her relatives would come to her funeral. I am told that a memorial service is planned for a future date, but nothing now.”

As we reported on Monday, Mariah told People that her sister and mother Patricia sadly died on the same day “in a tragic turn of events.” She said:

“I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed. I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.”

The 55-year-old didn’t reveal the details of how her mom and sis died. Her mother was 87, so it’s just been assumed natural causes. Alison was quite sick, too, apparently.

According to the outlet, Alison had been dealing with drug addiction, homelessness, and a multitude of health issues over the last nine years, including being HIV positive. Just last year, Alison took to social media to reveal she was “living without teeth” because she didn’t “have the money” for dental work.

She was reportedly in hospice for the final three weeks of her life. David claims Mariah was made aware of Alison’s condition — but never made an effort to reach out:

“No, Mariah has never tried to contact Alison, even after she was told a month ago that Alison was dying. A phone call or, better still, a video call would have meant so much to Alison. But it never came. And now Mariah is ‘heartbroken’ by the loss of her mother and her ‘ex’ sister. That callous rejection added more hurt to Alison’s pain.”

Oof. If true, that’s… that’s rough. But of course we don’t know the most intimate details of their relationship. It’s impossible to judge these situations from the outside.

Obviously David has a different opinion of Alison than Mariah. He remembered his friend fondly while speaking to the outlet:

“Beneath a tough exterior, Alison was a highly intelligent, warm, and sensitive person. I have known her for nine years, and as her friend, and in recent months her care, I will miss her greatly.”

So tragic.

But now, an insider is claiming Joey’s alleged affair was NOT what ruined his and Samatha’s relationship!

“Infidelity isn’t the cause … not by a long shot.”

Inneresting… The source didn’t necessarily deny the infidelity — just the part about it being the reason he and Samantha are splitting up.

The insider added:

“[Joey] had gotten to a point where he had hit his limit with defending his kids, his mom and his family to Samantha.”

There weren’t many other details regarding that claim, specifically, but the Blossom star shares daughters Charleston, 18, and Liberty, 14, with ex-wife Chandie.

As for Samantha seeking sole custody of their daughter Dylan, the source claimed Joey is “torn up.” They explained:

“Joey loves his kids. He is a great dad and his daughters adore him. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for those girls, and that includes Dylan too. He prides himself on being very involved with family and putting family first always. He loves Dylan. He’s torn up that it’s going to be difficult to co-parent Dylan with the demands Samantha has made. Joey is a man of integrity. He is a hard worker. He is a professional.”

A man of integrity… Who’s currently caught up in cheating rumors…

A the end of the day, though, the insider noted the 48-year-old is “relieved the marriage is over because he can breathe … He can be himself. He’s taking the time to make up for all of the lost time that he had with his children.”

So it sounds like his and Samantha’s marriage drove a wedge between his relationship with his oldest daughters. Well, the proximity of his relationship with her and their mom Chandie, alone, would likely be enough to ruffle feathers. But we guess we’ll just have to wait for more specific deets.

Taking to the popular “Am I The A**hole” Reddit group last week, a 15-year-old named Boris explained he has “mild cerebral palsy” and often needs to use a cane or crutches to help him walk. Before his eldest sister Sophia’s wedding, she asked him to use a black cane to match the black-and-white aesthetic of her ceremony. Boris completely understood her request since the one he uses is “covered in stickers.” So, to be on theme, he wrapped it up “in black tape,” which his big sis “was happy with.”

All was well from there, right? Well, not really. Things didn’t go as planned on the day of the nuptials. The teenager said he was “having a very ‘off’ day” as his “legs hurt” and his “balance was way off.” It was so bad he had to use his crutches (“which are blue”) for the ceremony. At the time, Boris “figured it would be fine.” And it should have been! The teen needed the extra support from the crutches that day! His family — especially his own sister — should understand and be cool with it! However, they were the complete opposite of “fine” with it!

When the reception started, he claimed Sophia was “awfully offended that I was using my blue crutches and asked if I could just stay seated and not have the crutches out to not ‘ruin the color scheme.’” What the f**k?!?! Understandably, Boris “was frustrated” with his sibling — but he “did it” anyway. By the time the family got to the pictures, though? He’d had enough of her attitude!

According to Boris, his sister complained to their mom that he was “ruining the pictures” since he was “heavily relying” on the “crutches for balance” by then. When he stood up for himself and “told her to suck it up,” Sophia continued to whine to their mother. In fact, she even begged her to tell him not to be in the “family photos.” OMG! Things escalated fast from there, especially when the mom sided with the sister! (It is the cardinal rule in a wedding to give the bride everything she wants, but MAN some brides make it hard.) Boris continued:

“I was sure that my mum would notice how ridiculous that is but my mum just sided with my sister and told me that I was technically ruining the theme. My mum, Sophia and I all got into an argument, I couldn’t believe my sister was crying about something so stupid. My sisters makeup was ruined and now her pictures had ‘ugly blue crutches’ in them.”

Eventually, the mom told Boris to “leave and had the groom’s brother drive” him home. He wasn’t even allowed to stay for the cake! Jeez! He concluded:

“My whole family is saying ‘it’s her special day’ and how I ruined it by causing a fuss. I can’t [possibly] understand how this is reasonable.”

Their reaction is not “reasonable” at all. He was NOT in the wrong here! What his sister did was so s**tty and selfish. If she really cared about aesthetics so much, she could have arranged the family photos so that he and a few others sat in a chair. Or heck, there’s a thing called Photoshop! Edit the crutches to match the theme! And of course, it would have been wonderful if she had an ounce of compassion for her brother and didn’t care if the blue crutches were in the pictures in the first place! But again, if the theme was that important to her, there were other solutions than just throwing a tantrum and making him feel bad for something he couldn’t help!

The fact the look of everything was more important whether her brother was including on her big day is so messed up. And plenty of people in the comments would agree! Social media users completely agreed that the family — not Boris — were the “a**holes” in this situation:

It’s no secret Will and Camilla have never been the best of friends. Considering her affair with King Charles III amid his marriage to Princess Diana, that was always bound to be a complicated relationship!

The fam has put on a rather united front for the public lately. But apparently, things are still tense, even all these years later — and not just because of the affair! Recalling the moment William met Camilla when he was 17, royal expert Christopher Andersen told Us Weekly on Monday:

“She was shaking like a leaf. As soon as William left, she said she needed a gin and tonic.”

LOLz! WHUT??

While they’ve always seemed to get along in public, the Prince of Wales seemed to snub Camilla in July when he removed her sister Annabel Elliot (Charles’ chief interior designer) from the Duchy of Cornwall payroll. Andersen admitted there’s ongoing tension between the queen and future king, but he insisted it wasn’t meant to be a diss, arguing it was merely an “inevitable” business move, explaining, “William wants his own team in there.”

Meanwhile, two other sources told the outlet that William and Camilla have made great strides ever since Charles and Princess Catherine were diagnosed with cancer. A source said they have “a familial relationship these days,” while a friend of the Parker Bowles family elaborated:

“William has warmed up to Camilla over time.”

But they’re not out of the woods yet, per the first source:

“There’s a lot to overcome. William and Harry had always distrusted Camilla and felt resentment toward her because of their devotion to their mother. They never felt comfortable opening up to her in any real way.”

One reason Harry and William had issues with Camilla was amid claims she was giving the press negative stories about the royals to boost her image. The source acknowledged:

“William and Harry’s distrust grew when they found out Camilla was leaking stories to the press to make herself look better.”

In Spare, Harry even revealed both brothers had begged their father not to marry his now-wife. So that says a lot! Andersen said they’ve “put on a good front” publicly, “but I don’t think they were happy with Camilla stepping in.” But thanks to being united in their spat with Harry, Will and Camilla were able to grow closer.

A source said that when the Duke of Sussex parted the family in 2020, the other royals were able to put some of their differences aside, sharing:

“It brought them closer. William and Kate don’t want any extra drama or tension in the family — they have enough of that with Meghan [Markle] and Harry.”

Kate Middleton was reportedly a key factor in this reconciliation, the Parker Bowles family friend dished:

“It was really Kate who warmed William to Camilla.”

Catherine was supposedly accepting of Camilla long before the others, the first source added:

“She’s never been dismissive of Camilla and always treated her with kindness.”

Apparently, Will and Kate like Camilla’s down-to-earth personality, the insider added:

“They both like the fact that Camilla’s normal and makes Charles less stuffy. Kate likes her because she brings a real-life relatability into the family. She’s not all about the courtiers waiting on hand and foot. Camilla’s real like Kate is.”

But that may not be the full truth. The royal author had a VERY different opinion, claiming Camilla was initially opposed to Will and Kate marrying! Christopher claimed Camilla didn’t think Kate “was of their class,” revealing:

“Camilla’s a believer in aristocracy [and] kind of a snob.”

Oof! That had to have annoyed William! You know how protective he is of his wife! Fueled in part by that issue, the father of three still isn’t a huge fan of his stepmother but rather “tolerates her.” Ouch. Meanwhile, the author argued Camilla “has always been a little afraid of William.” Yeesh. Certainly sounds like they have a tricky dynamic!

At the end of the day, no matter their issues, William isn’t fighting his father’s romance anymore, the Parker Bowles family friend furthered:

“If his dad’s happy, William’s happy. Camilla and Charles get on so well and laugh all the time. Whenever you see them together, they’re having fun and giggling. That’s what William likes about Camilla — she warms his father up and brings out his human side.”

The source also defended their unusual arrangement which has Charles spending most of his time in Scotland while Camilla prefers staying in Wiltshire, England, where she can be close to her three grandkids (from her children from a previous marriage). The family friend insisted time apart like this is “totally normal in royal and aristocratic circles, and it works for them.” Now that the monarch is battling cancer, though, “she’s been looking after him” and they’ve spent much more time together. A confidant expressed:

“Camilla’s been taking great care of Charles.”

She’s also offered to help Kate with anything she may need during her treatment, as well, which has surely softened tensions with William. Christopher concluded:

“Charles’ illness has put Camilla’s devotion and dedication to her husband more in focus. And I’m sure William appreciates that.”

Health crises can definitely bring families together! Maybe not the whole family, but this is still progress.

As Perezcious readers know, for months now, the monarch has been trying to get his brother and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to move out of their home, the Royal Lodge. The Duke of York signed a 75-year lease on the property in the early 2000s, so he has no intention of leaving. Still, Charles is fighting against his stay and wants the co-parents to move into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s old place, Frogmore Cottage. Last we heard, His Majesty was tired of funding his younger bro’s ritzy lifestyle — and now he’s doing something about it!

On Sunday, The Sun reported that Charles has stripped Andrew of his 10-person private security team!

Just like Harry, when Andrew stopped being a working royal following his Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre scandal, he lost his police protection. He also lost his annual allowance, per Us Weekly. Unlike the Duke of Sussex, Charles has been helping Andrew maintain police protection at the 31-room mansion, where the private security team was stationed. But according to a Palace insider via The Sun, all this is coming to an end. They dished:

“Everyone is speculating this means the Duke will have to leave the Royal Lodge because what other reason could there be to take his security away? They are all working the final weeks of their contract till the end of October. It’s not thought anyone is being lined up to replace them. It isn’t a secret that the King wants him out.”

Wow! It’s currently unclear if Andrew plans to pay for his own security detail or what his next steps are.

Interestingly, sources also told the outlet that the Royal Household has no plans to move any other royals into the property (should Andrew ever leave). Instead, they want to find a new tenant for the place. They’re probably looking for a way to make some money off the property, which requires expensive upkeep every year. As the current tenant, Andrew is supposed to be responsible for $503,000 a year of upkeep, but photos obtained of the property suggest he’s been avoiding doing the necessary work, The Mirror reported in May. This is yet another reason Charles may want him out.

Meanwhile, two apartments are being refurbished at Kensington Palace but neither of them is being saved for Andrew, The Sun noted. That said, it doesn’t sound like he has been persuaded to leave his abode yet, but it’s interesting that Charles is threatening him with the security! Previously, The Times sources claimed one of the big reasons the 75-year-old wanted Andrew at Frogmore was because it “has the benefit of being within the Windsor Castle security cordon hence reducing the need for alternative round-the-clock security for Royal Lodge.” So, now it seems like Charles is trying to force Andrew’s hand.

There’s just one problem with his plan. According to The Sun, Charles is still paying Andrew £4 million a year to keep him afloat. This is seemingly unrelated to the money he spent on the mansion’s security detail. (Why does he need with that much money if he’s not working or paying for his own security? Jeez!) If Charles really wants to stick it to Andrew, he could revoke all his brother’s funding. We bet Andy would listen to his demands then! But right now, it doesn’t seem like the King is ready to be that mean! We’ll see what happens if this eviction debate rages on, though!

Despite this battle, the father of Princess Beatrice and Eugenie arrived at Balmoral Castle on Friday for a summer holiday, the outlet noted, where he will join Charles and other family members for a vacation. So, they may be beefing over this house, but it’s not a complete rift!
