In a lengthy Us Weekly cover story on Wednesday, sources opened up about how the Duchess of Sussex has found her new purpose after taking her Prince Charming and going home. Noting that she’s gone through many career changes in her past, a family friend told the outlet:

“You’re established in one world and then you enter another and your narrative is dictated by external forces.”

Not easy to navigate!

After leaving the royal family, Meghan and Prince Harry made a splash by doing several media projects and interviews, but it quickly became apparent none of it was panning out the way they had hoped. Their podcast, their Netflix deal, nothing was hitting.

In recent months, however, the Suits alum has clearly been preparing for her next shot. Not only is she teasing the launch of her lifestyle company American Rivera Orchards, but she’s also taking pointers from Hollywood powerhouses like Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow. She joined them and others at the house of broker Amy Griffin for a one-day business summit in July, an insider dished:

“Meghan was there to network. She was very kind and humble and eager to learn.”

Over the summer, she’s also gotten more involved with various charity organizations, like The Parents’ Network, a campaign to protect kids from online harm. She and her hubby also made a trip to Colombia. A second insider reflected:

“Meghan has transitioned from actress to royal to entrepreneur. She’s worn many hats, but she believes age and experience have [prepared her] for a bigger purpose in life. She’s very happy with the role she’s carved out.”

It was important for her to take the time to process everything and come up with a new plan of action after her initial media blitz post-royals, the family friend acknowledged:

“After Spare, [Harry and Meghan] realized, ‘OK, we’re ready to move on. We want to focus on our future. We can have meaning and importance separate from the lives we had previously.’”

They added:

“Meghan doesn’t harbor any negative feelings. She just wants peace, and knows you can’t find peace if you harbor resentments.”

She seemed to address this herself earlier this month in Colombia, saying:

“So much of how I approach things is less about the fight and more about how do we show up in the space and wash things over with love and kindness and generosity.”

Take her feud with Princess Catherine, for example. While she was happy to wish her well amid her cancer diagnosis, Meghan and Harry have not spoken out about other royal matters — and that’s on purpose. The family friend dished:

“Meghan’s team gets asked daily to comment on stuff that has nothing to do with their lives now. They have left it behind.”

She’s also left some of her own family members behind, like controversial father Thomas Markle, the first source said:

“Meghan still has no contact with her dad. She does not plan on having a relationship with him, and he has not met his grandkids. That ship has sailed.”

Instead, she leans on her pals and “has a great group of friends who are all successful in their own ways who she really trusts.” This includes Serena Williams and Ellen DeGeneres plus other local moms she meets up with regularly. The first insider added that she’s “very close” with neighbor and Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd while a second insider said she’s befriended entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima, cofounder of IT Cosmetics.

Things are a bit more difficult for Harry. He “has a small [group] of close friends,” the second source shared, claiming he prefers to keep his inner circle small for “understandable reasons.” While that may be true, we have been hearing his UK friends don’t like his wife and that’s a big reason he’s become more lonely. Not to mention, most live in the UK, and he had to move to California — so that can’t be easy! Regardless, it sounds like he’ll always put his family first, the source went on:

“He’ll always be fond of his home country, but the way he views it, his wife and kids are his priority. If that means making sure they’re safe and happy in Montecito, then he supports that.”

The husband and wife are both very hands-on parents who want their kids Archie and Lilibet to have normal childhoods despite their fame, the family friend continued:

“They take the kids to school, they pick them up, and they are very active and present with them throughout the day.”

Referencing the Duke’s battle for security in the UK, the family friend insisted the children are going to stay out of the spotlight for their safety, noting:

“I think every parent wants to share their kid with the world, but they just can’t. … [Prince] William’s kids, for example, have way more safety, even though they’re recognizable. And the same doesn’t apply to Meghan and Harry’s children. They know the world wants to see [them but] I would expect them to live smaller lives until that gets sorted, if it ever does.”

It sounds like the kids may not even understand their royal heritage yet, as the friend pointed out, “they’ll have those conversations in due time.” Right now, Meg and Harry want the little ones to feel loved for who they are:

“They’re so well-mannered. Archie is sweet and curious and playful, and Lili is vibrant and happy.”

The second source added that the parents are happy just being parents right now. Thankfully they apparently have plenty of time despite working on their Archewell Foundation campaigns and launching their business ventures. But as the kids get older, anything is possible:

“Afterwards who’s to say? But I think the focus is very much on raising their two children.”

And staying on the same page really helps. Meghan and Harry have been leaning on each other for support this whole time, the friend shared:

“They’re so in sync. Throughout their relationship, they’ve stood together no matter what.”

The second insider revealed that they enjoy downtime together and try to keep a positive mindset and are motivated to do their best work always, saying:

“It’s rooted in the bonds they share together.”

As for their new life in California, they do a lot of low-key activities like gardening, hiking, and cooking. The second insider described it as “a California lifestyle.” What, they don’t garden in Merry Old England??

While it was no doubt difficult to walk away from the royal family, they do have a big bonus now. They can work on “projects they are passionate about as opposed to being given projects to do,” making the work “more personal,” the second insider dished. Good point!

Along with The Parents’ Network, Meghan is working on her new initiative, the Welcome Project, which helps empower female refugees from Afghanistan. A third source who has worked with the former actress told the outlet:

“Female advocacy remains a centerpiece of her philanthropic intent.”

She’s also looking forward to launching her lifestyle brand sometime early next year, around the time her new Netflix series is supposed to premiere. The second source expressed:

“[ARO] will likely be very much in line with who Meghan is as a person. She loves hosting events, and she’s very thoughtful about how she treats her guests whenever they come over.”

The third insider said her series “is going to be a take on her and the joy of living,” including “little things she’s learned in terms of being a modern-day hostess.” It’s been rumored Harry may make an appearance. For now, the sources just promised there would be many familiar faces joining in.

So, Meghan has a lot on her plate coming up — but she’s NOT planning to run for office, return to acting, or write a memoir despite rampant rumors, the third confidant maintained. She’s just being Meghan:

“Meghan’s in the middle of her story right now.”

Maybe one day! Right now, a big passion of the 43-year-old’s is simply to give back, the family friend added:

“She knows her life would be extraordinarily different if she did not marry who she married. There is privilege and so much room to do good. She wants to meet the moment and make good on her good fortune.”

The friend noted that it was hard for her to “be herself” in the royal household which is why this change of pace is so refreshing, they shared:

“Most people are not really allowed to be themselves — if you’ve watched The Crown, I think that’s pretty understood.”

That’s why she’s so excited about this moment:

“There’s air and space and room. She can just be who she is.”

It’s certainly an exciting time with so much still to come from Meg! We just hope her business ventures and media projects are more successful this time around! Otherwise, she’s gonna have to come up with a whole new plan!

The rapper’s gospel group has had its tax-exemption status revoked after failing to file tax returns for the past THREE years! WTF?! From here, it’s unclear what will come of the rapper’s faith-based Sunday Service idea. But the Internal Revenue Service is at least adamant about one thing: it can’t operate as a non-profit organization any longer!

First reported by the US Sun, and then confirmed by Page Six, the Gold Digger rapper’s Sunday Service charity has been shut down by the IRS for failing to file any tax returns for three fiscal years. A note on the IRS website that was updated on Monday indicates that the org was shut down and its tax exemption status revoked back on May 15 “for not filing a Form 990-series return or notice for three consecutive years.”

Oops!

The Hurricane rapper first founded Sunday Service back in 2019, so based on that quote, it sounds like he filed tax returns for just the first two years before dropping it. Not ideal! Originally, as is the case with all listed 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, Sunday Service had been given an exemption from federal income tax filings. But without any documentation regarding its financials for three years now, the IRS swiftly pulled that charity demarcation.

Sunday Service has had quite an interesting run, to put it mildly. Ye’s first performance for that project occurred at Coachella on Easter Sunday in 2019. He also collaborated with megachurch pastor Joel Osteen at various points, with the televangelist’s Houston church hosting Ye in November of that year.

Ye also might really be hurting for money following the fade of Sunday Service. We say that because back in 2020, during an interview with Nick Cannon, Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husband admitted to spending “every dime” he had on the thing! At the time, Ye claimed he spent upwards of $50 million marketing his faith-based project:

“I spent every dime that I have for marketing from Yeezy on Sunday Service. Every dollar I had. I spent $50 million last year on Sunday Service if you add up the operas, if you add up the flights. It was 120 people going to Jamaica. The Yeezys, they were selling themselves. So instead of paying for ads, I invested it in the church. I invested in spreading [the] gospel. I invested in saying Jesus’ name on high.”

And now, that’s all over… at least as far as the IRS is concerned regarding the outfit as a charity. Per Page Six, a rep for the rapper did not return a request for comment about the gov’s decision, so at this point, Ye’s reaction to it is unknown.

“I’m now on Cameo, so hit me up. I’d love to help you guys out. Also, you’re helping me out because I’ll be donating my money to cancer research. Actually, esophageal cancer, because obviously that is near and dear to my heart, so hit me up. I’d love to shoot you a message.”

As you may recall, the Vanderpump Rules alum’s father, Ronald Cauchi, sadly died in December 2017 after losing his battle with esophageal cancer. It’s amazing Jax wants to generously donate the money earned from the platform to cancer research – if that was his real intention. Because, according to Brittany, it isn’t! She wrote over the clip of her ex:

“Just realized Jax has this on his cameo and it’s disgusting because he hasn’t donated a dime. FYI @cameo.”

Did the momma really just accuse Jax of trying to scam people? If this is true, add it to the looong list of icky things Jax Taylor has done. The shocking post didn’t stay up for too long. According to Page Six, she deleted it minutes later. However, Brittany gave just enough time for folks to get screenshots of her message – and even their The Valley co-star Kristen Doute’s re-post! A source told Page Six on Saturday that the Cameo video was made “three years ago,” and it has been “shown on TV and social media” that Jax has “attended multiple charities, donating not only his money but his time.” Hmm. Yet, even if the clip is old, this doesn’t answer if the 45-year-old television personality donated his Cameo earnings as he promised. As we mentioned, Brittany claimed he didn’t.

In Season 6, Episode 12 of the hit sitcom, titled “Scott’s Tots,” Michael Scott “realizes that he cannot keep a decade-old promise to pay college tuition for several children,” per the description. He has to break the news to a room full of mostly Black students. It’s truly painful to watch. In a terrible twist of fate, this exact plot line is playing out now for a bunch of Chicago kids!

According to WBEZ Chicago on Wednesday, the Schuler Scholars program has abruptly shut down — leaving tons of students with a last-minute financial issue just weeks before the school year begins.

The program was founded by (former) billionaire Jack Schuler, a healthcare investor and former Abbott Laboratories executive, and his daughter over two decades ago to help send low-income and first-generation Chicago kids to college. But last month Jack sent an email to the program’s participants announcing he will no longer be funding their education!

Marcus Jackson, a participant, told the outlet:

“I’m just kind of at a loss for words. I just hope something can be done so that everyone can stay in school and not have to be in debt the rest of [their lives].”

He added:

“Because nobody asked for this. We all put in the work … We literally did what we’re supposed to do.”

Hundreds of students were promised $2,500 a year plus thousands more to cover health insurance. While an email announcing the end of the program included an apology, according to Jackson, it wasn’t enough to make up for this horrible situation, he said:

“That doesn’t make me feel any better. It doesn’t pay the bills. It definitely doesn’t send us through school.”

And when you realize what the kids went through to get this scholarship, it makes it so much s**ttier!!

So why is this happening? Well, former employees claimed Jack has been struggling financially. Reportedly, his estimated personal wealth has dropped from $1.1 billion to $200 million — that’s still a lot of money, though! Just not enough that he wants to give any of it away anymore. Earlier this year, the Schuler family laid off almost all of their scholarship program staff and started winding down operations, even though in May they were telling everyone things would be fine.

Robert Kelchen, who researches higher education funding at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, explained how the kids picked out colleges based on the promise of the scholarship:

“This affected where they went. And [the Schulers] were telling students in May they’ll get the money and then they changed their mind in July — that’s where it’s really devastating. … If they knew months ago, there’s a chance that colleges could have helped them, but that money has all been given out.”

Jackson reflected:

“If I was in a position of power, like Mr. Schuler, and I was promising all these kids all these things, I would hope I could just stay true to my word.”

Robert also noted how strange it is for a scholarship program to end so suddenly and without honoring those already receiving money — going so far as to say the students would have been better off NEVER SIGNING UP for the program. Wow.

And, btw, the students had to do a lot more than just fill out an application senior year in hopes of securing some cash for their upcoming schooling. This was practically a full-time job!

In exchange for counseling, tutoring, and help to pay tuition, high school students had to sign a contract promising to fulfill a long list of requirements and live under the watchful eye of the program in order to secure their financing. Stephany Flores, a rising junior at Pomona College in California, dished:

“We gave ourselves to this organization for four years, with some of us even compromising our mental health. The Schuler coaches played a really big role in almost being our therapist … because we needed to fulfill these highly demanding requirements in order to get that scholarship.”

So what are those requirements? Per the outlet, students had to maintain a near-perfect GPA, take AP classes every year, and attend regular meetings with staff. They also had to submit an application and go on a camping trip before the start of their freshman year. They spent their entire high school experiences working towards this money — only to suddenly have it ripped away. And that’s not even accounting for what happens after high school.

In order to get the $10,000 scholarship, students — again, who were mostly people of color — could only attend a college handpicked by the Schulers. And, yeah, you probably guessed it. This list was definitely racially inappropriate, whether they intended so or not. While no establishments were named, the outlet said the list included mostly small liberal arts schools that were made up of mostly white students — as if those are the only good schools out there. Ugh.

A counselor who was laid off from the Schuler Scholars program in May discussed the difficulty of this rule, sharing:

“A lot of students who go to the ‘Schuler-preferred’ option end up transferring and dropping out because it was really racist, or they did not feel safe or they couldn’t find communities that they identified with in that place.”

The ex-employee, who was speaking anonymously due to a NDA signed to receive severance pay, continued:

“I think [Jack] Schuler was often trying to put a square peg in a round hole and impose what the Schulers thought was best on to students rather than listening to what [students] thought was best for them.”

Jeez.

Now, think of all those students in schools they don’t really like and don’t feel they belong in now scrambling to figure out a way to pay for it! Let’s not forget most of these tiny liberal arts schools probably had higher tuition to begin with than other options!

Jackson, who is Black and at Lawrence University, spoke out on this challenge, saying that he wanted to go to a big uni because he grew up in a big city, but he landed with the small college in Wisconsin to get the funding he’d worked so hard for. He was just one of a handful of other Black students, making his first year really hard. He’d finally started to get used to the school and found his community in his sophmore year, but now without the Schuler scholarship, he will likely have to get a second job in order to stay. He reflected:

“‘Go to these schools that you don’t really want to go to, and we’ll just pay for you.’ And then you go to the schools that are mad expensive and where there’s only a few people that look like you. And then they’re like, ‘Oh, sorry, we can’t pay for your school anymore. But find some way to stay there. And good luck.’”

A representative for the Illinois attorney general, who is in charge of enforcing state rules regulating charities and foundations, said they couldn’t comment on potential or pending litigation. Sadly, Stephany pointed out that she (and probably others) would like to pursue legal action but it’s unlikely to happen:

“I just don’t think that anyone in the program has the resources to be able to do that, sadly. And it kind of sucks, right? That we need to have resources in order to fight for the resources that were promised to us.”

The Schuler family didn’t respond to the outlet’s request for a comment. SMH. They sure look like some greedy MFs right now. The least they could do is be more honest about their decision. Or, you know, help all these kids continue paying for school like they promised! Even Michael Scott tried to do more than they have after canceling his promised scholarships! Just look at the similarities in the episode (below):

The Microsoft founder is one of several rich and powerful men whose names have been linked to the billionaire pedo. And considering victims of his underage sex trafficking operation said he used it to get men like this under his thumb, these guys have a lot to answer for.

Unfortunately most of the media seems uninterested, as it pretty much always has been, in getting to the bottom of it all. But some journalists are still digging, even if it’s from a different angle. Anupreeta Das from The New York Times has now written a book about Bill Gates in which she probably looked more into his relationship with Epstein than anyone else. In Billionaire, Nerd, Savior, King: Bill Gates and His Quest to Shape Our World, out August 13, Das delves into how Epstein first set his sights on the software mogul.

Per DailyMail.com, Das says Epstein saw the famous “Giving Pledge” Gates, Warren Buffett, and a few dozen other billionaires made to give away 99% of their wealth to charity as a new “way to make money.” Ugh, what a vulture. This was in 2010, after Epstein’s conviction. Remember, his famous “sweetheart deal” gave immunity to his powerful co-conspirators and allowed him to plea bargain to a much lesser crime, but he was still a registered sex offender. Apparently Epstein believed attaching himself to Gates and his charity could clean up his reputation while he helped himself.

Anupreeta writes that Epstein managed to “tunnel his way into Gates’s orbit” in 2011 with great success. They were introduced by neurosurgeon Melanie Walker, a friend of Epstein’s, and Gates science adviser Boris Nikolic. Epstein pitched Gates some kind of health fund for billionaires, and the two began working together on it. They even became friends, with Gates reportedly referring to Epstein as “my buddy.”

“Of all the stars that studded Epstein’s dark universe, Gates was the brightest.”

Per the author, Epstein’s lifestyle — travel, partying, massages, constantly being surrounded by young women — felt like an “adventure” to the long-married Gates. He told a colleague Epstein’s “lifestyle is very different and kind of intriguing although it would not work for me.”

One Epstein victim claimed to have gone to the Microsoft offices in Seattle and posed for a photo with Gates. The book even details emails between the two men which referred to Gates going to Epstein’s place for “Big Macs”:

“There were references to Gates visiting Epstein’s residences, and Epstein arranging for ‘Big Macs’ which one of the people said referred to Epstein’s interest in young girls — and also the food he was sometimes known to serve to his guests at his Manhattan townhouse, on silver platters.”

Apparently Gates didn’t vet the sex offender (who had been convicted of soliciting sex from a 14-year-old), and, Das says, when he was warned about him “chose not to listen.” Why? Because Epstein “could offer him something that was worth putting (his) image risk aside for.” Ick! Das also writes about Bill’s alleged relationship with a young Russian woman, something she says Epstein heavily implied he knew about. You can read more about that whole scandal HERE.

There were reports Gates asked Epstein for advice on his “toxic” marriage, and the sex trafficker urged his new pal to divorce Melinda Gates and become a free man. Maybe Bill was always going to leave. Maybe Epstein’s encouragement, being the devil on his shoulder, really pushed him. In any case, Epstein’s influence won out eventually. The couple announced their divorce about two years after his “suicide.”

In fact, it’s been suggested the relationship with Epstein was a big part of the wedge between the couple. Sources have claimed knowing Bill had a relationship with this monster “haunted” Melinda. She even said she “had nightmares” after her one meeting with him, telling CBS News after the divorce:

“I wanted to see who this man was and I regretted it from the second I stepped in the door. He was abhorrent, he was evil personified, I had nightmares about it afterwards.”

Yeesh. Bill and Jeffrey’s last known contact is all the way back in 2014, but the stain of the friendship is likely to last the rest of Gates’ life.

For his part, the 68-year-old is denying most of what’s in the new book. Gates told DM the author relied “almost exclusively on second- and third-hand hearsay and anonymous sources.” In an official statement, his rep blasted:

“The book includes highly sensationalized allegations and outright falsehoods that ignore the actual documented facts our office provided to the author on numerous occasions. Mr. Gates has previously stated his deep regret for ever meeting with Epstein, who he met with for discussions regarding philanthropy only.”

Well, someone took part in the damned sex trafficking ring. He didn’t traffic these young girls to no one. And yet, Donald Trump and Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew and more all just deny, deny, deny.

“In her memory let’s support our favorite animal charities. Whether that’s donating money , stopping by your local shelter and just offering cuddles and walks to animals housed there or even just tagging them in the comments so other people can learn about their work. I know that would make our girl happy (and illicit that deep throaty laugh we all loved) “

The pair have been friends for decades since meeting in the 1990s through their respective Warner Bros. shows — Buffy and Charmed — but their bond became even stronger during the COVID-19 lockdown when Shannen opened up her home to Sarah and her children, helping to give the kids “adventures” and “freedom” during the challenging time. Sarah reflected in a February episode of the Let’s Be Clear podcast:

“You opened your home to us in COVID in a way that I will for the rest of my life be grateful for. […] I can never repay that because that was such a difficult time and so seeing my kids that happy and giving me a break. People don’t know this, but Shannen sat there sometimes while they were on Zoom school and helped them and we would have blackouts and she would plan adventures.”

Sounds like the Heathers star went above and beyond for them! So special! In February, the Cruel Intentions star also told E! News of their friendship:

“Our relationship has grown because we’ve grown. We’ve had experiences and life is complicated. And we’ve been able to experience it together, so then you grow together.”

As Perezcious readers know, the 53-year-old had been fighting stage 4 breast cancer on and off since 2015. Discussing her pal’s cancer battle in October 2023, Sarah also told Access Hollywood:

“She’s incredible. When they say a warrior, she is a warrior. She lives every day and she’s fighting. There are ups and downs and there are days that are harder than others and there are some days that are easy, but she’s doing great.”

SMG stayed by Shannen’s side through this whole journey, so we cannot imagine how difficult this death must be for her! We are sending her our thoughts as she continues to process this loss. R.I.P.

On Thursday, the Duke of Sussex sat down with Nikki Scott, the founder of Scotty’s Little Soldiers, to honor the UK’s Armed Forces Day. Nikki created the foundation in 2010 to help kids after her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, died while serving in Afghanistan as she was navigating the emotional loss with her own two young kids. Praising Nikki, Harry shared:

“What you’ve done is incredible. It is truly inspirational. I know that word gets thrown around a lot, but it is. And to see the difference in some of the kids there … you can see that they’re still processing their grief, but this community of support is everything. It’s amazing.”

Both Harry and Nikki were practically in tears later when the founder recalled the moment she learned of her husband’s death in 2009. Her son Kai was 5 at the time and their daughter Brooke was just 7 months old. She expressed:

“It was the worst. How do you tell a 5-year-old this? Because I literally just shattered his world. … He knew that life was never ever going to be the same.”

She also noted that her first thoughts were about how many other children were experiencing a similar loss and grief, though she thought it was “so corny.” Harry insisted:

“There’s nothing corny about that.”

Continuing to reflect on the difficult day, Nikki said of her son:

“He’s autistic as well, so I knew I had to be really clear and not confuse him, but you also wanna protect your children.”

When Kai arrived home from school that day, just hours after the tragic news was delivered to her, she said he “knew” something was wrong and she told him about the death, adding, “It’s a conversation I will never forget.” The father of two praised the mother for doing “the best you could” in the moment.

Speaking from his own experience of losing his mom Princess Diana in 1997 when he was just 12, Harry said “the hardest thing” for children to do is be honest about their feelings, musing:

“[They think], ‘I don’t want to talk about it because it will make me sad.’ … If you suppress this for too long, you can’t suppress it forever, it is not sustainable and it will eat away at you inside.”

He also said of his thought process at the time:

“You convince yourself that the person you’ve lost wants you, or you need, to be sad for as long as possible, to prove to them that they’re missed, but then there’s this realization [of], ‘No, they must want me to be happy.’”

The Archewell founder — who previously revealed he was convinced his mother was secretly alive and would come back for him one day — also opened up about wanting to find all the “proof” about Diana’s death, something Nikki very much related to. She agreed:

“Back then, it was really important that I knew every single piece of the puzzle … I was like, ‘I need to know everything that happened.'”

It must be so, so hard to process such a sudden and unexpected loss, so we get the desire to want all the facts and evidence! But it’s incredible how Nikki has turned this deep despair into a powerful organization helping so many others! While it wasn’t easy, she told Harry that she ultimately realized her husband “didn’t die for nothing” and she was eager for her kids to understand that as well.

Near the end of the conversation, the 39-year-old Spare author said she was absolutely “making a difference” in the military community, adding:

“[Your husband] would be super proud of you.”

She concluded:

“I hope so.”

Yes, even the stunning strapless Berta dress she tried on during Season 8 of Summer House… But rather than tossing the designer gowns in the trash or burning them in a backyard, she’s now using the couture to help others!

Lindsay partnered with Kleinfeld Bridal to sell her dresses and help launch their resale site for gently used or unworn wedding gowns, Kleinfeld Again. Wow! Not only will three lucky brides have a something old for their big day, but the proceeds from her sales will help young women diagnosed with breast cancer! The Bravo personality explained on Instagram:

“Best of all, all proceeds from my three dresses will be donated to @ChickMission, a nonprofit organization that helps young women diagnosed with cancer preserve their fertility and future family options. Cheers to the final step in my healing journey. One day, I know I’ll be back with my #Kleinfeld family again when the time is right!”

What a great way to close out that difficult time! Speaking with Page Six Style on Thursday, Lindsay said she originally thought the Summer House reunion was the last part to overcome in her “healing journey.” However, she soon realized she had something else to do first. It was getting the gowns out of her closet was the real “finale” for her:

“Getting these dresses out of my closet is just so relieving and refreshing, and I am really excited for someone else to enjoy them.”

Aww! Now, Lindsay just hopes the dresses will be enjoyed — and make it down the aisle this time:

“You know, I bought these dresses out of love, and they are stunning and beautiful, and I do believe that they … deserve a second home to help someone celebrate that huge milestone of love. So I am really excited for someone else to enjoy them because I truly fell in love with each and every one of them.”

According to CBS News, which first reported on the story over the weekend, earlier this month, Mayor Adams and the people who hand out the ceremonial key to the city decided to nullify the rap mogul’s award and request that the key be sent back at once. Amid the controversy involving his ex Cassie, as well as the multiple unsettling lawsuits and other claims against him, NYC wants no part of Diddy!

In a letter about the matter that the mayor wrote privately to one of Combs’ companies earlier this month, Adams noted:

“The Key to the City of New York is presented to individuals whose service to the public and the common good rises to the highest level of achievement, and who act as a model for fellow and future New Yorkers. After internal deliberations, the Key to the City of New York committee recommended nullifying and rescinding Mr. Combs’ key. I have accepted their recommendation.”

Along with it, Adams requested that Diddy return the key directly to City Hall as soon as possible. Per that news outlet, the key was indeed received as requested by the mayor’s office last week. It’s only a ceremonial thing, obviously. But still. Ouch!!

And that’s not the only rescinding going on with Diddy. Also earlier this month, Howard University rescinded an honorary degree that they’d previously awarded him in 2014 and cut financial ties with the mogul. But the key to NYC is definitely noteworthy if only for how quickly it came back. The rapper had it for just nine months! And then… poof! Reactions, y’all??

Before her sold-out shows in Edinburgh last week, many homeless people were moved out of the city to accommodate tourists coming to see the pop star perform. Legally, people declared homeless in Scotland are required to be given emergency temporary accommodations arranged by the Edinburgh City Council. However, the council declared a housing emergency last year. A national housing emergency was also declared earlier this month, leaving tourist accommodations as the last option for those in need. But when fans traveled into Edinburgh for the Eras Tour concert, the city needed to make room at the hotels, so they sent many homeless people out of the city to different areas — even as far as three hours away in Northern England! Crazy!

Of course, this “blatant injustice” upset a lot of people. When Taylor learned of the homeless situation in Scotland, she apparently decided to give back to the people. So, the 34-year-old singer gave a massive donation to the Edinburgh Food Project before leaving for the next stop on the tour! The food bank took to Instagram on Monday to reveal her kind gesture, writing:

“As fans gathered at Murrayfield on Friday for the first of three record-breaking gigs, Edinburgh Food Project found out that Taylor Swift would be making a donation to support foodbanks across the city. Taylor’s visit will live in Edinburgh’s memories for years to come, and this gift will mean people in crisis will also feel the long-lasting impact.”

So wonderful! The charity then asked fans to donate £13 — a nod to Tay’s lucky number. Check out the post (below):

And the praise for Taylor’s generosity didn’t stop there! Edinburgh Food Project director Bethany Biggar thanked the Lover artist for “spreading such positivity” in a statement to People on Wednesday:

“We are thrilled that Taylor has decided to support the food banks and leave a lasting impact on Edinburgh. Things are really tough for a lot of people right now, so it is lovely to see someone like Taylor spreading such positivity.”

What’s even better? Taylor fans have followed in her footsteps since then! Bethany noted the organization received more donations from Swifties everywhere, which will go toward operations for their seven food banks across the city and help the “6,000+ people in crisis that we support every year.” That is amazing to hear!
