Almost immediately after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce, Ben was — to the great shock of many — suddenly hanging out with someone new! He’s now been linked to Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy — yes, as in that Kennedy fam. She’s the daughter of disturbing former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Per Page Six reports, they’ve been seen hanging out at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel and at other hotspots in El Lay lately, causing many to wonder if there’s something romantic between them. After all, he’s a free man now, right?

Right now, to be perfectly honest, nobody’s quite sure what to think. A source told People on Monday the duo is absolutely hanging out a lot together — but the motivation hasn’t been confirmed as romantic yet:

“Kick and Ben have been spending time together, but I’m not sure what’s happening.”

But the source does note it’s likely there are feelings on Kick’s part — as she has “always” had a thing for the actor:

“Kick’s celeb crush has always been Ben.”

Wow! Sooo swooping in at the end of his marriage was good timing on her part! LOLz!

It’s unclear when or how the potential new couple first met — or, crucially, when. So could this possible relationship — no matter if it’s romantic or platonic — have affected the marriage?? Maybe! The timing of everything sure doesn’t seem like a coincidence!

Another source claimed Ben and Kick have been “spending time together” since late spring — AKA, right as his marriage was coming to an end! The father of three moved out of his marital home in May following his split from the pop star — remember, she listed April 26 as the date of separation in her divorce filing. Yeah, so, the timing looks pretty sketchy! Hopefully, Ben and Kick’s interactions started after his romance with J.Lo was done, but anything’s possible!

Despite a 16-year age gap, RFK Jr’s 36-year-old daughter seemingly has a lot in common with Ben. She’s an activist and actress, so they can connect about industry things. Somewhat more concerning though, considering Ben’s addiction struggles, she’s described by the first source as a “partier” who “likes to have a good time.” Takes after her dad, we guess? We hope, if they are hanging out, that it doesn’t affect his sobriety!

While some are convinced there are sparks, not everyone’s sold. A third insider denied anything is happening:

“I don’t think they even know each other. There’s definitely nothing going on.”

Hmm… It’s hard to know what to think, but Ben does seem to be pretty happy right now despite his divorce! Maybe that’s ’cause he’s already got a new woman in his life??

Early Monday morning, DailyMail.com broke the news the NFL star made a mad dash from the singer’s Rhode Island home after the lovely weekend they spent together. As we previously reported, the pair had a heck of a house party, full of their A-list friends as they celebrated Tay Tay finally finishing out her Eras Tour. With football season rapidly approaching, though, Trav had to take off back towards Kansas City after the little break.

The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end was photographed at the airport around midnight in some casual clothes and a baseball cap in order to keep a low-profile, leaving Taylor back at holiday house with her friends. He’s expected to attend the Kansas City Sports Awards to receive the “Sportsperson of the Year” honor. He had a two hour flight to get back home, leaving plenty of time for him to get prepped for the ceremony.

Man, these two are so busy! We’re glad they’re not letting it keep them from seeing one another whenever they can! But man they are putting some miles on those jets!

Quite simply? She “was done waiting.” That’s what a source told People. It seems Ben wouldn’t make that final move. He was willing to rent a whole other house and move his stuff out… but not up to actually being the responsible one, putting his legal retainer where his mouthpiece was and actually filing. And when Jen realized nothing was going to change, she made the change herself. Another source told the outlet:

“She’s very disappointed and sad, but Ben hasn’t given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage.”

No kidding! He moved to Brentwood! We’d say he gave her plenty of signs he wants out! It wasn’t what Jennifer wanted, but she needed to “move on” from Ben after 20 years. So she did what she had to do.

We’ve been wondering if she’s been waiting weeks for this particular day to file. After all, August 20 is also the second anniversary of their big Georgia wedding ceremony. Our latest theory? We know J.Lo went to see Ben on his birthday on Thursday. He had a quiet little family get-together at home to celebrate turning 52. We were surprised to hear Jen even showed up, considering they hadn’t really been talking. But she did.

So was this a last-ditch effort? A chance for Ben to give her a sign, anything at all, to show he still had any fight left in him? That he even wanted things to be better between them? That he was worth waiting for? If so she got her answer. Because this divorce filing came just five days after that.

It makes sense after learning she didn’t stay long at the gathering. She left to go see Bruno Mars in concert instead. You know, someone who would catch a grenade for ya. Which, frankly, is what J.Lo should hold out for. Because she’s worth it.

That’s the new claim being made this weekend, at least. First reported widely by The Sun after the gossip account DeuxMoi picked up on anonymous chatter that the pair had allegedly split up, it sounds like things are supposedly over between the pop star and the Saltburn actor. And is it because he wouldn’t stop partying??

Per The Sun‘s reporting, the 25-year-old crooner and the 31-year-old thespian actually split up almost three weeks ago! WHAT?!

And the reason behind the apparent split is supposedly very cut-and-dry: Sabrina got sick of Barry’s hard-partying ways! That outlet reported news from insiders who claimed Carpenter was tired of the Irish actor behaving like an “idiot” while he was drinking. The insider explained:

“Barry acts like an idiot when he is drunk and Sabrina was getting increasingly frustrated. He has always been a party animal and Sabrina was fed up with his antics. She is soaring in the charts and is putting herself first as she gears up for her tour next month.”

And so, she supposedly cut him loose. Wow!

FWIW, as we noted up top, DeuxMoi previously shared an anonymous tip claiming the stars had parted ways back on Friday. But hours after the DeuxMoi tip came through, Barry went on Instagram and double-tapped the like button on a post on Carpenter’s page of her wearing some super-sexy lingerie. So, if this split really is real, his online activity would be interesting, wouldn’t it?!

As you no doubt know, these two have been together for a few months now. Carpenter even declared in a Vanity Fair interview back in June that she was “in love for the first time” amid the romance with the Oscar nominee. So, this would be quite the turnaround from that highest of highs! If this breakup report is really true…

She’s yet to speak out about the scare on social media, and many are speculating that’s because she’s following the instructions of the Austrian government. Speaking about terrorists is considered the kind of reinforcement that encourages more attempts, unfortunately. So she shouldn’t speak out about the plots, even if she’d want to communicate with fans who are upset about the shows being canceled.

Security has been amped up tenfold for her upcoming London shows. Hopefully that’s enough to get her confidence back up. It certainly looks like it based on this outing!

And it’s doubly a big deal, because Ben will turn 52 on Thursday — so it seems like she’s getting in some quality time with him on the eve of a big day!

BTW, per that insider who spoke to the mag, Lopez not only hung out with Ben, but the 55-year-old crooner also spent some quality time with his 12-year-old son Samuel! That source reported that the pair went to a mall in El Lay earlier on Sunday afternoon before J.Lo showed up at Ben’s rented pad in Brentwood. Nice!

That source was also quick to note that Lopez isn’t down to leave Ben’s kids (Violet, 18, Finn, 15, and Samuel) hanging just because she and the Argo actor are going through it lately:

“Just because she’s not with Ben doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care about his kids.”

It’s such a critical move to show that parenting (and co-parenting!) still matters!

Furthermore, Lopez and Affleck hadn’t seen each other for a LONG while before this Sunday hangout on the west coast. As you may recall from our reporting earlier this month, the duo went weeks without seeing each other after Ben stayed back on the west coast as Lopez enjoyed a long summer getaway in the Hamptons. Billionaire Richard Lugner has died just two months after his most recent marriage — HIS SIXTH. The Austrian tycoon, who had a big hand in the construction industry in Vienna, was suffering severe back pain and exhaustion recently, per reports. EMTs rushed to his villa in Doebling early Monday, but sadly there was nothing they could do. He was 91 years old.

Lugner was perhaps best known for his wild “dating” history. Really he paid huge sums to go on “dates” with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and even Geri Halliwell! In 2014 he took Kim to a ball. It was pretty obviously not a serious romantic move, seeing as she was with Kanye West at that point — and we know how he gets when she dates white guys… We imagine it was just to feel cool for the night. And it seemed to work.

But apparently Richard was over his A-list escort phase. His death comes after he married Simone Reilaender, who was only 42 btw. He said in recent weeks he was prepared to leave everything to his wife, 49 years his junior, and it seems that’s exactly what he did. The Sun reported he said just last week she would be the “sole boss” of his shopping mall in Vienna:

“My wife wears the pants now. She should support me actively. From now on, we will share my work. At some point, when I am no longer here, she will be the sole boss.”

He wasn’t the only one to boast about his spouse, as after the wedding, Simone herself told local media outlets:

“We had a very long wedding night. Longer than the wedding day.”

The entrepreneur had recently suffered a ruptured heart valve in July, and surgeons discovered his mitral valve was leaking and blood was flowing the wrong way all around his body. It’s unclear if these health issues are what caused his death, but he knew the day was coming, and prepared everything ahead of time. Multiple outlets even reported he ordered his own gravestone months ago.

The billionaire leaves behind four children.
