The trio had dinner on Tuesday at Craig’s in West Hollywood. Unlike his estranged wife when she went out with her pal, Jax had no smile on his face as he left the establishment! And that’s most likely because, as Jesse put it in a video obtained by The US Sun, the Vanderpump Rules alum “is going through it right now.”

Obviously, Jax is “leaning on” his pals during this difficult time. An insider told The US Sun on Wednesday that he and Jesse have even become closer than ever as they both are dealing with divorces from their longtime partners. Remember, Jesse and his wife Michelle Saniei broke up earlier this year, just days before the first season of The Valley premiered. So if anyone understands what Jax is experiencing right now is him! The source said:

“He is close with Jesse Lally right now and they are leaning on each other amid divorces. Jesse invited him out on Tuesday evening to Craig’s to support him after the news. Jax arrived about 7 pm and left two hours later. He got in an SUV and then drove down and got Jesse and his new girlfriend, who also jumped in before they headed home.”

It sounds like they had an early night!

“His friends don’t want to leave him alone at the moment, and are rallying around him, but they also have children and responsibilities and I hear he went home alone on Tuesday night.”

As for how Jax is doing after the filing, though? While he “respects” Brittany’s decision to divorce him, he is also “gutted” by how things turned out — which is why his pals, including Jesse, “don’t want to leave him alone” right now. The insider explained:

“Jax is understandably gutted it has come to this, but he respects Brittany’s decision, she is still the mother of his child, and they are focused on making Cruz the priority.”

First, before J.Lo finally filed for divorce, sources claimed her inner circle, including her longtime manager Benny Medina, HATED her hubby. Not a great sign! More recently, because they seemingly didn’t have a prenup before tying the knot, Ben’s bestie Matt Damon could get dragged into the messy divorce, which we bet has soured him on Jenny from the Block!

The duo started their production company Artists Equity after the Bennifer wedding, meaning Ben’s stake is now community property in the divorce, according to TMZ. So the singer is entitled to financial interest from their films and could fight Ben for some of his stake in the company! With all that in mind, it got us thinking… If J.Lo’s friends never liked Ben, how did his friends feel about her?? Was everyone seeing the red flags or nah?!

Well, it turns out The Martian star was actually very open about how he felt about the lovebirds when they rekindled things. In 2021, Matt chatted with Extra on the red carpet of his movie Stillwater and he weighed in on the romance, sharing:

“I’m just so happy for him.”

So, not exactly a glowing report or any kind of comment on Jennifer herself. Just that he’s happy for his friend. Hmm. It seemed like such a sweet sentiment at the time, but looking back, was this a little cryptic? Was he purposefully not mentioning the other half of the relationship?? Hmm.

FWIW, the 53-year-old did acknowledge Jennifer a little later on — but he still kept his thoughts vague, adding:

“He’s the best. He deserves every happiness in the world. I’m glad for both of them.”

Huh.

By the way, this wasn’t the only time he commented on the relationship. In May of that year, before the romance was confirmed, he appeared on Today where Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb questioned him about the rumored sparks. He coyly teased:

“I just heard you guys. I was sitting here waiting to come on TV. It’s the first time I heard about it.”

But he did gush about them both, saying:

“It’s a fascinating story. I hope it’s true. I love them both. I hope it’s true. That would be awesome.”

Back then, Matt seemed to like the Hustlers alum, as far as we can tell. So we guess it was only her friends seeing the warning signs before anyone else!

But as Ben’s bestie, we wonder if Matt has a different opinion these days?? We mean, he must if he’s about to get caught in the middle of the divorce, right? And just imagine the horror stories he may have heard from his buddy as the marriage was deteriorating! He’s gotta have all the tea — and he’s clearly Team Ben all the way!

Matt’s been by Ben’s side throughout this whole split, and the pair have been spending a ton of time together both before and after the filing. From what we’ve heard Ben has been totally focused on work. Over the weekend, the father of three even seemed in good spirits as he joined The Instigators star, his wife Luciana Barroso, and their children for dinner in Los Angeles. So Matt’s loyalties haven’t changed! Romances can come and go but this bromance will never change.

In a lengthy Us Weekly cover story on Wednesday, sources opened up about how the Duchess of Sussex has found her new purpose after taking her Prince Charming and going home. Noting that she’s gone through many career changes in her past, a family friend told the outlet:

“You’re established in one world and then you enter another and your narrative is dictated by external forces.”

After leaving the royal family, Meghan and Prince Harry made a splash by doing several media projects and interviews, but it quickly became apparent none of it was panning out the way they had hoped. Their podcast, their Netflix deal, nothing was hitting.

In recent months, however, the Suits alum has clearly been preparing for her next shot. Not only is she teasing the launch of her lifestyle company American Rivera Orchards, but she’s also taking pointers from Hollywood powerhouses like Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow. She joined them and others at the house of broker Amy Griffin for a one-day business summit in July, an insider dished:

“Meghan was there to network. She was very kind and humble and eager to learn.”

Over the summer, she’s also gotten more involved with various charity organizations, like The Parents’ Network, a campaign to protect kids from online harm. She and her hubby also made a trip to Colombia. A second insider reflected:

“Meghan has transitioned from actress to royal to entrepreneur. She’s worn many hats, but she believes age and experience have [prepared her] for a bigger purpose in life. She’s very happy with the role she’s carved out.”

It was important for her to take the time to process everything and come up with a new plan of action after her initial media blitz post-royals, the family friend acknowledged:

“After Spare, [Harry and Meghan] realized, ‘OK, we’re ready to move on. We want to focus on our future. We can have meaning and importance separate from the lives we had previously.’”

They added:

“Meghan doesn’t harbor any negative feelings. She just wants peace, and knows you can’t find peace if you harbor resentments.”

She seemed to address this herself earlier this month in Colombia, saying:

“So much of how I approach things is less about the fight and more about how do we show up in the space and wash things over with love and kindness and generosity.”

Take her feud with Princess Catherine, for example. While she was happy to wish her well amid her cancer diagnosis, Meghan and Harry have not spoken out about other royal matters — and that’s on purpose. The family friend dished:

“Meghan’s team gets asked daily to comment on stuff that has nothing to do with their lives now. They have left it behind.”

She’s also left some of her own family members behind, like controversial father Thomas Markle, the first source said:

“Meghan still has no contact with her dad. She does not plan on having a relationship with him, and he has not met his grandkids. That ship has sailed.”

Instead, she leans on her pals and “has a great group of friends who are all successful in their own ways who she really trusts.” This includes Serena Williams and Ellen DeGeneres plus other local moms she meets up with regularly. The first insider added that she’s “very close” with neighbor and Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd while a second insider said she’s befriended entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima, cofounder of IT Cosmetics.

Things are a bit more difficult for Harry. He “has a small [group] of close friends,” the second source shared, claiming he prefers to keep his inner circle small for “understandable reasons.” While that may be true, we have been hearing his UK friends don’t like his wife and that’s a big reason he’s become more lonely. Not to mention, most live in the UK, and he had to move to California — so that can’t be easy! Regardless, it sounds like he’ll always put his family first, the source went on:

“He’ll always be fond of his home country, but the way he views it, his wife and kids are his priority. If that means making sure they’re safe and happy in Montecito, then he supports that.”

The husband and wife are both very hands-on parents who want their kids Archie and Lilibet to have normal childhoods despite their fame, the family friend continued:

“They take the kids to school, they pick them up, and they are very active and present with them throughout the day.”

Referencing the Duke’s battle for security in the UK, the family friend insisted the children are going to stay out of the spotlight for their safety, noting:

“I think every parent wants to share their kid with the world, but they just can’t. … [Prince] William’s kids, for example, have way more safety, even though they’re recognizable. And the same doesn’t apply to Meghan and Harry’s children. They know the world wants to see [them but] I would expect them to live smaller lives until that gets sorted, if it ever does.”

It sounds like the kids may not even understand their royal heritage yet, as the friend pointed out, “they’ll have those conversations in due time.” Right now, Meg and Harry want the little ones to feel loved for who they are:

“They’re so well-mannered. Archie is sweet and curious and playful, and Lili is vibrant and happy.”

The second source added that the parents are happy just being parents right now. Thankfully they apparently have plenty of time despite working on their Archewell Foundation campaigns and launching their business ventures. But as the kids get older, anything is possible:

“Afterwards who’s to say? But I think the focus is very much on raising their two children.”

And staying on the same page really helps. Meghan and Harry have been leaning on each other for support this whole time, the friend shared:

“They’re so in sync. Throughout their relationship, they’ve stood together no matter what.”

The second insider revealed that they enjoy downtime together and try to keep a positive mindset and are motivated to do their best work always, saying:

“It’s rooted in the bonds they share together.”

As for their new life in California, they do a lot of low-key activities like gardening, hiking, and cooking. The second insider described it as “a California lifestyle.” What, they don’t garden in Merry Old England??

While it was no doubt difficult to walk away from the royal family, they do have a big bonus now. They can work on “projects they are passionate about as opposed to being given projects to do,” making the work “more personal,” the second insider dished. Good point!

Along with The Parents’ Network, Meghan is working on her new initiative, the Welcome Project, which helps empower female refugees from Afghanistan. A third source who has worked with the former actress told the outlet:

“Female advocacy remains a centerpiece of her philanthropic intent.”

She’s also looking forward to launching her lifestyle brand sometime early next year, around the time her new Netflix series is supposed to premiere. The second source expressed:

“[ARO] will likely be very much in line with who Meghan is as a person. She loves hosting events, and she’s very thoughtful about how she treats her guests whenever they come over.”

The third insider said her series “is going to be a take on her and the joy of living,” including “little things she’s learned in terms of being a modern-day hostess.” It’s been rumored Harry may make an appearance. For now, the sources just promised there would be many familiar faces joining in.

So, Meghan has a lot on her plate coming up — but she’s NOT planning to run for office, return to acting, or write a memoir despite rampant rumors, the third confidant maintained. She’s just being Meghan:

“Meghan’s in the middle of her story right now.”

Maybe one day! Right now, a big passion of the 43-year-old’s is simply to give back, the family friend added:

“She knows her life would be extraordinarily different if she did not marry who she married. There is privilege and so much room to do good. She wants to meet the moment and make good on her good fortune.”

The friend noted that it was hard for her to “be herself” in the royal household which is why this change of pace is so refreshing, they shared:

“Most people are not really allowed to be themselves — if you’ve watched The Crown, I think that’s pretty understood.”

That’s why she’s so excited about this moment:

“There’s air and space and room. She can just be who she is.”

It’s certainly an exciting time with so much still to come from Meg! We just hope her business ventures and media projects are more successful this time around! Otherwise, she’s gonna have to come up with a whole new plan!

The mom of five stopped by Brian’s Oldish podcast on Monday, and the two really dove into the 18-year period between when Beverly Hills, 90210 wrapped and when they reconnected. Such a long hiatus for a friendship! We’re glad they reconnected before it was too late…

Thinking back to one of their final conversations around 2000 when the show ended, Tori explained:

“I remember our last conversation and the last thing we said to each other before those 18 years. I was crying. I remember crying that we were going to lose touch because we were so close. It was almost like going through a divorce or something.”

To Brian, the show ending didn’t mean they had to sever ties. But, amid her relationship with her ex-boyfriend and former co-star Vincent Young, he felt Tori withdrew:

“What I remember is going by Vincent’s house to see you multiple days after we wrapped and trying to keep a connection going. But it got to the point where I just never got that from you.”

And that’s not the extent of it! Years later during a “90210 DVD release party,” the distance continued as they were both with their respective partners at the time — Dean McDermott and Megan Fox:

“You were married to Dean and I was with Megan when we were still just dating — you guys got there and you never said hello to me once. I just kept missing you guys and then you were gone.”

Hmm. Is he implying their significant others didn’t want them hanging out either? Just how close were they?? Well, they dated in real life earlier in 90210’s run and Tori has been very vocal about her feelings toward BAG. So we can understand exes being a little wary…

Unfortunately neither reached out, so each felt the cold shoulder. Brian explained:

“It was just this thing of like, ‘She just doesn’t want to be my friend.’ I genuinely felt that way. I tried to visit you and I would call you. When that wasn’t reciprocated and so I gave up. I didn’t know what was going on in your life.”

Yikes! But it seems the distance predated Dean and Megan. We mentioned the Vincent Young of it all. And Tori squarely blames that relationship for her losing touch:

“On my part, I lost myself in that relationship [with Vincent] again as I had done previously in relationships. That relationship was not a good relationship for me and toward the end I got wrapped up and things weren’t good.”

And she wasn’t the only one who she felt was consumed by love! Tori said Brian’s relationship with ex Vanessa Marcil was a major part of why she took a step back from their friendship:

“That relationship was frustrating to see from a friend’s perspective who loves someone so much. To see what is going on and see how your friend is treated and not be OK with it.”

Shots fired! She continued that she knew she couldn’t step in:

“But also knowing that you can’t really say anything because the person has to go through their own experience and go on their journey.”

Tori added:

“I shied away from you because you weren’t a fan of [my] relationship [with Vincent]. You had a good working relationship with Vincent but I don’t think you felt like our personal relationship was something that was correct for me. My process was different and I would shy away from those that would really fight for me. I never stopped thinking about you and never stopped wanting to reach out and reconnect.”

Brian responded:

“I still showed up. I had come to terms with knowing that wasn’t a good relationship but you are my sister so there is no cut-off.”

So was it how they felt about each other’s partners? Or how the partners felt about their history and vibe together? Hmm…

In Friday’s episode of the late actress’ podcast Let’s Be Clear, Rose reflected on the pair’s friendship, her biggest regrets, and the last time she saw Shannen before she died from cancer. As Perezcious readers know, the pair had a complicated relationship after Rose replaced Shannen on Charmed, showing up to play the Halliwells’ half-sister, Paige Matthews, beginning in 2001. Of course, that was the same year Shannen (AKA Prue Halliwell) was fired amid a rift with co-star Alyssa Milano.

In the podcast episode, Rose noted that at the time she “joined Charmed [she] did not understand the backstory” and was “just trying to keep [her] head above water.” She explained “they made it sound like she was difficult,” elaborating elsewhere:

“I was just told she was fired and nobody talked about her. […] I was very famous at that point, but I was persona non grata, non-hirable. I caused disruptions everywhere I went. This is something that Shannen [and I] later talked about that she related to: the weight of what it’s like to have the media machine lie about you.”

Despite pressure, Rose refused to lean into the “war” everyone wanted her to start with Shannen:

“From the get go, every question was like, ‘Do you think Shannen Doherty hates you?’ ‘Do you think she’s jealous of you?’ ‘What do you think?’ And I refused to take the bait. They wanted me to start a war with her, and I was like, absolutely not. And to her credit, she absolutely did not do that either.”

Because of their history, many assumed they were in a bad place at the time of Shannen’s death. But it was actually quite the opposite! McGowan shared that they had been on good terms for a while — except the whole thing played out in private. This is one of Rose’s big regrets right now, as she candidly shared:

“I do regret not doing the podcast with her, but at the same time, I think because so much of our relationship had played out publicly, that to have that period of time just for us was really special.”

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum died at age 53 in July after a years-long cancer battle. Now, Rose regrets that she didn’t have more time with Shannen, too. She added:

“I wish I could have gotten to know her sooner. I don’t know how that would have happened, but I wish we could have. We both despised corporate feminism, as I call it, like slogans, and fake activists, and people that are just doing it for the clicks and the glory, but without actually putting in the work and the trauma that it takes to do that work.”

The Jawbreaker star acknowledged that she and Shannen were very similar, including in the way they both preferred directing to acting. Rose recalled:

“She really lived so many lives in one life, and that I certainly relate to. I know a lot of us can, but she lived life on a grand scale with gusto and just badass fun. One of the things we learned, I think, from each other by being outspoken was actually how much more similar we were than different.”

As for their last interaction, Rose recalled:

“About a month before she died, we got to be together just alone, just me and her, for the first time ever, and for the first time in 25 years. It was so cool, and we just actually didn’t want the night to end. And it was both wholesome and — that word is so dorky, but here we are. It was sweet.”

Aw! The precious alone time they shared was the perfect opportunity for them to heal old wounds and grow closer, she noted:

“She told me stuff that I’d never known, and I told her stuff that she didn’t know. And she had some questions for me, and I answered them and vice versa.”

This get-together was also the first time the Scream alum, 50, learned Shannen was preparing to try a new “experimental treatment” for her health condition prior to passing. She reflected:

“I had a feeling when she said about the treatment, I just had this feeling that this was not really going to go well, and she looked frightened for the first time. She was frightened. And I gave her a big hug, and I told her I loved her.”

Their time together may have been cut short, but at least Rose was able to tell Shannen just how she felt while she still could! That in and of itself is a bittersweet gift. So glad they were on good terms and shared such special moments before this tragic death, even despite the regrets that Rose has now in how things played out around them.

Charlie Sheen‘s ex-wife was not charged — unlike several others — but it turns out cops were right to be looking into her. A source told Us Weekly on Wednesday that the pair had a complicated relationship over the years after befriending each other in rehab as they dealt with their addiction and mental health struggles. The insider explained:

“They met at rehab a couple times, and when they reconnected the last time at treatment they were back on each other’s radars.”

But unfortunately, they allegedly didn’t just lean on each other for support.

The Friends alum reportedly turned to Brooke for “favors,” they dished:

“Matthew was a friend who would ask her for favors. And Matthew was relentless. That’s what an addict is. She was a pawn to Matthew. They didn’t go to dinner or hang out. He was isolated even from friends and family.”

The insider believes these “favors” included exchanging names of shady doctors who were more lax about prescriptions, they claimed:

“On and off for years Matthew and Brooke had been trading information on doctors. And it was implied they were more liberal than others when it came to meds.”

Oof. The source claimed Brooke “would give him names to potentially questionable doctors.” And even more, this was usually a one-sided trade:

“Typically, Matthew was the one to reach out to her, not the other way around. It was a random text and Facetime.”

Their connection quickly concerned those in the Fools Rush In star’s inner circle so much that measures were supposedly taken to cut them off. The source shared:

“People in his life tried to prevent him from reaching out to her.”

The source added that Matthew “was already dependent on prescriptions just to manage his daily healthcare needs.” But you combine that with his addiction, and it was a brutal (and eventually deadly) combination.

Ultimately, five people were charged in Matthew’s tragic death: his personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, “Ketamine Queen” Jasveen Sangha, Dr. Mark Chavez, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, and Erik Fleming. Charges included conspiracy to distribute ketamine, distribution of ketamine resulting in death, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and altering and falsifying records related to a federal investigation, per Us. Drowning, coronary artery disease, the effects of buprenorphine (used to treat opiate addiction), and other health conditions were also listed as contributing factors to Matthew’s death, but it was the high level of ketamine in his system that was most concerning.

While he’d been using ketamine therapy to treat his depression and anxiety under supervision, the amount of drugs in his system and the timing of his death indicated that it hadn’t been part of his therapy. It was later determined that his assistant allegedly helped supply him several times with ketamine on the day of his death. Just tragic.

While Brooke had allegedly been trading doctor’s names with him, cops must not have found anything incriminating during their questioning since she wasn’t arrested. Per In Touch, authorities took Brooke’s laptop and iPhone amid an investigation and she “was completely cooperative.” She’s yet to open up about the investigation or her relationship with the late actor.

Last week, two doctors, a woman known as the “Ketamine Queen,” an alleged drug distributor, and the actor’s live-in personal assistant were arrested for supplying him with illegal ketamine that ultimately lead to his death in October of 2023. And ever since, the fallout has been swift and shocking.

As Perezcious readers know, the Friends star tragically died at his home in Los Angeles. He was found unconscious in his jacuzzi, where he drowned following the “acute effects of ketamine,” the medical examiner determined. Just so heartbreaking. And even worse after we’ve continued to hear more and more about how all those closest to him kept feeding into his addiction despite some very obvious and concerning warning signs.

Speaking to People on Monday night, a source told the outlet that “the arrests have brought back a lot of feelings” for the actor’s close friends. The insider elaborated:

“Matthew did have true friends that loved and cared about him. They would have all tried to help him if he’d reached out.”

Oof. The source continued:

“It makes them sad that he was surrounded by enablers.”

Addiction is such a challenge — and it is certainly not easy to be the one to confront a loved one amid their struggles, but it’s the right thing to do. It’s also something Matthew has admitted being grateful for in the past, such as when Jennifer Aniston called him out on his drinking problem.

You would have hoped that those closest to the Fools Rush In alum would’ve done more to protect him in his final days. Most especially his personal assistant Kenneth Iwamasa who, according to court docs obtained by Us Weekly, found the television star “unconscious at his residence on at least two occasions” due to the usage of “significant quantities of ketamine” just days before he would die of the drug. The red flags were right there! And yet nobody did anything. Awful.

It’s no wonder Matthew’s “true friends” are now going through it. He was so deeply loved by so many people who witnessed his ups and downs with addiction for years and would’ve done anything to help him get better. It’s natural for them to wonder “what if” at this point. But sadly, it’s too late.

This week, the 33-year-old actress sparked rumors she was on the type 2 diabetes medication for weight loss when she posted a picture on Instagram wearing a shirt with the slogan “Ozempics 2024” with a picture of the American flag and the Olympic torch. Check it out (below):

She looks great! But is she on Ozempic? We would have thought she was joking wearing a shirt like that!

However, a source claimed to Dailymail.com on Friday that Jamie Lynn IS using the drug to help her lose weight. But the problem? Her loved ones are afraid she’ll take things way too far! Uh oh! It sounds like we could have an alleged Scott Disick situation here… An insider said:

“Her friends and family have told her that she looks incredible and that she does not need to lose any more weight, but she’s not listening.”

According to the outlet, Jamie Lynn received a ton of brutal comments about her appearance when she went on multiple reality shows like Dancing With the Stars, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! All the hate knocked her confidence. So when the Zoey 101 alum got the confirmation she would reprise her role in the upcoming fourth season of Sweet Magnolias, she allegedly decided to try to lose weight through Ozempic. However, after successfully shedding a few pounds, Jamie Lynn is now having a tough time quitting! The source explained:

“Jamie Lynn hopped on the Ozempic train, and is now struggling to get off. She was mortified over her appearance when she did a string of shows last year. She read the comments and took it very, very hard. When Sweet Magnolia’s was renewed for season 4 she was so focused on getting a new body. Her friends were supportive because many of them use it too and by the time she started filming in January she looked great and was happy.”

Although her pals were “supportive” at first, they’re growing worried about Britney Spears’ little sister. Their concerns are just being brushed off by Jamie Lynn as she is afraid to gain the weight back, though, says the source:

“But then she kept going and is now having difficulty pulling the plug on it. She is so scared of gaining it all back that she is willing to put her desire to have a ‘summer body’ before her wellbeing.”

So far, the singer reportedly has had “some” side effects:

“She has had some side affects just as most people have and although they are not severe enough to warrant her being forced to stop, they have affected her. She gets headaches a lot and has a hard time focusing and also stomach cramps.”

Umm… All of that sounds pretty “severe” and unpleasant to us! Jeez!

It’s not just the negative comments that pushed Jamie Lynn to go on Ozempic and continue to suffer through these side effects, though! Or even the main reason! Another source told the outlet the Follow Me artist mainly wants to “step on the gas” when it comes to her career next year and fears her weight will hurt her plans:

“Jamie Lynn is eager to step on the gas with her career coming into 2025. She understands that her name and connection to her sister will open doors, but fears her physical appearance could impact this. She understands the pressure that Hollywood puts on actors for the way they look. So she turned to Ozempic to remain in the conversation of TV bosses.”

It’s heartbreaking to hear she’s dealing with the horrible side effects just to keep her career — if this is true. It’s important to take this report with a grain of salt as we haven’t heard from Jamie Lynn herself on whether she’s really taking Ozempic.
