An Indiana man pleaded guilty to aggravated battery after admitting he poisoned his wife. And the story behind that is… even more shocking.

According to newly revealed court documents accessed by USA Today and other outlets, 71-year-old Alfred Ruf (pictured above) pled guilty to aggravated battery during a court hearing in Richmond, Indiana back in July. Then, on Monday of this week, he was sentenced to four years in prison and five more years of probation.

According to prosecutors, the whole thing came about after Ruf got the idea to kill his longtime wife… so that he could marry his stepdaughter!

Per multiple outlets, Ruf told cops that he began “spiking” his wife’s drinks in January 2022. The substance he used, which authorities later determined to contain cocaine, MDMA, and benzodiazepines, was first given to him by his stepdaughter — the woman’s very own daughter.

The whole plot came undone when the wife began to suspect she was being drugged. She went to the cops with a pill bottle she found in her house that contained an unknown powdery substance with an “off-white residue.” They tested it, and also her blood and urine, and all samples came back with those three drugs. She denied ever using drugs herself — and so, the investigation was on.

The whole thing began to unravel rather quickly after that. When questioned, Ruf admitted he had been poisoning his wife in a wild bid to get with her daughter from a previous marriage. Ruf’s defense attorney told USA Today:

“Once the state changed the nature of the offense, he took responsibility for what he did wrong. That’s the appropriate thing to do.”

Uh… sure… better late than never, we suppose.

The motive for Ruf’s poisoning attempt is even crazier. Per prosecutors, Ruf admitted to being sexually involved with his stepdaughter, who is — thankfully — an adult at 31 years old. She was the one who gave him the pill bottle, he claimed, and she ordered him to put the substance in her mother’s Coca-Cola. But the stepdaughter has not been charged in connection with the crimes.

As for the reasoning behind it, prosecutors said Ruf and the stepdaughter, who has not been named publicly, were having sex — and were even keen on getting married after his wife was out of the picture. At various times, the stepdaughter — as well as an unidentified friend of hers — would call Ruf and ask him to come sprinkle the poison into the Coke cans. At that point, according to a police affidavit, all hell would break loose:

“Alfred would then sprinkle some of the white powder in (his wife’s) Coca-Cola can and then wait for her to fall asleep. [The two women] would then come to Alfred’s residence and put more of an unknown substance in (Ruf’s wife’s) drink and have her drink it.”

Then, with his wife knocked out cold — Ruf told cops she would usually be unconscious for 12-13 hours — the daughter and her friend would put on a “show” for the old man. Per court docs, the two younger women would wear the wife’s lingerie and perform “sex acts on each other” for Ruf to watch.

WTF?!?!?!

Ruf would pay the women for the sex acts, per cops. And to top it all off, the two women allegedly stole some of the unconscious wife’s personal items during those sex sessions, as well. Per the affidavit, the stepdaughter in question wanted to “get mom out of the picture” after first learning that Ruf and his wife were planning on selling their home. (Seems like we’ve been hearing a lot of unsettling news in that realm lately…) The stepdaughter was also apparently interested in a life insurance policy that was in place for her mother.

Ruf’s stepdaughter kept telling him they would get married after they “took care” of his wife, per court docs. So yes, Ruf did realize his wife would eventually die from the persistent powerful drug cocktails. In the end, he told interrogators he “felt bad” about what was going on and decided to come clean. Now he’s facing the prospect of spending some time in prison on these horrific charges.

A Massachusetts cop is finding himself on the wrong side of the law after allegedly murdering a young woman. And the story behind it is just… vile.

In 2020, Sandra Birchmore discovered she was pregnant. According to court documents obtained by The US Sun, she excitedly told friends about the news — but made it clear the father would not be a part of the child’s life. Then in February of 2021, the expecting mom was found deceased. Her death was initially ruled a suicide, but then some incriminating details surfaced. Incriminating for Officer Matthew Farwell.

You see, around two weeks before Sandra’s passing, one of her friends called the Stoughton Police Department to inform them of a relationship she had with Officer Farwell, according to the Department of Justice. And what was discovered after that is truly shocking.

Apparently, Sandra first met Matthew through a discontinued SPD program which aimed to introduce youngsters to careers in law enforcement. At the time, Matthew was 27 and Sandra was just 15! The two apparently became friends on Facebook after that… before eventually getting involved in a sexual relationship, according to an indictment.

WTF. This is an officer of the law we’re talking about! Who groomed a minor!

The pair continued a sexual relationship for years, even allegedly engaging in sex acts while he was on the job! But the story gets even more disturbing…

Matthew ended up resigning from the force in April 2022 after being placed on paid administrative leave. And just days later two MORE officers, including Matthew’s twin brother William, as well as officer Robert Devine, were placed on administrative leave. Why? Because they were ALSO accused of engaging in sexual acts with Sandra from the time she was 15 years old.

Holy s**t, WHAT?!

SPD Chief Donna McNamara said in September 2022:

“Through a sustained and deliberate combination of lies, deceit, and treachery, they violated the policies and core values of the Staughton Police Department, not to mention human decency.”

That is just so awful…

Sandra’s family launched a wrongful death lawsuit against the officers and the police department, revealing that a pathologist they hired ruled her death a homicide… Despite the state medical examiner’s initial suicide ruling.

Fast forward to Wednesday. Matthew was finally arrested, with prosecutors blaming him for Sandra’s death. And no, not for driving her to it. They’re saying he murdered her and made it look like suicide. In a press release, they claimed:

“Farwell killed Birchmore with the intent to prevent law enforcement from learning about Farwell’s commission or possible commission of federal offenses.”

They allege he strangled Sandra after her friend blew the lid off their relationship to the police department. He was charged with killing a witness or a victim, and faces either life in prison or possibly even the death penalty if convicted. All parties have thus far maintained their innocence — including Officer Devine and the other Officer Farwell.

What a disturbing violation of their power as law enforcement. Disgusting.

This was already a horrifying story — and after this influencer brought the receipts, it only got more scary!

Eixchel Berroteran, AKA Eixchelb on TikTok, shocked her fans when she posted a carousel of graphic photos to her Instagram. The pics, which featured some serious injuries and bloodshed, were only the tip of the iceberg for this story. In the caption, the social media star alleged that her stepfather tried to kill her. Whoa!

While recalling the event she says took place just last Thursday, she explained (in her native Spanish):

“On the night of August 21, 2024 I was reborn, my ex stepdad (who didn’t live in my house) walked in with a gun saying he was going to kill me and said it was according to him, because ‘I didn’t want him and my mom to be together.'”

The viral star, who has amassed over 4.3 million followers TikTok, went on to detail just what she says happened. She wrote:

“It was all like this, I wait for my mom at the door of the apartment and he entered my house without permission and saying he was going to kill me, He pulled out a gun pointing at my mom and saying he was going to kill me. He pushed her in the living room and entered my room. He pointed the gun at me, I jumped to the floor asking him to please do nothing, intending to get under the bed, but it was very low and I decided to crawl towards him asking him to stop screaming and at that moment I heard the shot left me stunned; but my mom who was already behind him forcing him so the shot didn’t reach me.”

OMG! So, according to her, he just barged in and started attacking?! So scary…

Eixchel continued to say the bullet missed her by mere centimeters — and credited divine intervention for keeping her safe:

“That night… the worst of my entire Life, God gave me another chance. When missing the shot by CENTIMETERS… I was stunned, in shock and with fear to think that those would be my last moments of life; at that moment God gave me the strength to stand and defend myself with my mom.”

She added that her stepfather “bit” her mother as they struggled. In a heroic turn of events, the influencer alleged she and her mom fought back and took control of the situation:

“The love we have for each other gave us the strength to control the situation, we arrived by force into the kitchen where we fell, my mom and I stayed on top of it, trying to defend ourselves as we could. He bit my mom and pulled my hair with a lot of force, we both cried for help but until that moment no one listened, he kept insisting on shooting me and between the two we grabbed above him his hand where he held the gun and always wanted to point at me, one person touched the door but he made us tell him to leave.”

He’s even being accused of intimidation, allegedly telling the women not to go to police or else their would be consequences:

“He threatened us saying that if we called the police it would all be over, he also said that he had contacts in the police and that if we reported… he had bully friends and this wasn’t going to stay like this.”

SO disturbing. Just truly awful.

Eixchel went on to say she doesn’t know how she’ll ever “overcome this nightmare” because her trauma is much more than “physical injuries”:

“God interceded for us that night, I can only say thank you for another chance. In my mind, it was just that if it was going to kill me… my mom was going to have that trauma forever and if I killed my mom I was never going to be able to handle it. Today I can tell you that trauma hurts more than physical injuries, and that I really don’t know how I will ever overcome this nightmare. No one deserves to live what me and my mom lived and don’t ever think this is something that can happen to you.. until it’s happening. I ask you to pray a lot for us and that justice is served. On my part I promise you that when I manage to heal even just a little.. i will become the voice of all the people who have been victims of abuse, abuse and in this case.. almost murdered.”

Heartbreaking, but how noble to dedicate herself into becoming a voice for victims after this experience. That takes so much strength.

Eixchel wrapped up her post by saying she can’t give much more info because it is an open investigation, but she hopes God can give her “the strength to move on”:

“At this time, it’s a Criminal Investigation case so I won’t be able to give specific details. There are no words to describe the terror, pain, trauma, anxiety and panic attacks this has caused us.. Only God knows why I’m still here and I ask him to give me the strength to move on and that at some point he can heal my heart.”

Gut-wrenching. Those poor, poor women.

Eixchel’s stepfather was arrested and charged with attempted murder, two counts of burglary with assault or battery, false imprisonment with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a firearm, attempted evidence tampering, and felony battery. The probable cause arrest affidavit, as obtained by Law&Crime, reveals the mother’s side of the story which matches Eixchel’s. It also included the disturbing details of how Luis bit his wife all over her body while she attempted to fight him off with a wine bottle. The influencer’s photos show one of those awful bite marks.

Per local outlet WPLG, eventually the women were able to get him to calm down and talk, but police said the suspect “kept a hold of [Eixchel] by the hair while sitting on the couch, not allowing her to exit” the place. He’s also alleged to have made the mom and daughter “clean up the scene” where he’d just allegedly battered them. Disgusting.

The ladies said it took an entire day to work up the courage to contact police after Luis allegedly threatened the two of them with hitmen. Luckily for the TikToker and her mother, though, the stepdad is being held in prison without bond.

Just horrifying. We’re so glad Eixchel and her mother survived. May they get the justice they deserve.

According to footage posted on social media, the 30-year-old country singer was performing the track It Matters To Her during a show at the Colorado State Fair on Saturday. However, he stopped in the middle of the song and called out a male audience member when he apparently saw the guy hit a woman! OMG! While pointing out into the crowd, Scotty shouted:

“Hey! Right here, right here. That’s a lady you just hit, sir. Absolutely not, you just hit the lady.”

The American Idol alum immediately asked for event police and security to take the man out of the venue, saying:

“Get the heck out of here. On God’s green Earth, at a Scotty McCreery show? What are you doing? Y’all let the cops know who hit the lady ‘cause that’s absolutely unacceptable. Whoever you are, that’s the definition of a coward, hitting a lady. Get the heck out of here.”

Crew members went on to shine spotlights into the front of the crowd to help officials locate the guy. Eventually, the man was removed from the area, and the concert continued. Scotty told the audience before playing again:

“Well, if we’re all set, let’s get on back to the show.”

The disgraced actor took to his Instagram account on Tuesday to share a video of him standing by his pickup truck in a CarMax parking lot. He noted that it wasn’t an ad, and that he was really having to sell his car to save money and start a “new life.” He said:

“I bought this for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift for myself. I have loved this truck intensely and … on road trips and I took it for one last road trip to Carmax. This is because I’m selling my truck. I have put about 4 or 500 dollars worth of gas in it and I can’t afford it.”

After spending time in the Cayman Islands following his divorce from Elizabeth Chambers and after sexual assault and cannibalism allegations, he is finally back in Los Angeles and has been “for a couple of weeks.” This prompted him to make a change, he detailed:

“I got a new car, it’s tiny, it’s a hybrid, I’m probably going to put about ten bucks in gas in it a month.”

Despite already getting a new car, the 38-year-old was having reservations about selling. He said his kids Harper, 9, and Ford, 7, were “not happy about this,” telling the camera:

“They’re, like, ‘Dad all of our memories in the truck.’”

He added:

“So I haven’t told them yet. But I’ll tell them and they’ll be fine, kids are adaptable. I just keep telling myself that parking is going to be easier and gas is going to be cheaper.”

Teen Mom alum Kailyn Lowry decided to share her past trauma with fans through a new TikTok trend. And they were NOT prepared for this much…

The mom of seven jumped aboard the “candy salad” trend in which everyone participating — in this instance, just Kail — puts some candy in a big bowl while revealing something about themselves. The video, posted on Saturday, has now garnered over 6 million views… and thousands of comments. The clips have left everyone shocked, and perhaps made them a bit more understanding of who this reality star really is.

Kailyn captioned the video “my villain origin story” and went through several packages of candy while she dropped disturbing details about her early life. While dropping some Swedish Fish in the bowl, she said:

“When I was 6 months old, I was kidnapped, brought to Texas, and my mom found me in the hospital with pneumonia.”

Whoa, WHAT?! So horrifying! And sadly, it doesn’t stop there. She went on to mention several more scary instances from her childhood, revealing:

“When I was 9 years old, I woke up with a strange man in my bed. I have no idea how he got there, who he is, or where he went afterward.”

Um… The 32-year-old continued on to talk about her experiences at just 10 and 11 years old, shocking fans by saying:

“When I was 10 years old I walked to my uncle’s house to ask if he had any food because I hadn’t seen my mom in days … When I was 11 years old, my babysitter did coke in front of my face on the coffee table.”

Kailyn told another story about how her mom showed up “under the influence” to pick her up from school when she was in fourth grade, and also revealed the sad way she lost her virginity… at just 14:

“When I was 14 years old, I lost my virginity on a sidewalk without even knowing what sex was.”

By 16, the reality TV star says she was legally adopted by her boyfriend’s parents:

“When I was 16 years old, my mom signed over custody to my boyfriend’s parents and told me that absence makes the heart grow fonder.”

Heartbreaking. And all of this took place when she was so young! She wasn’t even done yet, either…

Kailyn revealed she met her father for the first time when she was 17 — and it wasn’t a great experience:

“When I was 17 years old, I met my dad for the first time and he had a lock on his fridge and told me he eats roadkill barbecue.”

The final story, coming from when she was 19, is even more gut-wrenching than the last:

“When I was 19 years old, I was sexually assaulted by someone I knew and I never reported it to police but I did need to have repair done in the hospital by a plastic surgeon, and I never reported it because I felt bad and I didn’t know if he really actually meant to do it.”

Oh no… So, so sad. Poor girl… We’re so impressed she’s turned out so relatively normal and healthy!

If you haven’t kept up with the drama online, here’s the deal. Last year, screenshots of the 23-year-old TikTok star repeatedly using the N-word on the website ASKfm back in 2014 appeared on the “Alix Earle Snark” page on Reddit. However, it wasn’t until a year later, when the posts resurfaced on TikTok and other subreddits this month, that Alix started facing a ton of backlash online.

What made the whole situation worse? Not only did she remain silent on the offensive comments when the controversy started, but she allegedly trademarked them to stop others from continuing to share them! Yeah, you read that correctly. According to two podcasters, Alix TRADEMARKED her posts using a racial slur! What the f**k.

Jessi Smiles and Lily Marston claimed in their Do We Know Them? podcast earlier this month that the content creator’s legal team accused them of violating their copyright when screenshots of her racist posts popped up in their subreddit — which they do not own or moderate. Jessi explained:

“Her lawyer contacted us and said that we have violated their copyright. People posted screenshots of [her racist posts] in our subreddit, and her lawyer said that they have a trademark to that. We don’t moderate it, we don’t have any access to it.”

In what world does someone think it was OK to trademark that?! Especially when that same person hadn’t even apologized or at least said something about their problematic comments at that time! What a disgusting move. Watch the podcast episode (below):

Now, after weeks of silence, Alix is speaking out about the controversy in a statement posted to her Instagram Stories on Monday. First off, Braxton Berrios’ girlfriend admitted she DID use the racial slur multiple times and apologized for the “hurt” she caused. She wrote:

“A couple of weeks ago, screenshots surfaced from my old ask.fm account showing me using a slur in the summer of 2014. I am taking accountability and want to make it clear that I was 13 years old and did not understand the deeply offensive meaning behind that word. That is no excuse for using that word in any context or at any age. That is absolutely not the way I speak or what I stand for. I am deeply sorry that my words have hurt many and have led people to believe that I have any prejudice in my heart. I promise you that could not be further from the truth. My platform has always focused on positivity, entertainment, and uplifting others, and will continue to do so. I am sincerely sorry to those I have offended.”

As for why she took so long to address the scandal? Alix claimed she received bad “advice” not to say anything:

“I regret how I handled this situation, allowing too many people to talk me out of saying something for too long. I wasn’t sure how to handle it and unfortunately the advice I was given, although well intended, was wrong. There is no one to blame but myself for not standing my ground and going with my gut to speak right away. In the absence of my addressing this, my silence allowed others to fill the void with rumors that simply aren’t true.”

As we mentioned, one of those claims was that she trademarked her older posts. However, Alix insisted that part is “absolutely ridiculous and untrue.” Hmm. She continued:

“Another is that a brand announced they are no longer working with me, even though we have never been in conversations with them about a partnership in any capacity. Regardless of what’s being said online, I wanted to come on here to address the facts and most importantly apologize.”

After the statement dropped, Jessi and Lily addressed her claim that she never trademarked her posts — with receipts. They told Variety on Monday night:

“While we cannot speak to the legitimacy or existence of any trademarks or copyrights, we can confirm that we received an email from an entity identifying itself as WEB SHERIFF. This entity claimed to act as the rights agent for Alix Earle, and had written the email to notify us of 11 different alleged infringements and violations. The email was signed by John E. Henehan LL.B., who asserted under penalty of perjury that he is ‘either the intellectual property rights owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owners of the exclusive rights that are allegedly infringed.’”

The two continued:

“The email referenced a user created post on a fan-run subreddit for our podcast, a page over which we have no authorship or control. The post in question, linked within the email, featured screenshots of Earle’s unfavorable past comments on AskFM, which had already been circulating online. The email purports that this post is guilty of a laundry list of violations including but not limited to Copyright Infringement, Human Rights Violations, and Proceeds of Crime and Money Laundering Violations. It’s important to note that we received this notice despite every post on the subreddit featuring a clearly visible disclaimer stating that we are in no way affiliated with the subreddit or any of its content. In fact, we were unaware of the existence of the post in question prior to receiving this email notification.”

Jessi and Lily went on to point out that the email potentially “was sent without her knowledge or authorization,” adding:

“If that is the case, while unfortunate and out of her control, it would certainly be in her best interest to clarify that to set the record straight.”

Back in late February, music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, who had worked on Diddy‘s most recent album The Love Album: Off The Grid, filed a lawsuit against the music mogul. In it, Jones accused the man born as Sean Combs of sexual harassment and sexual assault, as well as drugging and threatening the producer. But now, Diddy is fighting back against those jaw-dropping claims! And HARD!

According to TMZ on Monday, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo popped up in federal court in Manhattan this morning to file a request for dismissal of Jones’ suit. Per that news outlet, Agnifilo claims Jones’ lawsuit is nothing more than a cash grab — and NOT the reveal of harassment, assault, trafficking, or anything else.

As you may recall, Jones claimed in his late February lawsuit that he traveled with Puff from September 2022 to November 2023. During that time, he said that he was making tracks for Diddy’s album “under an implied work-for-hire agreement,” meaning he was allegedly not paid for his work even though Combs, Universal Music Group, Motown Records, and Love Records were all supposedly enriched from his talents.

That was only the tip of the iceberg, though. Jones stated in the initial filing six months ago that he was allegedly forced to find sex workers for Diddy while the rapper was traveling, and was even pressured into engaging in unwanted sex acts with them in order to please the music mogul.

Among the claims made by Lil Rod include an assertion that he once had to walk into a Miami establishment wearing a Bad Boy Entertainment baseball cap in order to announce to sex workers that Diddy was in town. Jones also claimed that he was forced to engage in acts with those workers. He also noted that Diddy supposedly gave alcoholic beverages laced with drugs to them and other people who partied at the mogul’s home. Even more disturbing, that group allegedly included underage girls, too, according to Lil Rod.

Jones took things even a step further than that, claiming Diddy sexually harassed and assaulted him at homes in Florida, Los Angeles, New York, and even on a yacht the musician had rented for himself and a group in the US Virgin Islands. Per the suit, that behavior on Diddy’s part allegedly included “constant unsolicited and unauthorized groping and touching of [Jones’] anus.” Oh, and Jones claimed he also had to work on tracks in Diddy’s bathroom — while the rapper showered naked behind a glass wall!!

But now, Diddy’s dismissal request has come through. Per this new TMZ report from early on Monday, Agnifilo says in the dismissal docs that Jones and his lawyer Tyrone Blackburn are trying to do nothing more than score a quick monetary settlement. Specifically, Agnifilo cites a video Jones recently posted on social media alongside the rapper Uncle Murda. In it, the two men can be seen laughing about Lil Rod’s lawsuit, with Jones claiming at one point that Diddy needed to “pay him that money by Monday,” because he is from Chicago and doesn’t “play about our business.”

Legally, Diddy’s team argued that Jones failed to prove in his initial suit that his “business or property” was injured under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act — more commonly known as RICO. And as far as the sex trafficking and assault allegations against Diddy go, Agnifilo claims Jones’ lawyer never offered any claim under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 which showed that the producer was forced to commit any sexual acts in exchange for money or other compensation.

Diddy’s lawyers toss out a bunch of secondary arguments in their dismissal filing, too, per TMZ. That outlet notes that Agnifilo called bull s**t on Jones’ claims of emotional distress, breach of oral contract, and the fact that Jones supposedly failed to provide specific details describing the exact sexual assaults in his initial lawsuit.

Upon learning of the newly-filed dismissal request, Blackburn clapped back hard. Jones’ attorney told this to TMZ when it came to reacting to Diddy’s latest move:

“This is clearly a billing exercise by Combs’ latest set of attorneys, who are late to the game and are attempting to fill their pockets with this Hail Mary motion to dismiss before their client is indicted.”

Damn!!

Still, as you may recall, Diddy’s lawyers have been pretty aggressive in their denials of the lawsuit’s claims right from the very start. Back in February, after the suit was first filed, attorney Shawn Holley slammed Jones’ allegations by saying that “reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines.” At the time, Holley continued:

“We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”

Jenna Ortega was driven off social media after receiving “disgusting” and phony artificial intelligence-created content of herself.

The Scream star opened up about the dark side of artificial intelligence during a conversation on The New York Times’ podcast The Interview over the weekend. While firmly stating, “I hate AI,” she first acknowledged that there can be positives to the technology… but that just hasn’t been her experience:

“I mean, here’s the thing: AI could be used for incredible things. I think I saw something the other day where they were saying that artificial intelligence was able to detect breast cancer four years before it progressed. That’s beautiful. Let’s keep it to that.”

For her, though, she was bombarded with horrifying content of herself after making an X (Twitter) account at just 14 years old:

“Did I like being 14 and making a Twitter account because I was supposed to and seeing dirty edited content of me as a child? No. It’s terrifying. It’s corrupt. It’s wrong.”

That’s absolutely HORRIBLE. How is AI not regulated?! She was a CHILD!

The 21-year-old added that in addition to the “dirty edited content,” she also was sent her first “unsolicited photo of a man’s genitals” at just 12 years old —  which was “just the beginning of what was to come.”

WTF! Poor girl! And after Wednesday debuted on Netflix in 2022, Jenna opted to just fully do away with her X account because the influx of NSFW content only ever increased:

“I used to have that Twitter account and I was told that, ‘Oh, you got to do it, you got to build your image. I ended up deleting it about two, three years ago because the influx after [Wednesday] had come out — these absurd images and photos, and I already was in a confused state that I just deleted it.”

She added:

“It was disgusting, and it made me feel bad. It made me feel uncomfortable. Anyway, that’s why I deleted it, because I couldn’t say anything without seeing something like that. So one day I just woke up, and I thought, ‘Oh, I don’t need this anymore.’ So I dropped it.”

Poor Jenna! We’re glad she’s found some peace, but she shouldn’t have to remove herself from social media to do so!

On Saturday, the 37-year-old actress took to Instagram to share an emotional post with her followers, showing clips of her breaking down in tears while sitting outside or in her car. Oof. It was not all sad, though. Samantha shared some adorable footage of her and her daughter, Dylan Rose, too. She wrote alongside the video:

“An amazing friend of mine recently told me ‘don’t be afraid of the tears. Let them flow. Because every tear is God gently squeezing the pain and devastation from your heart to make room for new beautiful feelings to come in.’ She also reminded me: ‘the more you cry, the less you pee.’ So let them flow. You got this.”

Unfortunately, there is a big reason for Samantha’s — and it’s not just because of her divorce from Joey. It’s also the alleged reason behind it! We learned this week that the 48-year-old actor allegedly cheated on her with his co-star, Melina Alves, from the upcoming film Socked In For Christmas. According to TMZ, her husband, Edward Rider, accused her of having an extramarital affair with Joey in divorce documents he filed in July. He allegedly found out about their affair in late March. He claimed the cheating happened “at various other times and places.”

As for Samantha? She has not publicly addressed the alleged infidelity. However, we finally got more insight into her side of the story. A source close to the former couple told People on Friday that Samantha found out about Joey’s relationship with Melina at some point — and he CONTINUED to see his mistress afterward! What! They explained:

“Joey met Melina Alves on the set of their movie, where she was a producer. He then love-bombed her just like he love-bombed Samantha. He continued to date Melina even after Samantha found out about it and confronted him.”

The source said Samantha “wanted to go to counseling.” However, Joey allegedly “fooled their counselor” and would “get ready for dates with Melina while Sam watched, bawling her eyes out.” OMG! That is just so cruel of him! It is no wonder the breakup appears to have hit Samantha hard!
